Once we got off the elevator towards the room it smelled kind of musky. Bed was comfortable and i appreciated that there were no carpet in the room. However, our bed cover had faint stains and our pillows had no covers. We only rented for one night because we were attending a family function. Since we arrived late to the room and we were exhausted, we didn’t realize the stains and missing pillow cases until we woke up this morning. It wasn’t the worst experience, but it was the best.

Despite the long turn off from the main road, it was close to everything. The staff has poor customer service (with the exception of a black American lady who was very helpful and nice). Young girl at the front desk needed to finish up her phone chat before acknowledging me at check in. The room was also dirty.

Trashcans near elevators were disgusting covered in food and overflowing. Food and paper on floors in front of our room for 5 days- guess they don’t have housekeeping?There was one lovely staff member that was so sweet and bright and cheerful but the rest clearly hate what they do. Poorly managed and not what I expected from a holiday inn.

There was renovations going on and we were made aware ahead of time. So this was overlooked. The air conditioning unit in the room was a bit stagnant on when it would get cold vs warm. Took into consideration of the outdoors temperature so no complaints. Otherwise there wasn't anything out of the ordinary that i didn't like or wasn't told about.

• Vanessa Blake (1/5): Never will I stay at this Holiday Inn Express again. Wherever I travel, I usually stay in a Holiday Inn Express and all - Nothing at all. This property was dirty and disgusting g from the elevator to the room. The elevator had numerous amounts of finger prints and was never wiped and cleaned, the floors were filthy and not vacuumed, there was trash bags with trash sitting in the hallway going to the room. When I got into the room the floors were not swept and the floors were nasty and had not been mopped. The floors were so dirty I didn’t want to walk on the floor even with shoes on. The microwave is dirty. I spent four nights here and all of the issues I mentioned are still not taken care of. I will be contacting corporate. I have pictures and zi took a video. The toilet was overflowing and I was told by front desk that I had to come down and get a u get and plunge the toilet myself and that’s what I did. This morning there were no towels and I was told that the washing machine broke and the staff would have to take the dirty towels to a laundromat to wash them. I have two videos I took but it will only let me leave photos. Everything was horrible except the breakfast and kitchen. The ladies who were working in the kitchen were fantastic. The kitchen was very clean.

The staff was super friendly and Helpful. We decided to stay an extra night and it was the best thing we could’ve done. We loved the breakfast in the morning. Rooms were super clean and spacious. I would definitely choose this place again. A+

It most certainly was not and the AC was clearly broken. The hallways were muggy and our room was stuffy. The shower drain was clogged, probably because construction workers washed debris down the drain. The one good thing about this place was the breakfast. The food tasted pretty good, however it was all cold.

The breakfast lady did nothing but complain and felt was no food for them she had to tell several guests there food for and that the people before them ate too much. The second employee, a reception clerk, literally had her car parked at the drive-up awning all day instead of letting guests pull up to check in. The third employee had to be woken up when we were checking out early morning.
