Guest Reviews
- Dash (10/5): Stunning in every way - Arrived to this beautiful house and instantly felt my stresses drift away. The peace and stunning surroundings were just what I needed.
Tracy and Steve were absolutely wonderful hosts, couldnt have hoped for better, such a lovely couple.
The room was perfect and the bed was so comfortable. All the personal touches like many types of tea, biscuits, nuts and drinks, the robes and all the bathroom supplies were just gorgeous. Felt so special.
The spa bath was so relaxing and huge ! The best bath I have ever had - and I love a bath.
The decor of the rooms and building are just phenomenal, pretty mixed in with homely and history.
Outside the grounds are beautiful and calming also I lovely suntrap with echos of bird song.
Afternoon tea was delicious and Tracy's homemade jams were out of this world - theres no end to this women's talent and kindness.
Breakfast was a solid 10/10 - perfection no other words. NOTHING !!!!!

- Alexa Ormay (10/5): Beautiful 13th century Manor House with delicious food, abundance of amenities, and friendly staff - What a beautiful Manor House and such friendly owners! The food was amazing, the amenities were a very nice touch and the surrounding nature was just what we needed - calm & serene. I had to work a little bit as well and the wifi wa strong. The staff was communicative, provided fresh scones and muffins when we arrived. The stocked Bar and pool table were such fun and next time we plan to use the pool! We enjoyed the walking distance to Barnsole Vineyards and the Chequer's Inn for wine tasting and food! The rooms were very comfortable, and included soaps/lotions, stocked coffee/tea station and snack. We will definitely be coming back!
- Louise (9/5): Amazing weekend at the Lodge - Tracey was lovely and very accommodating. Location was perfect and very beautiful. There were beaches close by and lots of lovely pubs to eat at. Lodge was perfect for my family and dog! It had everything we needed and more. Including private hot tub and games console for my 14 year old son.
- Jackie (10/5): Welcoming and so helpful and a lovely room in a peaceful location - Comfortable, spacious room in a peaceful location, with everything we wanted. Delicious food. We were made to feel so welcome and nothing was too much trouble. No improvement needed.

- Diane (10/5): - Breakfast and the choice were great, the owners were lovely and really helpful, gorgeous building and facilities, I would definitely recommend
- DEMET (10/5): Tek kelimeyle harika!!
C’etait super !
- Denise (6/5): - Beautiful old building Supposed to be luxury but towels had holes in them...
- Thomas (9/5): -
- Vicky (10/5): -
- Mia (10/5): - Lovely area, clean and presentable
- Stephen (9/5): - A lovely atmospheric room in the heart of the countryside. Friendly owners. The spa bath didn't work.
- Peter (10/5): - Friendly owners, scones on arrival, good choice of breakfasts. Lovely old manor house, large room and very comfortable.fortable bed. Nothing
- Ann Maria (1/5): Terrible experience with no sleep and no care from the owner - On arrival we were greeted nicely by the owner. The property was clean and well maintained, which initially gave us a good impression. Unfortunately, everything went downhill later that evening. We needed to leave the B&B by 7:20 am so we planned to go to bed around 10 pm to get a decent amount of sleep. However, at around 10 pm, a very loud couple checked into the room next door. Their bathroom was directly next to our bedroom, and at around 10:30 pm they started using their spa bath. They kept turning it on and off repeatedly, sometimes leaving it running, until at least 2 am. The noise was incredibly loud and completely impossible to ignore.
By 2 am we had completely given up on the idea of getting any sleep. Exhausted and frustrated, we packed our things and left in the middle of the night, drove to Folkestone to find a hotel with a 24-hour reception. We paid for another hotel just to get a few hours of rest before our ferry in the morning. In the end, we ended up paying for two hotels for the same night.
When we checked in, I mentioned to the owner that we had to leave early in the morning and really needed a good night’s rest. Sadly, that didn’t seem to matter, as nothing was done to address the completely unreasonable noise from the other guests.
This experience ruined the last night of our trip and left us utterly exhausted for the long journey home. It’s incredibly disappointing that a place with such a nice setting and clean rooms showed absolutely no concern for their guests’ basic need for rest and quiet. Sadly, I cannot recommend staying here if you value sleep or peace during your stay.

- Darren (10/5): A little hidden gem - Well, I dont normally leave reviews, but in this case it's a must!
Molland manor house , is one of the most attentive b&b I've ever stayed in.
The hosts are outstanding & really genuinely care about your stay.
We stayed in a beautiful room 4 poster bed and jet bath ,overlooking the grounds.
Breakfast was lovely. Hot scones and tea on arrival.
Just nothing was too much trouble.
Horses, and grounds well maintained.
Denise & darren
Will definitely be returning x The fact we can't stay another night
- Alan (7/5): Wouldn’t book there again - The breakfast was very good but the cup of tea was undrinkable there was scum floating on top. The regimented routine.. we had to choose what we wanted for breakfast the night before. Breakfast was between 9and 7am but we had to state an exact time to have it. The bed mattress was old and uncomfortable. The room had been only surface cleaned.
- Newington (10/5): Lovely B&B in a beautiful setting. Peaceful. Fabulous room and breakfast was great. Thank you Tracey -
- Richard (10/5): Lovely quiet retreat in a perfect loctaion - Great property, super friendly hosts.. lovely quiet location but easy reach of all main routes. perfect stay...

- Annukka (10/5): A stunning stay in a gorgeous historic setting, made unforgettable by the amazing hosts! - Loved the historical building and setting—charming, atmospheric and full of character.
- Georgia (10/5): Exceptional - We had such a wonderful stay at this cabin lodge over the weekend. The hosts were absolutely amazing—so friendly and attentive. It really felt like they genuinely cared about making sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed.
One of our favorite parts of the trip was sitting in the hot tub and watching the horses being trained in the distance. It was so peaceful and surreal, like something out of a movie. We probably could’ve stayed there all day.
The nearby village was beautiful too—charming and quiet, with that kind of small-town feel that makes you want to slow down and just enjoy the moment.
It was exactly the kind of relaxing escape we were hoping for. We’d absolutely love to come back.
- David (10/5): Was an amazing three night get away for us. Set in a charming location with parking and the breakfast and welcoming Host - The Manor House was better than the pictures and advertisements. Was for of character, history and welcoming. Nothing
- Elizabeth (10/5): Really enjoyable with helpful hosts in a beautiful historic manor house. - The breakfast was excellent with a very wide choice. Lovely fruit salad, yogurt, cereals, pastries and choices of cooked breakfast. Nothing

- Phil (10/5): Great - Particularly kind of the Landlord to give us a lift into Sandwich All good
- Rachelle (10/5): Exceptional - Absolutely beautiful surroundings, nice peaceful and quiet. Dog friendly and loads of routes to walk locally. Tracy and Steve very helpful and informative of what to do / eat etc in the area.
Beautiful breakfast, so nice and filling, we cancelled lunch and had a lovely long walk pegwell bay which is close by. Toiletries, chocolates, tea, coffee, fridge microwave and kettle all available In the very comfortable room. Would definitely come again 😃 the spa bath was amazing!!! Nothing
- Kerry (10/5): Excellent, quiet, beautiful, friendly, and the history of the house is unbelievable. - As soon I went in it was lovely Tracey was so warm and welcoming, it felt like I had known her all my life. The room was the best i have stayed in and it was so quiet. I cannot praise it enough. more than excellent. There was nothing I did not like.
- Dave (10/5): Wonderful stay - Excellent
- Christopher (1/5): Never again - Was in a beautiful location Was sold with hot tub and fresh cooked breakfast. But raw eggs and no hot tub . Also the host Tracy swore on arrival and was bad mouthing the local pub . This was not very pleasant to hear as the local pub belonged to friends of ours
- Rona (10/5): Beautiful - Very warm welcome on arrival from Tracy, lovely cream tea in the beautiful dining room. The whole place is stunning, including the surrounding area. We were lucky enough to get the room with the jacuzzi bath, which was a real treat. Breakfast was lovely, Tracy and Steve really do go above and beyond to make your stay perfect. Highly recommend!
- Chris (10/5): Wonderful welcome with homemade warm scones, clotted cream and jam. Excellent breakfast and attentive staff. - Beautiful place It had charm.
- Lewis (9/5): An incredible place to stay! - We had a fantastic stay Molland Manor House - we were let down last minute by a well-known hotel in Deal, and so had to find an alternative place to stay for the night with our dog. We came across Molland Manor House on booking.com and we couldn't believe our luck. Everything was perfect, from pulling up in the drive to be greeted by such a charming manor to the comfort of the four poster bed, we can't thank Tracey and Steve enough - super friendly hosts who we had the pleasure of meeting properly over breakfast in the morning. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you for having us! The kettle in our room could have done with a bit of a de-scale (we didn't use the kettle because of this). We'd also booked the room with the 'spa bath', but unfortunately this wasn't working.
- Glenn (9/5): really nice and would stay again. - BREAKFAST could have been better. Not brilliant but lots of options.
- Paul (8/5): Very good -
- Yezzy (9/5): Superb - This property is absolutely stunning! It's steeped in history and that is reflected in every inch of decor. It's one of those places with wide corridors and lots of historical artifacts and photographs. Tea and scones upon our very welcoming arrival were an excellent touch and blooming lovely (homemade I guess?)
The room was really lovely and the little complimentary touches were cute - chocolates, miniature spirits, beautiful toiletries and a generous choice of hot drinks. The bed was so big and comfy and the spa bath was luxury! The buffet breakfast was equipt with a generous selection of cereals, fruit, toast and jam etc and the hot full English was banging! No stay will be 100% perfect but this was pretty blooming close.... The 9/10 is purely based on a few little nit picky things that were too insignificant to even mention at the time. A few cobwebs (expect in an old house but easily removable), dirty fridge handles and a cracked shaving mirror. 🫤
- Mazoch (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dirk (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jennifer (10/5): We loved this bed and breakfast, breakfast was great, and the owners were delightful. - Beautiful old home from the 1200’s. The owners were so welcoming and fantastic. It was a little hard to find, but that was Google maps error.
- Mike (10/5): Exceptional -
- Thom (10/5): Exceptional - Everything Nothing
- Gerald (9/5): Excellent B&B - Very nice place. Cream tea on arrival was a lovely treat. Able to charge up my electic car overnight at just the cost of the electricity.
- Andzelika (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was great 👍.
We will definitely be coming back definitely in the future
- Anna (10/5): Peaceful, rejuvenating stay at Molland Manor - Excellent homely stay, with a warm welcome and delightful room. The house is full of character, with original beams and stained glass windows. Facilities include very comfortable beds, excellent showers, ample parking, seating areas and a double hot tub. Tracy made us a brilliant breakfast each morning and was kind enough to provide tea and scones on arrival. Can't get better than that!
I recommend you go to Barnsole vineyard, walkable in 30 mins. Book an hour wine tasting with Phil for £20 per head. The Black Pig is close by for dinner and Joss Bay beach is lovely too It was all fantastic !!!!
- Kayley (8/5): We thoroughly enjoyed our stay & would 100% return & stay longer. - Lovely peaceful location, perfectly situated for exploring the area. The Lodge was ideal for us (family of 5) Tracy and Steve were friendly, welcoming hosts.
- Cate (10/5): Recommended wholeheartedly to all! - Beautiful period house, set in a peaceful rural location, yet close to Sandwich. Delicious breakfast. Very friendly and welcoming hosts. Lots of lovely touches such as chocolates in the room and a whirlpool bath. Welcoming to dogs . Nothing at all!

The loveliest most comfortable room.

- Mark (8/5): A well located, character bldg with carparking, great garden for children, great breakfast - Great old Manor House with character internal decoration and great garden for kids. Good location for visiting historic bldgs/castles and gardens. Great host and food with good parking As I had a bad back the extra mattress to 4 poster bed has made back worse and probably not required? A very creaky floorboards in room above was noisy. Tv brilliant size but hard to navigate to get basic basic channels.

- Ana (9/5): Great weekend break - Excellent location, a house full of character, lovely furniture, comfy bed, box of chocolates in the room, scones on arrival, breakfast, bath products. Pool was not working as the heating element was broken.
- Andy (10/5): Comfortable, secluded and just what the doctor ordered. - Seclusion initially and the welcome we received from our lovely hosts Steve and Tracy. Very comfortable and nothing was too much trouble including a great breakfast. Nothing
- Aidan (9/5): Superb - Lovely beautiful quiet area with a great big breakfast and cosy bath spa to relax in at the end of the day. The hosts and family were very nice and made us feel very welcome and the cream tea on arrival was much appreciated. Not much to dislike. Everything was pretty much as expected and even the rain storm at night was very therapeutic to snooze to.

- Qaiser (1/5): Rude staff - Very rude staff. There was a hair on the bed, then there was a fly in the cup. When I reported to the owner, they asked to leave the property in the middle of the night. Don't waste your time. Then jacuzzi wasn't working properly. Not worth it
