We had breakfast in the booking but after day one we ate out at a location restaurant for breakfast. I didn’t say anything as they were so nice and friendly we didn’t want to offend them. If we were two adults we would have embraced a traditional local breakfast but kids can be picky.

- Paulo (9/5): - Casa grande e espaçosa igualmente o WC Devem melhorar as toalhas de banho bem como se trocam todos os dias as toalhas de banho deviam mudar também as de mãos, servem o pequeno almoço no quarto no nosso caso na parte de fora, um dos dias não estávamos pois saímos cedo e voltamos para o pequeno almoço, serviram antes da hora marcada e o mesmo estava sem qualquer proteção ( toalha ou mesmo guardanapos de papel a cobrir a comida ). O cobro da taxa de 3% por se pagar em cartão bancário na minha opinião é uma abuso, mesmo o Booking dizendo que o valor apresentado na reserva está incluído todas as taxas.

Ligging van dit hotel is ver van alles. Je kan grab pakken maar verkeer in Bali is moordend. Je kan zo een uur in de auto zitten voor 10 km. Scooter is een betere optie als je de stijle en drukke wegen aandurft.

Food was great- included a main dish, pancakes, fresh fruit juice and freshly cut fruits. Location of the property- Not all cab drivers agree to drive you up at the reception. My parents had a hard time climbing up the slope. The villas need maintenance and renovation- old furniture and dusty corners. Shower gel and towels provided were not up to the mark. Cleanliness needs to be worked upon. No tea/coffee sachets or kettle in the rooms. Rooms are equipped with some cutlery but not maintained well. The air conditioning isn’t great, again needs maintenance.
- D (10/5): Exceptional - This is a little oasis set just a short walk or bike bike into the centre of Ubud. Fabulous staff, great breakfast each morning and a feeling of having the place to yourself with the separate villas situated far apart and close to the beautiful pool. We would definitely stay here again. Nothing. Everything was superb.
- Cruzado (10/5): We enjoyed staying in Sari bamboo Villas. Budi is an exceptional staff! - Rooms are clean, breafkast is good and the staffs are very nice, especially, Budi! The villas is located in the heart of ubud, so its in the jungle! Its high and steep before you reach the villas so its not advisable for the elderlies. Also, expect geckos and frogs. They are harmless though, they are part of the Bali experience.

- Michael (8/5): Great value for well presented villa. - Beautiful setting, clean villa with a large outdoor kitchen and dining space. Water and bathroom amenities were provided. Breakfast was nice with a variety of choices. I see others complained but its a free breakfast in a villa that is very well priced! The shared pool was great and set in the middle of all the villas. Would have liked a mirror and dressing table on the 1st floor otherwise your battling between each other on the ground floor. Yes you can hear some road noise as these are old style wooden buildings but nothing some ear plugs wont help with.

We had the 2 bedroom villa no doors separating the rooms so not private. It was ok for us as we stayed with my daughter and her partner. Outside area wasn’t very comfortable but a large clean space. Quite different to find and slope isn’t great if you struggle with energy !! Plus lots of steps up to villa.

The villas are big, bed are all comfy. The pool is amazing everyday after our activities we make sure that we dip ourselves at the pool. The staff are all amazing they make sure that our room is clean with new towels and water. Also for breakfast they arrange our breakfast according to our activity timing, either we get it early or have it after.

- Nomvula (1/5): The villa needs a good deep cleaning - Not worth the price. Dirty place. When we arrived, the villa did not look freshly cleaned. Bathroom is dirty- shower, toilet and basin/sink looked dirty. The kitchen sink had stains and was dirty. The fridge was sooo dirty, even the ice cube tray was dirty. Breakfast 🍳 was not hot enough, though not cold. There is no much variety so it got boring for our stay as we had same breakfast. Pool area is beautiful however considering we were the only guests, the pool was not cleaned. You can literally see dirt. The facility uses white towels, but those towels were cream instead Bed mattresses were not so comfortable. They only used 1 sheet cover of which you can see through how dirty the mattress is. We then decided to sleep on top of the duvet cover and used fleece blankets we got from our plane. The mosquito net is dirty and looks like haven’t been washed for months. There was no spray for ants, spiders and mosquitoes 🦟 The entire stay was not worth it.

From the moment we arrived, Betty and her staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Their hospitality and attention to detail truly made all the difference. The villas are beautifully designed, offering a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. One of our favorite parts was the gorgeous pool—we started every morning with a refreshing swim, which set the perfect tone for the day. The complimentary breakfast was another highlight—healthy, delicious, and made with fresh ingredients, a perfect way to fuel up before heading out. The location is ideal, just a short distance from downtown and the famous Yoga Barn, making it easy to explore while still enjoying a quiet retreat. A huge thank you to Betty and the entire team for making our stay so special. If you're looking for a unique and relaxing place to stay in Bali, this is it! Highly recommend, and we can’t wait to come back.
