Guest Reviews
- John (10/5): - Stay here every time we are in the area. And its always a great stay and a good time down the street at the prattsville tavern. Moores is excellent
- Victoria (8/5): - Quiet, 1st and 3rd night, 2nd night had some loud guests, door had doorknob lock, no additional lock, had micro and mini fridge, had window A/C unit which was sufficient, housekeeper charge, $4. Per day. That i was unaware of,Housekeeper cleaned room and never replaced towels or trash can liners, i bought a candle for room since it had a smell. No placard to put on door, Do Not Disturb, found that odd, front desk has intermittent hours, not always there, no binder in room that has points of interest, shopping options, places to eat, no telephone in room, at check-in, was not given WIFI password, internet in my room for my laptop was non-existent, i had to go to the outside table on deck near front desk to get online. Light on wall inside door and outside light next to my door do not work. Overall, a place to sleep, not sure it was worth $129. Per night.
- Joy (2/5): - This is absolutely not a resort it is however a motel in need of several upgrades. Microwave smells like its on fire, fridge looks like it was dropped, someones leftover creamer still in it when we arrived. A/C and light on same switch need to unscrew bulb at night if you want A/C. I dont believe in staff entering my room unless i ask for service but they come in everyday. Toilet does not flush good.
- Galina (10/5): - Beautiful place!
- Nishan Singh (8/5): - We had a great time. Will visit again.
- joel (10/5): - Two night stay was peaceful, clean and comfortable.
- Geoffrey (10/5): - 20 minutes to ski slopes, otherwise excellent.
- Rachel (10/5): - The Moore's Motel is in a great location - close to two ski mountains and walkable to the small town. The owner is very kind and readily available for questions, extra towels, etc.
- Michael and Kathleen (10/5): - It was convenient and clean.
- Thaise (8/5): Great for the price - A few repairs that could be made but overall fantastic for the price! Definitely would stay here again. The couple running it were also very nice!
- Allan (10/5): - The rooms are clean and very quiet. An enjoyable stay at a family owned motel.
- Kevin (10/5): - Very nice for a weekend getaway.
- Margot (4/5): - Wi-Fi was promised but did not work. Pool is cold and buggy. Staff not friendly or helpful
- Matthew (10/5): - Motel is amazing. Bed was firm and so comfy and the fabric signer smell pit me right to sleep. Pool area was beautiful. We didn’t use it but looks great. Also love the fire pit in the evenings. Beautiful motel upstate location.
- Katherine (8/5): Quick stay - Perfect for what I needed for the weekend. Beds were firm and comfortable. Room was clean and ample in space for our two night stay. Staff was friendly and helpful!
- Robin (8/5): - Nothing fancy, just a clean place to stop for the night.
- allan (10/5): - They have done a wonderful job renovating the rooms. Pool area and garden look great.
- JOSEPH (8/5): Comfortable accommodations - Bare basics and easy in and out. Good value. I would stay again.
- Kurt (10/5): Nice Mom and Pop motel -
Nice Mom and Pop motel in a small town with in walking access to stores and restaurants
- EDWARD (10/5): - A lovely motel in a very scenic area - perfect for our little Fall weekend getaway to the Catskills!
- Deb (10/5): - we were pleasantly surprised by how refreshing the property looked. Very pleasant and helpful owners!
- Ritam (10/5): - This place is so good and serene for people traveling to Hunter Mountain
- Hyun Ju (10/5): - The lady at the office was rather quick and you need to bring USB plugs. Shower head could be better.
- Jennifer (6/5): Passing through on our way home to NH - We were passing through to see a friend. The owners weren’t very forthcoming with information about the motel or area. The check in and out was very unwelcoming to me and I felt uncomfortable. We figured out the WIFI password, parking, and local attractions on our own. Perhaps the owners have had many rude people and are jaded by people “passing through”.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - When you check in the hotel office should be more clearly marked as to where to go.
At least 3 different people had to be directed to office by us. It would be nice to have coffee available to people. First hotel we have been to with no access to coffee tea... Other than that the hotel served it's purpose for one night.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Very nice experience! - Moore’s Motel was a wonderful option and I would stay there again. We just needed it for one night, for a wedding. The owner was welcoming, the room was extremely clean. It’s not fancy but perfectly comfortable and cozy—a really nice experience!
- Ann (10/5): - Always maintained clean and comfortable
- Maria (8/5): - The outside of the property is very nice and clean, they have a beautiful garden. However, the hotel room was dated. The WIFI doesn’t work at all in the hotel room.
- Laura (4/5): - Would never stay here again. The room shows the age of the building. Only the bathroom has been semi updated. No hair dryer, no coffee pot, towels are dingy, room has a musty smell, and floors creak on the second floor.
- Milo (10/5): - I’ve slept on many king beds and that one was the most comfortable mattress by far. I’ve been meaning to call and request the brand name so I can get one for myself. It’s certainly not a Hilton, so don’t expect a brand new interior, but you’re like me and that doesn’t bother you, I highly recommend Moore’s Inn.
- Ali (10/5): - Very impressed by the cleanliness of the place.
- Tim (10/5): Quaint, small-town NY motel - This was a good surprise in this small-town middle NY township. Clean, comfortable, quiet… room. Cable TV, window air conditioning…. Decor is kind of like staying at grandma’s house. Bed was comfortable. We left happy and rested and the price was right.
- Hayley (10/5): - I liked that it was in an area with the owners home and it was very personable.
- Praveen Kumar (8/5): - The motel was clean...I stayed with my family(Spouse,Kid 8,Kid 4) They enjoyed.
I would recommend this Motel for others.
- Dina (8/5): - Nice one night stay
- Victoria (10/5): - Nice and quiet.. would definitely stay again
- kseniya (8/5): - ok, for the price we paid we could not expect more. it was clean and we just needed place to sleep. we only had one issue. Room # 2 the lock didn't work from the inside and the door opened by itself when we went to sleep already. i was scared :) i think my husband didn't close it properly. but still the lock doesn't work properly from the inside.
- ALEXIS (10/5): - Property was extremely clean, less than 20 minutes to Windham Mountain in two minutes from local tavern where we ate at every night ! Parked right in front of our door room #4 perfect place to stay for our quick weekend getaway ! Did I mention extremely clean ? !!
- Irina (10/5): - Very clean.
- Yoon-young (10/5): - Clean, warm, and convenient. Wonderful owners.
- Robert (10/5): Wallet friendly cleanliness - The motel was clean, easy to find. Service was pleasant
- Amber (8/5): - Room was little but clean. Suited our needs perfectly for a short overnight trip.
- Alfredo (10/5): - 😊
- Kevin (10/5): - Clean room, friendly helpful staff, smooth check in
- Gary (8/5): - Very good location and presents very well.
- mariana (8/5): - Close to hunter mountain, quite place, walkable distance to a restaurants. Easy check in
- George (8/5): - Room was clean. Quiet area. Staff was very friendly. Only issue was the Wi-Fi was not great. Besides that I'm satisfied. Would recommend to others.
- Charles (6/5): - Okay
- Stanley (8/5): - Very clean. Limited in room facilities but coffee available at the office. Comfortable beds. Quiet. Good parking.
- Nathan (8/5): - Quiet property. Easy to access.
- DENNIS (10/5): - Good deal in a nice small town near hunter mountain
- Jonathan (10/5): - A relaxed, no-frills motel in the center of a quiet hamlet. Close (but not too close) to Windham and Hunter. Near a supermarket, tavern and diner for all your needs --well within walking distance. Outdoor fire pit with nice seating makes for a great evening. They could improve the wifi service.
- Scott (10/5): Very nice - Very well maintained property and room. Not easy to locate office to check in. Maybe easier in daylight. Sign pointing to office would help. Poor to no Wi-Fi. Close to town. Would stay again.
- Karen (4/5): - reservation was for king bed, was told they didnt have and "nothing I can do" - extremely rude and only solution was take doubles or go "somewhere else". NOT impressed! rooms are fair and beds are awful! Not worth the $. Would not recommend!!! Nothing more than a crummy little motel!
- Jerrod (10/5): - This is a very quaint motel with a really nice patio and pool. The area is amazing as you are in the Catskills. Super clean rooms with microwaves and fridge. Glad I stayed here!
- JULIE (8/5): Efficient - Very neat and tidy room, slept well.
