• nehag1001 (2/5): This is not a 5 star ! - One of the worst experiences, shameful to call this a 5 star property. No towels in the suite, staff refusing to accept orders from kids menu and absolutely zero pool monitoring. For the 3 days we stayed, people went into the pool as if it was a pond and there was no staff to check them. Let alone proper swimming attire, people were dipping their feet in the pool and entering in their clothes !! There was no staff to check for this gross breach of hygiene and protocol. Even when we complained, the manager himself could do nothing. Couldn’t ensure that the guests wore proper swimming attire. In fact at night he didn’t even understand what the guests were wearing and why it’s improper. Never seen this before at a hotel ! Please do not stay here especially with family. I hope someone reading this takes away their pool license.

Enjoyed a lot with the in-house games, played lots of games like Croquat, pool table, table tennis and other games. The Recreation Staff Rajendra is very helpful person and hard working, he teach us the games... Overall enjoyable stay. This is one of the best resort at Jaisalmer. The Pradeep Sir is the very best person we played lots of games. Thank you The Manager Sir Pradeep for teaching us the games and spending time with us.

• EricJ123 (10/5): Fantastic Hotel with wonderfull service - Treat yourself - Magnificent hotel a few minutes’ drive to the city centre. Seamless check in and check out. Outstanding front of house service. The grounds are magnificent. Great coffee shop on the premises. Dinner was sumptuous and breakfast was breath taking. The room is large, luxurious and well appointed. What makes this hotel so special are the wonderful, well-trained staff. They are absolutely customer centric. A treat to stay there.
• Poojaper (2/5): FRAUD and SCAM at this Property - Your Credit Card is Unsafe - This Hotel is defrauding guests who have booked with them by making unauthorized and fraudulent transactions on their Credit Card - even if they do not stay with them and cancel their bookings much ahead of cancellation Window. We had booked this Property for stay in Dec 2025 and given change in plans we cancelled the booking much ahead of the 7 days Cancellation Window as per booking terms. The booking was a point redemption booking. We got the points back to our account instantly. After 3 months the property charged our Card for the Room Nights Value. On contacting the property the front office staff - Mr. Tribhuvan Singh (74120 00225) completely denies the fraudulent debits and comments that the cancellation was outside of cancellation Window. Inspite of sharing proof of cancellation terms they completely disregard this. He refuses to share any proof from his end and also refuses to see the proof that I have. How come a guest is charged 3 months after the actual cancellation - they are running a fraudulent operation with an intent to scam guests. Your Credit Card Details with this property is not safe - you will be scammed. Please avoid and stay safe, To start defrauding customers they changes cancellation window from 7 days to 21 days and give misleading statements. Marriott helpdesk in unresponsive as well. Had requested 3 rooms with King size beds and one with two twins. I stead they had all rooms with twins which later they scrambled to reverse! Inside the room, cleanliness of upholstery was questionable; curtains were not working; power sockets were not working by the bed on the right side;. In general didn’t feel good about paying so much money to get this shoddy service. Also the hotel has now charged me for 5 rooms instead of the 4 we occupied and claim that one of the charges was just a pre-authorization which will be released shortly!! I have never experienced this before and I am an avid traveler with 40 years of business travel across the globe!!

• ShikshaC (6/5): Mixed experiences… - We booked a two-night stay at this property based on positive reviews. Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly and the property itself was impressive. However, our experience was mixed. We had requested an early check-in well in advance but despite arriving early, we were still waiting for a room an hour after the 3 pm check-in time. The staff apologised and tried to make things right but our exhaustion and lack of patience left us feeling let down. The rooms were average and needed more maintenance, and towels were also missing oj the second day. The view from my room was also poor. The buffet breakfast was average with a wide variety of options. They have high tea also which again lacked options while the play area was not maintained.
• UnnatKotak (10/5): True 5 STAR experience #unforgetable - This is a true luxury at its best in Jaisalmer, the rooms are very neat and tidy size of the rooms are big and very comfortable. staff it very good, very well-maintained property, pools is clean and clear, there is also a kid's pool very nicely built. the indoor play area is very good and many games to play. there were many outdoor games also like archery, badminton, mini golf etc. The property is value for each penny spent at the hotel. the property is big so it's always calm.
• AnujS927 (8/5): Relish in Rajasthan’s Royalty - Overall a wonderful 2 nights stay at the property. The rooms are well equipped and the staff is courteous (thanks Rajendra Ji for room services). The Buffet Breakfast isn’t to be missed with a good selection of Indian spreads from both the Northern and Southern region. The inward courtyard makes you feel a royalty in the serene atmosphere. The in-room air conditioning needs to be fixed - though they provided us with additional room heaters. It’s a little on the pricey side and so Marriot is encouraged to explore ways to provide more value which they have the potential of.

• GlobeRunner22 (4/5): Poor Service Overall and a Messy Stay with the Exception Vineet Sinha - I had high hopes for this Hotel. Where do I start. So I had contacted the hotel prior to arrival and asked for a Fort View Room. I was in contact with Partha Saha, the Front Office Manager more than 6 months in advance to secure such a room, which he promised. I had also confirmed the room a week before I arrived. Upon arrival, the reception desk was a total mess. Four people handling my checking in process on Monday 15th December at around 6pm - 6.30pm. When I arrived, my private tour guide and I noticed a few things: 1. Other guests were treated with attention and respect and I was not. Example - a couple of guests received a special welcome with a gift. I got nothing and zero acknowledgement. 2. We were made to wait at the desk for 15 mins - 20 mins before anyone was willing to talk to us. Should I divulge how much this hotel cost me for 1 night?? 3. When someone actually came to my aid to check me in, they had no idea what they were doing, I was passed around to four different people because the main twit was distracted with doing other things and passed me around to four different people. He even got so confused and asked my private guide for his passport because he thought he had a room booked too. I clearly told him with a booking confirmation that there was 1 room and it was for me and me only. The four staff were totally inexperienced and disorganised and even laughed at us while we were extremely peeved. I opted to pay my room at check-in and ask for a receipt of payment. The twit at the front desk said he could not give me a receipt and I only got the EFTPOS slip from the credit card payment. I insisted and he refused. I insisted again and he refused. When I finally got to my room, yes, it was super large but I had NO FORT VIEW ROOM. Instead I had a view of a junk yard and bird droppings. I clearly stated at check-in that a fort view room was guaranteed for me and the young woman with glasses said that there would be a fort view. Also all the extra towels I asked for 12 MONTHS BEFOREHAND WHEN BOOKING and the woman at the front desk at check-in said THEY WERE THERE IN THE ROOM - THEY WERE MISSING. It didn't stop there. The whole 1 night stay was a disaster. After they took my food order, I looked at the bill and was charged TWICE for a meal. I had to then rectify this by contacting the Restaurant Manager, Vineet Sinha who sorted this out swiftly for me, but it should not have happened. Full stop. If I did not check, I would have paid double. Later that night, I decided to go to the front desk and check up on my bill. I was told the room HAD NOT BEEN PAID FOR. Well what do you know, that is exactly why I ASKED FOR AN INVOICE. The previous twit had already left and the new guy at the front desk said he should have given me an invoice. So here I am, accused of not paying when I just paid for a room almost $800 AUD. I had the EFTPOS receipt in my room but boy was I annoyed and what a time waster. I told him to sort it out and to send the invoice to my room. I NEVER HEARD FROM THIS GUY WHO WAS ON DUTY ON THE NIGHT OF MONDAY 15TH DECEMBER AGAIN. This was at around 11pm. I never got the invoice either. Yes I was more than angry at this stage. The only person in this hotel that did anything right was Vineet Sinha, the Restaurant Manager. That is why I gave them 2 stars instead of 1. He listened to me attentively and he took my food order with great care. And he was nice as well and the only person that treated me with decency and respect - the way it should be. The next day, after my private tour guide heard about my problems all night, he was super angry and went off at the staff. I also had my 2 cents. The twit who checked me in on the first day was also there again and he was told off by his supervisor and told him to shut up when he tried to speak. It was a circus when I left. The front office manager eventually came out as I was leaving and apologised and the joke was this - he offered me some silly Marriott bonvoy points and asked me what he can do to make it right. Do you really need to ask me that? Offer me a refund - use your brain - are you a manager or not?! I said I do not want your points! If you want to make up for all the problems I faced then give me a partial refund. He went away and did some research then eventually a week later I got a 30% discount. This is what the 2nd star is for too otherwise they would have gotten 1 star. I cannot award them more stars because of all the problems I faced, despite the partial refund. That accounts for the time I wasted with rectifying all the problems I faced. The staff were incredibly disrespectful especially at check-in.

It's a few minutes outside of town so you have to drive into town. This was not an issue for us, but if you want to be walking distance, this is not the place.

Welcoming, pleasant ambience, delicious food, conveniently located - Aesthetically designed in the golden Jaisalmer sandstone, low rise with modern features. Room design, air conditioning and the bed are very comfortable. The buffet menu is elaborate, preparations tasty and chef serves some typically Marwari dishes . The rooftop restaurant is highly recommended. The hotel could do with some more evening activities and cut out plastic water bottles

• Abhijit (9/5): A good premium resort - The proximity of the hotel is hardly 3 kms from the Jaisalmer fort. The airport is just a 15mins drive. Warm hospitality. The chef, Pratap Singh, was very enthusiastic in serving us with different combinations like Jalebi chat, Palak patta savoury to name a few. The support staff(Miss. Sheetal) was excellent. Since I had a throat infection they promptly used to bring warm water whenever I came to their dining area. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Their housekeeping staff kept cleaning the room more than once during the day. All the room amenities like water, tea bags, coffee were replenished throughout the day. The options for vegetarians are quite limited. The portion sizes are small. So after the first two days we finally had our meals at the Taj Ghorband which is a kilometre away.
• 183prateekj (10/5): ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Exceptional Hospitality at Marriott Jaisalmer - We are staying at Marriott Jaisalmer on the occasion of my wife’s birthday, and our experience has been truly wonderful. I would like to especially appreciate Mr. Satyalpal, the Restaurant Manager, for his outstanding hospitality. He was extremely cooperative, warm, and genuinely caring. His birthday wishes and personal attention made our celebration even more special and memorable. He ensured everything was perfectly taken care of and made us feel truly welcomed. I sincerely thank him for his efforts and also wish that all the staff continue to maintain the same level of warmth and professionalism. A big thank you to Mr. Satyalpal and the entire Marriott Group for such a delightful experience. I happily rate 5 out of 5 for his behavior and the overall service. Cheers and thanks once again!

• MuktaM (8/5): There are better Resorts there, keep looking - Marriot Resort & Spa, Jaisalmer Being a Platinum Member with Marriot, we’ve been to so many of their properties across India, but this is the lowest of all. Did not like the Management at so many points. The Good part Our Checkin was smooth, we were upgraded to a very spacious Suite, it was given before the check in time, so that was very comfortable. It was a two night stay for us, I was in touch with Binayak from the Concierge team before arriving, he was very helpful through out. Our Suite was spacious, had bathtub, the housekeeping team happily provided the Bath Salt. The toiletries were from Forest Essentials, that was good too. Akash at the Bar, was always smiling and serving. The menu at the Bar for the Cocktail Hour was also very good. The pool was good, couldn’t use it as it was quite cold but enjoyed reading my book by the pool side. Spa - Didn’t use the service. Felt suffocating while entering the Spa Block, Steam room was also under maintenance. The Bad part The Breakfast Buffet was very very basic, can easily be called a mid 3-4 Star Hotel buffet. Day 1 at Restaurant - Being Platinum, one of the benefit is that we get full day lounge access - complimentary Tea/ Coffee 24/7. We reached hotel before 11 AM, after the morning flight. Buffet was still going on. The Check in team guided us to the Buffet to help ourselves as there wasn’t any dedicated lounge. But the girl from the restaurant team came and told us that it’ll be billed, in a very cold and stern way, no politeness, no pleasing , none of the basic manners which a hospitality team should have. 2. Chef Pratap Singh - Felt that he has never worked anywhere else, doesn’t has any social skills. and feels that he owns the place, so much attitude and arrogance he had. On day 2, we ordered a French Toast which took more than 20 minutes to come, after I reached to Pratap Singh, he expedited the process, but when the French Toast came, it was all salty with cinnamon - can you imagine what sour taste it would’ve given. Before this French Toast Fiasco, the Dosa that we got was really below average and while we were complaining to Pratap Singh, he heard us at first, replied something and walked away, while we were still complaining. We had an afternoon flight, so for Lunch we decided to split a Pizza, ordered Pepperoni Pizza from the room, to have it at the restaurant, as I was busy in last minute packing, had to catch the flight also. Upon our arrival at the restaurant, the Pizza that we saw had 7 pepperoni’s, it felt like that it’s a margarita pizza, with a slice of tomato on each slice, came from a very local shop. We complained again - to Pratap Singh, had only few bites of it, couldn’t have more and we were in so much rush, that the team could not have prepared another one. (Please look at the photo) Staying at a 5 Star, and getting this service was not expected at all. Wanted to give 2 Stars, as having such experience from the same team every day, kills the vacation mood. But thanks to the Check in team, Ravindra from the Housekeeping Team, Carpenter Moti and always smiling Akash (Bar), they all do ace at their job. Big Thanks to them.

From the moment we arrived at Marriott Jaisalmer Resort & Spa, we knew this trip was going to be something special. The welcome itself was nothing short of magical! As we stepped into the property, we were greeted with beautiful Rajasthani songs, and flowers were gently showered from above, making the whole welcome feel straight out of a royal celebration. They even gave us the traditional Rajasthani pagdi (topi), which added such a cultural and warm touch — absolutely loved it! Hospitality & Service – 10/10 The hospitality at this property is exceptional. From the reception itself, you truly feel like the staff is committed to giving each guest a memorable stay. Everyone was so polite, helpful, and attentive. The hotel is gorgeous — extremely clean, beautifully maintained, and designed with a perfect blend of heritage and modern luxury. There was a lovely lady from the hotel who personally took us on a tour of the property and then guided us to our room. This gesture made us feel genuinely cared for. The Room (Room 129) I stayed in Room 129, and it was spacious, comfortable, and very well equipped. They provide everything you need — toiletries, water, essentials, etc. The room was cleaned daily, and one thing that really made me smile was a cute handwritten note left by the staff saying “Thank you for staying”. Such little touches make all the difference. 💌😊 Amenities The Pool The pool area is beautiful and extremely well-maintained. The only thing I felt could be improved is adding a heated pool, especially because Jaisalmer gets quite chilly at night. But overall, still a wonderful place to relax. The Gym The gym is surprisingly impressive — clean, organized, and equipped with all the essentials. They always have water bottles and towels ready, which shows how well they maintain it. We were celebrating an anniversary, and the hotel arranged a lovely room decoration and cake, which made the stay special. As Titanium Elite members, we were upgraded to a spacious Jaisalmer Suite, and the traditional welcome with folk music and flower petals was memorable. The team across the hotel was warm and attentive. At the Dunes Bar, Akash really stood out with his exceptional service and attention to detail. Ravindar from housekeeping created a beautiful room setup for our celebration and ensured the room was perfectly maintained throughout our stay. Lunch at Jaisalmer Kitchen was excellent, and Sheetal made our experience especially enjoyable with her attentive and friendly approach. At high tea, Kailash prepared some of the best tea we’ve had, and we looked forward to it every afternoon. A couple of areas could be improved. The chefs never stopped by to seek feedback on the food on any of the days, which is something we’ve consistently experienced at other Marriott properties and helps ensure quality. Checkout also felt transactional, without the warm acknowledgment of loyalty we usually receive. That said, we left with wonderful memories. The core hospitality, comfort, and warmth of the staff made this a truly enjoyable stay.

The staff was friendly, polite, and always ready to help with anything I needed. The food was really good, and the location was peaceful yet convenient.
