- Mary (10/5): - We love staying here at Bear Creek Cabins so much, this was our fourth stay as a couple. It’s a beautiful place and the cabins are unique and rustic. We say don’t miss out. Arrive before dark, because your first time, the property is best negotiated in daylight. Put wood orders for the chimneys in early each day, they can run out. Pick a cabin with a kitchenette if you want to cook, or not if you don’t. Just don’t miss out. And I’d really like to keep it a secret, but I truly want others to benefit from the relaxation this place brings!

The porch off the bedroom is built into a tree so it was like a tree house and the birds were all around. Fantastic spot. Total gem. The location in Gila National Forest was perfect!! Cliff dwellings, Grapevine hikes are in the area. Then off to Catwalk. I had everything I needed. Comfortable and plenty of space. I'd stay here again 100%.

We were allowed to bring our dog for an additional cost and purchase firewood on site for a cozy fire in the rock fireplace on a snowy day. We stayed three nights and enjoyed visiting Silver City and the surroundings Gila National Park. It’s just far enough out of town to feel like you are in the country. The grounds are pleasant with pines all around. The cabin is unique with nice log accents. The kitchen is moderately stocked but if you are planning on making meals, you might want to bring some cooking pots. Stairs to the bedrooms are steep.

The patio was a favorite to animal watch, lots of birds and squirrels! It is a half mile from the old opera house and saloon, a great place to have a cocktail and a delicious dinner, reservations recommended because it gets busy!

- Brian (10/5): - The Bear Creek cabins are unique and a great place to stay. Tucked in amongst the tall pines of Pinos Altos, New Mexico, they allow you to be one with nature. Deer wander through the property along with woodpeckers in the trees. It is awesome!

Extras needed items could be purchased at the office. Our cabin was clean and provided a King bed, full bath, microwave, small refrig, coffee pot, plates/utensils for two, and wine glasses. They also provided an eco friendly log for the fireplace which made the stay perfect.
- Marie (10/5): Beautiful Peaceful Experience! - We stayed at the Bear Creek Cabins during our stay in Silver City. Once you enter the cabin, you Immediately feel relaxed. We stayed in cabin B. We sat in the balcony off the bedroom to have our dinner. The balcony overlooks the Beautiful Pine trees. You feel a deep sense of peace and harmony. In the bedroom, there is a skylight Where you can see the birds flying by. There is a fireplace downstairs with a sofa that reclines. Overall, the cabins are a Beautiful peaceful experience.

Wonderful place to stay so quiet and the Buckhorn is a great place to eat Just a couple of suggestions. I like tea but no kettle. Also it was cold in February so a rug on the living area floor would be cosy But cannot recommend this place highly enough The staff were friendly and welcoming too

The one thing from the reviews that I found helped our expectations was knowing there are narrow stairs leading to the upstairs bedroom. It was great to come in with that expectation. Everything else was so beautiful. The dog run is unique, too. The dogs loved it!!!

Great porches and balcony in the trees! Cool picnic table, fireplace, bbq grill and plenty of space outside. Well run with the family operated touch!

- Laureen (8/5): - This was an almost perfect stay. The design and place are beautiful! Wonderful decor, atmosphere; like glamping, or being in a gorgeous tree house! Staff were wonderful. The only concern is that the outlets are very outdated; many did not hold whatever you plugged in. I think they need an overhaul as it's an electrical concern. And our hairdryer didn't work--real bummer. I only needed it the last day, but could not get staff because the office isn't open till 9 am and we left at 8 am. 9 am is pretty late. Otherwise great stay and I highly recommend!

The only thing I recommend is to get rid of the shag carpeting upstairs. It was kind of old. Other than that this place is really great.

- Verified traveler (6/5): Bear Creek Motel and Rustic Cabins - Bear Creek Motel and Cabins are fine. It is important to note that they are RUSTIC. The pictures are slightly deceiving; however, I should point out that the staff were very friendly. The cabin we had was perfectly serviceable, but extremely dated. Two bedroom is a stretch, but it did have two beds. I don't want to diss on these folks, but know if you're staying there these are extremely RUSTIC cabins.

Housekeeping staff are really nice too. Office staff were very helpfull. We love staying here and didn't want to leave. A great get away that's not far for us to drive from Cochise County,Az. Bathroom is a little small but has everything you need and set up well for the size..plenty of hot water. Each unit has its own hot water heater.

- Mary (8/5): Cozy Cabin In the Trees - Cabin #4 has a very good king bed upstairs, bathroom, comfy sofa, and good flatscreen TV downstairs. Plenty of hot water for shower or bath. Kitchen was a bit too “spare” for anything more than cereal or toast for breakfast, but there is a barbecue available outside for dinners. Small fridge with no freezer. Wifi was weak, but office provided us with a free Verizon jetpack that worked great.

- James (10/5): - We stayed here Feb. 22 - 24, really enjoyed the peace and quiet, the scenery, and the condition of the cabins. Comfortable king-sized bed and amazing patio right off the 2nd floor bedroom.
