- X342VJspencerh (10/5): The Kind of Stay That Makes You Extend Another Night - I came for a one night staycation and ended up staying two nights because it was so enjoyable. The rooms are spacious, quiet, full of beautiful natural light, and the bathrooms are gorgeous. The best part, though, was the staff. Big shoutout to Andy, who went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable, as well as Lawrence at the front desk, Chelsea, and Vivian, who were all wonderful. The breakfast burrito was unbelievably delicious, and thank you to Juan and Gerardo for the stellar service. As someone who works in hospitality, I know great service when I experience it, and this team is doing it right. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and I truly appreciated the hospitality.

- Jody (3/5): - Location great Dirty towels on bathroom sink upon check-in. Got moved to a clean room which was better. BUT I WAS CHARGED FOR BOTH ROOMS . THE ORiGINAL ROOM was PREPAID. WHEN QUESTIONED I was told my card would be credited as soon as I checked out. LIES....I WAS CHARGED AND THEN CHARGED A 3RD TIME THE NEXT DAY. This was a total of 3 room charges. Guest services said a supervisor would call me back within 2 hrs. LIES! Thank God my bank worked with me. I had to file a claim with my bank and prove the room had been paid for in advance. What a headache. PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR CHARGES. Also my sister had issues with valet charges on her bill. Watch these folks.

- Moates (8/5): - Breakfast was good, the room was really nice, overall everything was great. The second night of our stay an alarm started going off around 3am. The phone in our room didn't work so I had to use my cellphone to call the front desk and alert them. I'm not sure the lady understood me because it took me a couple of tries to tell her there was an alarm on our floor. A couple times she said she couldn't speak to me about other guests and I had to reassure her that isn't what I was asking. She said she would send security and five minutes later the alarm went off. No follow up call or anything from the hotel, was more or less a "that sucks you got woke up at 3am but you'll be fine."

- I8302LNroberth (10/5): One of the Best Hotels in LA - Normally restaurants in hotels are mediocre, but this one is excellent. The service is exceptional and the food is wonderful. The breakfast is cooked to order and dinner was out of this world. The always friendly staff went the extra mile to enhance our stay. Valet parking is a must have in this downtown LA location, it is expensive but they are on the ball. The room has an excellent view and maid service is top notch. If your destination is USC, it is 10 minutes away. If you’re a Diamond member prepare to be pampered. If you come to LA stay here you won’t regret it.

- Navigator827198 (2/5): Unacceptable Room Condition - I've never had to leave a hotel because of how poor the room conditions were. The furniture was so worn out that it was completely unacceptable. We asked for a better room, but the two other rooms we were shown were in the same condition. The manager made no effort to resolve the issue and only offered to cancel our booking. We were very disappointed and decided to take the refund and leave.

From the convenience of its location to the five star quality of service, I valued every moment and was not at all disappointed with this decision to choose the property. Every public-facing room- lobby, bar and restaurant, private spaces for freshening up, elevators, roof top patio and pool were appealing, inviting, quiet, and secluded, all with a level of luxury in mind. Fine decor and the Great Gatsby-style vibe added to the awe of the hotel’s surroundings. Amenities were perfect for my getaway- I felt very safe, the room was a great spacious haven with comfortable bedding, fantastic seating areas, ample lighting, designer coffee maker, refrigerator, and very moisturizing products. Dining experiences were immaculate and delicious. Everything felt so luxurious without a very high price point. The staff truly took my rating over the top! Every member of the hotel’s customer care team that I interacted with, was nothing short of ideal. No one played a minor part in impressing me! (Front desk) Chelsea, Giuseppe, Alex, Viviana, Andy, Vince, (Valet) Catherine, (Bar) Brenda, (Restaurant) Camilla, Anthony and Gerson all helped make Hotel Indigo shine to me! 💫 Dear to my heart are Chelsea and Gerson who took very special steps to ensure that my experience was its most convenient, meaningful, and memorable! Hotel Indigo is an experience not to pass up!

- brianam584 (2/5): Unauthorized credit card charge 6 months after checkout — BEWARE - I want to warn fellow travelers about a deeply concerning experience with Hotel Indigo Los Angeles Downtown. I stayed at this property from September 9–11, 2025. My stay was uneventful, and I checked out with no issues. Then, on March 29, 2026 — more than six months later — I discovered a charge of $380.67 on my credit card from this hotel. I received no prior notification of any kind. No email, no phone call, no mailed invoice. The charge was made silently and without my authorization. What followed was even worse. I called the hotel and was promised a callback from accounting — never received. I sent two separate emails — both completely ignored. It took four contact attempts over several days before anyone acknowledged the situation. The charge was eventually refunded, but I was then promised a phone call from the General Manager to explain how and why this happened. That call has never come. As of today, I still have no explanation for what the charge was for, how it was processed, or why my credit card was used without my consent half a year after my stay. The only reason I recovered my money is because I happened to notice the charge on my statement and relentlessly pursued a resolution. The hotel made no effort whatsoever to notify me or resolve this on their own. I have since filed formal complaints with IHG Corporate Guest Relations, the California Attorney General's Office, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, and my credit card issuer. My advice to anyone considering this hotel: monitor your credit card statements closely — not just during your stay, but for months afterward. If this happened to me, it can happen to you. And unlike me, you might not catch it in time.

Andy was super helpful at the desk and was able to give us a room right away. He also gave some suggestions for things to do around the hotel. Room is spacious with a good view of the city. Bathroom is very big.

It’s $57 dollars per night, I spent 2 nights there and my total bill for valet came out to $206.74. Almost $100 dollars in extra fees
- leeannem801 (10/5): Quiet in the Midst of Chaos - Hotel Indigo welcomes the weary travelers with a calm, inviting environment in the center of the busiest part of LA - but once you step through the doors your guard comes down and you are welcomed with fresh brilliantly prepared food, delicious cocktails, and true hospitality. I was pleased with my spacious, airy room with floor to ceiling windows and even a window that opened for fresh air. When I couldn’t figure out how to close it- with three minutes- I kid you not- Frank arrived to show me how to release the lock. What service and with a kind smile. Everything feels easier and less stressful at Hotel Indigo. What a treat.

The atmosphere was warm, and the amenities made it easy to relax and truly enjoy our time. A big part of what made our stay so special was the incredible staff. The manager, Raymond, went above and beyond to make us feel right at home. His kindness and attention to detail didn’t go unnoticed—he genuinely cared about our experience and made sure everything was just right. Hugo, the bartender, was equally amazing. He did a fantastic job with the drinks—everything was delicious, and he was always attentive, making sure our cups were never empty. His friendly attitude added so much to the overall vibe and made our time even more enjoyable. Overall, it was an amazing experience at Hotel Indigo. The comfortable setting, combined with such attentive and friendly service, made this a day we won’t forget. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and welcoming stay.

The bathroom was very clean and well designed, however, the type of light switches took some getting used too. The one near the shower shut off in the middle of my shower. The makeup mirror in the bathroom looked slightly damaged and would not stay in the desired position.

I’ve been dining there a few times a month for the last five years and my experience has always been nothing short of perfection. The staff is incredibly kind and patient with their customers. To top it off, the food is impeccable. My husband and I always get a few appetizers and the MBK burger which is to die for. They always get the temperatures correct and we’ve never had issues with our meals. They’re very attentive and take care of their customers. I’d like to give a big shout out to Nancy, who has been our server during most of our dine in experiences! She’s the best of the best and truly has the kindest soul. She gives us great recommendations whenever we want to try a new item on the menu. She is truly a gem! Thank you team Metropole!! See you all very soon!

Was so grossed I left and wasted my reservation rather than stay there. Also be aware that the hotel will not upgrade your room, even when upgrades are available, bc they will give some excuse abt certain rooms being premium rooms. In sum, terrible service, terrible room, terrible experience. You couldn’t pay me to set foot here again.

What happened next was theeee best birthday social EVERRR! HUGE THANK YOU TO 18 SOCIAL especially SAUL, TONY AND RAYMOND FOR BEING SOOO PROFESSIONAL AND FUN AND PERSONAL AND INVITING! I’ve been staying here for a couple nights and I’ve stayed here previously and always loved the hotel. It’s agreat property in your staff seems to be strong. In particular, I have to compliment. The staff that is in a restaurant. The host is excellent. worked with him several nights and he’s always there to solve problems. Nancy, your waiter is phenomenal. Sparkling personality super helpful with suggestions and courteousin a warm smile. You cannot do better than your current crew in the front of the house. Your food your food was also delicious and I’ve eaten here two or three times plus breakfast.
