A equipe toda é bastante atenciosa e a localização é perfeita! Chuveiro quente e cama confortável - tudo o que eu precisava. Com certeza, me hospedaria novamente. Vazava um pouco de água da banheira, mesmo ajeitando as cortinas para não respingar durante o banho... mas apenas um detalhe, nada que tenha atrapalhado a estadia.

- Towa (9/5): - Santiagoの3日間のステイで利用させていただきました。とても清潔で内装もかわいく、快適に過ごしました。最初部屋に入った際に清掃の際に使ったであろう薬の匂いがしたのですが数十分換気すれば気にならなくなるくらいで問題ありませんでした。24時間フロントに人がおり、ドライヤーを借りることができたのも助かりました。また利用したいです。

It didn’t bother me, but if I have to pick something I should point out that the building isn’t the most modern. But everything works!

- Sina (10/5): Beautiful building in central and safe area - It’s a beautiful building, clean and lovely decorated. The owner is really nice and gave me recommendations how, at what time and where I can safely move around Santiago alone as a woman, get money, go for lunch etc. I also booked a taxi/airport shuttle through them to make sure I wouldn’t get scammed. They’ve got a lovely patio in the middle of the building so that you can spend your free time there or for breakfast that you can book optionally. The hostel is central so you can easily walk into three important touristic areas. I plan to come back at the end of my stay in Chile before I fly back home.

Die Speisen sind gut und preiswert.( man kann was zu mittag bestellen). Das Brot. Es gibt nur weisses Brot. Wäre gut etwas Vollkorn.

- Pilar (3/5): No recomendable - La ubicación es buena El hostal está muy viejo, algo destartalado. Las escaleras para subir con maletas grandes muy incómodas y desgastadas. En las habitaciones se oyen todas las pisadas y sonidos de otras habitaciones muy fuerte. El desayuno, extremadamente pobre, y todos los dias igual: 2 lonchitas queso, pan malo, huevo duro y yogur. Mucha gente trabajando que no se enteran de las cosas. En definitiva, no repetiré.

- Natasha (9/5): Great location, cozy room, beautiful patio - The layout of the building, the windows, the patio, the friendly service and 24-hour reception are all fantastic. Even the smallest room is comfortable and provides a restful night. It’s a historic building that’s been updated with insulated windows and balcony doors. If you are an architecture fan and like bright artwork, Hostal Río Amazonas is for you! It’s perfectly located between, Parque Bustamante, Bellavista and Lastarria with plenty of restaurants, museums, and tree lined parks. Personally, I liked the Single Economy room but it is snug quarters, especially the shower, so bear in mind. But you cannot beat the price for the prime location!

They have great recommendations on attractions and restaurants. The patio is lovely and a great place to read or have a snack. Getting a room with balcony is a must. You truly cannot beat the location or value! My one suggestion: a non-slip shower mat or textured stickers. For anyone with balance or mobility issues, it gives comfort they won’t fall in the shower. Nothing major but a thought.

- Mark (10/5): Amazing and friendly accommodation in Santiago - I loved staying at this Hostel. It was in an excellent location between 3 barrio’s, Italia, Bella Vista and Ladtarria. The staff are really friendly and speak good English and provided information about the area. Breakfast was good and you can just pay for the days you want it, There is a small courtyard area and a cafe which included some basic meals for dinner. 5 minute walk to the metro. I would absolutely stay here again if in Santiago.

Die Lage ist zentral. Die U-Bahn konnte ich gut erreichen, ebenso wie das italienische Viertel mit seinen vielen Restaurants, die Altstadt Lastarria oder die Bahn auf den Cerro San Cristobal. Ich hatte ein Zimmer zur Straße, das war recht laut.

- Ronald (6/5): Une vraie déception - Une vraie déception au regard du prix : bruyant, petit déjeuner peu copieux et surtout un manque de chaleur humaine de la part de la propriétaire. Nous avons été très déçus de notre séjour. La chambre était très bruyante (elle donnait sur une avenue très passante et le parquet grinçait à chaque pas), le petit déjeuner était très moyen (minuscule portion de beurre et confiture, fruits très abîmés, pas de jambon avec le fromage) et surtout un accueil sans aucune chaleur et empathie. Une vraie déception au regard du prix.

Le personnel était très facile à joindre et m'a permis de changer mes dates sans frais, même si j'avais passé la date. Très gentil de leur part. Pour moi il ne s'agit pas vraiment d'une auberge mais plus d'un hôtel boutique. La cuisine ne semblait pas ouverte aux hôtes. On a pu laisser des choses dans le frigo mais il fallait passer par le personnel.

- Nicolas (9/5): Perfekt gelegenes Hostal voller Charme und Freundlichkeit! - Lage war perfekt. Die Unterkunft hat einfach Charme und das Personal war überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit. Klasse! wenigstens ein kleiner Tisch im Zimmer wäre super gewesen (wenn ich suchen müsste)
