• Ji yeong (8/5): 가성비좋은 숙소, 조식은 별로 - 맞이해주는 주인분 친절하세요~ 방도 굉장히 넓고 이불 포근한 느낌이에요. 경치가 장난 아니에요~~~ 짱 좋아요. 조식은 만원주고 먹기에 아까워요. 일행은 조식이 가정식으로 돼 좋다했지만 전 별로였어요. 숙소에서 먹고 싶은 분이면 먹고 따로 먹을 것이 있다하면 비추요.
• Verified traveler (6/5): Ryokan in der Nähe des Bahnhofs - Yuri befindet sich in der Nähe des Bahnhofs, an einer grösseren Strasse. Die Schallisolation ist schlecht, man hört jedes Auto ziemlich laut. Es gibt einige Onsen im Freien, die man für 45 Minuten kostenlos buchen kann; der Grösste ist sehr schön. Allerdings war das Wasser ziemlich schmutzig, wie ich es in Japan noch nicht gesehen habe.

• HYEJIN (8/5): 별이 다섯개 ★★★★★ - 위치도 유후인역이랑 4분거리여서 찾아가는데 문제 없고 근처에 좀 큰 마트있어서 저녁 아침먹기도 편함 긴린코 호수도 가까워서 걸어갈만 하고 주인할머니도 인자하고 좋으심 료칸은 두말할거없이 좋음 온도도 적당하고 날씨도 시원해서 50분있는데 별탈없음 문제라면 샤워기가 물이 자꾸 끊겨서 계속 눌러줘야됨 그리고 방이 온돌이 아니여서 히터틀면 건조하고 히터를 끄면 추움 감기걸릴뻔:: 그거빼곤 정말 다 좋음 체크아웃하고 짐도 보관해주고 개꿀 담에 또 여행간다면 여기 꼭 다시갈꺼임

• Yang (10/5): 下次一定還要再來！！！ - 位置超棒，距離車站走路只需要5分鐘，距離主要逛街跟景點的入口只要3分鐘，住宿的內部設施很舒適放鬆外面環境也很優美～不懂日文的人如果遇到女老老闆跟服務員會很辛苦（但是有一位男性服務人員他的英語超好，沒有很重的日本口音所以很好懂） 下次再來由布院百合旅館仍然是我第一選擇！

• yeongsim (10/5): 버스터미널과 가깝고, 친절해요. - 아주머니랑 아주버님이 한국어는 못하시지만 아주 친절하게 의사소통이 가능토록 해주세요. 그리고 온천욕도 너무 좋았고, 숙소 내에 어느정도 샤워용품이 있다는 점. 밥이 기대이상으로 맛있었다는 점을 추천합니다. 아 제일 장점은 맥스밸류라는 대형마트 바로 옆에 있어서 마무리 일정으로 마트털이 후 료칸에서 한잔하기 좋아요.

• Jieun (10/5): 온천좋고 가격도 좋은 유후인 료칸 - 유후인에서 료칸체험을 하고 싶었는데 다른곳보다 비싸지 않으면서도 시설도 잘 되어 있는 곳입니다. 온천물도 깨끗하고 뜨끈뜨근한게 아주 좋았습니다. 이불도 깨끗하고 전반적으로 관리도 잘되어 있어서 남편과 아주 즐겁게 이용하고 왔어요. 다만 한국어는 안통하니 약간의 일어 하시면 더 편리하게 이용할듯 하네요. 사장님 할머니가 아주 친절하세요~ 조식도 잘나옵니다. 훌륭했어요

• 조기 (8/5): 가성비 갑! - 유후인 버스 터미널에서 가까워서 아주 좋았고 야외온천은 료칸 건물 내에 있는 게 깔끔하고 좋았어요. 직원 분들과도 간단한 영어랑 파파고로 번역해서 일본어로 소통하니까 크게 불편하진 않았어요. 4월 초에 갔는데 새벽에 추워서 중간에 깨서 히터 틀었어요!ㅠ
• Younghwan (8/5): 료칸은 너무 좋지만, 세세한 부분이 살짝 아쉽 - 료칸 자체는 너무 좋았어요. 세세한 부분이 좀 아쉬웠는데, 제가 로밍을 해갔었는데 제가 간 방이 3층 끝방이었는데 Wi-fi 가 안되더라구요 ㅠㅠ 어흑... 가뜩이나 유후인 밤 되면 할것도 없는데... 데이터는 다 되서 뭔가 할 것도 없고.. 맥스밸류에서 술이랑 안주거리 사와서 먹고 잤네요 : ) 그외에 주변에 맥스밸류있는거 큰 장점이고, 노천 온천도 정말 좋았습니다. 근데 거기서 술은 못마시게 한다고 들었어요. 그리고 일본어 못해도 사장님이 영어를 잘하셔서 이해하는데 전혀 어려움없었구요. 료칸 특유의 뭔가 냄새가 나는데, 제 취향은 아니었던지라 ㅎㅎ 그래도 료칸은 너무 깔끔하고 침구류도 폭신하고 좋았습니다. 그리고 방에서 테라스에 티를 마시면서 바깥 경치 구경할수 있게 되어있었는데, 비가와서 그런지 더 운치있었어요.

• Mei Na Barbara (10/5): 櫻花季節時的好住宿 - 旅館位於車站約6分鐘步程，旁邊是一條河，當櫻花盛開時，這裡一帶的景色很夢幻地優美！溫泉也是超級推介！一如我看到網上的評價一樣，這裏的圓形溫泉簡直是夢幻級享受！除了邊看月光邊浸溫泉之外，旅館主人還在溫泉池裏放入一些花瓣！很享受很開心！房間舒適溫暖，早餐也不錯，推介！

• Cheolhun (8/5): 즐거운 여행 ^^ - 주말예약이라 저렴하진 않았지만, 20m밖 야외온천은 매우 좋았습니다. 옆건물 실내 온천은 살짝 아쉬웠습니다(작아서). 실내 샤워시설이 있었으면 하는 아쉬움도 있고요. 주인아저씨도 친절하셨고요. 주변에 큰 마트도 있었지만 실내 술이 안된다고 하셔서, 많이 마시지 말라는 의미로 자체적으로 해석, 세가족이 딱 한병만 ^^.

• Stingrui11 (8/5): Quiet little ryokan.. - We stayed here one night and the 2 old ladies were very polite and helpful. We liked the outdoor onsen a lot and was happy with the breakfast provided as well. The rooms were of a good size and the only thing to point out is that there are no showers in the room, so you are expected to go to the onsen to shower.

• 499lynnel (6/5): Modern Roykan on River with Onsen (Hot Spa) Both Internal and External Onsens - A few housekeeping issues! - How to get there? We flew to Oita airport and got a bus to Beppu, stayed 2 nights and travelled by bus to Yufuin. The bus took one hour, ¥900 and went up a very steep forested incline. Train was more expensive ¥1100 and you need to change trains in Oita and takes 80 minutes. Buses run direct to Yufuin from Oita airport.In Yufuin the Train and Bus stations are about 150m apart. If coming to or from Nagasaki , you will be dropped off at the Yufuin interchange 2 kms out of town, takes 3.5 hours and ¥4000.Royken Yuri is about 450 metres from Yufuin station and the walk is easy and flat.The Royken is beside a river and bridge...low traffic noise. This is a modern concrete 3 storey building, the entry is nice....through the second door the impression starts to change somewhat......they are strict on 3pm check in ( even in a Typhoon!)... the Office has dishevelled paper everywhere and the reception seats are back breakers....obviously they are aware of the problem and have put in thin cushions on the seats. The staff have some English and we got by ( with a little help from Google Translator) they really tried to help us both.Hallways are very badly stained in multiple places on each floor, these carpets need urgent attention., i remember seeing an earlier review mentioning tne carpets and thought it would be fixed before our visit. Bathrooms This is a little tricky to explain, so here we go! Our room had a toilet and a sink, no bath or shower. The shower is on the ground floor where you have 2 seperate Onsen.From 6 to 9.30am these Onsen act as segregated male and female bathrooms.In the evening you can book both internal onsens privately for 40 minutes. These onsen are concrete rooms with grey/ black slate around the pool and floors and half way up the walls.....no atomsphere here...hairdryer is located in these internal onsens. External onsen, this is a private onsen and can be booked through reception, has atomsphere and is relatively private. Book at Reception for 40 mins from 3pm to 22.40pm.No charge for onsen use. The rooms are very clean, ours has a small balcony overlooking the small river and forests with 2 normal height chairs with ripped upholstery and a fridge.Small TV available with only Japanese Stations.Flooring is matting and the mattress is 1 or 2 inches thick! Air con works well.Comfortably sleeps 2 people. Breakfast is typical Japanese and was included in our tariff. Served Mackeral, rice, noodle, tofu, seaweed, egg, miso soup, salad, several deli like bits, orange juice and tea.Chairs and Tables western style for breakfast 😁 The Supermax supermarket is two doors away, so really handy for drinks and snacks.Restaurants in the main street are a 4 to 5 minute walk away, the main street goes for 1.5 kms. Royken closes it doors at 11pm in the evening. Yufuin is in a valley surrounded by green forests, hills and mountains with lots of thermal activity.
• Kwok Fun (8/5): Good location and comfortable hotel - A quite tiny hotel, good location ：7 mins. walk from railway station, nice and friendly hotel owner, with hot spring.
• Tsung (10/5): Nice location near the Yufuin station. - Friendly staff even though not good to speak english,they are kindly.Excellent location that can see the mount Yufu.
• Yanwan (8/5): Hospitality was A+! - Stayed here for 2 nights in November 2016 while on a side trip to Yufuin. The ryokan is just a short 5 minutes walk from the train station and I personally think it is an OK walk even with large luggage. It is located near a beautiful stream against the mountains and is just extremely welcoming. The ryokan is family owned and even though the lobby was outdated, the old Grandma and her son (I presume?) welcomed me with a wide smile and loud Konnichiwa! I arrived too early and was not able to go into my room but they were more than happy to store my backpack for me. Once my room was ready, the son gave me a rundown on the usage of the onsen/hot springs. Basically, there is an outdoor and two indoor onsens. The outdoor onsen is on appointment basis (40 mins per session) and is not available during the afternoon. The two indoor onsens are also on appointment basis (40 mins per session) but will be gender separated in the early morning before 930am so no appointment required. I would say that both onsen areas would require some maintenance/love as the facilities/amenities were pretty old. I'm sure a quick housekeeping and small renovation would perk them up a bit. The room was a traditional Japanese room with futons and lots of tatami space to relax. There is an elevator. The weird thing was that the shower was out of order. I'm not sure if it's a way to make the guests shower in the onsen only or if it was just my room. The view from the room was just amazing with the stream and mountains outside. The ryokan had free Wi-Fi but the TV channels were pretty limited. It was an extremely comfortable two nights stay. Location wise, it has a full supermarket right next door and is easily walkable to all the shops and restaurants around Yufuin which is a remarkable small touristy town.
• Chardonyay (10/5): We loved our visit - This ryokan was fantastic! It was out first stop after Tokyo. You have to walk a bit from the train station, or take a short cab ride. However, since we were already in Tokyo for a few days, we got used to walking. If you have large heavy luggage, take a cab. Food was very delicious. It's like eating a grand feat at every meal! They have the baths available on appointment basis if you like privacy. Highly recommended and looking forward to our return!
• Kobjob (10/5): wonderful room - Friendly staff and nice room. Just 7min walk from station and there are supermarket next to the place. The room is very nice, I got one at the corner with mountain and city view. At this rate everything is superb. Outdoor onsen is nice but can't see any view. Breakfast is light and enough to start your day.
• 148mintp (10/5): Nice room and wonderful onsen - Good experience for 3 onsen there. I visited with Breakfast and dinner, it was very nice Not far from station not over 5 minute, near supermarket. I got big strawberry there with cheap price, nice to each after onsen :) The owner is very nuce
• psomrang (8/5): Valued place in Yufu. - The ryokan is located 10 minutes walk from the hotel toward the river on the other side from the shopping street. The staffs are friendly and helpful on recommendation on facilities and the visit. The odd thing for us was that they always required us to leave the key at the front desk all the time when leaving the room. Even though we were just going to the onsen in ryokan. The onsen facilities were great both indoor and outdoor. But the outdoor is much bigger and better. The evening and night time 2 indoor onsens and the outdoor will take booking only, 40 minutes per room. Recommended to book the outdoor as the morning time the oudoor will be closed and use only indoor for men and women. Food was good and the dining room overlook to the moutain beautiful.
• 682siuy (10/5): Great place to stay - Friendly staff, nice onsen and a super beautiful mountai view. We stayed there with a baby and the staff are very understanding.
• cliffapple (10/5): Friendly staff, great service - Staff were friendly and put in effort in explaining the facilities of the ryokan. The day we arrived the onsens can be reserved to use privately by each room for the night, so since we have 2 rooms, we were able to book a longer time period which worked out great for us. The outdoor bath has a better view but indoor is good for winter time. Staff had recommended a great udon place nearby. Breakfast was a great spread in a private dining room with a fantastic morning view. Overall it was a great stay, highly recommended.
• worayat (8/5): Nice outdoor onsen - Don't miss out door onsen. Good value ryokan in Yufuin. Breakfast is ok. Walk to Jr 5 min. Good supermarket very near. We bought some snack and kitkat there cheaper than the other shop. View from room very nice.
• Nat2L (10/5): impressive ryokan! - We had a great time at Ryokan Yuri. Even the owner can't speak English, but he used application to translate! Impressive. Onsen can be reserved for your own private. Room is bigger comparing to hotels in town. Japanese breakfast served here also good.
