- Elena (6/5): - We recently stayed at this property and unfortunately, it didn't meet our expectations. The overall appearance of the property feels quite outdated, with worn furnishings and a general sense of neglect in the decor. It could really use some updates to bring it up to a more modern standard. Additionally, the towels provided had a musty smell, which was unpleasant and made it hard to fully relax during my stay. Cleanliness is important, and this particular issue left much to be desired. To make matters worse, during our stay from Friday to Saturday, there was loud music coming from somewhere nearby, which made it difficult to get any rest. The noise was disruptive and added to the overall discomfort. While the location may be convenient, we would hesitate to recommend this property unless some significant improvements are made, especially in terms of maintenance, ensuring that basic amenities like clean, fresh towels are provided, and addressing noise disturbances.

Our one complaint, which is only minor, is the poor design of the shower screens in that they let so much water out onto the floor. Also room 5 in which we stayed this time has quite a large gap in the door allowing a fair breeze through it. But we will be back next trip.

Maybe the cleaner could be given extra time once a month for a proper clean.Room was spacious, furnishings were old,& marked. Baldly needs a paint & freshen up. - John (10/5): Great stay - Stayed at Mick O'Shea's in Hackham. Booked for 4 nights, but stayed for 5 nights, visiting family and the area. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room modern and clean. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, would strongly recommend.

- Bill (8/5): - As above, clean, good food and close to where I needed to be. SOME staff members could do with a lesson on customer service and attitude!! However, most of them were great.
- Robyn (4/5): - I had arranged an early check in,.of which I also arrived a further 15mins plus ahead of, only to have to beg for the key a third time so I could go get ready for a wedding we were attending. My son still had to wait a further 10mins for them to finalise it so it took a total 37mins to check in. They said they weren't going to charge the extra fee because of the muck around but then they still did. Upon my key return the next day I questioned it & got it refunded but still coped attitude from the guy. The room itself was quite nice, but again they need improvements to the 2nd room, it had a funny smell to it & at minimum needed a fan added to the room, preferably it needs its own aircon unit as it was very warm in there which only added to the smell. I don't treat myself to accommodation very often so for the price you pay these days the overall experience could have been way better.
