The location of the hotel was great. Very close to places to eat and grocery stores. I thought the beds were very comfortable. The rooms are very spacious if you have need a big room for your family to spread out. I lighting in the bedroom was not very bright. Also would be nice to have a big mirror on the bedroom wall. The only mirror is in the bathroom. So you have to crowd around the only mirror to get ready.

- k0urtnayh (2/5): PoopGate in room 221 - DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL!!! DOG FECES IN ROOM AT CHECK IN AND “GM” SHIRLEY PEREZ is VERY unprofessional, incompetent, dismissive, and takes no accountability. Background: We stayed here for 3 nights and 4 days for a volleyball tournament. We ALWAYS book Hilton hotels because we are Hilton Honors members. I have NEVER received the type of service like I received for this trip. We checked in around 1am February 27 first off they don’t give you your digital key (like every other Hilton) you have to actually go to the desk and check in to get your digital key per the night desk clerk (I forget his name) it’s SHIRLEY PEREZ’s rule to have guest come to the front desk to check in to get the digital key ..inconvenient but not a huge deal. We get to the room (room 221 to be exact, right by the elevators) and within 15-20 I noticed a few stains by the lamp in the living room area that was DOG FECES! I immediately go to the front desk and let the clerk know (showed him the photos) he advises that the housekeeping crew is gone (it’s 1am) and won’t be back til the morning but he would call the other Hilton up the street to see if they can accommodate us. He calls the other Hilton they can’t accommodate us. He told me to come back in the morning and let the morning desk clerk know about the situation so they can have the cleaning crew clean the room. This is unfortunate but I have no other options so, whatever. Next morning rolls around the entire hotel smells like freezer burnt food has been cooked. I go down to get breakfast and the smell is coming from these freezer burnt undercooked “fries”.I know hotel breakfast is not good but this has got to be the WORST. Anyway this isn’t about breakfast back to the PoopGate…. After breakfast I go to the front desk and I ask for a manager. The “GM” Shirley doesn’t work on weekends so they ask what the issue is. I tell them about the poop and I tell them to come and clean my room once we leave to head to the tournament the lady gives me Shirley’s contact card and later that day I go back down and her the okay that the cleaning crew can come clean the room. When we return later that night THE POOP IS STILL THERE! At this point I’m too tired to argue and fight about getting this poop cleaned so the next day I went back down to the front desk to let them know my room never got cleaned. The lady took note of it and said someone would come to clean. NOBODY EVER CLEANED THE POOP FROM THE FLOOR OF ROOM 221!!! NOBODY! We had to stay in a room for 3 nights with somebody’s dog feces on the floor!! Once we returned home I called SHIRLEY PEREZ (March 3rd to be exact) and before I could even fully explain the situation her exact words to me were (with attitude) “why would you need to speak with me?!? Anybody there could have assisted you!” Well Shirley, if you would have let me finish you would know that NOBODY assisted me at all! She was very dismissive, and very rude! She advised she would talk to her “team” and give me a call back. 16 Days go by…yes, 16 days and I hadn’t heard a peep from Shirley. So I sent an email with photos trying to find some resolution for the inconvenience. Here’s the good part. Shirley responds via email and advised that after her “thorough review the dog feces was not reported at the time of check-in, but rather the following day. Once it was brought to our attention, our team did respond and attended to the room. Our findings indicate that the issue occurred during the stay, and therefore we are unable to provide compensation for this matter.” SHIRLEY PEREZ is not only calling ME a liar but SHE in fact is lying because that room was NEVER cleaned! And there couldn’t have possibly been a “thorough” investigation because she would have seen me on camera at 1am going back down to the front desk to report the poop! The camera footage would also show the cleaning crew NOT coming to my room! I’m in such disbelief how we have been treated by SHIRLEY PEREZ she is a terrible GM and this hotel besides its proximity to the parks and the convention center, SUCKS! DO NOT BOOK!

- asharax (4/5): Inconsistent Housekeeping During Extended Stay - I stayed at the Homewood Suites for four weeks. Unfortunately, housekeeping and maintenance standards were inconsistent throughout my stay. During the first week, I accidentally spilled a small amount of food on the bed linens. By the end of week four, the sheets had never been changed. Housekeeping also did not consistently restock basic items. We had to call multiple times to request tissue paper and toilet paper. The body wash in the shower dispenser ran out halfway through the first week and was never refilled during the remainder of our stay. The bathtub drain was also in poor condition (see photo). It appeared dirty, and during showers longer than about five minutes, water would back up significantly, leaving you standing in several inches of water. This made showering uncomfortable and suggests the drain requires proper cleaning or maintenance. I appreciated that breakfast was included; however, the quality was inconsistent. On one morning, the oatmeal was extremely watered down and not really edible. That said, I do want to mention one bright spot: Nadia, who is often mopping the hallway floors in the mornings, was absolutely lovely. She greets guests by wishing them a “beautiful, wonderful day,” and her warmth truly stood out. We loved seeing her each day. Overall, the hotel has potential and some genuinely kind staff, but housekeeping reliability and basic maintenance need significant improvement, especially for guests staying multiple weeks.

- daniellegA457HK (6/5): Problems with management and parking - I stayed here in October, and overall, the hotel itself was fine. If your stay is problem-free, you’ll likely have no issues. However, if something does go wrong, getting help from management is extremely difficult, and issues are unlikely to be resolved. I reached out multiple times to the front desk requesting to speak with a manager concerning some issues during my stay, and each time I was told that no one was available. I also left several messages for Shirley Perez, none of which were ever returned. Putting that aside, additionally, the outside parking company contracted by the hotel is impossible to reach with questions or concerns. They charge your account with no way to contact them or resolve issues. I feel if the hotel contracts them, they should take an active role in helping you resolve your issues, and as stated with other issues I had, they are no way to be found. Because of the lack of accessible management and support, I would be hesitant to stay here again.

Solo funcionaba 1 ascensor en la zona principal y otro auxiliar, pero para un edificio tan grande se quedaba corto, además era el mismo que usaban las personas de servicios generales del hotel con basuras y contenedores de lavandería. La habitación no estaba del todo limpia, en uno de los cajones de la cómoda de la habitación principal había ropa sucia del huesped anterior. Adicionalmente cobran por parquear 27 dólares diarios lo que no me parece bien, deberían incluirlo en el alojamiento, o dejarlo gratis para los huépedes.

- lynsworthd (4/5): Great hotel and staff; not so great execution - I was there for one night for for work. The parking is a bit outrageous. It was $27 to park for the night. Had to scan an QR code and register my vehicle and pay on a webpage. It was just the parking lot in front of the hotel, no valet or anything like that and not included with the room charges. I enjoy staying in suites where I can prepare my own meals. The hotel was in a great location and everything was clean and neat. The front desk staff both in the evening, Jeydimar, and in the morning, Oskar, were very friendly and extremely helpful. I attempted to request a late check out the night before and was informed that I needed to wait until the morning, for availability, and to inquire at the front desk. This is very understandable and not an issue. I requested a 1pm late check out in the morning and was granted a 12 noon check out. Upon returning to my room, it had already been entered and cleaned. The only thing I left in the room was a bag of unused groceries on the counter and perishable items in the refrigerator in a cooler. I was able to retrieve my cooler and searched the room again to make sure I hadn’t left anything else. Then I left. It wasn’t until I was unloading my car that I realized I did not have my groceries. I called the hotel and was basically told there’s nothing they can do. Since most things are thrown away when the room is entered for cleaning. It’s a shame because I don’t think the cleaning staff was aware that I had an extended check out until noon (I even left the magnet outside the door that said “hitting snooze“ to indicate that I was still in the room). My groceries were healthy and organic which are not very cheap. I wish the message had gotten to the staff not to enter the room prior to my late checkout time. Outside of this everything else was fine.

The hotel next door only charged $15 and we were told at booking. If this is a thing then we'll remember to book with Marriott next time. Also Hilton doesn't give you their points if you book through a third party. Staff couldn't really have cared less if we were there or not.

- Nikki120683Eng (6/5): Perfectly acceptable if the price is right! - We stayed from 12/27/25 through 01/03/26. Family of 3, with a child under 10. We loved the location; central to all 3 of the major theme parks with (limited) shuttle service, walking distance to SeaWorld, easy access to the I-Ride Trolley, and close to CVS, 7/11 and Bonefish Grill for basic necessities and full-on meals. The public areas are all kept up very nicely, with clean lobby bathrooms and a big open breakfast area, with some tables featuring outlets to charge your electronics. Coffee in the lobby was also fresh and strong; such a nice difference from most hotels where it usually tastes like dirty dishwater. Xavier at the front desk is incredible, as are the breakfast attendants who work especially hard. All staff members that we encountered were kind and helpful. We were put in room #724, which was at the end of a short hallway; with only 1 room to our left and one across from us, this made our room especially quiet so, unlike 95% of other hotels we've stayed at, we had no complaints about noise. The hallways here are very warm, which worked fine for us as it happened to be fairly chilly the week we were there, but I could see it being an issue in the warmer months if the AC doesnt keep up, as I've seen mentioned in other reviews. Upon entering the room we noticed a slight odor, almost like old food and humidity. It wasn't terrible and was unnoticeable after a bit. We have encountered better/worse odors in other hotels, so I would say this was one of the least offensive odors, but I would've liked it to smell a little fresher. The room was spacious with a lot of bare unused space, and limited storage. The room sleeps 6 between the 2 Queen-sized beds in the bedroom and the pull out couch in the living room, and we found the storage adequate for 3 but can't imagine it being enough for 6 people. There were only 2 dressers in the entire suite, and 1 of them had half of its drawers broken and entirely unusable. For these reasons, we speculated that maybe there was more furniture at some point but it had been broken and never replaced. The living room consisted of a sleeper couch (which was damaged and stained), one armchair, 1 end table, 1 small rectangle ottoman with a modular wooden top to use as a small coffee table, 1 floor lamp and 1 table lamp; these lamps were the only source of light in the living room, apart from any light emitted from the kitchen area, making the living room very dark unless the curtains were open during daylight hours. Neither couch nor chair were comfortable for longer than 10 minutes. It needs another seat and end table, and definitely more light. The kitchen had a full sized fridge, 2 burner cook top, large microwave, dishwasher, 2-slice toaster and single serve coffee maker. Lighting in this room was sufficient. There were enough cups, plates and bowls for only 4 people, and limited silverware including only 1 steak knife. The dishwasher was cracked, and was moldy/dirty inside. Due to lack of dishware, we usually hand washed our used plates and such, but on our last night I loaded some dishes into the dishwasher with the intention of running a load to test it, but I forgot...so, to the housekeeping staff who walked into a load of dishes still needing to be washed, I'm so sorry! The vent in the microwave worked, but the surface light for the cook top didn't. A small bottle of dish soap and 1 packet of dishwasher detergent was provided, but no washcloth or sponge, so we used one of the face cloths from the bathroom as a dishcloth. In between the living room and kitchen was a small dining table with only 2 chairs and 1 pendant light directly over it. The bedroom had 2 queen sized beds, a large desk with a rolling chair, 1 dresser, and 1 nightstand to share between the beds. The headboards included outlets, but they were so loose that our phone chargers kept falling out. The desk didn't have a lamp (which seems crazy to me), a pen or notepad. The only light in the room came from the light in the ceiling fan and 2 sconces over the nightstand that were cracked, yellowed, and not very bright. Again, another room that is dark unless the curtains are open. The beds were fairly firm, but not entirely uncomfortable. The pillows however, offered no support no matter how we folded, fluffed or stacked them. My husband and I slept so badly the entire trip because of it. I will say, most hotels don't offer awesome pillows (in our opinion) so we expect them to fall short, but these we HORRENDOUS. The bathroom area is split into 2 zones and is easily the best lit room(s) of the entire suite. The sink zone opens up to the bedroom without a door or privacy curtain, making it difficult to get ready without bothering sleeping children or spouses. There is a closet that has mirrors as doors; the only full length mirrors in the entire suite. The closet had plenty of hanging space, but not enough hangers. The safe is located in the closet. The toilet and shower/tub zone is separated by a door that had some damage, but it didn't effect the functionality of the door. The water pressure was a joke and only one setting on the shower head provided enough water pressure to properly wash my hair; a 10 minute shower at my home is sufficient to shampoo and condition my medium length hair, but in this shower it took me close to 30 minutes due to lack of water pressure. The fan wasn't sufficient enough to keep the walls from being covered by condensation during every shower, resulting in rusty door hinges and A LOT of mold in the toilet tank and lid. The shower itself was pristine and mold free (I've only ever seen a hotel shower this clean 2 other times in my life!), but the shower head needs a good descaling and deep cleaning. The toilet had a slight leak out the back, and something was wrong with the tank filling mechanism as it was constantly running a slow steady stream of water. Again, functionality wasn't effected so we didn't bring it up to hotel staff at the time. There was an AC unit in the living room and bedroom. The living room unit didn't seem to get the room cooler than 73 but the bedroom unit worked great. Both units created quite a puddle of condensation on top of them. The filter in the bedroom AC was pristine, but the one in the living room could use a cleaning. The rugs were stained all over, which seems like an easy fix considering it seemed to be all rug squares and should've been fairly simple to change them out..but, what do I know? The walls were scuffed, which happens and we expect to see it, but they were also dirty in many places with questionable stains and smears of chunky, yucky, gunk in some spots. There are only two hooks in the entire suite, and they are located in the bathroom. This means there isn't enough space for towels to properly dry and no space at the front door to hang jackets or purses, etc. I've never experienced such a lack of hooks before and this made our lives much more difficult, honestly. Breakfast in the lobby is more than sufficient, especially if your expectations are fair. This isn't the Four Seasons, Hash House or even Denny's/IHOP but is more than sufficient to feed even the pickiest eaters. The breakfast attendants work hard and put up with a lot of entitlement and rudeness from hotel guest (do better, fellow travelers!). They change out and rotate hot selections and offer a variety of options from toast and bagels, to oatmeal and yogurt. There are waffle makers (3 of them, I think..maybe 4?) that get backed up during the breakfast rush, after about 8am. Either pack your patient pants or go early...your choice! The hotel offers LIMITED shuttle service to Universal, SeaWorld, and Disney. Check the front desk for the most current shuttle info. Alternately, the I-Ride Trolley is a short walk away and can get you to SeaWorld, I-drive and even Universal if you know how to manage it; from the main lobby take a left out the front door, and another left when you reach the road and you'll reach stop G16 South bound in less than 5 minutes. Need G16 North bound? Just cross the road (which is called Sea Harbor Ave, by the way) and the north bound stop is directly in front of the Hilton Grand Vacations Club. If you want to walk it, SeaWorld is up the road, about 10-20 minutes walk depending on your pace. Simply cross Sea Harbor drive as if you are heading to the G16 North bound trolley stop but pass the I-Ride Trolley stop and continue walking up Sea Harbor Ave. Cross Central Florida parkway using the crosswalk and continue walking north and you will see SeaWorld directly on your right. Cross the parking lot by continuing to walk towards the rides and you'll eventually reach the walkway to the main entrance to the park. It's a very easy walk, and sometimes faster than waiting for the Trolley. The water quality in this area is TERRIBLE. Orlando tap water is notoriously bad, so we expect to use our filtered bottles, but this trip in particular had the worst tap water we've ever experienced. The SeaWorld tap water was otrocious and the hotel water was only slightly better. There was a bottle filling station downstairs near the lobby restrooms, and even though this water was filtered, it still tasted funny. We have stayed at various Orlando hotels including on-site at Disney and Universal, and have never experienced water this bad. The hotel really needs a better filtration system. Rinsing our mouths after brushing our teeth was just yucky...the water tasted and even smelled bad. The hotel does have laundry facilities but there are only 3 sets of washers and dryers for the entire hotel. This is insufficient. Also, the washers smell moldy and need their drums and gaskets cleaned. I am unsure if the washers are operated by the hotel or a 3rd party, but either way, this needs to be addressed. All-in-all we enjoyed our stay and would stay here again IF the price is right. However, if I'm being honest, we would rather pay a little extra for better water pressure and cleaner rooms.

- Claudia (7/5): Not happy at all - The breakfast The fact the room is cleaned every 2 days. I life my underwear and charging devices in the draw i contacted the hotels to try to get my items back but from 20th Dec to date they have not bothered to reply to my request and I assume I will never find out what happened to my items. Not happy with how this turned out.

- Melissa (5/5): Just okay. - We had the one bedroom suite and we enjoyed the extra space. We checked in and I took our two young kids to the room while my husband parked and brought in the majority of our luggage. My 5 year old had to go to the bathroom, so he pooped in the toilet. My 3 year old won’t go to the bathroom unless the toilet is flushed, so we flushed the toilet and it was clogged and suddenly, we had no bathroom. The 3 year old needed to go, so because I can’t leave a 5 year old alone, all three of us had to go down to the lobby to use the bathroom. My husband got up to the room and was worried that we weren’t there. But, he also had to go to the bathroom, so upon finding the clogged toilet, he headed to the lobby where he found us going back to the room. Someone came to fix it within the hour and we had no further toilet issues. It was just a bad start to our experience there. My daughter also found a skittle on the floor and tried to eat it, but otherwise, it seemed clean. One of the beds was very uncomfortable, the other was fine. The next morning, we had to do some engineering to get the shower to work. Breakfast was okay, but we skipped it our second day. Paying $27/night to park there is a bit ridiculous. We are Disney AP holders and usually stay on Disney property, but there weren’t any rooms available for this weekend. All in all, it was okay, but we won’t stay here again.
