Melynda (5/5): If you really need a place to sleep for the night this will do however make sure you get your keys for your room early o - It was close to the wedding location and it was easy to find as it was right off the highway. Free water bottles for each guest. Sheets and bedding appear clean. A bed to lay down on for a night after a long day. Mattress is comfy. Wifi is a big plus as cell service is spotty and will drop calls. Owner is polite. The property appears to be over grown with vegetation. Not sure where the parking lot is with all vegetation. The main office is not visibly easy to find. There is a sign but is faded out. If you take the interest near the hotel there is no sign indicating which building is the main office. No one who works for the motel was there at the main office besides two people who I presume was working security. One was more concerned with removing chin hairs than speaking with me. The guy was busy taking a nap inside of the office. The guy at least try to call the owner for me multiple time but could not get through. He gave me four different numbers to call as he was going home for the night. He let me into one of the room and gave me a key. All he asked for was my name. After an hour and a half I was called back by the owners husband. The wife who runs the motel did not realize that someone had booked the night. In her defense I had booked the night before. There is an ant issue. They were coming in through the front door and a crack in the bathroom near the bathtub. Ants were climbing on the cloth laying on the tubs rim with soap. The bathroom curtain had ants climbing up it. The cord management for the fridge and a/c unit plugging into an extension is a fire waiting to happen.
Della (8/5): - The owners of this hotel were great. So pleasant and willing to help wherever they could. The rooms are old but clean. We were on the end unit and our airconditioner didn't work the best but in the 30 temps it did ok. I would stay here again if visiting Youngstown .
