• Błażej (9/5): Last night in Morocco - For the fair price we got an authentic Moroccan Riad, excellent wood work, very pictures friendly place. Even though the host didn't speak in English (he was replacing his daughter who speaks English, we met her next morning) we were able to find a common language, a little bit of French and English with google translator and the problem is gone. A very warm welcome with a mint tea, the host explained everything patiently, the roof top is a best place for chilling with a 360 degree view including the ocean. Tasty breakfast. Hmmm, the bathroom is pretty outdated but still maintained on the acceptable level. This is an old house, so be prepared for some molds on the walls, this is normal in cold interiors. In our room there was no AC to warm up the temperature a little bit, but overall I can't complain too much. The location...I expected a bit better Medina with some restaurants and shops but it was disappointing so we jumped into the car and drove to the old medina on the other side of the river which took us around 20min due to heavy traffic around 7pm. If you have no car, the taxis are right behind the corner but I don't know the cost, based on my experience it shouldn't cost more than 120dh = 12eu

Servizio lavanderia da lei effettuato davvero perfetto, posizione strategica per raggiungere a piedi Rabat in 15 minuti o con piccole barche. Grazie!

The lady that welcomed us was very helpful, she gave us a map with most important places to visit and how to get there and it was very useful. Breakfast was nice, the location for us was great! We loved Sale, close to the Marina, just 10-15 min walk, then take a boat and get to the main attractions in Rabat. Parking very close and free It is located close to a Mosque so you could be woke up very early in the morning.

• Marina (9/5): Riad authentique et charmant ! - L'emplacement dans la médina était idéal pour des balades matinales comme nocturnes, et très authentique. L' accès au toit avec vue sur mer et les toits de la ville et Rabat était superbe. La gentillesse des hôtes, et surtout de Kaoutar. Le petit déjeuner traditionnel avec son fameux thé à la menthe ! La beauté du riad. Merci ! Le riad a beaucoup de charme, mais un petit coup de rénovation lui ferait du bien :) les chambres sont bien au frais (au top l'été, mais en hiver, pensez à prendre des vêtements chauds). L'eau chaude est probablement chauffée par le soleil, donc l'hiver prenez des douches rapides.

Bel Riad, la nostra stanza era enorme con 4 posti letto. Purtroppo a causa del tempo la stanza era molto frigida e fare la doccia non è stato così piacevole

• Steven (1/5): Completely frustrated with this place and more-so with Booking.com - The photos of this place look beautiful but it was freezing, without heat and the floor too dirty to endure, so we did not stay and they refused to refund our prepaid week - and Booking did not help. This was an extremely frustrating time with a place we couldn't endure and Booking..com could not or would not help get a refund from a place we did not stay even one night. We will never work with them again.
• Rhid-Allah (10/5): Proximité, populaire, richesse, culture… - J’ai aimé les hôtes qui sont aux petits soins,la propreté, les couvertures chauffantes( agréable en hiver 😅),le bon petit déjeuner servi ( mssemen, baghrir, thé à la menthe, omelette jus de fruit etc), l’emplacement au cœur de la médina de salé… sinon vous êtes à quelques stations de tram de la médina de Rabat (station qui se trouve à 15 min) ou pour les plus téméraires vous pouvez prendre une barque du côté de la marina (10min), traverser le Bouregreg et vous retrouver à Rabat. Aussi, pour ceux qui aiment le train, la gare de salé est à 20 min à pied. Légèrement humide en hiver à cause de la météo.

• Klaudia (5/5): - Obsługa przemiła, lokalizacja super. Niestety trafiliśmy na deszcowa pogodę a to skutkowało niska temperatura więc było zimno bardzo zimno. Jedyny plus to podgrzewane maty na łóżkach, ale w lazience było bardzo zimno i nie można było się umyć. Ciśnienie wody i jej temperatura też pozostawiały wiele do życzenia. Ogólnie Riad przepiękny ale na wiosnę i lato. Przy deszczowej pogodzie przeciekał nam dach w pokoju. Brak ogrzewania i wentylacji powoduje wilgoci na ścianach.
• Erica (10/5): Riad in stile marocchino, con parcheggio molto vicino - Personale gentilissimo, entrambi parlano un po’ di italiano e la signora ci ha fornito una mappa e ci ha indicato un percorso sia per il primo sia per il secondo giorno per vedere i punti salienti di Rabat. Riad molto bello in perfetto stile marocchino. Molto comodo per parcheggiare la macchina. Non c’era il phon e non c’era nemmeno il condizionatore per l’aria calda

• Matt (6/5): Warm welcome and freezing stay - The staff are very friendly and the location is very chill if you want to be away from central Rabat in a very local medina. The owner provided some excellent restaurant recommendations and I enjoyed taking the little rowing boat across to Rabat. The breakfast got progressively better during my five day stay with some delicious soups to warm my bones. The room was very cold. It was December, but there is no heating (only electric blankets) and felt colder in the room than outside. There was a lot of rain in Rabat-Sale and the ceiling leaked. The lack of hot water (tepid, at best) was also a problem. There were also a few small problems (room was only set up with 2 beds, despite being described as a 3 bed room) that were fixed. But I can't recommend this riad in the winter, it's just too cold.

Ci hanno organizzato il transfer per l'aeroporto: tutto perfetto. Molto vicino alla strada principale quindi comodo sia per lasciare l'auto che ripartire con un taxi.

• Zsofia (6/5): - Nette Besitzerin , Bettwärmer Frühstück war in Ordnung Es war alles sehr alt und abgenutzt daher hat es nicht so sauber ausgesehen. Fenster lassen sich nicht schließen. Es war unsere teuerste Unterkunft in Marokko und leider die schlechteste.
• Roberto e Family (1/5): Più che una Riad una “Truffa” - Purtroppo poco. La Riad si presenta sul Bookings.com come dotata di “riscaldamento” e di “ristorante” e invece non è presente nulla di tutto ciò. La descrizione risulta pertanto fuorviante per chi la sceglie per queste due caratteristiche: famiglia con bambini che hanno bisogno di un Luogo accogliente, adeguatamente riscaldato in inverno e magari con il ristorare che permetta di avere una base comoda e non dover uscire per forza anche a cena. Purtroppo al nostro arrivo abbiamo visto che l’unico riscaldamento delle stanze era rappresentato da una “coperta termica”: immaginate il risveglio al “ freschino” umido del Mattino invernale….e magari dover fare la doccia….. Alla nostra richiesta di spiegazioni la signora presente ha detto che lei non sapeva nulla di quanto scritto sulla piattaforma Bookings.com e che era colpa loro l’incomprensione. Abbiamo deciso di andare via e non soggiornare lì: praticamente una “truffa” La assoluta mancanza di empatia e comprensione da parte di chi ci ha accolto ala Riad.

• Simona (10/5): Accoglienza e bellezza - L’accoglienza e la bellezza della struttura. La stanza in stile marocchino con le tende era molto ampia e carina, il bagno in camera aveva tutto il necessario per una notte, al nostro arrivo Mohamed ci ha fatto trovare le coperte calde visto che faceva freddo, ci hanno servito la colazione tipica marocchina proprio nell’atrio davanti alla nostra camera, super comodo! Tornerei super volentieri a trascorrere del tempo lì! Nulla, tutto perfetto

• elena (10/5): - L' accoglienza del gestore , che è stato gentile a indicarci un posto dove cenare anche se tardi e trovare un taxi a prezzo onesto per l' aeroporto il mattino seguente. Il Riad è molto bello , camera e bagno spaziosi e puliti. Noi siamo stati a dicembre e c'era un accogliente coperta termica per la notte. Ottima colazione. Peccato esserci stati solo una notte. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo.

Plusieurs solutions de parking à 2 minutes ( gratuit France à la pharmacie, 10 DH l'un ou l'autre parking gardé de part et d'autre de la rue, avec préférence sur celui côté cimetière) Nous avons été accueillis par une très souriante dame qui parle super bien le français, très agréable, serviable et d'une grande gentillesse. Elle nous a même proposé la suite à la place de notre chambre qui était déjà très belle. Nous étions gênés mais nous avons accepté. ...... wouah 😍😍 exceptionnel. La suite est majestueuse, située à la hauteur de la terrasse qui est immense et ttes belle avec une vue splendide sur Rabat. L'endroit est très calme, en tout cas en cette période. ( Un peu de raisonnance dans l'établissement mais comme on était les seuls....) Tout est propre, la salle de bains grandiose ( eau chaude avec une pression juste mais ça évite le gaspillage) , la literie excellente, tout le linge et le nécessaire de maison, toilettes ok, le PDJ très bien. Nous regrettons juste de ne pas être restés plus longtemps ( dernier jour de séjour) car le papa est super intéressant et adorable. Prenez cette adresse si vous arrivez par ici. Très bien situé par rapport à la gare ( 3 min), à l'aéroport ( 16 min), les stations essence et lavage ( 4min), Rabat ( 8 min).... Pas trop de restaurants par contre mais nous avons trouvé super bien "la perle noire", vers la gare à 5 min en voiture où se garer est facile . Si non, si vous demandez à l'avance, ils font aussi restaurant. Nous avons oublié de demander 🤷. Ps: il manque l'omelette sur la photo du PDJ 🤪 Peut-être le manque de pression dans la douche et en novembre, un peu juste en température dans la suite.

Parking gratuit à proximité permettant de se garer facilement. L'emplacement du Riad, qui permet de visiter Salé et ses attractivités et de l'autre côté, Rabat. L'odeur d'humidité dans la chambre.

Abbiamo alloggiato nella suite che comprendeva una camera padronale, una seconda stanza da letto, un atrio e un bagno ampio con doppio lavandino, doccia chiusa e bidet. Il proprietario era molto gentile e ci ha preparato una buona colazione abbondante, oltre ad averci dato, assieme alla figlia, degli ottimi consigli.

Appena entrati siamo rimasti stupiti dal sapore autentico e la storicità della struttura, tra l'altro grandissima. Ad accoglierci con grande gentilezza la figlia di Mohamed. Dopo il classico check in ci ha mostrato e consegnato una piantina della città dandoci consigli sull'itinerario da seguire e le attrazioni da visitare. Siamo rimasti stupiti per questo perché, tra i vari Riad in cui abbiamo pernottato, è stata l' unica ad avere questa attenzione per il suo ospite. Il giorno seguente abbiamo avuto il piacere di conoscere Mohamed, persona squisita che si è felicemente trattenuto a parlare con noi. Durante la prima notte abbiamo avuto un problema nella camera con la caldaia dell' acqua e la mattina successiva dopo aver segnalato il problema, al nostro rientro in tarda sera, lui ci ha aspettato per spiegarci il disguido ed ha provveduto a cambiarci la camera....anzi una super suite favolosa!!!!! Che dire... ancora grazie!! Consigliamo di soggiornare al Riad Jabador per l'accoglienza, la bellissima struttura e la sua posizione. Sicuramente avrete modo di assaporare un luogo magico all' interno del Riad e altrettanto magica la vista all' interno della medina di Salè, un vero tesoro nascosto del Marocco.

En début octobre plus de personnel, pour vous acceuillir, il a fallu appeller des dizaines de fois avant que quelqu'un vienne vous ouvrir la porte et reparte aussi tôt ! une bouteille d'eau aurait été la bien venue même payante dans la chambre !

• susana (10/5): Riad como en familia - El Riad es precioso, tiene más de 300 años de antigüedad. Por lo que por unos días nos sentimos como en las mil y una noches. Ubicado en la tranquila ciudad de Sale. La habitación y baño muy espaciosos y limpio. Desayuno típico marroquí recién preparado, delicioso. Destacar sobre todo a los propietarios ( padre, hija y sus dos nietecillas) te hacen sentir como en casa desde el primer momento. Ayudan al viajero a planificar su visita tanto a la ciudad de Sale ( donde se ubica el Riad) como Rabat. Desde el Riad se puede dar un bonito paseo por la Medina de Sale ( ver el mercado local ) y llegar a la parada del moderno tranvía, por 1€ se puede llegar a la Medina de Rabat o también se puede dar un paseo hasta el río y coger un barco que lo cruza hasta Rabat ( con unas bonitas vistas durante el corto trayecto). Sin lugar a dudas recomiendo 100% este Riad y si volvemos sin duda nos alojaremos aquí Todo estuvo perfecto

• Christel (10/5): Zeer aan te raden verblijf voor een bezoek aan Rabat. - De vader en dochter die voor ons zorgden waren echt zeer vriendelijk en waren altijd beschikbaar. Ze gaven ons het gevoel dat we thuis waren en de dochter (sorry we zijn je naam vergeten) gaf ons gratis een route voor de verkenningstocht door Rabat. De locatie is ideaal, je zit niet in het drukke Rabat maar wat rustiger en je bent zo met de tram in Rabat. Het is wel wat gehorig maar je waant je in een 1001 nacht sprookje, alles aan de inrichting in het verblijf klopt. We komen graag terug!! Alles klopte! Het ontbijt was ook heerlijk!

Il riad è veramente affascinante e inserito in un contesto molto piacevole e comodo a Sale, la colazione è buonissima e tutti i servizi ottimi. Non poteva essere altrimenti, con la cura e la passione dedicate alla sua attività dal signor Ahmed, che accoglie gli ospiti con professionalità ma in un'atmosfera calda e familiare. Abbiamo imparato da lui tantissimo, chiacchierando anche in italiano, e siamo persino stati invitati a uno strabiliante matrimonio marocchino. Grazie davvero, caro Ahmed!

• Sara (8/5): - Riad Jabador was a really good find. The host was superb and very helpful, plus the room was spacious, comfortable and clean. You cannot get to the riad door by car but you can park on the main road which is close. If you are on a motorbike like us you can fit it inside the riad :). Not really anything bad to mention.
• Isabel (9/5): A wonderful Riad with a very friendly owner - This is an absolutely beautiful, 300 year old Riad. The wood and tiles and decor were incredible. We loved the Riad! The owner and his family were so so lovely and attentive and really made us feel welcome! My sons enjoyed talking to the owner's little grandchildren who were so adorable!! Sale is very quirky and everyone we met was really nice. This apartment was a short walk and tram ride away from Rabat! My children enjoyed the breakfast which was mainly pancakes and thin crumpets!! And I loved the coffee and orange juice :) delicious. There was a fridge in the room which was great to store bottled water. There were plenty of plug sockets in the room to use, which was great! We had a great stay, thank you! The room was very hot with no fans or air conditioning. We understand having air conditioning in such a traditional old property is difficult, but a fan would have made a huge difference in terms of comfort in mid-August! Sadly the noise on our first night kept us all awake as there was a music festival near-by. The second night we hoped to sleep better as the festival had finished. However, we heard loud motorbikes and shouting and people talking outside our window until about 5am! So none of us were able to sleep and we are all a bit tired today and looking forward to catching up on sleep in our next apartment! There are lots of services and facilities advertised on booking.com for this property which just simply don't exist. I think maybe it's a translation problem or something but please be mindful when booking that this is a BASIC place to stay with no mod cons, no manned reception, no extras.. It is very expensive for what you get. (I'm sure it was lovely a few years ago). The shower attached to our family room was running hot and cold and it was not really possible to find a good temperature! It needs an update sadly! The room was spacious and looked beautiful but there was a smell of faeces by the door to the room, so we just avoided that area. There was some confusion at the end of our stay when we were charged for the free airport shuttle that had been provided on our arrival. I guess the free shuttle wasn't free :) Perhaps it was my error. Anyway, this facility is no longer available on booking.com, so it will probably not impact anyone else. Anyway, its easy and cheap just to get a regular taxi from the airport if you need it.
• Jalila (9/5): Fabuleux séjour en famille - Nous avons séjourné au Riad Dar Jabador avec mes deux filles adolescentes et avons été immédiatement séduites par l’accueil exceptionnel de Hajj Ahmed et de sa fille Kawtar, qui incarnent à merveille les valeurs et l’hospitalité marocaines. Le riad est magnifique, calme, chargé d’histoire et très intimiste, ce qui permet de se sentir rapidement à l’aise. Le petit déjeuner traditionnel marocain est généreux et délicieux, un vrai moment de plaisir chaque matin. La proximité est idéale pour aller à la plage populaire de Salé ville (10min à pieds) ou se rendre dans la prestigieuse capitale de Rabat de l'autre côté du fleuve. Un lieu plein de charme, où l’on se sent comme chez soi. Nous repartons avec de très beaux souvenirs et l’envie de revenir ! Notre chambre était un peu chaude car l'établissement n'est pas climatisé, mais un grand ventilateur puissant, combiné à la proximité d'océan et à son vent frais, a rendu le séjour très agréable.
