Benjamin (10/5): Perfect location and stay in the castle district, no better way to visit Budapest - There is no other location I would prefer anywhere in the city. The perfect spot in the castle district. A short walk to everything, but on a quiet street, with a quiet courtyard tucked behind a lovely bistro. Bus stops right down the street in either direction connect you affordably to the rest of the city, or taxi service can drop you off out front with little other vehicle traffic. The service ofthe staff in the hotel and the bistro was excellent. Couldn't imagine better. These are quibbles: the air conditioning could blow a little colder. We were there for very mild days in May, but even then, the stone of the courtyard can heat up and I have to imagine in the summer months, it'd be good to have a little more oomph to combat the heat. The lighting in the room was okay, but - as a rule - everything would look better with fewer overhead lights and more lamps, wall sconces, etc.

The food was excellent both for the included breakfast and also for lunch and dinner. The staff were friendly and very responsive to our needs. The location is in the Castle Hill district close to some beautiful buildings and it is also on the bus route for easy access to the Pest side of the Danube. We would highly recommend this boutique hotel.

Andreas (9/5): - Tolle Lage, gemütliches Hotel mit sehr freundlichem Personal und gutem Essen. Bergbus direkt vor der Haustür. Nur 5 Minuten zu Fuß von der Fischerbastei entfernt, so dass man auch frühmorgens und spätabends entgegen der Touristenströme die Bastei und Matthiaskirche besuchen kann! Corinne (10/5): Convivialite du personnel, calme appréciable du lieu, grande qualité du petit déjeuner. - Le personnel est aux petits soins, parlant français avec plaisir et avec toujours le sourire. Le petit déjeuner est qualitatif et succulent avec de petites attentions comme un verre de smoothie différent chaque matin. La chambre est extrêmement agréable avec une petite terrasse, un grand lit, la salle de bain est un petit bonheur de confort avec des produits de qualité. L’emplacement est idéal, à deux pas du Bastions des pêcheurs, du château et du Palais Royal. Le centre de Pest est accessible facilement à pied ou en bus. De nombreux restaurants aux alentours mais l’hôtel et le quartier, résidentiel, sont extrêmement calmes. Absolument rien à redire sur cet établissement.

Simona (10/5): Grazie a tutti! - Proprio nel cuore di Buda patrimonio dell’umanità, posto molto accogliente tranquillo e pulito, di quelli che ti fanno venire voglia di restare e rende difficile il ritorno. Personale gentile e premuroso. Molto comodo il fatto che sia anche bistrò. Il cibo è davvero buono, ma è ottimo anche se si vuole semplicemente bere qualcosa in un’atmosfera super rilassante. Per quanto mi riguarda è stata la scelta migliore anche perché per arrivare a Pest ci si mette poco: per chi vuole fare una bellissima passeggiata bastano 20 minuti, ma c’è anche l’autobus e Uber con prezzi abbastanza convenienti. Grazie e tutti perché è anche lo staff che rende buona una vacanza. Se la città è bella, ma si sceglie male il posto in cui si soggiorna, la vacanza è per buona parte rovinata.

Z6894SPjayneh (10/5): Fabulous Hotel and location - The location, staff, food and the hotel itself are all amazing. Located in the Buda Castle area - a fabulous spot - easy access to the Matthias church, Fisherman’s Bastion and a short walk down to the Chain Bridge and Parliament Houses. If you’re 65 or over free bus trips back up to the castle district. The staff were so friendly and helpful - nothing was too much trouble. The double bed room was actually a king size bed. Extremely comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was wonderful ranging from cold meats, cheeses, cereals, fruit, croissants, pastries and a yummy selection of hot foods. We had 2 evening meals there and again the quality of the food was first class as was the Hungarian wine. We were only there 3 full days and highly recommend the hop on and off bus service. We were two female friends holidaying together and felt extremely safe and welcome - the Hungarian people are very friendly and helpful. I’d go back to the Madison next time I visit
