• Sandee (1/5): - location was good bed was horrible. hard and lumpy. people next door were yelling, slamming doors, and banging on. walls all night. asked staff for help and was told too bad. didn't get any sleep and was afraid of escalation of violence all night. Would NEVER recommend or stay there again

• William (9/5): COLONY IS ONE OF BEST MOTEL THAT I HAVE STAY IN. - there no breakfast, that ok they have planty of resturant near location, and what good about it you not far their Chicago downtown area. OFFER DISCOUNT PRICE.

• William (9/5): I enjoy staying at colonial Motel, close to the airport, which is great many places you can go to . - Overall, I enjoy staying at colonial Motel. There was no breakfast. There was locations close around where you can eat breakfast and dinner a good area for walking around near Brookfield zoo so I will continue to recommend this motel to my friends and others. Impacted by. The Internet could be a little bit better where the Wi-Fi everything else was good.

• Julia (9/5): Great. If I ever have to stay there again, I’ll book at the motel. - Great room. Clean. My only suggestion is put a blanket in room. It was cold and couldn’t figure out heating. It was late, so didn’t contact front desk.

• Tracey (7/5): - Bed was comfortable. For a smoking room is was one of the cleanest we have stayed in. Not enough tv channel choices. Outdated. Toilet paper roll broken. Shower head needs replaced correctly. Faucet for the sink needs fixed. Need to have a refund policy for emergency cancellation at least.

• Jacob (10/5): Perfect place to stay if you want to go to the Arcade or Zoo - Wanted to come to Brookfield for Galloping Ghost arcade and wanted to stay as close to the arcade as possible so I didn't have to waste time taking a cab from Chicago so I chose this place since it was right across the street and the price was perfect the room was just as good if not better then some of the hotel rooms I've spent more then double on for the same amount of nights in Chicago :) Lights were flickering a lot and the drain in the bath didn't drain properly but nothing major

• Zach (2/5): - My room was a "smoking room", which was never specified when i booked it. It had an ash tray with ashes in the room when i got there. I had a hard time breathing my entire stay and all of my belongings and clothes smelled like smoke the entire trip. It was embarrassing. To my knowledge, i dont believe its even legal to offer indoor smoking rooms in 2025... and at the very least these needs to be specified when booking. i would have happily paid more to avoid this.
• Jakob (3/5): Staff do not show basic care for quality of stay - Smoking room availability and location of property Room had countless amounts of trash swept behind the bed, the AC unit was damaged having limited functionality, staff interrupted mid stay to spend an hour putting a new bed into my room. Staff cared more for their own convenience than mine

No answer so I had to get dressed and walk to the office and tell them. They gave me a new room with a smaller bed but at least the AC worked.

The cleaner was a little strong on the perfume side, but not terrible once the a/c ran for a little bit. The fitted sheet didn’t want to stay on the mattress. Over all it was clean and economical stay.
