- 心禹 (9/5): 如果房內可以增設電話連線的櫃檯會更好，這樣也不用用自己的手機打電話給櫃檯反應房內設備問題 - 1. 太空艙的設置保有私人空間感 2. 房間種類分別多（男生房、女生房、混合房） 3. 淋浴空間跟廁所是乾淨明亮的 4. 遇到問題撥打電話跟工作人員時，問題是可以第一時間得到解決的！ 5. 房內禁止飲食，不用擔心蟲蟲危機 1. 太空艙幾乎可以說是沒有隔音效果 2. 置物櫃感應的聲音有點大 3. 房門感應開關變得有點不靈敏 4. 辦理入住的櫃檯跟實際入住點有一點點距離 5. 隔壁是麻將館，菸味重，安全性打問號

- KA PO (1/5): 住過最劣的台灣住宿，0.1分都不想給 - 201號房霉味極重，伴隨漂白水味，冷氣開了像沒開一樣，開了大半小時仍然不涼，通風極差，味道也不曾散去。向店家要求換房間，看過同層另外兩間都有同樣問題，最後勉為其難選了味道比較不重但冷氣很弱的205，冷氣設了16度，室溫長期維持在26－27度，店家表示「台灣的冷氣都是這樣的，你太要求是強人所難。這裡平均每天接待1、200個客人沒人說過有這個問題，就你說有問題」，wow, brilliant. 冷氣不涼，還會掉黑色髒污下來呢。 房間衛生打掃馬虎，洗手台很多螞蟻，床單起毛球，枕頭失去彈性都被睡到凹陷，床墊硬睡到腰痛。蓮蓬頭座架壞掉，得手持蓮蓬頭洗澡。浴室沒換氣扇，濕氣散不去，也有通風的安全疑慮。 來台灣這麼多次，第一次刷新了我對住宿印象的下限，無論是房間質素，還是服務質素。建議慎選。

- Lê (10/5): Exceptional - Above all, the support of the host was exceptional. Even though they close the reception counter at 10PM, a last minutes request on airport taxi drop-off in the early following morning sent at 11PM was still quickly adapted with care and in a manner that goes the extra mile. Along with that was great location in a safety neighborhood, clean room with facilities to self-clean the venue available, and good water pressure in the bathroom. Definitely recommend!

The ensuite rooms have very thin walls and some of the guests made a lot of noise until late. As there is no one supervising the floor, this went on until we complained. It was very hard to sleep

And if you love to walk you can see a lot of things . And also close to Taipei main station also. I expect that the toilet a bit cleaner . And the water refilling station I think need to be clean more. Sorry! Because we will gonna drink it .

- Lina (6/5): Pleasant - The location is very close to Ximending Shopping District. There is no bidet in the toilet. The toilet and the shower are in the same room, so it's not a dry toilet. But no absorbent mat provided, only rubber mat. So when our wet feet/slippers step out from the toilet, the bedroom floor will be wet. There is only 1 washing machine in the entire building, and it has leaking pipe, so they suggested us to go to the nearest laundromat. But the laundromat is not very good. The towels provided were very thin, and one was very small, just the right size for face. However, they replace it with a slightly larger one when I requested. There is no cleaning service for the room, and minimum cleaning in the common areas.

But the room with private bathroom is great. Overall, good. But I only suggest you to take if dorm need to be all of you in so that it feels more comfortable.

- M.abu (8/5): Overall, If you are not that picky or on a budget I highly recommend this hostel! - The location is a 10-15 minute walk from Ximen Metro (depending on the route you take). The staff/owner are very hospitable and accommodating, actively catering to our requests and promptly answering our questions. We stayed in the Double Room, which was spacious, had comfortable beds, and provided all the essentials we needed. The bathroom is a little bit old, but functional and clean. We were expecting the room to be dark based on the photos, but it was bright and well-lit with a window. Additionally, each floor has a common area with amenities like hot/cold water and a fridge for storing your takeaways. As many of the comments here, the walls are fairly thin, so you can hear conversations and noises from the hallway or nearby rooms. However, this really didn't cause a major problem for us since the noise was tolerable and didn't disrupt our sleep.

- Chloe (5/5): Passable - Excellent location at Ximen, easy access to most tourist attraction centers within walking distance, by MRT or local buses. We took bus 302 at 漢口昆明街口 (within 1 minute walking distance from the hostel, just opposite to be exact) and arrived at 捷運北門站 (Beimen) by 2 stops and access directly to MRT Taoyuan Airport Line (捷运桃园机场线). Owner is friendly and he had recommended places of interesting in Taipei and must try local breakfast at Fong Da Coffee (蜂大咖啡)。Wifi connection is excellent. Rooms space is small for 4 female dormitory and no private storage for personal belongings. Poor quality of metal bunk beds and it’s hard to sleep soundly for 2 nights especially when someone woke up at the middle of the night and the bunk bed souds very loud and super annoying. Injuries occured when I stepped down from the upper bunk bed and the wound on my leg yet to heal although after 7 days .... I have tried to contact property thru whatsapp call several times unfortunately they never answer / respond. Cleanliness is poor and cockroaches are seen all over the property, even in the bed room. Small bath room, small toilet, small living space, overall the property is not value for money.

The name "Backpacker Hostel," is not actually the name of the hostel that is shown outside which I found quite misleading. The actual name of the hostel is TW Hostel, which is helpful to know when looking for the hostel! The location is also right next to a night market so it was a little noisy at night, but a good location if you are looking to go out and about.
