- Maximilian (6/5): - Its location is fantastic, walking distance from food, entertainment and public transport. It does take some time if coming from the airport. It is very nationalistic, and my air-con just blew the air around without cooling it much.
- Brett (2/5): - The picture they use in their advertisement must be from the first day they opened thirty years ago? The place was dirty and shabby and worn out and due to the late hour of our arrival we decided we would stay and get an upgrade in the morning, also it was Christmas and all the other hotels were at maximum capacity and charging double rates due to the holiday. We were given a closet sized room that stunk of mold and the elevator was right next to the room. After going out in the morning and finding that every hotel was booked and there were still bus loads of people coming and going we realized we were screwed unless we wanted to pay double or triple our expected budget. We asked this hotel for an upgrade and were told that "due to the holiday" yadda yadda yadda, that it would be difficult but after a little negotiation a number was agreed to and we paid and additional amount of 45 ringlet? for the two days stay. We were shown a room with an actual window, You know like the picture in the add but only thirty years older? It was bigger and had a window was the only thing I can say was an improvement as there was an airplane turbo fan outside the window that roared 24/7. We stayed only because trying to find another room elsewhere would have cost us double or triple our budgeted stay. To say it was a good stay in KL would be an exaggeration. To be honest I have done a lot of traveling and have NEVER had such a bad experience in my 65 years. I will never go to KL again.
- Yong Boon (4/5): - Cleanliness is a big issue and housekeeping is zero even for 3 nights stay. Must inform for cleaning which is understandable but not always have personnel at counter to informed. Early check in is chargeable even with multiple rooms available, with such rate, we should have more service. Free breakfast is unclear reason and has to resort to settle on own. At night, air con off by itself as well as tap start run full blast with no reasons at all. Room was not clean with bad odour and felt breathless and paralysed during sleeping due to supernatural reason. Overall an extremely horrifying stay and will not return again due to the supernatural reasons and cleanliness. For the brave only.
- JennySoegiarto (10/5): Good for budget concern - Recommended by a friend if I wanted to stay at the small and simple hotel at Sunway City area. So, i tried this hotel. Room was okay, everything worked well. Staff was also nice and they informed everything thru WA and i found this helpful. But I think it is better to book room only instead of having breakfast included. The option for bfast was so poor.

- Shafee (10/5): Affordable price - Arrive late around 1am and the check in was smooth. When enter the room, the smell was good though. And then the Tv remote problem, call the reception he came and solvedđź‘Ť Aircond also good. Got free breakfast @ kedai mamak below the hotel. The best thing was this hotel got lift. Overall is a worthful stay with the price you paid.

- Billydl (6/5): Budget hotel - I was with a group that had come KL to join an U22 Bowling Tournament in Sunway Mega Lanes and selected this hotel as it was just across the bowling center. Hotel staff were friendly and free breakfast was in a 24 hr restaurant just beside the hotel. Rooms were small but expected this being a budget hotel. Rooms were cleaned/serviced daily but in 4 out of the 6 days of my stay the foot towels were dirty and had lots of hair in them.

If you are using 2day fun pass this is the place to stay. Clean rooms, clean bathroom, friendly/ kind/ helpful staff. Breakfast is satisfactory. Sunway Pyramid Shopping mall is just infront. Highly recommended.

- Verified traveler (8/5): Reasonable - Really close to sunway pyramid, like REALLY CLOSE The room I stayed in had stained walls, boo on the previous tenants who dirtied it up :( Stained walls aren't easy to clean I had a single room, so it wall small and compact, the toilet was almost the same size as thee bedroom tho, so it was a comfortable shower space Vinyl floor, not cold to the touch even with the AC on, so you don't need indoor footwear Check in was a bit slow, the staff was having some casual chit chat very loudly until the reception had to shush them, which was very responsible of him :) All in all, it was nice :)

- cynsync21 (6/5): An Okay Hotel - We stayed at a family room (1 queen size and 1 single bed), everything is just alright. Walls are thin so you can hear outsider talk/stomp/walk. Breakfast is ok too, liked their egg prata. My only complaint is just that the bathroom glass that prevents shower to leak is so short, that it doest serve the purpose. Also the second day i stay there the tv had no channels. Wifi is great but towards 6 PM and on it was very slow.

Overall the hotel's facility are so so, the hotel towel and hotel pillow case are not hygiene. The staff are not really friendly and never allow customer for early check in or extend the check out hour although for a regular customer.

Don’t too much expect for the free breakfast. The breakfast is locate in the downstairs to eat the mamak shop. The breakfast budget is only WITHIN RM5! For my own review. Receptionist on duty @3rd Aug 630pm should polish up on her customer service skills. Surrounding area is good with a lot of eateries and mall just opposite. There are better hotels (artisan eco hotel) than GM in that area.

The towels provided looked very worn out. The hotel does provide limited choices of breakfast at the restaurant below. Convenient location as it is just directly opposite Sunway Pyramid hotel.

Couldn’t really get enough sleep due to noisy people outside and also the noise from exhaust fan from the restaurant downstairs. It can be noisy at times especially during the night where groove from nearby clubs vibrates your room window. Room is clean and cosy but there's a spot of leakage on the ceiling.

- JEN (6/5): NICE HOTEL NEAR SUNWAY LAGOON SURF BEACH ENTRANCE. - GOOD TO STAY IF YOU ARE GOING TO SUNWAY LAGOON BECAUSE IT'S ONLY IN THE FRONT BUT THE STAFF DON'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THE SURROUNDINGS. THERE IS NO STAIRCASE IN THE HOTEL SO YOU NEED TO WAIT FOR THE LIFT WHICH IS VERY SLOW. IF YOU DON'T MIND TO WAIT, I THINK IT SHOULD BE FINE.
- yi (6/5): Great location just right to Sunway Pyramid - The location is really good and easily accessible to Sunway Pyramid mall and foods. The room is really small, while the bathroom is quite spacious. When I flipped over the blanket, I saw strands of tiny baby hair on the bed. There'r ants climbing on the bed too. The noise insulation is quite weak. No instant coffee nor teabag is provided. The toiletries include a small bottle of shampoo, soap bar, toothbrush and toothpaste. I didn't notice any shower gel. I was told by the hotel staff that my breakfast voucher can be used as RM5 discount voucher at the restaurant if I order anything in the menu instead of the breakfast set. However, when I talked to the waiter in the restaurant, he said no and asked me to order from the list of set menu only. It's kind of difficult to communicate with the restaurant waiter using English. After some negotiation, I ended up to reduce one of my roti canai to upgrade my coffee/tea to iced milo.

Bed is hard, TV programmes limited, no mini fridge, hair dryer that needs to recharge every secs of blowing my hair. But for the cheap price it comes with breakfast and is conveniently situated just opposite Sunway Pyramid.

- ruwantha_lakshan (8/5): Good place for a budget stay closer to Sunway Lagoon - If you are looking for a place to stay closer to Sunway Lagoon, consider this hotel. 300m away from the lagoon and rooms are also nice with free wifi. However hotel gives free breakfast which does not encourage me to have again. Just in front of the hotel there is a burger lorry at night which serves huge and tasty burgers even after midnight.

- Verified traveler (6/5): The staff is not friendly and a bit rude. - The staff is not friendly and a bit rude when I called for inquiry. I have book few rooms and 1 room have cockroach.
- ana3939 (8/5): overall quit good. - its just located beside sunway pyramid, easy to access shopping mall, nearby got lotsss of foods. They have free breakfast next to the hotel which is mamak restaurant but the breakfast was cold, waitress not friendly. One of the Malay reception at front desk wasn't friendly. but the cleaner aunty is friendly, she even spook to me. they have tv ,dryer, toothbrush, anything, the toilet paper smell weird, the bed sheet got dirty stain,but its ok for me seems its white in colour, can understand that its hard to wash off the dirts sometimes. hmm.. overall, good location, good stay.
- jason_nts777 (2/5): Unfriendly receptionist - This is the first and the last time. Went in early but the reception says 2pm...so went to sunway for a walk...came back at 2pm , still dont have a room....waited for half an hour still no room...and the receptionist gave me an attitude despite my frustration. Pls train your staff.
- kiingsays (4/5): 2nd Visit. - Here comes my review. It's my 2nd time living in this hotel. Previously around February 2016, I was living at room 302 - Superior Family room. I love the room environment, very clean, it's big enough to live for around 4-5 people. Highly recommended. Highly satisfied. Yes. However, as I didn't made advance booking (December, 2016) so I have no other choice to try out the Family room, which is Room 315 with a 1 single bed and 1 queen bed. Which is located at the end corner. I got highly dissappointed. At first when I enter the room, my first thought was, "Okay... it's a bit stuffy and it kind have this smells coming from the kitchen." Smells of those foods being fried. I put on a second thought perhaps because the AC wasn't on. So, I turned on the AC and try to live there for a night. Honestly, it got worst. I felt so sick because the smell didn't go off even when the AC's on and the room got stuffy and I can feel the smell got thicker. It's like what you will have after you are done eating in a bbq restaurant. It feels sticky. I made a complain the the staff, and yes they have received so many complains regarding the room. I believe the room I was living needs some kind of a ventillation fan or something. Well, I don't know. They gotta figure that out how to fix it (?). Please do take note, one of the receptionist isn't friendly at all.
