I liked that it was quiet and had everything I needed. Breakfast: Breakfast was fresh and tasty, with a good variety of options. Everything was well presented and refilled on time. Clean: The room and common areas were clean, and housekeeping did a great job every day. What went well? Check-in was smooth, the room was ready on time, and the overall stay was relaxing and stress-free. There was no YouTube channel available on the TV, and the room did not have a balcony or direct access to an outside area. What could have been better? Adding a balcony and offering more TV entertainment options (such as YouTube or streaming apps) would improve the experience.

The breakfast (coffee, fruit, soto, eggs) was quite nice). The beds were comfortable and the shower worked well and plenty of hot water. Gym and Pool, shared with the adjacent Mercure Hotel Very strong smell from the Drains/River at the side of the hotel. which came inside the hotel. The carpet in the corridors was very old and worn, with a strong musty smell. My room (945) had a funny smell in the bathroom after day 1, my friends room (934) was much fresher.

Grund war, das Bett im ersten Zimmer hatte in der Mitte eine Kuhle, wo wir abwechselnd rein gekullert sind und damit den anderen angerempelt hatten. Im zweiten Zimmer hatten wir dann zwei Einzelbetten. Positiv war auch, daß das Ibis mit dem Grand Mercure zusammen war und man Abends noch das Restaurant mit benutzen konnte. Der vorhandene Pool Abends zum Entspannen gut geeignet. Das Frühstücksbuffet war für asiatische Verhältnisse spartanisch.

- AJ (1/5): - Its alarmingly pathetic, the quality of the room. Cleanliness. What annoyed me the most is the quality if the bathrooms are what you find in a lower end ship. The daily housekeeping is super low quality also. The staff rather than accepting their mistakes, lies blatently. Overall I wouod say not very well trained and combined with the quality of rooms, and the bent beds, this is one of the worst stays I have ever had. I also had some skin rashes sleeping on the bed, could be the dust ot bed bug.

My kids were so excited to see their picture and name written on the card, very personalized. They love and finish the sweet treats too. We slept very well after our trip during the day, the bed was so comfortable. The room was clean and we got everything that we needed, the unique bathroom made my kids curious and cut the drama over bath time for them. We used to think that Ibis is for backpacker, in fact, as I traveled with 2 kids and brought many stuff, the room layout is perfect for me to store our stuff on the shelves, the sink at the bathroom fits for my kids (not to high and not too big), so they can use them without my help, and the bed size also fits for the three of us. Breakfast at Grand Mercure in the morning was the best after hotel hopping with my kids for the past couple of days, my daughter finally had proper breakfast like she used to. Kudos to the team and Arifin who leads them, every touch point with the team reflected how they are nurtured with passion.

- Maha (9/5): Very accommodating staff - The staff were super friendly and very accommodating. My brother was a little sick and they brought him some soup and fruit even though we hadn't asked for it. The bathroom could need a bit of a makeover.
- CEDAR BOUGH TAM (8/5): - The staff are amazing. BUT. There is a smoking section of the hotel and the pipes connect, so I had to keep my fan on in my bathroom (which meant also the light) constantly to pull the cigarette smoke that was coming through the pipes out of my room. One night before I did that I was WOKEN UP BY COUGHING, it was that thick in my room, three floors away from the smoking floors. Even next to the pool people just smoke and drop their butts on the ground. The hotel should be non-smoking, of course. There are also these terrible "perfume" things in the elevators that squirt out disgusting artificial smells. And none of the room windows open. However the staff was absolutely amazing. So kind and considerate and helpful.
- Herbeth Lim (6/5): - Convenient to go to Malioboro and for buying small groceries, affordable meals. Hotel is at the back of the fancier Mercure hotel, a bit dated but the staff were friendly and helpful, the breakfast buffet was delicious and offered variety. However, the towels were gray and thinning, there were stains on the bathroom walls, but worse of all was the pool that was surrounded by tarpaulin walls and not at all like the pictures.
- Ahmad (5/5): Passable - The location was good The price very expensive for this hotel , everything look like old , including the water hose ,very old and dirty , aircon not really cold , the shampoo and body wash using pump old and keep leak ,and no fridge inside the room Price expensive I pay for 2 night 1.1 Milion Rupiah it's almost 70$ ,not including breakfast,the price it's not fair with this hotel Breakfast we pay 180k Indonesia Rupiah for 2 person it's almost 12$ ,also expensive , but to be honest the food is tasty ,but expensive

Room service was delivered with good food but the kitchen staff didn't pick up the crockery and cutlery for days, even after I informed the reception and still everything waiting for pickup when we check out. It was very bad management.

- Mick (6/5): Pleasant - Breakfast was OK but we lucked out, the hotel closed for maintenance while we were there and we got a free upgrade to the Grand Mercure, with which the Ibis shares the building, staff and pool. Bathroom in our room was very small and very old, mould where you would expect it to be in an old hotel. Desk staff didn’t always speak English well.
