The B&B at the Inn is wonderfully quaint, and our rooms were comfortable with a second floor view of the pines. My 84-year-old mom enjoyed a snifter of the complimentary brandy, and we all enjoyed the top tier breakfast service by the owner with amazing homemade ramekin dishes, fresh fruit, and blueberry muffins! Just beautiful!

Wolfojos (8/5): Tranquil - We visited early March and stayed in a cabin and almost had the resort to ourselves. Every morning we woke to a herd of elk outside our cabin. The area was peaceful & quiet; definitely better than staying in noise Flagstaff. The cleaning staff could do a better job & the mattress was a bit worn, but the cabins are affordable. The planes can be heard once in the morning and another one around 6pm. The noise is NOT bothersome, overly loud, or late night. I'm not sure why others complain about the nearby airport.

Renee (8/5): Rustic, unique, clean - It may not be the best fit for everyone (particularly the ship ladder in cabin 1, which made getting our luggage to the two upper beds and bathroom essentially impossible), but we found it to be cute and a great value. Beds are ok but not great (pillows are rather stiff). Do not expect any basics like shampoo, conditioner or lotion and the kitchen doesn't have drinks like coffee or tea, or pantry items like oil for cooking. It also has a lot of airport noise. We particularly noticed what sounded like helicopters through the night.
Walter (10/5): Great place to stay. - Stayed in the honeymoon suite located in main inn of the property. Inn only is child and pet free, cable ns ). Enjoy the Jacuzzi tub, nice bathroom, nice room in general, fireplace, and complementary brandy. Breakfast (main inn guests only) was fresh cooked and very nice. Property called me before the visit reviewed the terms of the stay, how to get in after hours if we arrive too late, and took breakfast orders for the day we left, which was the following day after an overnight stay. Winter and wet season visitors beware the driveway from Lake Mary Rd is not paved.

Paul (8/5): Lovely stay, just a little too a warm - Loved the Inn vibe and accommodations. Pre-arrival information was helpful. Check-in a piece of cake. Our only disappointment was how hot it was in suite 24 overnight. The window units cooled slightly but we were very uncomfortable. We did leave the sitting room area windows open which helped to eventually cool off the space in the middle of the night.

Celebrated husband's birthday and Amanda and the owner went above and beyond our request. The cabin itself is very cute & charming & the property serene. Traveled in March but still had a good amount of snow which looked like a postcard outside our window each morning. Staff were very friendly and professional.
Acadiacouple2 (6/5): Rustic Solitude near Historic Flagstaff - If you are looking for a quiet, rustic step back in time in the forest of Flagstaff AZ then this is it. Very quiet grounds yet close to Historic Flagstaff and Route 66. Husband was able to take off mountain biking right from the cabin while I enjoyed reading a book and enjoying the mountian view from our deck of Cabin 6. The cabin is like stepping back into the 70's. Had a wood burning fireplace, gas stove, refrigerator, dishes available which we did not use. Wish the sitting was a little more comfortable, but we weren't inside except at night. Grounds were beautiful, although the tree with #6 or the one across the roadway needs to be removed for getting into the drive easier due to the angle. Thankfully we didn't have neighbors so could use their drive for manuevering with our truck. If you like rustic, dark skies and solitude you will enjoy staying here.
Kaytay3000 (10/5): Very Nice Cabins and Facilities - We stayed here in fall/ winter and it was very nice. The rustic cabins had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We even started a fire and was warm and comfy. It's also close to flagstaff. We would definitely stay here again.
infectiousdiseasea (6/5): Pros and cons - The pros…great to be in the woods so close to Flagstaff. Cabin 1, the oldest, is charmingly rustic and was well stocked with dishes, utensils etc. outdoor areas were nice. Lots of hot water for showering. Heated stone floors were great. The cons. The beds were attrociously uncomfortable, topped with the squishiest foam and funky linens. The couch seats were almost as soft. For the price, the owner should be carrying my trash to the dumpster instead of me doing so. Gorgeous stone fireplace with original copper hooding filled with an ugly wood burning stove…a charm killer. No bedside table or lamp on one side of each bed, so one of us was unable to read in bed.
Doogee (4/5): Profit Margins Must Be Significant - Let's start at the very beginning. Best you have a four wheel drive, high clearence vehicle lest you risk spring or axel damage as you transverse the unpaved,rut and pthole filled entrance path. Owner boasts about no TV's, telephones or clocks in cabins suggesting that most patrons appreciate the missing conveniences...really? Please also be aware that if windy and cold weather dictates use of the heating system you may risk serious injury beacse the owner advises that wind gusts often extinguish the heater's pilot light saying... "That is why we give you an emergency number to call in such circumstance". Not much solace when the heater pilot goes out after midnight while you are sleeping as was our experience. Suggest owner should consider spending some of their profits to address the aforementioned. Perhaps then patrons will not mind being asked to "wash the dishes and take out the trash".As an aside...request for reasonable compensation was quickly denied.
sstj (10/5): Great place for a Mountain Wedding! - Invited here for a wedding and the bride booked the whole resort. So much fun. Each cabin a little different. We stayed in the main house, a sweet B&B....just like your grandma's house. The breakfast in the B&B was fabulous....recommend it highly.

Our A-frame cabin had plenty of space, pet friendly, and surrounded by nature. We walked the trials nearby, grilled on the deck and enjoyed the sights & sounds of nature. Highly recommend for a special get away!
630chastityc (6/5): Been coming here for years , you’ve raised your prices get some new playground equipment and most of all new beds! - The beds are horrific. Instead of buying new beds, they bought uncomfortable, overly soft mattress toppers that dip in and kill your back. Didn’t sleep for two nights and my back is jacked. Also, none of the heat worked . Love the location and the concept , but you all can afford to upgrade a bit. I swear you’ve had those same black face towels for 20 years !
890ColetteB (10/5): cute cabin - I loved the location and the cabin I stayed in, it was super cute with a nice bathroom and a bedroom with a door! yay! and a fan in the bedroom, loved it. no air, so it was hot at first, but there is a ceiling fan and the night cools down a lot. we only stayed one night but it was very comfortable. road in is a little bumpy and uneven.
ktkailua (8/5): Cute & Cozy - I stayed one night in Cabin 12, and the property lived up to my expectations. Check-in was easy and COVID-safe, the cabin was clean and spacious and quiet. It is rustic, but I like rustic. The kitchen is small / narrow, so if you're planning to do a lot of cooking, maybe book one of the other cabins. Or plan to use the grill instead. Cabin 12 is set back from the other cabins, so it felt private but still safe (as a solo traveler). It was nice to be able to walk among the Ponderosas, take a little morning walk in the woods right from the cabin on the trails. It's also close to town, so it's about 10 mins to go pickup food or do whatever you need to downtown. The heater is only located in the living room, so I did need to crank it up a bit to heat the bedroom and bathroom. If you have someone sleeping in the living room or loft, they may get too hot, but this wouldn't be a huge issue I don't think. The shower worked fine, no issues w hot water or water pressure. Overall I would stay here again when visiting Flag! Definitely beats a motel or generic hotel situation.
Sjagger5 (10/5): Cabin 5 - perfect for a couples getaway! - Recently came to Flagstaff to enjoy the snow. Stayed in cabin 5 the “honeymoon” cabin. Super cute! The wood stove and jacuzzi tub were a nice welcome from the cold. The bed, with memory foam topper and pillows, provided one of the best nights of sleep I’ve ever had in a hotel. Close to Flagstaff proper for food and other activities. However, considering the cabin property is just outside of town, it was quiet and peaceful. We were able to enjoy the forest and snowshoe right off the front porch! I’ll definitely be returning!
Soccer_13_guy (10/5): Needed weekend getaway - Family weekend for my wife’s birthday! Stayed in cabin one. Such a great experience. Cabin was clean and disinfected. Staff was great at explaining everything and very accommodating. We even brought the pup. Was worried the heated floor wouldn’t be enough heat but it got it nice and cozy. We will definitely be coming back!
spensersfnm (6/5): Average stay and over priced - We had the largest cabin since it was the only one available. It stated fully furnished kitchen. Kitchen was furnished with old utensils, plates etc. Just awful. We were assured it had just been cleaned but the tables were sticky and dirty. There was no soap in the kitchen and no paper towels. The setting is really nice but people walking around did not have masks. Not a good experience.
JCzapski (10/5): Excellent Summer Getaway Escape - We spent 3 nights here and loved it. The only room available at the Inn for the nights we wanted (we decided to get away on the spur of the moment) was Room 24 which is a 2+ bedroom suite, way more than the two of us needed! It was lovely and, of course, overall spacious but uniquely quaint! The master had a king bed and a sink, the second bedroom had a queen bed, sink and alcove with rocking chair and table with Keurig and creamers, tea, etc. The “main sitting room” had two comfortable chairs with foot stools, a large wall-mounted TV that swiveled to face the chairs and another alcove nook with a twin bed. The toilet was in a tiny room adjoining between the two bedrooms. The shower was entered from the main room and was only slightly larger than the tiny room that the toilet was in. As I mentioned above, the suite was uniquely quaint! It all worked perfectly for 2....if you had 4 or 5 in there, unless it was a family with a couple and smaller kids or young teens, it might be tight and awkward with the one tiny toilet room. Covid precautions were in effect and very well managed. Masks were required upon entering the Inn. Once you checked into your room, no one entered it until you checked out except yourselves. If you needed anything, you simply advised the front desk staff and they provided it to you in a plastic bag. You ordered your breakfast for the following morning at the front desk from a set menu for a specific time. Once you sat down at the table for breakfast, you could remove your mask to eat. Once you were at the table, the staff member was in the nearby kitchen, masked up in case you needed anything more, but the table was well set. Coffee carafe was full, pitchers of water, juice & milk were full when you arrived. All condiments (creamer, sugar packets, jelly packets, etc, were on a Lazy Susan). Your entree (a choice of three different types of egg soufflé in a ramekin) was served along with a bowl of fruit and a warm muffin at your scheduled time. We were the only ones in the spacious dining room. Entrees were all excellent (there were three choices and between us, we tried all three). The front desk staff did 8-hour shifts so we saw a morning young lady and and afternoon one. The afternoon one prepped the breakfast and the morning one popped it in the oven & served it. Both were very helpful & friendly, gave us a sheet listing local restaurants by specialty when requested and assisted us when we needed a bag of ice for a pulled muscle! The various sized cabins on the grounds appeared to all be occupied and are independent of the breakfast so except for check in & out, they pretty much do their own thing and are widely spaced in the surrounding forest. The property is lovely and extremely quiet. If it were not for the window air conditioners in our suite, it would have been totally silent. I’m looking forward to a return visit in the Fall when the leaves change and we can open the windows! Outside temps were much cooler than the Valley but being on the third floor still required a/c, in July, unfortunately! We did Sunset Crater National Monument, Walnut Canyon National Monument & Snowbowl’s Gondola Summer Lift Ride for $19/pp which took you on a 20 minute round-trip ride up the mountain to 12,000’ with a lovely view of the surrounding area, including a distance view of the Grand Canyon, 76 miles away! Due to Covid restrictions and the fact we, personally, are not dining inside in restaurants, we found it difficult to find restaurants that were open (many, in general were totally closed) and had outside dining. We ended up dining at two different breweries with outside dining (both had excellent dinners) and then picking up a pizza the third night near the ASU campus and bringing it back to the Inn and eating in. Even a lot of pizzerias were totally closed.
cooperiris (10/5): Cabins - Had the chance to stay at az mntn inn for the first time this past weekend. Was a little nervous traveling during these covid times, but needed to stay the night in Flagstaff. The setting is beautiful the cabins are in among the Pines. They were immaculately clean and I felt very safe knowing that they were thoroughly disinfected. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I would highly recommend this place for a fun family gathering to stay in a cabin in the woods.

jefffJ1414VK (4/5): Poor Customer Service - Had purchased a gift certificate at a charity event with the hopes of staying here with my wife. Time got away from me and I was about a week away from it expiring. I tried calling to see if I were to reserve a room and pay in full if I could use it prior to the expiration date but they refused to honor it. In their defense I should have used it sooner but this is really just poor customer service. Rather than paying the difference of $250 they instead get nothing. Additionally, they miss out on the ability for me to refer friends if I had gone and enjoyed myself. On top of that, now they have a less than desirable review. It wouldn't have killed them to just honor the certificate since I did agree to use it prior to the date as well as prepaying for the full stay (even if it were non refundable).
LBABSN (6/5): OK facility - This is an adequate place to stay. We have stayed at better cabins/treehouses in other areas. For the price, I thought they would be a little more updated. I have never had to take my trash to the dumpster after leaving at any place I have stayed. The mattress in our cabin is old so you feel the springs. No TV in the cabin, but I take responsibility for that for not doing more research. Just never occurred to me that there wouldn't be a TV. I wrote a review previously, and I have never seen the owner comment. Doesn't seem like she has commented on any reviews for quite a while.

Lewis B (10/5): Tranquility on the road - We just needed a layover during a long road trip, and we’re so glad we stayed here! Way better and more economical than any of the Flagstaff hotels (at least the ones worth staying in). We got there after the office closed but the check in was still super easy. The cabin is darling and has everything you need (you can buy fire at the main office for the wood burning furnace in the living room), and was well furnished and clean. The camp area was really quiet, the cabins are well-spaced, and the stars were brilliant at night with little to no light pollution. It was also really easy having our dog with us, and the $15 dog fee is reasonable (compare to $100 at the avg hotel). If we find ourselves in the Flagstaff area again, I think we’ll stay here again.
Beth (10/5): - We booked online and wanted a place to stay with our pet. Expedia didn't filter out the "bed and breakfast" type of rooms that are not available for pets. When we checked in - they were able to move us to a cabin so that we could stay with our dog. We were very grateful for the room transfer and were lucky that there was a cabin available. So - with pets - you cannot stay in the main house - get a cabin. Very clean cabins and very functional!

Wish we could have stayed much longer, the place felt so homey. The location was wonderful, close to Flagstaff and yet in the outback at the same time. Sue (2/5): Very tired looking needs maintenance and some TLC. - We arrived early afternoon, the place was empty, tried to check in but the young girl on reception told us to drive around town for a couple of hours, we interrupted her day...lucky we saw the manager driving around the property and he let us in after he checked for "dust and mice", no mice so we were given the key. Cabin was okay fairly clean but very tired looking, very basic utensils in kitchen. The whole area is looking very tired needs some maintenance, a supply of firewood would have been nice, but you pay extra if you want a fire, it was still quite mild at night so no fire was needed. We stayed 3 nights as we were hiking in the area, glad we didn't spend too much time in the cabin, place was deserted only 2 other cabins were occupied, such a shame, the place has so much potential only a couple of miles from Flagstaff.

Loved the fireplace, the whirlpool tub, wifi, and staff was so thoughtful! Cozy cabin, perfect for two. Adequate kitchen, including utensils, BBQ, great setting in the pines. Can't wait to come back and stay alittle longer next visit.
