- Maria (8/5): Wanokura - Wanokura was spacious with room to move. This is the first time that we have shared a house with others. We did not have any problems with waiting for the bathroom or anything else and it wasn't too noisy. It is about a 20 minute walk from the station. You can take a bus or a taxi from the station but we didn't. There are some places to eat & a food market from the station to Wanokura. I would recommend this place. My husband, 64, and I are 62 enjoyed it even though it is more suitable for the younger ones. We would stay there again if we were to return to Kyoto in the future.
- TokyoTaro (6/5): 英語も話せる親切なスタッフ、民宿、大型のクルマでは難しい - 長期滞在をしたい外国人の宿泊が多いフレンドリーなシェアハウスという印象です。 普通の日本の伝統的な家にシェアして泊まるというイメージで考えるべきです。 3組のお客が、各部屋に泊まるスタイルです。 私が泊まったときには、親切で英語と日本語が話せる外国人スタッフがいました。 トイレとお風呂、シャワーは共同です。清潔で鍵がついています。 キッチン、電子レンジ、冷蔵庫、食器、洗濯機、複数の自転車が共同で利用できます。 ドライヤーはなかったかもしれません。 個室に鍵はありませんが、貴重品用の鍵付きロッカーがあります。 チェックインの目安時間は事前に連絡しておいた方が親切です。 場所は新幹線と高速道路に隣接しているので、ある程度、騒音はあります。夜は静かですし、我々は気になりませんでした。
