• Rainer (8/5): Mega Lage direkt am Strand, Baumhaus Feeling, Küche mit Wichtigsten ausgestattet, gute Lage zu Bar, Restaurant, Supermar - Lage direkt am Strand, Ausrichtung nach Westen (schöne Sonnenuntergänge) Doppelgeschoss mit 2 unabhängigen Doppel Schlafzimmer und Badezimmer. Wenig Stauraum, Handtuchhalter, Haken, praktische Ablagen, etc.. Haben unseren Koffer unters Bett geschoben und Kleider nicht ausgeräumt.
• Andrew (10/5): Serene and Heavenly. - A simple yet comfortable home from home. The most beautiful views possible. Kept immaculately clean and we were well looked after by the fantastic Rolling. There are steep steps to access the property but well worth the effort. The elevated position along with the ample ventilation keeps the whole apartment naturally cool so don't let the lack of air con put you off. Hand We had an amazing 10 days there and were really sad to have to leave. Feeding birds on the balcony was the icing on the cake, with a cockrico and a motmot cheeky enough to take pieces of banana from our hands.
• Karen (9/5): Lovely relaxing holiday - Lovely location and view. Balcony for the 2 bedroom apartment only accessible via the bedroom upstairs which I was not aware of when booking. Otherwise excellent. We booked the 2 bedroomed apartment and the balcony was smaller than we expected. The larger balcony is for the 1 bedroom apartment

Svegliarsi con il rumore delle onde e il mare di fronte, fare aperitivo sulla terrazza con la vista del sole che tramonta dietro al mare... Abbiamo adorato ogni singolo momento! Grazie anche a Rolling (il property manager) che è stato sempre disponibile a qualsiasi ora per aiutarci. Come in tutti i Caraibi, ci sono zanzare quindi munitevi bene di repellenti.

• Jane (10/5): Paradise which will stay in memories for a very long time …. - Fantastic location and design layout! Amazing bedroom & shower with astounding unforgettable views over the beach (max 5 min walk) watching manta rays & the beautiful sunsets from the balcony. Apart from thoughts below this is a truly amazing place!!! Toilets could have been cleaner & toiletries in both bedrooms not just one? Better more flexible lighting at night time for when you need it. It can be a bit shadowy! Perhaps a welcome pack always a great gesture. The mosquito net in the top room (ceiling hanging style) was pretty useless & looked a bit used.

• Victoria (9/5): A week in heaven on Heavenly Bay! - The location was extraordinary. Yes, there were steps, of course there were, the house is high, with amazing views of the beach and ocean. The motion sensor lights on the steep outdoor steps were a great help in navigating them safely. The housekeeper was brilliant - despite feeling unwell - she went above and beyond to clean and change bedding and towels three times during our week stay. Rolling, the house manager, did his best to make contact and sort out initial access issues - we did expect to be met by him on arrival but he did stop by later during our stay to check we were ok. The house had almost everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Just perfect! We did ask for some shade on the balcony - but were told a sun umbrella for the table wasn't possible due to to the wind. Understandable at that height. Some kind of canopy would be a great benefit to the comfort of guests. A replacement hummingbird feeder was also requested but never materialised. We still managed to feed the other birds - a beautiful array of local birds came and fed. There is really nothing not to like...although maybe a toaster would be good. Make sure you take good earplugs as the sounds of the village travel - all part of the experience.

• Sam (8/5): A fabulous apartment overall, and a brilliant view of the bay - Location and view. Rolling fixed up a hummingbird station for us Wonderful kitchen pans! Balcony could be wider to take a table. No soap provided We were let down for transport from the airport. Rolling didn’t turn up … cost us twice as much as expected to take another taxi
• Chris (9/5): Rustic accommodation on a fabulous beach. - The position was fabulous. Right on beautiful beach and 10 mins walk to the village, easier when you found the shortcuts. Quite hilly so not great for people with walking difficulties, we were fine. I don’t like to write negative things.

• Mehran (1/5): Don’t recommend to anyone and won’t book it again at this place - The building itself is not fit for the purpose due to all kind of insects come inside the place even you close all the windows. The mosquito nets do not do the job as it is very tiny ones either. Beddings are very poor quality too.

• Bruehlmann (9/5): Superb - It was extraordinary. We Like it. View was fantastic Unfortuneately i was thinking to get the flat with bigger Balcony. It was not so clear by making Reservation. The entry of the strand was very dirty . They leave all garbage after Party on the Street and the entry of the beautiful beach. This is not owners Problem and Has nothing to Do with the flat.
• Alexandra (9/5): Amazing views & great vibes in Castara - Amazing views , you can watch the stingrays in the bay and every evening an beautiful sunset Lots of beautiful birds are coming to the terrace , the motmot eats from your hand Just a few steps to go down to the beach or the Boathouse Restaurant Great laid back vibe and very nice people in Castara and especially in Heavenly Bay You need no TV with that views, internet connection was very good
• Wendy (5/5): Passable - The fact the guest in the other apartment was able to get us in. First off stunning views undeniably, reasonable cleanliness with room for improvement as some areas are just not cleaned, however it was comfortable rental and well equipped although some lights and light fittings did not work. Steep steps to access the rental although not a problem for us may be a game changer for others. The sunsets and even watching the moon set one morning was just memorising. In addition, watching the Stingrays from above was great, one evening even Dolphins came into view. Awkwardly and not the fault of the property, we certainly expected some music and entertainment noise, however you could hardly hear anything from that source. However, whilst we appreciate it’s a rural village, with tourist, fishing, working etc, even the Cockerel repeatedly from around 1am can be forgiven. However, neighbours playing music for 5.30am/5.45am repeatedly using petrol strimmer’s and other power tools and spoilt our break as did constant evening burning as smoke filtered through the apartment, add the dogs barking at all hours. The result was not a single night’s sleep to the point we nearly left earlier than planned. To be fair outside the control of the owners but honest reporting and perhaps we were unlucky but it is enough to not consider a further booking. Someone to meet and greet
• Shirley (9/5): The perfect place to relax and unwind - Superb views - it would have been impossible to get better views to be honest! Comfortable and relaxing - great to be on the quieter little beach than the nearby Castara Beach Would have been great to have more basic cooking ingredients e.g. sugar, oil - and a smaller pot. Kitchen is really well set up for cooking with a superb gas oven, but it meant I had to go out and buy those basics.

• Sally (8/5): relaxing and lively rustic apoartment. shared our bed one night with gigantic grass hopper so you need to be a nature lo - view was amazing as was proximity to heavenly bay. staff very helpful. rats in the kitchen.

• Camilla (10/5): We didn’t want to leave. - This is an absolute dream of a place right above the beach. It’s comfortable, clean and with a view you cannot compete with, especially if you’re in the Sunset apartment. The feeling of being totally in nature, sleeping with windows open and hearing the sea as well as occasional rain shower was so relaxing. Castara is a lovely little town with super friendly people. It’s good to rent a car to explore the island, although we also had many days of just enjoying the beach as well as lazy mornings with the view from the apartment. We liked everything. If any issues or needs came up the managers are very helpful.
• Weinmann (8/5): Very good - Spacious clean great location - Rolling and Lavorne very helpful and welcoming. Place moves when the couple in Seascape appartment next door move about or when we went upstairs to bedroom !
