- Guadalupe (10/5): - Staying at Nima Local House Hotel was unforgettable—more like being welcomed into a beautiful home than a hotel. The warm, elegant atmosphere, stylish rooms, and cozy common spaces made every moment special.
What truly sets Nima apart is the personalized care. From thoughtful restaurant recommendations to making my husband’s 31st birthday unforgettable, the team went above and beyond in ways you rarely find. Breakfast on the terrace was a highlight, beautifully prepared, full of flavor and the perfect way to start your day.
Special thanks to Diego and Ian for their incredible hospitality, and to Elizabeth and Alejandra for keeping everything spotless and welcoming. Every interaction felt heartfelt, and the service was always tailored specifically to us making us feel both at home and cared for.
We left with amazing memories and can’t wait to return—highly recommended for anyone visiting Mexico City.

- portiac599 (10/5): The best hotel in Roma Norte! - I love Nima! This is the best hotel - the service, small details, staff, food, and rooms are fantastic! Everything is super clean as well. Whatever we needed, the staff was happy to help and always super friendly. I love the rooms and entire hotel. The bed is so comfy and rooms have such a great design. Can’t wait to come back!
- Z1624UNjeffreya (10/5): A must in México city - This was one of the best hotels my wife and I have ever stayed at especially to the level of above and beyond that the hosts go to make sure you feel at home and well taken care of. I would stay there every time we go back to Mexico City . If you choose this place you won’t be disappointed. And the Spa is also a must .
- josepE6738DP (10/5): A beautiful hotel in the heart of Roma - The customer service is amazing, forma the lovley breakfast to the Night Service. Our stay was wonderfull the Spa service is amazing
- EmmaB1948 (10/5): exceptional - Everything about Nima Louse House Hotel and Spa was exceptional, from the staff to the location and the rooms. This is a boutique 4 room hotel in a great neighbourhood surrounded by good bars and restaurants. The staff went above and beyond to be helpful and make our stay one we won't forget. Thank you
- Emma (10/5): Excellent - Excellent staff, very helpful. Loved the small size of the hotel, having only 4 rooms made it feel a very personal experience. The hotel is situated in a great area surrounded by many great restaurants and bars. nil
- M6746KElindaj (4/5): Charming Setting, But Service Fell Short - I booked Nima Local House with high expectations after reading so many glowing reviews. The property itself is undeniably charming ,beautifully designed, with a boutique feel that initially made me excited about my stay. Unfortunately, the service and overall experience didn’t match the setting.
Several of my requests during the stay were either not followed up on or simply overlooked. The staff was polite but often seemed unsure how to respond to even basic needs. For a hotel in this category, I expected a higher level of professionalism and attentiveness.
The room looked lovely at first glance, but I was surprised to find a noticeable amount of dust under the bed and a strange smell, small details, but enough to make me question the overall cleanliness. I also asked to speak with a manager about some of my concerns but was told they weren’t available, and no one followed up, which felt dismissive.
Lastly, I was charged for a chocolate that had been left in the room. There was no indication it came at an additional cost ,no tag, note, or explanation ,so I assumed it was a complimentary treat. The charge itself was minor, but the lack of transparency left a negative impression.
Overall, Nima has so much potential, and I can see why others have had positive experiences. But for me, the poor attention to detail and unpolished service made it difficult to fully relax and enjoy the stay. I hope this feedback is taken constructively, as I truly believe the hotel could offer something special with more consistency and care.
- 566genab (10/5): AMAZING - This place was absolutely PERFECT. The people are incredibly nice. It is beautiful. The breakfast was delicious as well.
- Jonah (10/5): - Some of the best service I’ve ever received. Perfect location. Small but functional rooms.
- n443 (10/5): Urban oasis - An urban oasis in an amazing location. We spent three days and could have spent another week just exploring all the places around. Top notch service. A true boutique hotel with cute quirks. Hotel organized transportation and anything else we needed. . Highly recommend.
- Extraordinary773564 (10/5): Excellent service and a secluded rooftop garden! - The staff at Nima are incredible. I was amazed at their professionalism and attention to detail. I had a minor medical issue and they went above and beyond to provide me some much needed comfort and rest. The rooftop garden is the highlight for us. We love Nima and we love the staff.
- X8386GOrobertn (10/5): Amazing hotel, excellent staff and experience. Must stay for couples!!!! - Amazing staff and beautiful location. We stayed for four days and enjoyed every minute of it. There was some remodeling happening when we arrived and we thought it would be an issue during our stay. Instead, the staff did everything they could to make us comfortable. We were given a free hydrotherapy treatment to make up for the inconvenience. All in all, we will definitely be back!
- Angela (10/5): Exceptional -
- kaylacN5960OR (10/5): Fantastic experience - Fantastic experience from start to finish. It’s a beautiful, boutique hotel that was transformed from a home so it feels very warm. It’s also in a great location in Roma Norte, close to shops, restaurants, cafes, etc. The staff at Nima are all so lovely and attentive, and the customer service here is unmatched. Highly recommend!
- Safari305560 (10/5): Absolutely beautiful boutique hotel in a great location! - Had an absolutely amazing time staying at Nima House. Located on the perfect little shopping street which was great for grabbing a morning coffee while looking at shops. The entire staff went above and beyond and made our stay magical. Sophia was an absolute gem and helped make us very comfortable throughout our whole stay. The house is gorgeous and we loved eating our delicious and fresh breakfast in both the lush dining room and rooftop garden. Will definitely be back!

- 698katier (10/5): Nima Local House Hotel - We had a memorable weekend in Mexico City and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Nima. Beginning with a warm welcome from Lilly, Sofia and Andi to the delicious breakfasts, beautifully appointed room, expertly orchestrated day trips and dinner reservations we could not have a better introduction to Mexico City. We look forward to returning!
- 943ryl (10/5): Warmth, charm, and generosity - An absolute magical stay at Nina. Sofia, Andy, and every staff member truly treated us like family and close friends, making sure we had everything we needed to feel like home. The house itself is stunning and immaculately curated and styled. It’s charming, warm, and has the perfect balance of history and modernity. Our room was the perfect size - the twice daily service was remarkable; the evening tea was such a special touch. I cannot praise Nima enough - the home, the location, and the people are truly one of a kind.
- Tour40940083365 (10/5): Must stay hotel - This is one of the most incredible hotels I’ve ever stayed at. The hospitality is unmatched. Sofia and Andi were so lovely, as well as the entire staff. The rooms are so comfortable, the shower is so relaxing, and the entire space is incredibly serene. The breakfast is delicious, and the night service with tea is outstanding. We will be back!
- Cindy (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful boutique hotel with friendly staff. Loved the location in quieter part of neighborhood.
- stevenlF8129LB (10/5): Lovely Hotel, Location and Friendly staff - The service was impeccable. Every staff member was extremely friendly and there to provide excellent service.
The hotel was very beautiful. We had breakfast on the garden terrace most mornings. The complementary breakfast was excellent.
The hotel is located on a great block and within walking distance of all the great restaurants that we ate at.
Also we did the sauna and steam (complementary) at the spa down the block and had a great massage.
My wife and I will stay there again if we are back in Mexico City and will certainly recommend it to friends and family.
I’m 74 and I walking up three flight of stairs was not a problem but for anyone who is physically impaired and unable to do that, it would be. Most of the rooms would require two flights.
Thank you all At Nima House for making our stay in Mexico City a memorable one.

- mollygG8663UH (10/5): Outstanding stay in every way! - My husband and I stayed at Nima for 5 nights. What a beautiful property in every way! Perfectly appointed, this gem was an ideal base to explore Mexico City. We loved our room which faced the street with floor to ceiling glass doors that opened to a Juliet balcony. The bed was comfortable, shower excellent, turndown service and other in-room amenities outstanding. Each morning, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast selected from a large menu, included with the room, on the stunning rooftop terrace. Evenings on the terrace were lovely as well. The best part of our stay was the truly exceptional staff. They were gracious, kind, helpful, thoughtful. We can't wait to return!
- Merhell (10/5): quiet luxury at its finest - Nima House was the perfect stay for us in Mexico City. The space is absolutely stunning, and you feel transported back in time with its beautiful architecture. The staff was incredible—warm, attentive, and welcoming. The neighborhood is charming, full of character, and just steps away from amazing restaurants and shops. The spa was serene and beautifully designed, with full access to all amenities. Breakfast and cocktails were exceptional, a true highlight of our stay. Nima House embodies quiet luxury at its finest.
- R6468DYrosiem (10/5): Luxury accommodations and treatment in the heart of CDMX - We had a fantastic time at Nima! Starting from before we even arrived, they offered support and recommendations. Outrageous food (the green juice!!), aromatherapy in the room and comfy bed. Also packed us lunch to go one day. Wonderful staff and spa great too. We will be back!
- Todd (10/5): - A beautiful oasis in the heart of Roma Norte. Beautiful rooms and wonderful staff. Truly special place!
- Jeffrey (10/5): Exceptional -
- ashleyhI1015FT (10/5): Great stay - We had a fabulous stay at Nima Local House in Roma Norte. The space was comfortable, clean, and had a ton of character. The staff were all extremely attentive. The location was perfect, near so many of the best bars, restaurants, and shops. The spa was also 10/10. Highly recommend!

- jacs1115 (10/5): Nima House Hotel: a secret treasure behind locked doors in Mexico City - Nima House Hotel: a secret treasure behind locked doors in Mexico City
Don't let the locked front door fool you; the welcome here is warm and genuine. From the moment you check in to the moment you depart (even at 5:45 in the morning) some one is here to help you find your way. We loved this Roma hotel's authentic interiors and new age wellness touches like herbal tea every evening and little aromatherapy diffuser in each room; you choose the scent when you check in. There are complimentary nibbles in little glass jars and water provided each day. Wine and artisinal chocolate are available for purchase in your room also.
The roof top garden is a perfect place to have a drink or breakfast and check out the view of the neighborhood. There are blankets provided there if the weather is a bit nippy as it was in February.
Service is ever present and help with anything you need is offered gladly. We were assisted with tickets to Luche Libre and the fabulous Frida Kahlo House. Sonia, the concierge and Andi, her nighttime equivalent, took great care of us and answered all of our queries about this exciting city. Ethan, who served our breakfast the first morning and also worked at the spa, was extremely pleasant and helpful.
Their spa is in a relaxing house similarly updated and just a few doors away. The massages are more than first rate and service is at the same high level as the hotel.
Roma is a great neighborhood to venture out into and discover many shops and restaurants. The bakery two blocks down is the famous Rosetta where lines form by 8AM for the fabulous pastries like the guava roll. Rosetta also has a restaurant near the hotel and serves lunch and dinner. We enjoyed a wonderful meal there and it set the standard for many more delicious meals including Contramar, a bustling seafood restaurant just blocks from the hotel.
Honestly, the only downside to The Nima House is an age appropriate thing: no elevator. So if you are older or have an infirmity (like a recent knee replacement) this hotel may not be right for you.

- 195analieser (10/5): Peaceful Oasis in Roma Norte - Our stay at Nima exceeded all expectations. The building is beautiful and exceptionally well-maintained. The turn down service was such a lovely, peaceful way to come home after a long day exploring the city. The breakfast was delicious and especially pleasant to enjoy in the rooftop garden. The highlight of our stay was the attentive, thoughtful staff who made our experience truly seamless.
- Pablo (7/5): Nice but not worth it - The place is beautiful, great design and a lot of nice details. While the staff was very nice and respectful, they had a lot of issues in communication and Excecutive. For example I had booked with the concierge a massage in the spa for me and my wife at the same time, and when we were leaving for the spa they told us that one of us would get the massage one hour later. Not the level of service you would expect for this price, and only having 4 rooms…
- Michelle (10/5): Outstanding Hotel in Mexico City - This is our favorite hotel in Mexico City. The most comfortable rooms and delightful staff. Perfect location too! This was our second visit and we will be back! Nothing
- Raquel (10/5): - The staff were incredibly friendly and the property is surrounded by coffee shops and restaurants.
- Charles (10/5): A wonderful 4 days in an amazing hotel in a great city. A very memorable trip - A beautiful house in a great location. It felt more personal than a traditional hotel. The staff were exceptional and so kind. Nothing
- Bricolage (9/5): Superb -
- Ngonidzaishe (10/5): Amazing , top top notch - Absolutely Unforgettable Stay
Nina Local House is, without question, one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in. From the moment I arrived, the service and attention to detail were nothing short of immaculate.
I was feeling under the weather upon arrival, and to my surprise, the staff went above and beyond—they went out and got me electrolytes! This kind of care is something you simply don’t find in big-name hotels.
The turn-down service was another standout detail: they left delicious cookies on the bed and set the mood perfectly with soothing music for sleep. Every aspect of our stay felt personalized and thoughtful.
If you’re considering where to stay in Mexico City, don’t hesitate—Nina Local House is an absolute must. It effortlessly surpasses even the most luxurious chain hotels. I can’t wait to return!
Let me know if you’d like any tweaks! Nothing, everything was excellent
- Michael (10/5): - Great location, attentive staff, multiple breakfast options, close to many restaurants, museums and transportation options.
- Renata (10/5): My stay left me with a memorable experience that I would want to have again and again. - The service was excellent and the staff so friendly and accommodating. The house itself is very beautiful and unique in the greatest location. It would be a plus to have parking included somewhere for the price.
- Magaly (10/5): Exceptional -
- Keshia (10/5): - This was the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The staff at Nima made my experience absolutely amazing. This hotel is located in Roma Norte which is a beautiful area full of cute coffee shops, restaurants, and bars. The shopping is great as well.

- Benedetta (10/5): Excellent hospitality in Mexico City - See my previous review :)
- Benedetta (10/5): A true home away from home - A wonderful boutique hotel in the heart of Mexico City. Very comfortable rooms with everything (and more!) that you could wish for, but what truly makes this place special is the team who work there. They were so kind and welcoming and went above and beyond with information and assistance, of my whole trip, not just my stay there. A true gem! Nothing at all
- Abraham (10/5): - Best hotel at which I’ve ever stayed
- Gelana (10/5): Worth every penny - Perfection! This hotel and its amazing staff made my trip so special. They went out of their way to make sure I felt looked after (thank you Luis!). My room was spacious and had all the amenities needed plus extras.
Having just stayed at the Four Seasons the night before, I can say that this hotel does everything better. Will definitely be coming back!
- Tania (10/5): A home away from home! - The staff went above and beyond in every possible way! The house is beautiful and intimate, the room incredibly comfortable and quiet, and the service exceptional. Extremely well located as well in a beautiful neighborhood.
- Christin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Andrea (8/5): Nice hotel in Roma - Good location in Roma
Staff were kind and went out of their way to help
Spa is a few buildings down the street and is a very relaxing experience - sauna, steam room and hydrotherapy and well as a menu of services to choose from
Good air conditioning Mattress in our room needs to be replaced / one side is sagging and it was not comfortable
Mosquitos in room were difficult to get rid of
Would be nice if there were a curtain or door to separate bedroom from bathroom vanity area for more privacy
The $80 charge for 1 way airport pickup was a little excessive
- theresa (10/5): - What an amazingly
Beautiful hotel. The staff was exceptionally attentive. The hotel was about 20 minutes from the airport in the heart of Roma México City. The hotel is walking distance to many places and it is very safe.
- Rachel (10/5): We feel welcome and comfortable every day. - Beautiful old house with lots of character.
- Nicole (9/5): Superb -
- Jacqueline (10/5): - An unparalleled gem in the heart of Mexico City! This boutique hotel, with just four rooms, offers an intimate and enchanting retreat that feels more like a luxurious home away from home. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with exceptional service and warmth from the staff, who go above and beyond to ensure your stay is nothing short of extraordinary.
Nestled in the vibrant Roma Norte neighborhood, the hotel's prime location places you amidst the city's finest dining and cultural hotspots, making exploration effortless and unforgettable. Whether you're seeking out the trendiest cafes or the most delectable eateries, they're all just steps away.
I'm already counting down the days until I can return to this hidden oasis. Without a doubt, I wholeheartedly recommend this boutique hotel to anyone seeking an unforgettable experience in Mexico City!
- Etan (4/5): A most amazing place to stay in Mexico City - It felt like home , the staff so attentive and helpful and the small hotel is beautiful, an amazing roof terrace, living room. Really beautiful The room is a bit small

- Kimberley (8/5): - Our Nina House stay was perfect! It is beautifully appointed, the coolest neighborhood on a beautiful tree lined street walking distance to many of the best restaurants. It reminds me of the west village in New York meets Paris European architecture. It is a house turned into boutique hotel. The rooms are beautiful and the beds super comfy. You are totally taken care of and the staff go out of their way to help with any needs. The breakfast was wonderful. Truly made our bucket list trip the best it could be. We would absolutely stay there again. One of the best stays ever. Just a note, there is a lot of stairs and no elevator to get to the rooms. It was not an issue for us.
- Caron (8/5): Very good -
- John (10/5): Intimate yet luxurious with incredible service - Our one week stay here could not have been better. The attention to detail in this boutique property is extraordinary. The property is so charming and intimate but the service is exquisite. Staff incredibly helpful but also discreet so each day felt like coming home.
- Verified traveler (10/5): The best - the staff here was so amazing. I can’t wait to return!

- sarah (10/5): Outstanding hotel!!! - We had an AMAZING experience at Nima. The hotel is on a quiet tree lined street, with cafes and small shops. The hotel rooms are beautifully decorated. The service here was OUTSTANDING. Everyone is so nice, and they take such good care of you. Loved the little touches like tea at night, aromatherapy and turndown service. Breakfast was delicious. Don't miss the rooftop as it is beautiful. I simply cannot say enough how wonderful this small hotel is. Can't wait to return.
- Lynn (10/5): Exceptional -
- G (9/5): beautiful house and location with impeccable staff - staff, service, location, amenities and intimacy of the four room house narrow staircases to access rooms
- Lauren (9/5): Superb -
- Sara (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful space with the most thoughtful staff. Cannot recommend more highly. Not a thing.
- Linda (7/5): pleasant but not a good value - good location it was mediocre
- Veronica (10/5): Exceptional -
- Thomas (10/5): Amazing, boutique hotel in the heart of Roma Norte - Amazing, boutique hotel in the heart of Roma Norte. The property is situated in a historic manor house and only has four guest rooms. The property itself was beautiful and full of thoughtful touches throughout such as a basket of blankets for use on the rooftop patio when it's chilly. The room was lovely and chic, and the staff was extremely helpful. I can't recommend this hotel more highly. Literally nothing, this property was amazing. The only potential downside I could even imagine is that as a four-room boutique hotel, this property is much quieter than a larger hotel. That being said, there is a rooftop patio and main floor living room with self-serve "honor" bars for quests to lounge in.
- Mariya (10/5): - This was such an amazing place to stay in Mexico City. The hotel has only a few rooms. The staff are extremely attentive and thoughtful. The service was better than I could have hoped for. You have to get buzzed in every time you come in but there was not a single time when we had to wait. They left us tea every night before bed. The breakfast was just like going to a restaurant. There were so many great restaurants and shops within walking distance. The entire neighborhood is lovely. We couldn’t have picked a better location for our romantic getaway.
- Damien (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sandra (10/5): Would stay here again next time in CDMX. - Beautiful accommodations.
- Magdalena (10/5): - A fantastic place to stay. I would change nothing.
- Michelle (10/5): - Perfect location and very intimate. Service was outstanding and strived to meet every need.
- Vivian (10/5): Hidden gem in Roma Norte - I loved everything about Nima. They were so friendly and helpful. The roof terrace is beautiful and so relaxing, and the honor bar is a nice touch. After dinner I just wanted to read, so had a nice bottle of wine and curled up with a blanket on the roof and it was such a dream! I also got a 90 min massage, which was amazing. Thank you, Nima!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The Service was amazing, room was beautiful- location was perfect. It's a small place and bar is basically self serve but if you want something quiet, beautiful/romantic with an amazing location, this is it! Breakfast was great, everyone was so accommodating- real 5 star service and furnishings.
