Telefonisch war er ebenfalls nicht - Die Lage und die Dachterrasse Die Unsauberkeit, ein Schrank, der nicht benutzbar war, weil sich darin Decken und Kissen stapelten, der total verschmutzte Kühlschrank, uraltes Geschirr und Töpfe usw., usw.

Easy to find, safe, quiet little street just off the pier and San Marco, in front of a great glass shop where we actually bought all our gifts for home. There’s a small square with a church around the corner with good restaurants, bars, a very good gelato spot. 2 big supermarkets nearby. Stunning terrace!! Booking pictures don’t do it justice! Master bedroom big and comfortable. second bedroom up some steep steps up, but also a comfortable sofa as an option in the living room, in case stairs are too much. Fully equipped kitchen, we cooked most of our breakfast /lunches at home and went out to the restaurants for dinners. Absolutely recommend this place! Lots of mosquitoes but that is a Venice thing! You can buy anti-mosquito plug ins in shops, or bring a repellent
• Zsolt (8/5): - The apartment has a full Venezian feel. The location is superb and the facilities fit the purpose in the most stylish way. The terrasse is amazing for taking an early morning coffee. One needs to prepare for noisy neighbours and mosquitoes but that's not the apartments fault.

• Mathemagia (4/5): Totale Abzocke, unhygienisch, und die Beschreibung trifft nicht zu. Nie wieder. - Das Appartement lebt von der Terrasse. Sehr schöner und ruhiger Innenhof. Im Inneren will man sich nämlich möglichst wenig aufhalten. Die Lage ist großartig. Das wars auch schon. Wenn man damit leben kann, dass viele Angaben zur Ausstattung nicht stimmen, und dass es total staubig-fettig-klebrig und miserabel ausgestattet ist, ist es in Ordnung. Ansonsten die totale Touristen Abzocke. Red flag... ausdrückliche Warnung für alle, die naiv glauben, was in der Beschreibung steht! Hygiene... Katastrophe. Wie schon in vielen Kommentaren erwähnt, ist es wirklich total ekelhaft, und ich bin kein Hygienefreak, aber es gibt Mindeststandards!! Fettige klebrige Pfannen, klebrige Oberflächen der Küchenkästen, seit Jahren nicht gereinigt, schmutziges Geschirr in den Schränken. Im Kühlschrank ein "Eisfach" das zu 90%mit Eis gefüllt ist wie eine Tropfsteinhöhle . Die Wohnung wird als ALLERGIKERFREUNDLICH bezeichnet, das ist ein Hohn ubd eine Verarschung, sorry für den Ausdruck, aber es ist so. Staubige behaarte Teppiche, schimmlige Dusche. Vor 20 Jahren wurde das letzte Mal gründlich gereinigt. Vielleicht. Backrohr nicht vorhanden. Als ich den Vermieter (oder wer immer der genervte Mann war, der uns hinein ließ) anschrieb, ob es Geschirrspüler Tabs gibt, kam die Antwort, ich kann welche im Supermarkt kaufen. Sehr witzig. 😞 Kein Geschirrtuch, keine Küchenrolle. Kein Nudelsieb. In einem Kommentar hier sagte jemand, die Waschmaschine habe keine Anleitung, und die Reaktion des Vermieters war ein höhnisches "Na dann schauen Sie vielleicht mal an der Innentür der Maschine" (Untertitel: Sie Blödmann, fragen Sie nicht so dumm)- ich habe nachgesehen: an der Innentür klebt ein Zettel, bei wie viel Grad man Buntwäsche und Kochwäsche waschen soll, das wars. Hilft nicht wirklich. wir haben nicht gewaschen, es gab ja auch für die Waschmaschine kein Waschmittel. Auf meine Anfrage, wie die Klimaanlage in der winzigen Dachkammer funktioniert, weil es nur 1 Fernbedienung gab, nämlich fürs Wohnzimmer, kam die Antwort, wir sollen lieber die Fenster öffnen. Ein Witz. Im unteren Schlafzimmer auch keine Klimaanlage, diejenigen im Wohnzimmer ist wohl 40 Jahre alt und kühlt kaum. Dass es extra lange Betten gibt, gehört auch in die Abteilung "Behauptungen über die Wohnung, die frei erfunden sind, damit sie einen Mehrwert hat".

• MARIA ANGELES (9/5): Apartamento amplio en una zona perfecta para visitar Venecia - Apartamento muy espacioso ubicado en el corazón del barrio de Castello, en Venecia. A cinco minutos andando de la Plaza de San Marcos y el Palacio Ducal y a dos minutos de varias paradas de vaporetto y de la laguna. El anfitrión vino en persona a entregarnos las llaves y explicarnos todo lo necesario y estuvo disponible por WhatsApp durante toda la estancia por si necesitábamos algo. Se trata de un apartamento en un segundo piso sin ascensor en un edificio junto al canal de Pleta, en San Zaccaria. Tiene un dormitorio con cama de matrimonio enorme, un salón con cocina, un baño grande y un dormitorio con dos camas en un nivel superior al que se accede por unas escaleras. Ente ambas plantas encontramos una bonita terraza en la que pasar un agradable rato de descanso o desayunar y cenar, ya que dispone de una mesa para cuatro personas. Nos alojamos con nuestros dos hijos adolescentes y estuvimos muy cómodos. No importa que no haya ascensor, es perfecto. Y está cerca de todos los monumentos y lugares de interés para ir andando. Y para desplazamientos fuera de la isla, como Murano y Burano, a un paso de los vaporettos. También a un paso de las paradas de góndolas y taxis acuáticos. La zona es tranquila por la noche. Descansamos fenomenal, sin ruidos ni molestias de ningún tipo. El mobiliario es antiguo, de hecho me recordaba al de la casa de mi abuela, pero cómodo. Podríamos llamarlo vintage. El apartamento es todo exterior, incluso el baño, por lo que hay muchas ventanas que abrir, especialmente en las noches de verano en que corre el aire fresco. Eso si, dada la cercanía de las aguas de los canales y la vegetación hay mosquitos (si abres las ventanas), por lo que aconsejo llevarse algún aparato antimosquitos, aunque no son de los que pican con demasiada virulencia. Nos volveríamos a alojar aquí. Aunque estuvimos muy cómodos, si eché en falta algún detalle como paños de cocina, que no había. Había muchos manteles para la mesa de comedor, pero no paños para secar el menaje. Haría falta también un poco más de orden en los armarios del menaje, que en algunos casos toca ya renovar. No hay productos de baño, solo papel higiénico. Pero esto no impidió que, como ya he dicho, disfrutáramos de la estancia y queramos repetirla.

Right in the heart of Venice - This location is just amazing, It is so quiet away from the hustle and bustle of all the noise and tourists. The charm and character is out of this world. The balcony is a bonus to sit outside and drink a glass of wine or coffee. I was really sad to leave this place. I give this a 10+ it doesn't get better than this for charm, location. Nothing! Everything was amazing

Fridge just about knocked you over with smell when first opened couldn’t put food in. Had to clean out fridge and disinfected before using, and air out apartment for smell after opening it and dishwasher which was had awful putrid water in the bottom, took two cycles to remove smell but hand washed dishes we wanted to use because it grossed us out. Kitchen had no toaster and could certainly be better equipped.

Unfortunately apartment needs a thorough clean, shower door was black at bottom, under beds thick of dust, fridge grubby, beds upstairs had sofa covers over mattresses. Cupboards had glasses, cups, pans and linen all thrown into draws, no organisstion, cutlery draw was full of crumbs,carpets needed a vacuum. such a shame as apartment had so much going for it

• Karen (8/5): Very good - The location is superb for guests who wish to explore the historical center and biennale, good value for money if you are staying with a family or group of 3 to 4. The whole apartment is full of dust, the sofa and bedding did not look clean either. The host's English is limited and he seemed a bit lost when it comes to managing the property and communication with guests.
• Denis (8/5): Very good - I was called 4 times from the airport by different hosts that changed the time they would be at the accommodation. This generated some stress. On the day of departure, we had agreed that we could leave our luggage a bit longer, then it was not possible anymore and there was nobody 45 minutes after the time we had agreed to meet to give the keys back. All the rest was fine.

The property is located near the San Zaccaria ferry terminal which made it easy to reach any area by boat. It is also walking distance from the St Mark’s square and many other attractions and restaurants. The property is charming with a wonderful balcony overlooking the surrounding gardens and buildings. The amenities could be a little more tourist friendly. For example there is an iron, but no ironing board. We could not find any dish clothes to dry our dishes. It was a little dusty in places.

• John (7/5): Good - The two bedroom apartment is located on the third floor in a private apartment block. It is a great location with access to the water bus and shops cafes and restaurants are all within a 5-10 min walk. The location is fantastic! A great supply of towels for us as it was super hot we showered twice a day. So it was wonderful to have a supply of towels. The pillows were fresh and expensive and of a super high quality. Spacious bathroom and added bonus of an outdoor terrace. The second bedroom which has two single beds is a death trap to go up and down. The angle of the ladder is very taxing to climb up and try not to fall down every time you leave the bedroom The air-con in the down downstairs living area is very poor. It did not give us a cool down after a days walking in 37 degree heat. This system needs attention such as replacing or a service. The aircon upstairs was sufficient in the small space. Shower could be better in terms of temperature control.
• Steffi (9/5): Excellent location, splendid apartment, very welcoming host and local support. - The wonderful apartment is excellently located, with a little terrace that provides a view over the roofs and green gardens (!) in the neighborhood. Our host was very helpful, friendly and relaxed. During the extremely hot July-days, the (promised) air-condition was insufficient - the room upstairs was cool enough, but the (parent) bedroom downstairs almost unbearable. So we rather recommend the apartment in spring or autumn ;)

Kitchen was NOT clean; dishes from previous renters were still in the dishwasher. There were no clean kitchen towels and dishwashing detergents . The washing machine had old water in it. The smell was horrible. I needed to clean the washing machine several times just to eliminate some of the odor out. Host was swift to respond and explained how to work the washing machine.

Very well equipped, we could find everything we needed for our stay. Close to San Marco square, but still in a quiet area. Nice terrace, it was such a pleasure to drink our coffee listerning to birds singing.Our host gave us all information and support we needed. Thank you Giorgio for such a nice stay. -

Perfect for a couple, would not do 2 couples but children OK. The lady who met us was delightful and gave us many tips regarding restaurants, gondola rides and art festival etc. We would use this accommodation again Mattresses could be improved but they didn't stop us from sleeping after all the walking. Quiet courtyard and veranda, you can hear the birds singing. Antique, interesting floor. Apartment in the spirit of Venice. Everything is fine.

• Catherine (10/5): Great location, near to historical sights, with bars, shops and restaurants on the doorstep. - Charming apartment in an excellent location, having the terrace to relax on after a busy day sightseeing or in the evening after a meal was a real bonus. The apartment has a lovely feel and character, the old beams and antique furniture create a wonderful atmosphere.

• Cora (8/5): Comfy apartment in great location - Great location close to everything, very quiet. Good kitchen with everything you need to cook. good bathroom. Good wifi. Washing machine did not work, tried to contact host several times and only got a response on our last day. . There is a manual for the machine in Italian but we did not see it till the last day. No soap provided in the bathroom. Would have been nice to have a little bar of soap to wash our hands. Stairs to the upstairs loft are very steep. Would not recommend for elderly people but for those 50 and younger it should be no problem. If you are counting on using the couch to sleep in, be sure to ask the host for sheets and blankets and pillows
• Jennifer (7/5): Overall we had a very enjoyable stay. The location was what made it for us! - We arrived early and although the number we were originally given was for someone who was not in Venice that day, he gave us another number and the person responded and actually let us in a little early. The apartment is in an excellent location and the outside area is a real bonus. The accommodation is spacious and well equipped. The air con was great. The owner was very responsive. Unfortunately when we arrived we found that the dishwasher had dishes in it which must have been missed by the cleaner as it looked as if they had been cleaned but had been left in there for some time so had mould on them. We contacted the owner out of courtesy and he did apologise. The stairs to the twin room are very steep and staggered half steps with a rope handrail so not ideal for everyone but not a problem or us. There was no soap in the bathroom/sinks.
