• Jacques (10/5): Exceptional - Incredible place, amazing hosts. After 3 weeks of traveling in New Zealand staying a night or two at many nice places, our stay at Kaituna Homestay was our TOP choice! First, this incredible home is located in a heaven of peaceful nature. We could enjoy the amazing garden and walks, the jacuzzi outside, and the cute animals all around. The room is huge and super comfortable, like a hotel suite. Second, Sharon and John are wonderful and caring hosts, we felt like at home. The breakfast was delicious and better than in restaurants. We left resourced and happy with incredible memories. We will definitely come again, and stay longer.

• Stephanie (9/5): A little bit of heaven on the peninsula! - Kaituna Valley Homestead is a beautiful, peaceful, fabulous place to stay. Yes, it’s a bit out of the way, but it’s worth the drive. We thoroughly enjoyed everything about it, from the rural setting to our large, comfortable room (great shower pressure) to the farm animals (highland cows!) to the stars at night to the delicious breakfasts both mornings. Sharon and John are friendly, thoughtful hosts. Highly recommend!
• Veronique (10/5): An exceptional stay - A magnificent house in an idyllic environment. The welcome from Sharon and John was super warm. 4 nights spent there and very sad to leave. The suite has a lot of charm with its veranda and its view of the garden. The à la carte breakfasts are exceptional. Impossible to forget such a place

Peaceful and tranquil, a luxurious stay with all possible comforts. Generous and hospitable hosts. Next time we will definitely stay for two nights or more.

The house and furnishings are beautifully appointed and match the old villa. We sat in the spa pool and watched the stars come out. The breakfast which was made to order was fresh and plentiful.
