- Eric (10/5): I very much enjoyed my stay at hotel Sea Shell and would definitely stay here again. - The included breakfast alternated between American and Japanese style and was excellent. The location was on mountainous terrain and had beautiful views of the ocean/ beach and surrounding neighborhoods. Very clean resort and comfortable. There is Shirahama shrine nearby and is gorgeous.Thanks to Takashi and staff were superb in everything they did (especially breakfast)

Each room is slightly different, I stayed in Asuka which had a classic nautical vibe which I loved. Great views and a delightful outdoor shower/bath. The two spas onsite were a lovely experience at the end of the day. Oh and the breakfast was amazing! Nothing

- Verified traveler (10/5): Lovely small hotel in good location to beach - The hotel was a lovely place to stay for our short trip to the Izu Penninsula, it was a good base for us to explore the area although there are very limited restaurants or places of interest in the immediate vicinity apart from the beach. The service was excellent in the hotel, especially the check in and the rooms were clean and well maintained. We didn’t use the private baths but they looked great. The only one issue was the significant amount of bugs on the entrance to the hotel and the outside vending machine.
