It was clean, roomy, and quiet. We would recommend. The location was a good jumping off point for visits to Cavendish and the North Cape.
• Jim (10/5): Wonderful experience! - If you're looking for a home-like atmosphere rather than a chain motel, this is definitely the place to go! Very spacious with quality vintage furnishings. Incredibly comfortable and relaxing stay. It was a pleasure to interact with the owners and staff. We will be staying here for all our annual PEI visits. Highly recommend!

• Sekyoung (10/5): A Storybook Stay in Summerside - Our stay at Holman’s Heritage Suites was truly wonderful. The house was spotless, comfortable, and filled with antique charm that brought Anne of Green Gables to mind. The kitchen had everything we needed, the location was excellent, and the ice cream shop downstairs was absolutely delicious. We also loved the beautiful garden and the local performances. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, which made our stay even more special. Visiting PEI for the first time with our children was unforgettable, and we left with such happy memories. I would highly recommend this place to friends and anyone visiting the island!

• Kelly (10/5): Amazing place in a quaint town! - We stayed in the Holman executive suite. The accomations were wonderful. The full kitchen was perfect for saving on meals. The space was clean spacious and perfect for the family. Some perks included the best ice cream doqnstairs and the ability to do a load of laundry. The owners were very nice and available if you needed anything. This stay was nothing less than perfect for our family of four.

It has a private entrance from the ground floor, a living room and kitchen on the second floor of the home and a bedroom with two Queen beds, a big walk in closet and a bathroom on the third floor. We enjoyed exploring the island and coming home to the most delicious ice cream every night!
• Sharron (10/5): - We stayed for 3 nights and it was a great base for exploring central PEI. It was an easy walk to lots of places to eat and to the boardwalk for sunset. Ellen’s garden suite was clean, comfortable, and very cute, with chairs on the patio if we didn’t want to sit right in the garden. The ice cream shop conveniently located below was a great place for a treat in the evening! Check in / check out was very easy and having laundry available was another excellent perk!
• Amy (10/5): Comfort of home - This was a homey experience. The apartment was very comfortable and worked great for our family. The location was beautiful and convinient. The host was fantastic and communicated well before and durning our stay. We woukd 100% stay here again!
• Lorraine (10/5): - Holman Suites is a fantastic place to stay! The second floor apartment has a kitchen (full refrigerator, toaster, toaster oven, hot plate, kettle & microwave…no oven) The kitchen is well stocked. There is a living room, bathroom and separate spacious bedroom with a comfortable queen sized bed and wardrobe with lots of windows offering natural light. It’s 2 blocks from the ocean and is above Holmans Ice Cream parlour…the ice cream is so yummy! Free onsite parking This is my second time staying here and highly recommend it! The staff are so friendly!
• Jaunni (10/5): - A lovely and well cared for property with everything you need. The suites are soundproof and well stocked. We ate the most delicious ice cream every day, sat by the outdoor fire, enjoyed the gardens and loved every minute. We will definitely be returning.

The smell of ice cream was often whafting through the floor of the living room and we had to make sure to have a visit downstairs to try it! Communication with the owners was thorough and check in was so easy. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it again.
• Tracy (10/5): Mini vacay 2025 - The weather was amazing during our stay July 18-20, 2025 the room was well air conditioned so you could sleep comfortably. The fact there was an ice cream parlour downstairs was a big added bonus. It was also very quiet in the room you would never know there was an ice cream parlour downstairs. It was close to anywhere you wanted to go. It was my son and nephews first time to the island so it was a great experience for both of them and they really enjoyed themselves. I would recommend Holmans to anyone looking for a place to stay on the island it’s a home away from home.

• Diane (10/5): - Nice location in heritage home. Downtown there is the most delicious ice cream business in PEI, they are very busy, it did not affect our stay. Lots of space with bedroom, kitchen area and living room.
• Robyn (10/5): - We booked for the CBMF weekend, the rate was very reasonable, and the room offered everything we wanted. The check-in was contactless as we had received instruction and a door code in advance. We had no issues whatsoever. It is a lovely property, our suite was perfect with a separate bedroom, pull out couch in the living area and a kitchenette. Parking was included and on the property. We checked out early Sunday morning, and realized when we were unpacking at home that we had left a souvenir from the festival in the room. When I called, Daniel was very helpful and quickly sent me a picture to confirm what had been forgotten. He arranged to have the item shipped back to us. Fantastic service!

• Angeline (10/5): - My daughter and I really enjoyed our stay at Holman’s! We had a beautiful studio. Close to everything in Summerside and walking distance to pier and restaurants. We also enjoyed our evening scoop of delicious Holmans home made ice cream right downstairs!
• Daniel (10/5): - The apartment was quite comfortable and spacious with a separate living room. It is situated above an ice cream (excellent by the way) parlor and parking is easy and secure. Access is easy and staff was well prepared for our arrival. Message exchange with owner prior to arrival gave all info required for easy access. Only drawback is you cannot control temperature in the apt as it is controlled downstairs by the ice cream parlor. Depending on the season of your visit it may not be an issue. In between seasons, it is a little different as you may want warmer in the bedroom but cannot adjust. I assume if it was an issue, the owners would cooperate and help you out. They want you to be comfortable.
• Joyce (10/5): - Our apartment above the famous ice cream shop was spacious, clean, well appointed. The gardens downstairs are just lovely and the perfect spot for an early morning cup of tea. The location is near downtown, the waterfront, and the walking trail. We highly recommend the apartments.

• Rhonda (10/5): - We loved staying at Holman’s Heritage Suites. Our room was the Sister’s Parlour Room. It is a large suite, with large bedroom, comfy bed and plenty of living space. Some nice antique pieces with a mix of modern makes the room lovely. All very clean. Having the Holman’s Ice Cream Parlour below us made it very easy to buy a few tasty ice creams. I loved the outside gardens.
• Stéphanie (10/5): - Nous avons adoré notre séjour à Summerside! L’emplacement était très pratique afin de visiter la ville ainsi que d’être tout près de plusieurs petites boutiques. De plus, les enfants étaient sous le charme de la petite crèmerie dont nous avions facilement accès au premier étage de notre hébergement. La communication avec les propriétaires était simple et efficace, point que j’ai également apprécié. Seul point à améliorer, j’aurai apprécié des produits de toilette (shampoing, revitalisant, savon, etc.) sous le même format que ceux qu’on retrouve dans les hôtels et non de grosses bouteilles à partager, donc prévoir ceci si vous êtes comme moi et que vous n’aimez pas les format à « partager ».
• Christine (10/5): A great place on PEI! - We enjoyed our stay at Holman’s (I mean, it’s above an ice cream parlour…) - we stayed in Suite 2. It was comfy and a great hub for our adventures in PEI. Full kitchen, streaming channels on the TV and a great comfy bed. The bathroom was also great - nice water pressure, fluffy towels and lots of room. We stayed a few weeks before the season opened so the island was quieter. And the ice cream - we had rocky road and tin roof. So yummy! Highly recommend staying here!

They took great care in communicating several times leading up to our stay on such things as the check in, room, directions, ice cream parlor, parking, etc. The only thing that we didnt have was cable to watch the hockey games at night. There was a large screen tv with roku, disney+, and netflix, so we had lots to watch, except the playoff hockey game lol. We would definitely stay there again!

The kitchen/living area was nice and bright. And the beautiful garden was perfect for enjoying our morning coffee (with Summerside's best coffee shop just two blocks away). A very relaxing place to stay!

The morning we were set to arrive I received a message that they had received a last-minute cancellation and they were upgrading us (a family of 4) to their executive suite (we originally booked the sister's parlor, I believe). It was beyond thoughtful. Their communication was so clear before, during, and after our stay. Not to mention the AMAZING ice cream downstairs. It was a child's paradise staying above an ice cream shop. Thank you so much Ken and Jenny!! We will be back and will tell everyone that is visiting PEI about where to stay for sure!!!!!

• My My (10/5): - Ken was very accommodating when we needed to move the date of our stay up. The suite was very comfortable and spacious. We especially appreciated having laundry facilities as we were travelling for some time. Ken was available to help with all of our needs and very friendly.

The property itself was immaculate. Seriously I think it was the cleanest place I’ve ever stayed at. The room was well cared for, Ken approachable and friendly!! I would stay there again !! Check out JMK fish market - we ate lobster for breakfast lunch and supper! We had great mussels and haddock at Deckside as well! The sunsets at Summerside were something to behold as well!
