Guest Reviews
- Robin (10/5): - Everything was excellent. I wish there was more food choices in the area, but that's not the motels responsibility.
- Robert (10/5): - Good
- James (6/5): - Clean, but walls were concrete block like a prison cell, and there was a thin door to the next room so I could hear everything the person was doing
- Ronald (10/5): - It was a great place
- Strictly (10/5): - Good staying!! Very clean
- Jessica (10/5): Great place to stay - I have stayed at this hotel a few times now for work and I can’t speak highly enough. From management to the actual room, I have nothing but great experiences. My only regret is that I didn’t stay here sooner! Highly recommend!
- Melvin (10/5): - Close to the River
- Michael (10/5): - Older property, but very well taken care of
- Robin (10/5): - The water pressure in the shiwer is excellent.
- STANLEY (8/5): Okay stay - Room was bear minimum. No microwave or closet but did have fridge. Bedding was old. Room appeared clean. Nothing else close so had to stay there
- Robin (8/5): - Room heater in room 134 seens to need a repair. Very noisy.
- Kristie (10/5): Enjoyed the stay - Room was clean, people were friendly, customer service was amazing. No complaints other than the pillows but we travel with our own so not a problem.
- Jesse (10/5): - Very clean. Basic but that’s all you need.
- sharlene (10/5): - Clean, a little out dated, but there were no bugs. The room was clean, the parking lot was clean, all in all, good hotel. Rates were ok.
- Landon (10/5): - Great experience
- Robin (8/5): - The only thing that git my attention was the noise of the air conditioner. But after one night it actually became a white noise.
- Philippe (8/5): - Clean basic motel room so nothing fancy. Priced appropriately for what you get.
- Robert (8/5): Clean, older motel. - Older motel, but very clean rooms. Beds were comfortable. Located next to McDonald's.
- Brian (8/5): - Office help was great
- Jennifer (10/5): - The room is very clean.the staff super nice.
- JEFFERY (6/5): Budget friendly. - Reasonable price. No frills. Older motel with new renovations. Clean but spartan with minimal creature comfort.
- William (10/5): - Reasonable rate clean. Close to my event.
- Jojac (10/5): Clean and comfortable - Not luxurious by any stretch but extremely clean and well cared for.
- CAROLYN (8/5): Too much noise and gaming - The front desk clerks were very friendly. We were in room 112 on January 9th and my bed only had 2 pillows which seemed flatter than usual, so it was difficult for me to get comfortable. The worst part was being next door to some young guys playing video games all night, so we couldn't get to sleep until after 1 am, because they were very noisy.
- Matt (10/5): - Check in was easy. Courteous. We were able to check in early which was a great bonus!
- Chris (10/5): - Probably the cleanest hotel room I have ever been in
- DONNY (8/5): - We found the room to be pretty old, but very up to date in plumbing and lighting fixtures. The mattress is 2 star standard, but overall I would say not bad and would happily stay there again. Both the occasional chair and the desk chair were very comfortable.
- James (10/5): - Straight forward Modern And a good value
- Terry (8/5): - Window sill full of dead bugs and shower plumbing doesn’t work properly
- Carolyn (10/5): - The manager was extremely professional and polite. Room was clean nicely. Would like to have had a coffeemaker and complimentary coffee packages in room.
- Jeffrey (10/5): - we found the room to be extremely clean. the shower was a 10, clean lots of water pressure and tons of HOT water. the staff was very polite and nice. not a frills place but clean, very clean.
- Patricia (10/5): Friendly service - It was very good.
- Jessica (8/5): - Friendly staff and close to where I was going.
- Gary (10/5): - The property is older but kept up nicely.
- William (10/5): Good stay - Not fancy but clean and comfortable.
- Amanda (10/5): - Nice and quite, clean rooms nicely decorated
- Roy (10/5): - It was a positive experience. I would stay there again.
- Verified traveler (4/5): You get what you pay for. - It was alright. You get what you pay for. The scent of the cleaning products was overbearing and the blankets were super itchy. They charged me $10 extra per person which I found insane. I only needed the room to nap while driving across country. Was there less than 8 hours. The room was clean. Very bare and plain. They had signs everywhere- no visitors; no refunds. Wasn’t very welcome. The area was load and down the road from a jail. It was super noisy. Ambulances, trucks driving by all night. The heater sounded like a truck starting every time it went on. I would have been better off sleeping in my truck.
- Yoquanda (8/5): - Ok stay
- Josh (10/5): - Clean and spacious. Traveling writers might gather inspiration from an overnight stay. Location is close to rich Tennessee history and breathtaking performances by nature. Smoking room did not have stagnant air. This was my experience
- sara (10/5): - friendly people clean rooms good price
- Sheila (6/5): - My fiance took this trip as I had to work. They upgraded him from a double to a king size and charged him $17 more. Showed as same price on Hotels.com. Bed was hard and his room was next to McDonald's and the traffic kept him awake. Toiletries were slim. No frills motel.
- Catrina (2/5): - We ended up bringing 2 extra people with us. Had to pay extea. I didn’t mind paying extra but it was much more than their policy online stated. Clerk insisted I pay it in cash when I handed him my card. Then Expedia called and asked for more money because he reported it and said I didn’t pay. Asked for a receipt as proof and he gave me a hand written sticky note. I’ll definitely be keeping an eye on my account!
- Lynn (10/5): - No frills, but very clean and priced extremely reasonable. ONLY suggestion/complaint is the bath amenities. Too small soap and shampoo. Everything else was great.
- Kristen (4/5): Would not recommend - The check in process was terrible. I had paid and booked online through Hotels.com. I rang the bell and a man came and motioned me to the night window. (It was around 10:00 pm) Not only could I not hear him through the glass, there was also a language barrier and he was very condescending toward me. He asked for my credit card and I explained I had already paid so he proceeded to tell me if I tore anything up in the room it would cost me not him and Hotels.com wouldn’t pay for damages. He asked me twice if I had a dog. I did not — just a husband. We are in our fifties, were there for a funeral and don’t go around trashing hotels. He provided poor customer service and was just simply rude. The motel is old and dated but appeared to be fairly clean. The basics were in the room such as soap, towels, toilet paper, hair dryer, microwave, fridge and a coffee maker; however, the coffee maker still had the last customer’s old coffee still in the strainer. The shower didn’t work because the fixture was loose on the wall and the wall behind it was rotten.
- Luz (10/5): Carthage stay - Very comfortable. Pretty view. Greenery everywhere
- Donald (10/5): Highly Recommend this hotel!! - Fast hassle free check in. Friendly staff. Room was clean, did not have that "hotel" smell like some Ive stayed at., bed was comfortable. Right by the main road but noise from traffic was not heard in the room.
Would def stay here again!
Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.
- GARY (10/5): Was Impressed - The room was neat and clean with good housekeeping service and located in a small quiet town with no traffic hassles and McDonalds across the side street. Was impressed!! Would recommend.
- Eleanor (10/5): - I liked being able to park in front of my room, Not crazy about the speed bumps in front of the office.
- Micheal (10/5): - Pleasant stay.
- Daniel (10/5): - Excellent bed, shower with pressure and very hot water. Big room, quiet area, new TV, renovated room. McDonald's next door.
I'll recommended to anyone.
- Bennie (10/5): SQUEEKY CLEAN, COMFORTABLE!! HIGHLY recommended!! - This hotel was AMAZING!! Check in was quick and the staff was incredibly nice, even offering to help carry my bag in!! The room was VERY clean, every thing updated and nice decor. I was really surprised at how nice it was!! The only drawback is the bed was a king, and it was on a steel frame with coils. It squeeked every time you rolled over, BUT the bed was comfortable, and I had a very good nights rest. Convinient to several restuarants, McDonalds basically in the parking lot!! I highly recommend!!
- Danilo (10/5): - From the desk service until the clean room everything was excellent.
- Jeannette A (10/5): - The staff were great, great food near by, clean and comfy rooms. Easy to get to.
- Mark (6/5): -
Better than most motels that begin with "Budget" .
You can stay here. Don't be afraid.
Don't ask for room 13.
- Verified traveler (2/5): FURIOUS!!!!!! - The guy at the counter gave me hell from the moment he came to the window. He denied giving me the room after it had already paid for it only because my 17 year old daughter's plans changed so she came with me and when i got the room earlier that day i just put 1 person not 2!!! Needless to say i didn't stay and he refused to refund my money
- Elizabeth (8/5): - Comfortable, clean, and well-maintained. Nothing fancy but a solid affordable road-trip stop.
- Garry (8/5): - Very tight parking was only given bare minimum room amenities tv sucked
- Tressa (8/5): Clean comfy country motel. - I was really surprised it had a fair rating. We came to this area and could not find a hotel that had an opening. So we chose it out of desperation. I was totally surprised, it was very comfortable and very clean. We booked it coming and going. The couple who run this small Motel were very nice. It had everything we needed. Also, as I was pulling away I noticed she had the shower curtain from the next room with all the linens!
I
- Amanda (10/5): - Friendly service
- Deborah (10/5): - It was pretty good. A little bit noisy
- Kevin (2/5): Neglect of service, neglect of responsibility. - Horrible in terms of experience and service. Arrived at 3am for a one night stay that clearly stated check out was at 11am. Was given an un requested "wake up call" from a construction company on Sunday at 8 AM. All you have to know is, 'I can't do anything about it", and "I can't give my bosses name or contact information to you" is how it was
handled. No I wasn't rude, yes I am white. Yes I believe in God, yes Sunday is the Sabbath. Yes this was negligence from the staff to clearly address a simple inconvenience of their service for my stay. The "early in the day, it is cooler, so they start early" doesn't consider me to squats.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Check in staff member not professional at all and rude.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - It was nice
- Larry (10/5): - Very nice town. Good hotel for the price.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Very clean, neat place. The staff was nice. Bed was not very comfortable. Location was good.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Small motel with average sized room, small bathroom, mini-fridge, and excellent TV and AC systems. Next-door to McDonald's for quick food. No coffee maker or micro-wave oven. Along busy highway with occasional vehicle noise.
- Marta (8/5): Very Nice - The room was nice, spacious and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful, it was a nice place to stay!
- Kaylee (8/5): Ehhhh - The room was relatively nice for the price. But the person who checked us in was very rude and seemed to be in a rush at 10 o’clock at night.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Affordable and very clean. Check in and check out easy.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - I didn't expect much. It was clean. The bad things were the mattress and towels. The mattress was too firm. I felt beat up after sleeping. The towels were cheap and the quality I would use in a garage. Come On Man!
- John (8/5): A decent place to crash for the night. - Decent place to crash for the night. It was quiet on a Sunday night. $20 more expensive than the Motel 6s, but smelled better.
- James (10/5): Very nice stay - The room was nice. The beds were comfortable but bring your own pillow because the pillows there are very small. Very pleased with the cleanliness of the room.
- maura (10/5): - Seems like a nice family run place. Check in was great, the location was really quiet. I was worried with how busy the road it's on sounded, but being in a small town meant that in the evening everything was super quiet. Comfortable bed, room was very clean. We would certainly stay again!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Near restaurants and grocery store. Walkable as well.
- Zoe (10/5): Very pleased - This is an older motel with all new renovations. It's so worth the price. Its clean, the staff is so friendly. You can see how hard they try to keep it up. My room was awesome. My room was spacious,, had a desk, chest of drawers, microwave, fridge, chair, bed side tables, plenty of convenient outlets for my laptop. It's just a great space for the money
- Ginny (2/5): - Clean bedding and room but smelled of smoke because of adjoining rooms. Thin walls and next door occupants loud until midnight. Traffic noise is loud. No pets sign at lobby but this was NOT listed on description on booking. They did allow our service dog with papers. Charged extra for third person in a 4 person room! 2 queen beds!
- Bart (4/5): - The gentleman behind the counter that assisted me was very in-depth at his job, looked down and mumbled when trying to talk to me and I had to have him repeat what he was saying multiple times because of the accent combined with mumbling.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Decent value in an area with few hotels. No breakfast, but try the Rojas diner in town.
- Lalit (4/5): - I was disappointed on 9th i paid for room but when i went to the budget inn no one is there i know that foor and i called them 8 times nobody pick up my calls and i called to the expedia customers they also tried several times to call them but no one response ..it was very bad and disappointing things there is no hospitality..after waiting outside for 1 hour ...one guy came out and he started making drama..he said one one call me ..i called him 8 times and expedia customer girl called him 10 times then. Still he is lying .that guy is terrible .when i woke up at the morning someone scratched my cars which is terrible ! These inn is not good not safe to stay here ..
- Selina (2/5): Worst hotel experience EVER - I walked in at 5 pm to check in. After waiting in the lobby for a couple of minutes the guy comes to the room. I advised him that I was there to check in. He proceeded to get my name and the first thing he said is “Where have you been I canceled your reservation. You didn’t check in by 1 pm so I canceled your room”. Rudest person I’ve ever spoke to. My expiration date had expired on my credit card so I had to send my boyfriend to get my card. The person at the counter would not even allow me to stand inside the lobby. He said would you stand outside until he returns. HORRIBLE STAY AWAY. We went to Lebanon and had a much better room and service
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Fantastic customer service. The owner is a great dude that seems to really care about his properties.
- Barry (8/5): good - very good
- Leonardo (8/5): - Clean and convenient. I appreciate the availability of smoking rooms and this place is always clean.
