• Nikhil (9/5): Excellent stay for the budget with Brindavan Gardens open all day - The complete experience was excellent. Staff at the hotel are very courteous and service driven. They are flexible and accommodating, and make every effort to take care of guest comfort and needs. The location is outstanding as it is on the outer edge of Brindavan Gardens and we can walk over anytime without restrictions and enjoy the beauty and expanse of the garden during the mornings, and evenings when the lighting is switched on, and the dancing fountains show is played. The breakfast (8am-10am) is good - Idli, Vada, Dose, Poori-Saagu, Coffee, Tea. They serve you as much as you would like. There is adequate parking around the hotel. The location is safe and access into Brindavan Gardens is strictly controlled by security and police. This is a great place for families and kids to wander the vast gardens without restrictions and traffic. This hotel is for comfortable stay within a good budget in the perimeter of Brindavan Gardens. The places that we can visit are Brindavan Gardens, Ranganathith Bird Sanctuary, and Sri Venugopalaswamy Temple. Other tourist places are a distance away. Most rooms are without air-conditioning. If you want air-conditioning please be sure to request a room with air-conditioning. There is a kettle to boil water. They do not keep tea, coffee, cream, and sugar sachets and if you would like these, then please bring them with you. The hotel stay is comfortable and basic without facilities like pool, health club, and coffee shop. If you want to stay in Brindavan Gardens and enjoy the vast gardens, and visit the nearby tourist locations, while spending the night here, this is an excellent hotel.

• VikramRoy (7/5): Overall I recommend KSTDC Hotel Mayura Kauvery KRS for the location and affordability. - Location is good. Staff is helpful. Breakfast was good. The morning view from outside the window was satisfied. The room size was adequate, but there were issues with cockroaches, centipedes, and mosquitoes. The dinner was disappointing as well. Despite being advertised as a buffet, the food selection was limited to Roti, Sambar rice, Papad, Curd, and a small serving of vanilla ice cream. The quality of the food was not good, which was disappointing given the limited options available.

• Suresh (7/5): - Location. Right inside Brindavan Gardens. Clean room and bathroom, with all the essentials provided inside the bathroom. Food is good. Furniture is old and some were broken. Needs to be maintained. No elevator, though staff was helpful in carrying the luggage.

• Jaideep (6/5): Simple and basic hotel for just one night stay - The KSTDC Mayura is a basic govt hotel with all the theoretically required amenities. We stayed in a AC delux room, but we never needed to switch on the AC due to nice weather. The location was good and next to the Brindavan garden. The area was quite after evenings and mornings you can take quite strolls around the property. Even being a customer at the hotel, I was forced by the govt departments to pay 200/ and 300/- as parking fees and park entry fees. These are additional expenses which came as a surprise. When do hotel guests in any hotel pay extra for car parking and park entry if applicable. The complementary breakfast was simple and plain jane. Being in Karnakata I expected superlative coffee, instead got very flat coffee. Road side eateries have much better and tasty coffee. In the night when you come to bed tired, and want to have a nice warm bath, you cant. There is no hot water supply evening onwards. It is provided only 6:30 am onwards. So in the evening you can shiver and shake while pouring cold water on your body !!

Toilets also need to be renovated especially things like ducts being covered with ugly metal sheets are unacceptable. Overall a lot can be done to improve the property. Apart from location, decent pricing other things require drastic change.

• Vigneshwara (8/5): good location and convinient place if you are planning KRS - Location is very good, no noise, no traffic, very secured for kids playing etc., Liked the air circulation, the breeze in the evening and birds chirping in early morning. Staff is very supportive, friendly and helpful. Restaurant is not upto mark, its ok-ok for quick food, most of the dishes listed are not available :-(

You need to pay additional to reach the property. And every time you go out and come back, you need to show the one time ticket and keep explaining that you have reservation at the gate.

• Shriraj (10/5): Perfect - Great location, View from the room , room is well lit, wonderful people. Special mention of senior lady at the reception Poonima. This is just for better understanding of anyone planning, it's a nicley built place but from an era with no lifts so to keep in mind if climbing the winding stairs is a problem, disability ramps are available. Beds are soft, but if you prefer stiff bed then this might feel softer.
