- Elizabeth (10/5): - This is our 5th time staying here. In the middle of everything. Very nice condo. Very clean and nicely decorated. Pool area was nice. Pool warm. Front desk staff was amazing. Lobby decorated perfect for fall and Halloween. Very inviting lodge. Easy check in and check out. A must stay.

- Kathryn (10/5): - We had a very nice stay at Scandinavian Lodge. We had way more room than we needed for the two of us, but we made good use of the space. We ate breakfast at the condo and most of our other meals out exploring the nearby restaurants. Sister Bay was a lovely location. The bed was comfortable. There was an abundance of hot water in the shower. I could envision coming back with our daughter's family. There would have been room for all of us.

- Michele (10/5): Fall Getaway to Door County - Beautiful lodge with condos. We had a two bedroom, two bath unit. Had two patios with a picnic table on one and lounge chairs on the other. Indoor pool, whirlpool and sauna were spotless. Very relaxing week. Centrally located to the most popular Door County areas.
- Carissa (10/5): Very impressed - I loved the Scandinavian Lodge! I stayed in a room with my sister. My favorite part was that there were 2 rooms within the room so we could have our own space. We had a very lovely room. I loved the style and color scheme. The kitchen had everything you could need. There was a TV in the living room and each bedroom. There was a spacious tub and two bathrooms. Amazing!

I would say that the rooms are very outdated. The room we stayed in furniture was outdated cabinets, etc. The shower/bathroom was definitely needing to be renovated But overall, I would say it was a decent property.

- Karen (10/5): Ideal Door County location - I have stayed at Scandinavian Lodge a few times before and it is always a pleasure. It's in a great location to all the attractions of Door County. The unit was nicely decorated and spotless. I highly recommend Scandinavian Lodge.

- Dave (8/5): Nice Place Rude Staff - We enjoyed our stay and I would rate this place higher if not for the unfriendly staff! The staff at the front desk was nice at check-in, but immediately after they turned to one of the most unfriendly, rudest staff I’ve ever encountered. They completely ignore guests after check in. When returning from being out you pass right by the front. desk. In 3 days I never received a “ hello” “how are things” “any questions.” Just rude. The front desk employees acted as tho they were mad people were there. A little customer acknowledgement would go a long way.

Very poor shower design. We appreciated that the Air conditioners worked as expected since it was a very hot weekend. Our granddaughter enjoyed the pool.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Had a great stay! My only complaint is that I actually chose this property over another because of the fitness center. On vacation I can only work out early or late which was not an option because it didn't open until 8 and closed at 9

- Gretchen (8/5): - Easy reservation and check in. Condo very clean and well furnished. Location is excellent- close to shopping, dining and local attractions. Only thing we didn’t like was the multiple doors by bathroom and bedroom. Always hitting each other due to hall and bedroom access.

- Luis (4/5): - Old hotel, just location was good. There was no good curtains or blackout so the sun was very strong at 5am at sunrise so it was impossible to sleep. No housekeeping available also so thats also a problem. Wouldn’t stay here again.

The room was wonderful it had a full kitchen, dining area, living room, bedroom with a whirlpool and a large bathroom. Two exits to the deck with a great view of the outdoor pool area. This location was close to downtown Sister Bay. I will definitely be back on my next stay.

- Benevolence (10/5): - We had 2 rooms.One was a roomy studio with king bed, whirlpool, microwave, mini fridge. Bed was comfortable. Built in drawers for clothes. Second room was a 2 bedroom.Condo with 2 bath.Very roomy very nicely set up big balcony, Facing the pool and yard. Large pool inside and outside, hot tub, ping pong table. Game room and even a kiddy pool indoors. Staff was very nice and accommodating. It was a minute away from grocery store and downtown Sister bay, very convenient.

- Stephanie (10/5): - This place was amazing! The room was so spacious and clean! Even the deck outside was free from dirt and the outdoor furniture was nice and clean as well. Both pools were very well up-kept and were heated, so it was awesome! The grounds are beautiful with a nice swing set for the kids and different outdoor activities for adults as well. Will definitely be coming back!!!

Clean, updated room, heated outdoor pool, single, fenced tennis court, great location (comfortable walk down to Sister Bay along side streets & then all on sidewalks), and wonderfully friendly staff--from the front desk to the pool guy. We just loved the old school vibe here--actual metal keys which can we used to lock the patio door when you had out. Lastly, the U-shaped design of the complex creates a cozy and social central outdoor space, located away from the highway and centered around the outdoor pool. All parts of the lodge are close and easy to get to. We'll be back.

- Verified traveler (10/5): Cozy and clean - Reception was friendly and welcoming. The pool area and the playground were very clean and well kept, the rooms’ temperature control, fireplace, dishwasher, oven…all worked well. All the pans, pots, dishes and silverware we needed were included. Comfy beds and overall cozy atmosphere. The place is dated but well kept. The game room was very small (three arcade games, one foosball table).
- David (10/5): Great stay - The room was spacious and had everything we needed. 2 bathrooms are a huge plus with a teenage girl. We were able to make breakfast in our room each morning and had plenty of space to play games. The patio areas were great as well as the tennis court and rackets to use. Location was great. Pool area was great as well.
- Theresa (10/5): - Very friendly staff at checkout. Had a first floor room with private patio on the center courtyard (outside pool) area with a private picnic table and chairs. Playground equipment was clean, tennis court didn't have a net (off season) but I think that was better for the kids (they played with an imaginary net). We used the sauna, hot tub, kiddie pool and sauna - all were clean and in working order. Pool temp was very warm/comfortable (not too much of a shock when going from the hot tub to the pool). It was off season so not very busy (which was nice for pool time - seemed to be enough tables/chairs for all families using the pool). Not sure how crazy it would be on a busy weekend as the indoor pool area isn't the biggest but perfect for the off season. They also have a pool side basketball hoop, basketballs, kickboards and misc water toys. Only issue we had was with the toaster - it should be replaced - had to hold down the handle for it to toast (ended up using the stove to toast our bagels/bread). Just a short distance from downtown Sister Bay. Overall a really cute place, would visit again.

- Jamie (10/5): - This is our second time staying at the Scandinavian. First time was in 2023. Last year we stayed at the Newport. Huge mistake and absolutely terrible experience. We came back to the Scandinavian and so glad we did! Front desk staff are so pleasant and helpful. Our room (209) was wonderful! A huge wrap around balcony, beds are SOOO comfortable and it’s just so cozy! We ended up adding one more night to our trip because of bad weather. (Snow storm and a 5 hour drive home- nope!!) Off season rates are very affordable and definitely worth every penny! Not one negative thing about this place. 10/10 absolutely recommend!!
