Rosemary (10/5): Beautiful townhome filled with antiques art and care with a warm host who have left no rock unturned - David, the host, thought of absolutely everything. We were greeted at the door, where he assisted in getting our suitcases up the stairs then gave some some information about breakfast the next day and basic operations. Our room was large and beautifully appointed. Scones with clotted cream and homemade raspberry jam were laid on the coffee table, shortbread cookies and a selection of beautiful teas, hot chocolate and coffee with milk on another table, and chocolates on the bede with a cartoon image of the hosts on them (so cute!) and pillow spray for a restful night. The Bed and pillows were dreamy, two comfortable chairs to lounge in, gorgeous bathroom appointed with everything you could need. Decadent. Then the rest of the Townhouse.... art from all over the world on the walls, sculptures here and there, antiques everywhere, flowers... honestly, just wow. BREAKFAST! Again, wow, David greets you directs you to a table with warm croissants, then brings fruit salad and coffee. He then takes your order and cooks a variety of eggs (Benedict, classic Scottish, beautiful omelettes). David is gracious, humorous and helpful. What a treat. I wish we had another night to be spoiled and to enjoy it all. That I couldn't stay longer...
janettD5041UM (10/5): The Townhouse Perth, a great experience - David and Laurent are excellent hosts, providing just the right amount of personal attention and advice whilst being unobtrusive. No detail is missed and the breakfast is unsurpassed. The property is charming with the ambience of an elegant and comfortable Scottish home. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and were very glad we elected to stay at the Townhouse in Perth rather than in over-touristed and hilly Stirling. The walk from Perth Station is a flat, easy 8 minute walk with luggage. We did a daytrip in the train to Stirling and were able to spend 4 hours at Stirling Castle. We would highly recommend a stay at this property.

The rooms are exquisite, the beds so comfortable, everything you could possibly need and more is supplied, even a cream tea and chocolates and pillow spray for a good sleep. The room is so much fun and the bed is better than many hotels. The hearty breakfast cooked by the host David himself every morning made me cancelled other reserved brunches. Lots of love and care in the details ~ The rooster door blocker, the 🗝️ looking key, the house made jam, the not-the-average-B&B bed sheets, vintage furniture collection….. Beautifully furnished bedrooms, very comfortable beds. Lots of thought has gone into the personal touches and extra treats/surprises you will find in your chosen room. Cooked to order breakfast prepared by David is superb. Please note there are some steps from the parking at the rear of the property to gain access to the main house.

Generous tea and coffee with lovely shortbread and scones (excellent jam). Excellent breakfast. The bed was very firm but others may like that. The room was lovely but there's a lot of stuff in it.

The house is beautifully furnished with great attention to detail and breakfast served by David was a real treat made even more enjoyable by his quick and amusing ripostes. Entertaining host (we only met one). Room was a good size, with interesting furniture, extremely comfortable bed and little touches like scones and jam plus fresh milk for a cup of tea. Good shower with separate bath, and a decent hairdryer. All spotless. Breakfast had good choice of food and drinks and was beautifully cooked. Free parking available. Very good value, we’d definitely stay again.

richardaX2164QP (10/5): Above and beyond expectations - The photos cannot do justice to the sheer comfort and care taken to create and maintain The Townhouse to such exceptional standard - clean and neat as a a pin. Every care and consideration has been taken from the most comfortable bed imaginable (including lavender spritzer), to the afternoon scone ready for you, to the assortment of teas and proper ground coffee and to comfy chairs that you sink into with views over the park from my quiet and restful room. Within very easy reach of the train station (5-7 minute walk) and with Perth city center behind you and so well located for trips out into the country side. Breakfast was exceptional with locally sourced ingredients with David taking care to ensure all was perfect .. or slightly beyond for my visit. Simply the best with a quiet and elegant atmosphere. And excellent value for money for sure

Greeted by David at the back door on arrival and help with the bags to the room. We stayed in the Deluxe Park View Room overlooking South Insh Park. The room is pure luxury and the furnishings are all in keeping with the Georgian splendour of the property. So many thoughtful touches that make your stay special , from homemade fruit scones with jam and clotted cream, magazines and papers for leisurely perusal, ground coffee and a selection of loose leaf teas, bone china cups, shortbread, chocolates on your bed and pillow spritz to ensure a restful sleep! The room is peaceful and you wake to a delicious home cooked breakfast. Easy walking distance to lots of lovely eateries. The perfect getaway!
102Wallace (10/5): Superb boutique hotel in a great location - We stayed one night on a visit to Perth and this will be our go-to hotel on any future visits to the city. From the owner's welcome to the beautiful served breakfast, this hotel ticks all the boxes. Our room and bathroom were spacious and spotlessly clean and the bed was large and very comfortable, There were lots of lovely touches like the welcome scones, real coffee and cafetieres - all the things that make a room feel welcoming and homely. The hotel is well located facing the South Inch parkland and is in easy walking distance of the city centre and the station - and it has parking if you need it. Many thanks to David and Laurent - this was a five-star experience.

Came out to the car to welcome us, straight into our room and the easy registration form is in your room so you can complete it at your leisure. Homemade scones, clotted cream and jam awaiting. Some fabulous teas (have already ordered some Rhubarb Rooibos online now). Room was amazing with a fabulous view. Very comfortable and great shower. Breakfast fantastic too. Genuinely everything that you could possibly think of was covered and a great location. Great value for money and everything was spotlessly clean. Will definitely be back.

The room was spacious, clean and comfortable with lots of nice personal touches. A delicious breakfast was cooked to order Whilst they catered for GF - in my case it is a medical condition not a lifestyle choice so I didn’t appreciate being described as ‘one of them’ albeit in jest. Room facilities were great but maybe a mini fridge would be useful for milk/drinks. Slight drain odour in ensuite needs attention.

All the little touches and extras including scones, jam and cream on arrival. Upgraded room with a view over the park. Cafetière coffee, specialty teas, fresh milk and shortbread biscuits. Toiletries from Arran which smelled divine. Everything you could want. Breakfast was delicious - fresh fruit, cereals, croissants, fresh juice and a choice of 4 freshly made to order dishes. David was very welcoming and attentive. We hope we get a chance to return.

N3203OIjohnk (10/5): An absolute gem! - From the moment we were welcomed warmly by David, as we negotiated our way into the car park at The Townhouse, we were treated like royalty. The Townhouse is a beautiful Boutique B&B. Our spotlessly clean room overlooking the South Inch was huge with every conceivable comfort and luxury catered for. The furnishings and artwork throughout The Townhouse are beautiful and the bed is huge and comfortable. The fine wooden shutters ensure that an undisturbed nights sleep is guaranteed. Breakfast was superb and served in the cosy breakfast room by David, who was as charming and friendly as ever. We will definitely find more reasons to return to Perth in future - if even if it's just as an excuse to enjoy another night at The Townhouse.

We were given a very warm welcome from David who understands what hospitality is all about. Our room had lovely views over the park and we were provided with scones and cream on our arrival with multiple choice teas and coffee. The bedroom was large enough for two very comfortable sitting room chairs. Breakfast was again multiple choice with home made croissants . This could not be faulted and along with various recommendations for eating out made our anniversary visit to Perth and The Townhouse very special. Perth has excellent galleries and museums and is easy to get to.If considering a visit to Perth we could not recommend highly enough this excellent personal and inviting B&B for a short stay.

Fruitloaf (10/5): Amazing! Just amazing...... - One night only stay for our 40th Wedding Anniversary with best friends. David me us outside as we arrived....took my case and showed us to our magnificent room! See photos. David went over bits and pieces pointing out local places of interest and pointed out on the handy printed map that can be found in the handy and informative visitor guide book in the room. True hospitality the way it should be....above and beyond! David then left us after confirming what time we would like breakfast the next morning. " See you at breakfast then" need anything?.....contact via room phone. The room was huge?, magnificent furnishings, chaise longue , TV , coffee, tea assortment. Freshly home baked scones, cream & jam. So many plus points I'd like to mention....please see photos, better still....experience the warmth and hospitality of The Townhouse Hotel in Perth.......Thanks David for my wee French conversation with you.....I was taken aback when you replied to my usual 'Bonjour" when I feel in comfortable company!! Fabulous....NEXT time will be a longer stay. Free guest parking behind the hotel.

Peter (10/5): Kommer mer än gärna tillbaka! - Vackert inredda rum med med mycket känsla för detaljer som skapade hemmakänsla. Jättesköna sängar, superfräscht badrum, trevligt te/kaffe-bord på rummet. Jättegod frukost och David var en härlig person, som är perfekt som guest-house värd.
Sheena2102 (10/5): An hidden Gem - We were met by David and Laurent who met us b are car and carried out luggage to the room they were very good with communication about restaurants place to visit etc our room exceeded all expectations it was opulent with attention to detail in every aspect Breakfast was on another level it cooked to perfection the fruit salad with mint and honey was a tantalising experience on our taste buds the full Scottish breakfast was amazing what makes this hotel stand out from all the rest is the hosts it’s an hidden gem in Perth please visit you won’t be disappointed
Andrea (10/5): Exquisite, warm, comfortable and fabulously welcoming townhouse. The perfect stay in Perth - Exquisite decor and artefacts made the visit feel luxurious yet comfortable. David and his husband are perfect hosts. Their warmth and welcoming nature made us feel that we were staying with old friends. The location is perfect for a morning walk through the lovely park opposite as well as being close to the restaurants. Breakfast was fabulous too with David starting our meal off with a beautifully home made strawberry and mint palette freshener. Having the ability to park right outside the back of the building was perfect too. I can’t wait to return to this stunning, welcoming, luxurious townhouse. Nothing.

Mike (10/5): Best B&B we've ever been to ! - Everything. It's a superb place to stay. So stylish with wonderful attention to detail. As a bonus there are tasteful examples of sculpture and painting throughout the property. Breakfast was of the highest quality with a large choice all freshly prepared. Best of all David is a discrete but attentive host. We shall be back ! Nothing.

STEPHEN (10/5): Outstanding B&B in Perth - David was the perfect host and made us feel very welcome. The room was thoughtfully presented with small gifts and premium teas & coffee with a welcome scone and chocolates. The breakfast was outstanding and David said he always gets complimented on his omelette, which I did too! Delicious. Well, there isn't much David can do about the railway track outside our bedroom window! Trains were fairly regular as it's on the main Inverness/Edinburgh line.
Cherie (10/5): - Our stay was fantastic from start to finish. We loved the little extra touches like freshly baked scones on arrival and pillow mist next to the bed. David the host was very welcoming and made us the most delicious breakfast the next morning. Would highly recommend a stay here. I couldn't seem to work the radiators in the room at night, but it didn't matter because we were cosy in bed.
