• Florence (7/5): Bon emplacement mais mérite un bon rafraîchissement. - L’emplacement en bout de plage de Matira la plus jolie de l’île, avec un bout de plage privée. Nous n’avons pas aimé la vétusté de la paillote, le lit n’est pas confortable et la chambre est petite et manque d’équipements.

• karine (8/5): Très bel emplacement - L’emplacement est incroyable ils ont la chance d’être là où l’eau est magnifique….. Transfert excessivement cher …. Avec l’impression de se faire avoir tout de même (7000 xpf pour un transfert de moins de 10 kms !!!! )
• Kevin (8/5): Very good and I would have no hesitation in staying there again if I was ever back in Bora Bora - Location I could walk out the back door and I was on the beach. Where they had there own area. Also next door is a restaurant called Lucky House where the food is very good and the staff are very pleasant. I knew in advance that the property is basic but that was ok. It backs onto the beach and also a very good restaurant next door

• Yves (10/5): Aucune hésitation à avoir ! - La plage avec ses belles patates à quelques brasses. Quoi de mieux que d’ apprécier quelques raies aigles au lever du soleil . Ici pas de pilotis pas dr chichi mais l essentiel est la. Merci à Christophe pour des conseils. Commerce et Super restaurant juste à côté .. et pourtant c’est étonnement calme.

• Tamas (10/5): Great place and location. - I particularly liked this property as it was very convenient for our needs. Comfortable, good beds, spacious rooms. We had a cute little terrace which was very nice spending our evenings on. The little private beach is a great place to watch the sunrise or the sunset even. Agree with the previous comments as Matira beach is few mins away on foot. Small grocery shop is opposite as well as a pizzeria just next door. Christine and Christoph were very helpful and accommodating. We had a great stay. Ohh and the cats were so cute.

• Rene (5/5): Great location, dirty and unhygienic room and bedding, nice staff. - Great location, friendly staff Generally the place gives a dirty, unhygienic impression. There were dead flies in the drawers of the bathroom furniture, there is dust in all the corners of the closets and shelves, the curtains are dirty, the tables outside on the balcony are dirty, the closets and shelves are dirty, there is a gap in the bathroom with open mesh where lizards came in, the tablecloths on the balcony had stains and were dirty, there were brown stains on the bedding, etc. It's unfortunate because a little bit of more cleanliness and modern furniture would make this a great place.

Un petit restaurant est accolé ainsi que le Bora Bora Beach Club, idéal pour boire un verre face à la plage de Matira, qui est magnifique. Le personnel était serviable, sympathique et disponible ! Le village est top, bien arboré et idyllique. Tellement agréable de se réveiller avec cette vue sur le lagon. La literie est à changer dans les meilleurs délais. Besoin d'un coup de rénovation pour l'ensemble du bungalow. Dommage au vu de l'immense potentiel de ce village charmant et bien placé !

• Carla (1/5): Heureusement que c’était qu’une nuit - Seulement l’emplacement, la dame à l’accueil à essayer d’agir, mais malheureusement… Alors déjà l’accueil elle nous a un peu sauté au cou pour nous dire qu’on lui avait pas répondu à son message. Ensuite elle nous fait visiter le bungalow. Le chat rentre dans le bungalow une odeur de pisse dans la salle de bain qui remonte du coup vers la chambre, on l’a fait signaler. Oui elle a essayé d’agir mais malheureusement c’est trop tard ça sent encore. On a passé la nuit comme ça le matelas est beaucoup trop dur, il y a que les coussins qui sont très confort.

• GERARD (9/5): On rêve d'un bungalow sur pilotis mais le village Temanuata n'a rien à envié. - une vrai carte postale puisque nous avions un bungalow sur la plage. Pour la petite différence de prix ça ne valait vraiment pas le coup de s'en passer. le lever du soleil depuis notre terrasse, la gentillesse du personnel. Tout bien quoi! Partir après une semaine passée au village

Sea breeze and lovely views... seemed more spacious than the other bungalows. Location is excellent and quiet. Thanks Roberta and Christine for making it all so easy.😀 we really enjoyed it.

• Alex (7/5): Rigtig lækkert ophold med fantastisk beliggenhed. - Rigtig flot sted. Meget behagelige og rare værter. Beliggenheden er i top med deres private strand, og meget kort afstand til en stor flot offentlig strand. Restauranter og supermarkeder lige i nærheden. Utrolig mange firben - specielt indenfor om aftenen. Vi valgte af sove under myggenet. Den sidste aften var der desuden også en mus der løb langs loftet. Den var dog hurtigt væk igen. Men man bor i naturen, så vi var naturligvis forberedt på lidt dyr, men der ofte 5-10 firben, som løb rundt i loftet og på væggene om aftenen. Men ikke noget der ødelagde vores ophold. Vi nævnte heller ikke noget for værterne, for hvis vi havde gjort det, så havde de helt sikkert hjulpet os.

• Alexandra (8/5): Établissement bien situé avec personnel chaleureux - Hôtel bien situé à quelques minutes à pieds de restaurants, supermarchés et de la plage de Matira. Notre bungalow disposait d’une grande terrasse avec une literie confortable et une moustiquaire. Le personnel est très accueillant disponible et très gentil. La plage privée est très jolie et l’hôtel propose un large choix d’activités. Et petit plus, le collier lors du départ ! Le bungalow était très vétuste et la propreté laisse à désirer, nous avons notamment retrouvé dès notre arrivée un cafard mort sur le sol de la salle de bain. La salle de bain manque aussi d’aération.

• Laurence (7/5): Lieu exceptionnel mais prévoir quelques provisions pour le petit-déjeuner - L’emplacement, le jardin, la plage et la proximité des commerces et restaurants. Le jardinier était très serviable, discret et sympathique. Le bungalow bien calme et discret tout en étant proche des autres. Aménagement extérieur très soigné. L’absence d’équipement de base pour un petit-déjeuner dans le bungalow. L’impression de déranger la personne à l’accueil pour toute question. L’absence de mobilité car nous n’avons pas pu emprunter les vélos.

Οι καθαριστριες πολυ καλες και ευγενικες και προθυμες να μας βοηθησουν οποτε τις χρειαστηκαμε. Δυστυχως τα δωματια στην πραξη δεν τα λες δωματια. Μικρα λυομενα χωρις καθολου ηχομονωση, χωρις κλιματισμο, μπανιο - ντουζ χωρις ιδιωτικοτητα ( η πορτα ηταν διατρητη μεταξυ μπανιου και δωματιου) οποτε οι οσμες διαχεονταν. Σκουροασμενο ψυγειο ντουζιερα κτλ.Παρα πολυ ακριβο για αυτα που προσφερει.

La struttura andrebbe rinnovata (dipende dai canoni personali), spiagge fantastiche sia quella della struttura che Matira a due passi . Zona servita da market e ristorante .
• Anonym (7/5): - Die Lage ist wirklich gut. Der Strand der dazu gehört ist eine Wucht. Die Bungalows sind einfach, aber alles da was man braucht. Alles einfacher Standard, aber ausreichend. Preis Leistung für Bora Bora sicher top. Man hat es nicht weit zu einem Laden und auch guten Restaurants. Eigentlich alles gut. Man könnte das ein oder andere erneuern (wie die Kochplatte).

• MARIE (6/5): - Nous avons été bien accueillis et l'emplacement était telle qu'on le souhaitait, une petite plage privée avec beau lever de soleil et à 3 min de la grande plage avec coucher de soleil. Les bungalows vétustes. Des sanitaires qui s'abîment, des robinets non adaptés aux éviers. C'est dommage d'avoir un emplacement comme celui-là et de ne pas en prendre plus soin. Il y avait des bruits d'appareils électriques au-dessus du lit qui ont gèné notre sommeil.
• Patricia (9/5): Village Temanuata - Loved having the space of a two bed bungalow with a large cooking area and a private drying area, the biggest bonus was the private beach! Sand pathways to the beach with loungers, tables and chairs. They provided me with a hairdryer on request. Christophe came out after hours as I had a problem opening the glass sliding door. Christine helped on my last day with my checking out early to do a tour, letting me use the beach, shower and towels before my evening flight. They booked me transfers both ways as about 15 mins from the ferry harbour for the airport. There is a restaurant next to the village, book a table as full every night! They do a roaring takeaway business too. Small supermarket opposite and another bigger one about a 10! min walk away. Sunset on Matira beach, a few mins walk away is a must. Having to leave!

• Ana Maria (2/5): Me sentí estafada! Caro y en mal estado - No me gustó para nada. Estuve dos noches en dos diferentes bungalows. El primero oscuro y con mal olor a humedad, viejo y mohoso, con manchas en la taza del baño, aparentemente de sarro, limplado a la rapida y sin ninguna mantencion. Con olor a cloaca. El segundo un poco mejor, con vista al mar. Tambien con las mismas manchas en la taza del baño y con mal olor tambien a desagüe. Me sentí estafada por el precio. Con solo un poco más de dinero , en la misma calle, al borde de lamisma playa y con desayuno, reservé en un Hotel tres estrellas. Lo que mas me molestó fue que: aparentemente los dueños son europeos ! Pero el nivel del alojamiento deja mucho que desear! Yo caí por la ubicación, a la orilla de la playa, pero ni aun asi volvería a alojarme ahí. La playa publica está a cinco minutos caminando desde allí. Es hermosa y muy espaciosa y se puede ver la puesta del sol !
• Mauro (9/5): Bungalow sulla spiaggia a Bora Bora - La posizione è perfetta con spiaggia privata, vicinanza alla grande spiaggia pubblica di Matira, accanto ad un buon ristorante e all'Intercontinantal per aperitivi con formula happyhoure fronte mare. Bello il giardino in cui sono situati i bungalow e belle offerte di gite alla bacheca. Puoi dimenticare le scarpe per tutto il soggiorno...Staff molto gentile. I bungalow avrebbero bisogno di maggiore manutenzione.

Très facile pour faire des activités en mer car le bateau vient directement sur la place. Notre chambre était située à l’entrée du village, juste à côté du restaurant avec beaucoup de musique.

• Robert (8/5): Great location near Matira Beach, Bora Bora's best stretch of shoreline - Small private beach at the property. Nice view out to the pastel waters. The hotel staff were very helpful and speak English, although it also gave me an opportunity to speak/practice French, a language that has always fascinated me. The property is situated next door to the Lucky House bar and restaurant. Close to Matira Beach. There's a small supermarket nearby. Hotel Temanuata is on the Ring Road that circles Bora Bora Island, so you can find this place easily. (Hotels not on the main road, inland, can be harder to locate without signage on the Ring Road to advertise their presence.) All good, although sometimes I had to ask for housekeeping to attend to my room, and this often only consisted of fresh bath towels and some toilet paper.
• Amy (5/5): Passable - Was in a great location and having a beach with the property was a plus Shower head wasn’t attached to anything, kitchen is not really equipped for cooking for example no knifes or tongs. The fridge was not very cold and the dish sponge was old and had not been replaced since the last stay. The room is not mosquito proof so definitely ask for a net prior to arrival as only a couple available.

• Brenda (2/5): - First please read all the reviews. The one and two star reviews are from us who actually booked a stay. I have a strong suspension, that I cannot prove that the great reviews are from the owner making a reservation in order to make a glowing review. The place is ran down. I showed up and they were hammering away on the bungalow roof next door. Four construction workers putting on a new layer of palm fronds f r o 0830 - 1630 hours, all day pounding. Front desk, Christina said it was going to be for three days. I told her i came here to relax, not be next to a construction zone. I was told the owner was away and she couldn't do anything about a refund. They don't have a resturant, next door resturant is not open for breakfast. Le Moana Resort is open, but breakfast is $65.00. Lets move onto the room. Itbis tiny, walk around the bed only. Kitchen faucet in the bathroom sink, shower stall grimmy and rusted out shower controls. No A/C, no screen doors to vent the room and keep bugs out. Shabby thin bedding and towels. Save ypur money up, use an actual resort and enjoy your trip to Bora Bora. I would not recommend this place to anyone. In fact my recommendation is for Expedia to remove their listing ftom this platform. The owner is only interestvin taking your reservation and money.

A few steps to the local shop and the best pizza from the wood oven. Bungalow rooms have fans, but still were not enough. There was no wind draft. so they were extremely uncomfortable to being inside or sleeping... but I will still probably come back there... ;) 😉

Def for seasoned travelers- great value f - Loved its individuality - when I first got there - thought "what a dump" - but really grew to love it - only place I'd stay when I return to BB. Taxis I found expensive - consider this when booking. $25 for 6 km ride to town- hence scooter hire .

Highly recommend the snorkeling trip. The accommodation is very basic (which we knew when we booked) but quite adequate for what you need for a beach holiday. The bed things on the beach are not very comfortable
• Adriana (10/5): Amazing place, impeccable service. I definitely recommend it! - The place is amazing, I booked the beachfront bungalow, the hotel's private beach. A wonderful view. We were very well received by the hotel host, who picked us up at the airport. The hotel has bikes for rent and lots of information about sightseeing. The beachfront bungalow has a well-equipped mini kitchen. There is a supermarket in front of the hotel, the beach is 2 minutes away, it has been considered one of the most beautiful in the world. I liked everything and I definitely recommend it and will be back. I have nothing to complain about, I liked everything.
• Christine (8/5): Great location and nice bungalows - The location was great We should have taken AC. It was very hot.
• Martin (10/5): Perfect - The location is great, the beach is always clean. Christian and Christine are excellent hosts, they answered all our questions to make the stay excellent. That they charged us 20 USD for late check-in, that never happened to me. and the kayak rental price a little high
• Stewart (8/5): Very good - Quite basic accommodation but still very comfortable. Loved the resident cats !! Awesome location ..great beach and very handy to supermarkets. Hotplate in kitchen took a long time to heat up!!!
