Guest Reviews
- Johan Kok (9/5): - Really lovely place with good views. Out in the bush. The food was well prepared with personal attention. The shower taps could do with new washers.
- Helgaard Steenkamp (10/5): Beautiful and simple - Beautiful nature, friendly and warm staff Bed can be more confortable
- Mashudu (4/5): - Staff were friendly. Place was quite and peaceful. There is wifi. It was bit pricey compared to other places around. I didn't realise that they charge per head. So we slept there only one night. Our room had 2 extra bank beds that made the space to be limited.
- Peet (9/5): Heaven on earth because i love nature - The view from where i stay. The bird song in the morning. First time in years i saw lightning bugs at night. I enjoyed my stay the staff was very friendly and helpfull
- Johann (8/5): -
- Chris (10/5): Our stay was exceptional thanks to Charles and his incredible team. From the moment we arrived, they - The stuff, food and location The team was amazing!
- Ray (10/5): - The view and the excellent staff, namely Charles and the chap that rode the motorcycle to the gate to direct us to the lodge
Charles made the fire and cooked us a delicious meal
- Lezinda (7/5): -
- Mandie (8/5): Amazing. The view and hospitality was really great. - I did not have any coffee in my cabin.
- Jonathan (8/5): We used the lodge as an overnight stay. A longer stay would also be good. - The location of the eco lodge is fantastic. Its bush setting provides a wonderful backdrop to the lodge. It is certainly a peaceful and relaxing destination. The resident staff are very helpful and welcoming. The process of access is quite complex. While appreciating it is a conservation area, there should be a better way of gaining access without having to phone a number which was not immediately answered.
- Linda (9/5): - The views, accomodation and especially the staff were phenomenal. Nothing
- Hannes (10/5): Amazing - Bush Perfect
- Lukas (9/5): -

- Michelle (5/5): - Thanks to Charles for the hospitality. He really took care of our family. Very friendly and helpful. Good environment, quiet and peaceful. Slept in the giraffe cabin. It was dirty and beds were not comfortable. Bedding had humps and chamber stained.
- corinne (9/5): A remote peaceful haven - The staff were excellent. We had basic rooms with the most incredible views. A fire was lit for us in the main house as it was a cool evening. The food was well cooked. We loved this lodge

- Tshamaano (8/5): Very good -
- Susanne (9/5): Beautiful and peaceful lodge - it is a really nice and peaceful place close to the border to Zimbabwe. The lodge is on rocks with a nice view over the landscape. The area just needs more water. the staff was very helpful and friendly.
- Karl-heinz (7/5): Good - Dinners were very good. Limited choice in bar. No back up power as area is prone to power outages.
- James (10/5): a little bit of heaven - the view and peacefulness it was perfect

Amazing views and well laid out to maximise your experience being in the bush. Planning required to get to and from if you are a traveler without an off road vehicle.
- Hopley (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ernst (10/5): Exceptional - Hidden in the mountains. Amazing view You must have an SUV 4 x 2 or Bakkie. Rough ride but an adventure getting there
- Niran (10/5): Exceptional -

- Thidiela (10/5): We had a great time of relaxing , enjoying nature and getting close to animals. - The place is so cool ,the staff is so welcoming they help with everything , Charles was always there for us . Enjoying the view from the mountain , just relaxing and seeing animals , had a great time , we will definitely come back for more days .
- Vusani (10/5): One of the best of the best - It is in the mountain nicely please lovely side citing lovely people everything is perfect Everything?
- Massimo (9/5): Peaceful with friendly staff - Baobab trees and friendly staff Accommodation a little rustic
- Andrew (9/5): A really relaxing and chilled stay, and I recommend it to anybody who would like a stay out of town - Food and service were excellent, we were spoiled. We were the only guests for the second day and had the place to ourselves. The views are brilliant and overall it was the perfect start to three weeks in Kruger Park. No complaints, but given the place markets itself as an Eco lodge, and given it's location, I did expect more solar to be used. especially solar water heating, but that is very minor and didn't affect our stay in any way.
- Abby (8/5): Very good - Charles, Shepherd & Nicola were very warm & welcoming. Charles cooking skills were 10/10 Slight whiff coming from the chalet so I suspect the septic tank needs attention
- Andrew (9/5): Superb -
- Herman (8/5): Very good and quiet experience - We only did an overnight stay and we left early for the Kruger. We liked the setup and the silence and the views from our bungalow. None
- Steenkamp (9/5): Awesome - Awesome view, like the bushveld experience, would love to travel around the farm next time. The bar availability was low, and choice limited, but not that we did not have enough to drink and that it was an issue.
- Scott (8/5): Very good -
- Nico (9/5): Overall it was a good stay. A little more TLC and attention to detail would make it extraordinary - Beautiful area. We enjoyed the peaceful and quiet atmosphere - food for the soul. Chalets could be further apart to provide more privacy.
- Bathini (4/5): Disappointing - Location and structure only. Staff is not friendly and not Presentable.
I don't know thier names.
They did explain what they have for breakfast.
On the way to breakfast you pass a kitchen that was not.......!
They make noise in the morning.
- Ndivhuwo (10/5): Exceptional -
- Brenden (9/5): Really enjoyed the stay, great place, great staff. - Place was exceptionally clean, especially considering it is a bush lodge. Cleaner than many hotel rooms. Staff are really great, all are helpful and friendly, doing their best to ensure a pleasant stay. We had no issues at all. The only thing that would have been nicer, is if there had been a mini fridge in the room. I understand the rooms are tight on space, but a mini fridge under the coffee station would have been perfect. A minor thing, and the only thing I can think of that would have improved the stay. I believe some of the rooms do have a fridge, and there is a communal fridge as well. It is pretty hot, and a nice cold bottle of something in your room is nice.
- Vusani (9/5): we waited long time at the gate without anyone come we made to wait 1hr and half to our displeasure , the communication - nice and quiet. environment, wildlife and safari tours nothing was wrong , everything was perfect
- Ndivhuwo (8/5): Very good -
- Marius (1/5): Bad -
- Roy (9/5): Superb - It was great to take a short break in the un-spoilt bushveld
The supper and the breakfast prepared by Charles was excellent
The staff were more than caring Unfortunately we were not able to stay long enough to find fault
