• Amy (5/5): Inaccurate room description - The room description is not accurate - there is no air conditioning, just a broken fan. We specifically booked for a room with air conditioning as my husband struggles without, when we questioned the property owners we received no response. We were given a takeout breakfast which was lack lustre and overall did not find this property good value for money.

• Gail (10/5): A great North Vancouver find. - Was appreciated that there was a 2 hr window for breakfast instead of 1 set time. A later noon checkout was good. River at the end of the backyard was terrific....both for hearing at night and to sit by in the provided Adirondack chairs. So peaceful!
• Suzanna (9/5): Clean and comfortable - We stayed 4 nights and the room was cleaned every day. The room was big, with a very nice terrace looking at the river, no noises except for the river, the bed was big and comfortable (not very hard). The hosts were very nice and prepared breakfast every morning: coffee or tea, a bowl of cutted fruits and either an omelette with vegetables, or a waffle, or a croissant (we are vegetarian). I recommend the stay.

• Jacques (2/5): Attentie: je kunt de airconditioning zelf niet aanzetten! - De lokatie,heel mooi, Naast een bergriviertje Je kunt de airconditioning zelf niet aanzetten. Het mas 31 C buiten, de zon van het zuid westen komt direct in de kamer via de vele vensters. Het terrasje voor de kamer is bedekt met metalen platen wat het onhoudbaar warm maakt. We contacteerden de eigenaar maar na 2 uur reageerde deze uit eten te zijn en beloofde deze de airco aan te zetten bij zijn terugkomst.Wat hij ook deed. Zo konen we inslapen. Om 00:30 werden we opnieuw wakker en geen airco meer maar nog 24,5 graad . Om 4 uur hebben we beslist alle vensters en deuren te openen maar dan hadden we het geluid van de rivier. Een vreselijke nacht!

• Charles (10/5): Perfect stay in North Vancouver. - We loved the amazing views and the convenience of staying here. The room was spacious with everything we needed and a lovely view of the river. Our hosts were welcoming but not overbearing. Breakfast was always delicious and varied and it was lovely to catch up with other guests and get tips and advice from Michael (and the dogs too). Overall, a great place to stay and we’d definitely come back on our next trip to Vancouver.

• Mark (10/5): Exceptional - From the moment we arrived Michael made us feel at home. Our room had an amazing view overlooking the river that flows at the bottom of the garden. Each morning Michal surprised us with a different freshly made breakfast along with as much coffee we wanted. We chatted most mornings and got a lot of great suggestions of places to visit. If we ever return to Vancouver we will return to them gladly. Our time ran out

Walls might be considered a little thin because we could hear voices from room next door, but not clear enough to make out the conversation. It did not interfere with our sleep in any way.

Beautiful trails beginning a few blocks from the house. We didn’t have a car and didn’t realize when we made the reservation how far it was from the city of Vancouver. We had to uber wherever we needed to go.

• Taimaz (10/5): Relaxing, quiet, and a wonderful place to rest - The calm by the river, and close to the forests, with lots of trails for an afternoon hike. The host was very friendly. The breakfast portion was just right. The only thing that came up was that the host entered our room on the second day and tidied the bed while we were out, without asking us first. I think it's better to inform guests about this.

• Marian (10/5): Perfect location to visit Vancouver when you want a quiet and comfortable nightrest. - Everything: The comfortable bedroom, the quiet surrounding, the view at the river, the delicious breakfast and you are near to the Highway so you can reach Vancouver Centre and other locations like the Suspension Bridge in Capilano Park easily. Nothing.
• Patricia (10/5): Absolutely wonderful, 5 star! - The Riverfront is in a magical and peaceful setting. The home is very beautiful, most comfortable bed, and absolutely spotless. Michael and his wife are lovely hosts and the breakfasts are superb. This will always be our pick when we are in town! The only picky thing was the blow dryer in our bathroom was on its last legs. Easily handled :)

Breakfast in a pleasant setting was very welcome before setting out for ferry. Parking in forecourt. The only comment I have is that for those of us sensitive to chemicals, the sheeting and towels had a residual smell of detergent.

We had access to the backyard and could seat in front of the river. The place was in a beautiful area of Vancouver; although, it was not close to groceries. I strongly recommend this place.

Michael was a very kind and helpful host, and prepared a delicious breakfast. The room and house were exceptionally clean and well appointed. The location is easy to reach and while quiet and secluded, it is close to shops and attractions. I very much enjoyed my stay and recommend Michael's home to others.

Really enjoyed the fruit plate each morning. The variety in the rest of the meal each day was much appreciated. And most of all - the good conversation with the host! I appreciated the request to wear slippers in the house. It keeps the dirt and grime for the outside - out of the house. Loved the back yard and the Seymour River. The carved turtle on the tree trunk was a wonderful repurposing of a tree that had died. The traffic jam at the bridge - so you have to adjust to go at a different time of the day when it isn't so busy.

Expedia charged me another $50 which wasn't listed in the estimated cost to stay at the property. Inconvenient to deal with getting receipts to expense the trip. Waste of my time. • John (10/5): Best find in a long time. - What a gem. I have family in north Vancouver and had been staying at a major hotel chain when visiting. This B&B will now be my go to. Exceptional stay, from the gracious, wonderful host to the peaceful environment to the sound of the river flowing by, the delicious breakfast and the engaging conversation. 11/10 stars. So glad I found this! Thank you again. I didn't like the overpriced major hotel I had stayed at. The Riverfront B&B is perfect.

• Stansfield (7/5): A Strange Breakfast! - Nice modern and clean room with a great view over the garden and river. Friendly welcoming staff. Breakfast without choice. Without being asked we were served fruit, then waffles and then served a savoury pancake on the same plate as the waffles that was only luke warm. Never had peas with waffles before! We were also sat on the same table as other guests who had finished their meal which made it feel slightly awkward as they sat and watched us eat. I also feel it was over priced for what we received.
