Grote regendouche afgeschermd van de rest van de badkamer met glas. Leuk door reis hotel. De airco is wat ouder waardoor hij wat lawaai maakte. Hadden geen warm water bij het douchen. Hebben er wel 1 nacht geslapen.

Breakfast was substantial and filling - fresh fruit platter, juice, cereal or egg&sausage platter, French toast, cake, cookies, toast /jam+ tea or coffee. The balcony is extra plus - we spent a lot of time there, it was very romantic. Breakfast was not big, but nice. Location is very comfortable - it is near to all interesting places, but far from crowds. And the view from the room is beautiful. We haven’t any problems or things to unlike here.

- Christoph (8/5): Ein schöner Aufenthalt in Top-Lage mit sehr nettem Personal. - Ein sehr schönes Hotel für einen kurzen Zwischenstopp in Kandy. Das Personal ist sehr nett und super zuvorkommend. Die Lage ist absolut Top und auch das Essen sehr zu empfehlen. Grundsätzlich merkt man dem Gebäude an, dass es ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen ist und man evtl. einige Sachen erneuern könnte. Das sind allerdings Details die dem Großen und Ganzen keinen großen Punktabzug geben. Ich möchte nicht sagen Sanierung, aber es könnte durchaus ein wenig erneuert werden.

- Deborah (8/5): Great Kandy Hotel - Perfect location on the lake, 10 min walk to the temple and an extra 5 min to the town centre/old town. Although you have to cross the road to the lake side and it can be a bit daunting with all the traffic whizzing by! The room was very large, and so was the bathroom and everything worked perfectly. Bed was very comfortable, the air conditioning unit was a bit loud. If you look closely you can see the hotel needs a lick of paint and updating a bit, but otherwise it was perfect for 2 nights. It was very close to some nice restaurants too. The staff were lovely and always willing to help. Nothing really, we felt very comfortable and relaxed there.

Wir hatten ein Zimmer ohne Seeblick (303), dadurch war es ruhiger, da es nicht auf die Strasse gerichtet ist. Jedoch war es ziemlich warm im Zimmer, es hat aber eine Klimaanlage und einen Balkon. Das Frühstück war lecker, das Personal freundlich. Man kann am See entlang ins Zentrum laufen. Klimaanlage könnte sauberer sein.

- Jana Sophia (9/5): - Sehr gut ausgestattetes und geräumiges Zimmer, Sauberkeit top. Toller Ausblick auf den See. Whirlpool war nach einem anstrengenden Tag genau das richtige um zu entspannen. Lärm von der Straße war auch nachts deutlich wahrnehmbar. Das Essen im Restaurant des Hotels hat uns persönlich nicht überzeugt, da es wenig gewürzt war.

- Tessa (10/5): Beautiful lakeside spot in Kandy with amazing staff - We stayed one night here as we transited via Kandy, the staff were so incredibly kind and attentive and the location is nice and calm on the lake. We were upgraded to the king suite which is the most spacious hotel room we have ever had. We would definitely stay again! Nothing!
- Jessica (7/5): Schöne Unterkunft für Frühaufsteher - Affen direkt vor der Zimmertür, war schön mit anzusehen. Schönes großes Zimmer. Direkt in der Nähe gibt es einen großen schönen Kinderspielplatz. Schimmel im Bad, Frühstücksbereich nicht gemütlich, recht lieblos gestaltet. Aber das nervigste: Jeden Morgen um 7 Uhr wurden irgendwelche Betten, Stühle oder sonstiges verrückt. Das war super laut und alle wurden davon wach. Leider sind wir keine Frühaufsteher.
- Magdalene (5/5): Für eine Nacht zum Sightseeing okay - Uns hat gefallen, dass man die Stadt und einige Sehenswürdigkeiten fußläufig erreichen konnte. Die Aussicht auf den See ist ganz schön. Das Frühstück war lecker und das Personal freundlich. Die Straße ist sehr laut und staubig. Deswegen war es auch nicht gerade schön auf dem Balkon zu sitzen. Bei einem dreitägigen Aufenthalt wurde das Zimmer nie gemacht und auch die Handtücher wurden nicht gewechselt. Mussten nach frischen Handtüchern fragen. Es roch nicht gut im Zimmer wegen der Abgase der Straße.

Bedroom was large and the bed was comfortable. Staff very helpful too. Think there should be a handrail on the stairway to help us old uns.

- Alissa (10/5): - Sehr schöne Lage direkt am See in Kandy, quasi um die Ecke vom berühmten Zahntempel. Außerordentlich freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal. Das Zimmer war riesig mit einem großen Balkon. Das Einzige, was wir anmerken würden ist, dass es direkt an der Straße liegt und unser Balkon direkt auf die Straße (und aber auch den See) hinausgegangen ist, weshalb es sehr früh morgens durch den Verkehr sehr laut wurde.

Het restaurant waar we 1 keer gegeten hebben had ruime keus en eten was lekker Helaas op 4everdieping zonder lift en er was geen fatsoenlijke brandtrap en meerdere treedjes in de kamer welke slecht zichtbaar waren

- Ondyk (10/5): Krásný hotel s výhledem na Kandy - Krásný hotel na břehu jezera Kandy. Měli jsme velké apartmá v podkroví. V pokoji byla velká vířivá vana, s velkým panoramatickým výhledem na Kandy. Využili jsme i hotelovou restauraci, dobře vařili. Snídaně byla servirovaná, včetně ovoce. Velmi dobrá poloha hotelu, jen měl řidič problém před hotelem zaparkovat, byly tam odstavené 2 tuk-tuky, a museli jsme stát u krajnice, kde byl hustý provoz, včetně autobusů, které neustále troubily, než jsme vyložili své věci.

- Maike (8/5): Sehr sauberes Hotel mit großen Zimmern und äußerst hilfsbereitem Personal, direkt an Hauptstraße - Die Zimmer sind groß, sehr sauber und angenehm eingerichtet. Das Personal war außergewöhnlich freundlich und hilfsbereit. Besonders positiv fand ich, dass mir sogar spät am Abend noch geholfen wurde, als mein Kleid durch Curryflecken verschmutzt war und es kurzerhand gewaschen wurde, damit keine Flecken zurückbleiben. Das Hotel liegt direkt an einer stark befahrenen Straße, was ich vor der Buchung so nicht wahrgenommen hatte.

- Yvonne (9/5): Great place to stay over in Kandy to see main attractions beside the lake - Rooms were a really good size. Beds were very comfortable and big and balcony was really big with views on the lake. Also just a 5 minute walk to the temple of the sacred tooth relic.

- R.B. (9/5): - Es kommt ganz darauf an, welches Zimmer man bekommt. Unser erstes angeblich deluxe comfort Zimmer war eine Katastrophe. Nach unserer Beschwerde haben wir ein anderes Zimmer erhalten, das etwas besser war. Danach hatten wir für weitere 2 Tage eine Suite gebucht. Diese war wirklich toll, wurde jeden Tag gereinigt und hatte eine super Aussicht. Die Lage war sehr gut, alles fußläufig erreichbar.

- Joseph (5/5): Good for a short visit. - The property is in a good location away from the volume and madness that is Kandy. The staff are very lovely and so helpful. The restaurant is also good. The rooms are not amazing. They are very dated. Our room was comfortable and the bathroom was okay but it didn’t feel like what the photos might suggest. It was good for one night but we wouldn’t have stayed more.

- Barb (5/5): Good position, has potential to be delightful but needs a good clean and thorough maintenance - It was well situated on the road beside the lake, which was 4kms in circumference . An easy walk to the Tooth Temple, the theatre etc. the beds were comfortable, and the view lovely. It is a small hotel with 4 rooms on 2 floors with a restaurant on the ground floor and reception on the first floor, and rooms on the floors above that. No elevator It was not well maintained. It was dirty. We had to call staff several times to : replace the safe, clean the hair from the shower outlet, clean the dirt and mould from the shower, show us how to run on the tv ( tricky and no instructions), There were no bedside lights so the main light had to be turned out at a main switch and then find the bed in the dark. Service at breakfast was very slow

The staff were very friendly, however didn’t really help us when we had tourist questions about things. When speaking to staff about trains and what not they sent us there knowing that there were none etc. we’re not very informative as I would have expected. But all very lovely! It was a nice property, was clean we did have. Cockroach on our table next to the bed and the seats at the window were pretty well stained so didn’t feel comfortable sitting on them as they were quite dirty.

Notre chambre vue sur ville avait des fentopaques donnant dans une réserve et la seconde fenêtre était dans la salle de bain, sans vue ville. Clim bruyante
