- Janice (9/5): Great budget hotel close to the center of Xela - Great location. Friendly staff. Comfortable bed. Secure. Given a key to leave or enter at any time. Place a little worn but typical for a budget hotel in Guatemala. Sound travels easily as all rooms open to central courtyard.

- Carlos (6/5): the hotel was fair - the location of the hotel is close to the city center, the beds were good but some of those are unusable, the bathroom is too stretched and the hot water is just warmer. the parking lot, we have to take our car too early from the parking and pay extra charges in other public parking for the rest of the time before we leave.

- Mathilde (3/5): very central but not the best choice if you want to rest - it’s very central but also noisier than I expected taking a private room advertised as “with a private entrance.” very noisy, all conversations outside the room can be heard from the room. the window faces the inner courtyard/common space, so very little privacy if you open the curtains.

Slightly musty smell near sink, weird light bulbs in room, beds all varied a lot, but luckily one was pretty comfy, would be nice to have darker curtains as well as light comes through them pretty easy.

- Rachel (5/5): friendly staff and good location but bad hygiëne - good location, friendly staff, rooftop with nice view bathroom wasn’t clean when we got there (hairs in the shower) and crumbs on the chair. the kitcherig was also dirty. the closet underneath the sink was fallen apart. the shower was cold, but they did offer us to change rooms. they were friendly, but it felt like they didn’t have enough staff.

The wall colors are little bit disturbing I think less is more and maybe they need to try to be minimalistics , use neutral colors that are more visually more pleasant The painting out side the dorms are great though, we love it !

It’s filthy, the beds sag, the pillows are the worst I have ever seen, the shower is mouldy, the room stinks of Febreeze so strongly that it is giving me a headache, the LED light is giving me a headache, my room opens onto a super busy street and the chaos permeates the room even with earplugs, I had to ask for a blanket that is not wet, the wifi sucks, the staff was rude, there is no ventilation. My shuttle arrived late otherwise I would have found another place for tonight. I paid for 2 nights but there is no way in hell I am staying here again tomorrow. Total sh!t hole!!!
