- Mark (10/5): Stunning house, great setting - Chateau D'Avenses is a most beautiful house with great views across the countryside. Comfortable bedroom, plenty of lounge facilities, nice gardens etc. Josette welcomed us with Normandy cider and biscuits which were very welcome after a cycle ride from Dieppe. An outstanding breakfast in the morning. We felt like French aristocracy. Well worth the price.

Simple continental breakfast with home grown ingredients. Staff very very helpful despite our appalling French. Very highly recommended to anyone passing to stay here. Fabulous. Will be staying here again in the future.
- Clayton (10/5): Lovely - Lovely stay. A really great option if you have a large group and can get several rooms together. The views are beautiful, the rooms are comfortable, the bathrooms are modern. The staff onsite is very helpful and breakfast each morning was basic but very good.

It is quiet, no pollution, the owners and staff are very nice, warm and friendly, a very nice atmosphere The garden and the orchard are peaceful, bedroom was clean,large and well furnished, breakfast is delicious, with jam made from the fruits of the garden. It may seems expensive, but it worth it. We will be back for sure.

En plus de la chambre nous avons aimé les pièces à vivre, la terrasse, le parc et la vue panoramique. Au petit déjeuner nous avons dégusté un pain incroyablement bon et produit spécialement par le boulanger renommé pour le château. Les cerises du verger un vrai délice. Une adresse à ne pas manquer.
