- Kathryn (6/5): Once a nice stay, now the bare minimum facility. - This hotel has always been a convenient and appreciated stop on our trips to the western part of the US. This was our 5th stay at this hotel since it opened around 2016 and will likely be our last. The property is not being maintained well. The staff look like they just got out of bed or a piecing parlor. No greeting, no acknowledgement as an Honors Member. We were in an accessible room that had a faint musty smell. We discovered why after taking a shower - the water was leaking into the bedroom through the wall and the carpet got wet. The drain vent in the floor was also a source of odor. We covered it with a towel to help with the smell. We did report the problem the next morning. No apology, but at least a muttered thanks for telling. Honestly the lack of energy by the staff was ridiculous.

I asked if they could trade out the two warm waters for two cold ones and they said they would have to charge me for cold waters. Really? They couldn’t swap the two warm ones out for two cold ones in the refrigerator? This location needs service training

The first room smelled of urine and asked for another room. We are Hilton Gold member and offered nothing at time of check in. When asked for a bottle of water was told to get it myself. So much for their so called 100% guarantee what a lie!

Our phone wouldn't stop ringing, we had to unplug it, the A/C unit was held up by cinder blocks, the nightstand was broken and falling down, the platform the bed set on was also broken, and there was a very large wet spot in the carpet (3ftx3ft). We also couldn't stop the toilet from running. The two staff members we spoke to were both extremely unfriendly. We've stayed in over 30 Hampton Inn's this summer.. this was hands down, the worst one ever!

We noticed pieces of trash in common areas not picked up for hours. The breakfast lady worked really hard but could barely keep up with the demand. Very close within walking distance to the Big Texan. Easy on & off the highway. It really didn’t feel like a Hampton but good use of Hilton Honors points & for one or two nights.

They were cold and apparently had not been microwaved or cooked long enough. Hampton Inn, like many other motels, has started serving frozen eggs instead of eggs made from scratch. These chains are cheaping out on hot breakfasts. The room rates should be cheaper given the poor quality of the breakfasts that these chains offer.

- Journey33530163287 (4/5): Disappointed in our two stays - We booked two stays with this hotel going and returning from vacation 4 days later. The hot tub and pool were closed due to repairs needed as were ice makers on two floors we checked. On our return 4 days later the pool and hot tub, ice makers , and washing machine in the laundry room were all still broken. Our room had a definite doggie pee odor and the toilet barely flushed Staff was helpful and changed our room. Smell persisted in the new room but toilet flushed. Just a feeling of general disrepair and not quite clean. Totally different from our experience with other Hampton Inns. The complimentary breakfast was good.

- conniek811 (4/5): Dissatisfied - 1, did get the room we'd booked. Clerk didn't seemed to be too bothered to change. 2, profile says Top Floor, said nothing was in my profile, need to update. I checked and my profile was fine. Showed the Clerk. 3, I gave them a different CC than the one used to hold the room. Got a notification from CC that it had been charged. Also got charged in CC have a time if check- in. Rang, oh that's because there was another guest with same last name. Hmm you didn't verify their details. Told us they've credited our CC, hmm still waiting. Nor did I receive the email receipt. 4, hair was on our towels and bathroom wall 5, they allow pets
- gariec2024 (10/5): Hampton Inn Stay at Amarillo, Texas - The location is not hard to find at all. The rooms are exceptionally very clean. The bed and pillows are very clean and smelled fresh. The service is amazing. Meeting Amanda and Noami made us feel home when we checked in after driving 15 hours straight. Will definitely come back again. Thank you.

- brendak872 (6/5): Check out the cleanliness and bedding immediately - The Hilton app gave me one price but upon making the reservation, it was $25 more! The front desk clerk wore a mask and was very difficult to understand. Our room had not been vacuumed and there was food & a floss tool on the floor. The bed was “short sheeted.” The flat sheet was pulled up half way, pulled up the end of the bed and tucked in tight. After driving 11 hours, we were exhausted and this was not funny. Although I shared my concerns upon checkout, she wasn’t concerned.

- Verified traveler (6/5): - Pros: The breakfast was great. Location is good. The hotel is relatively clean overall. Cons: Our shower only had very hot water (Room 411) The elevators are slow and the buttons shock you. A/C took all night to cool room from 75 to 72.
