• Ellie (10/5): Perfect stay! - Amazing stay here! Location was perfect, a few minutes drive from the airport and on a road with plenty of restaurants and shops suited to every need! We had a lovely dinner at the Italian restaurant just down the street and a great night’s sleep in the comfortable and clean room. The staff were so kind and welcoming! Breakfast was delicious too!

• Adrian (9/5): I would recommend this hotel if you appreciate value for money and a high standard of service. - Excellent hotel, very good value and a great location near the airport. You find much better value hotels away from the beach areas. The rooms are spacious and kept very clean, good breakfast with a variety of items which cange every day. The restaurant is excellent, we ate there three time ( during a fve night stay ) simply because the quality was exceptional at a very reasonable price. Plenty of parking available if you have a rental car ( which I would recommend ). The staff are charming and very helpful and put themselves out for their guests. Not much......the pillows were a bit hard ( but the bed was comfortable ) and the swimming pool could be deeper, but not a real issue.

• Roquesalane (10/5): Un séjour agréable avec de bonnes prestations et un emplacement pratique. - Nous avons apprécié la localisation proche des petits commerces, le petit déjeuner inclus, la prise en charge de nos bagages ainsi que le confort de la chambre. Les couloirs sont assez longs pour accéder aux chambres et l’accès à la piscine est un peu compliqué.

• Wendy (10/5): Très bon hôtel, bien placé et personnel très accueillant - Le personnel est très sympathique et disponible. L’hôtel est moderne, propre avec différents commerces tels que 7-Eleven, kfc pizza hut et des laveries automatiques etc. Il y a une piscine et une salle de sport qui sont superbes. Le buffet du petit déjeuner est petit mais varie chaque jour et la nourriture est très bonne, vous avez également la possibilité de commander des plats du menu. Vous avez la possibilité de réserver vos excursions auprès du personnel de l’hôtel et louer un scooter pour 50 ringgit par jour. L’emplacement est top, 4min en voiture de l’aéroport, 15/20 min en scooter de pantai cenang. La chambre était très éloignée de la réception malheureusement il n’y a seulement un ascenseur et une passerelle relie les 2 bâtiments, notre chambre était complètement à l’opposé de la sortie

• Nur Syahirah (9/5): Great staff, great food, will return! - The staff members were friendly, hospitable and pleasant. Breakfast was superb! Also loved the modern look and feel of the hotel and room, especially the bathroom arrangement. Definitely not the property’s fault, but it was a shame that people were constantly hanging out within the vicinity. We were not able to enjoy the view and morning sun due to privacy concerns.

Wir fanden den Pool auf dem Dach und das Fitnessstudio (hatte erst kurz vor unserem Aufenthalt aufgemacht) toll. 7/11 und weitere Geschäfte, Essensmöglichkeiten direkt im gleichen Haus.
• Sue (1/5): Never again. - Not much. They sent a car to airport without authorization. Even so I ended up paying for both the Grab AND that car which was TWICE as much as a Grab for a 5 minute ride. The front desk bilked us for money for extra pillows (ADA)and the maids were cussing us out for asking for them. It was extremely small.

• Aapo (9/5): Great stay after a long flight - The location is really close to the airport and has a good selection of shops and restaurants downstairs. The breakfast was good and the food was even better. You could also order room service which was a nice addition. Best part of the accomodation however was the rooftop pool which had an amazing 360° view. The staff were also helpful! The location of the hotel is a bit random, close to the airport but theres not really anything else there.

They didn’t help us with the luggages even we were ladies with a baby. They just sat there and ignored while we were carrying the luggages out alone, they didn’t even open the door for us.

• carole (8/5): Nous y avons séjourné deux nuits et donc une seule journée, mais nous avons apprécié - Très bel hôtel moderne avec une très belle piscine donnant sur la verdure. En prenant un Grab, nous avons pu faire toutes les activités visite des mangroves et Sky bridge. Période de ramadan donc tout était fermé autour. C’était le seul bémol pour pouvoir aller dîner.

• Borja (10/5): Good choice to stay at the The Smith House, i would repeat it. - The hotel was just perfect. I was cheacking for cheaper hotels but they had bad reviews. So i decided to spend a bit more for The Smith House and my stay there was perfect. Nice and modern hotel, good area and chill, good breakfast buffet, and the employees at the hotel were very kind and helpful. The man at the reception was very kind.

Fussläufig Streetfoodmarkt erreichbar , Teller und Besteck im Hotel dafür erhältlich . Unbedingt Fahrzeug nötigt , da nur ein paar Geschäfte in der Umgebung sind , sonst tode Hose .

• Sue (1/5): Don’t DO IT! - Close to airport. Stayed 2 different days this week. First stay pillows were free for ADA issues. Second stay, they were going to charge for them. Dicey. Also charged CASH ONLY for storing luggage. Didn’t give us a receipt willingly. Not printed out. Handwritten. Recorded maid having a fit about giving us pillows. You could hear her down the hall. Hotels have only a few functions. Courteous staff, a bed to SLEEP in, shower to bath in and space to unpack your suitcase… and TOILET PAPER. The staff was less than stellar. Gave off a car dealership vibe. The bed was ROCK HARD! They do not even have small, wash(face) cloths to shower with and kept giving us hand towels. The duvet felt like twin size on a king bed. We kept having to unzip the suitcases, their largest room was so small. The noise outside the hotel and the thud of doors and music from the halls plus the HARD BEDS made sleeping almost like an afterthought. But the last straw was asking for toilet paper at 7:30 pm because the maid left us a half roll only and being told they were having a holiday party for the staff and we would have to wait until after that. Then they rattled the door after we were in bed putting it on the doorknob. What a circus! NO. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL. It is a comedy of errors with a good paint job. You need a map just to find the front desk!

• Claudia (10/5): - Der Pool auf dem Dach war super, wenn man mal nicht zum Strand wollte. Zimmer geräumig und alles vorhanden was man brauchte. Service und Empfang hervorragend. Rollervermietung direkt im Hotel ebenfalls top. Mit dem Roller ist man in 10 min. in Cenang Beach. Sonst ist das Hotel sehr zentral gelegen, um alle Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Nähe zu erkunden. Unter dem Hotel gibt es Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Fast Food wie KFC und Pizza Hut. Ein.Waschsalon ist direkt am Eingang um die Ecke.

• Marat (9/5): - Отель относительно новый, все чисто и аккуратно. Близко к аэропорту, минут 4-5 на такси. Достаточно хороший завтрак: выбор не сильно большой, но все было вкусно. В здании отеля есть много всего: кафе, пиццерия, аптека, 7/11. Wi-Fi быстрый, не тормозил. Просторная ванная комната. Своих денег этот отель стоит. А вот комната, где спишь, тесноватая. Два чемодана с трудом удалось разместить. Хотя имеется вытянутый коридор, можно и там разложить чемоданы, но останется узковатая дорожка для прохода. Но если останавливаетесь ненадолго, то это терпимо.

Very close to the airport. The bed was a quite dirty, specially the duvet. However, the staff solved the issue immediately, changing the bed clothes even at the evening.

• Ali (10/5): - One of the best you'll get in this location and at this price. Was literally 5 mins from the airport so was great reaching to our hotel quickly after long flights. Room + breakfast + staff was exceptional. The staff even helped us in renting a Scooty (Highly recommended while you're in Langkawi) The rooftop pool was great too and one of the highlights of this property. Overall great experience. You won't regret!

By far the best thing about the hotel - The lemonade in the lobby was always very good and cold, just perfect after returning from scorching heat - The pool was well maintained. We caught some great sunsets from it - The restaurant seems to be overlook but we ate there and had a very good experience - Good breakfast with plenty of options - Under the hotel you can find many shops, laundry and several restaurants so it's convenient - The bathroom really needs a deep cleaning - The pool sun bed pillows look really used and could be replaced - Location is indeed not great but you can get anywhere with a very cheap Grab ride

• Patrick (5/5): - Das Personal war hilfsbereit und freundlich und unterstützte sowohl bei der Autovermietung als auch beim Ausdrucken der Tickets. Wir buchten eine höherwertige Zimmerkategorie im Haupthaus in der zweiten Etage, die sich direkt über der Küche befand. Ab etwa 6:00 Uhr morgens traten regelmäßige Geräuschbeeinträchtigungen durch den Küchenbetrieb sowie durch das über Lautsprecher übertragene Gebet der gegenüberliegenden Moschee auf. Das Zimmer ist daher nur eingeschränkt für Urlaubsgäste mit erhöhtem Ruhebedarf geeignet. In der näheren Umgebung ist nur eine geringe touristische Infrastruktur vorhanden, insbesondere fehlen Bars und ansprechende Restaurants. Darüber hinaus waren die bereitgestellten Handtücher deutlich abgenutzt.

Kleine Wasserflaschen, Instant Kaffee, Tee, Wasserkocher und Kühlschrank im Zimmer. Sonntags ist ein schöner Markt in fußläufiger Nähe. (Recht teure) Läden und Restaurants im Gebäudekomplex. Quer über die Straße ist ein Stand an dem es sehr leckere (und preiswerte) Soto-Ayam und weitere Gerichte gibt. Der Flughafen ist quasi um die Ecke und man hört trotzdem wirklich nichts von den ankommenden und startenden Flugzeugen. Wenn also direkte Strandlage/ im Tourismus-Epizentrum keine Priorität besitzen, kann dieses Hotel aus Preis-Leistung-Sicht durchaus ideal sein. Ich habe mich zumindest Recht wohl gefühlt und würde wieder in diesem Hotel buchen. Das Einzel-Zimmer ist schon sehr klein. Zur Toilette kommt man nur mit einer Art seitlichem Limbo-Tanz. Die Lage ist nicht ideal, wenn Strandlage oder Bilderbuch-Aussicht ein Thema sein sollte. Das sieht man jedoch auf der Map und anhand der Bilder, bevor man bucht. Mit Scooter oder Mietwagen sollte das dann wiederum egal sein. In ca. 15min ist man mit einem Scooter am Cenang Beach. Die aus meiner Sicht schöneren Strände sind jedoch eh im Norden der Insel zu finden (oder mittlerweile durch große/ teure Resorts verdeckt privatisiert worden).

• Cynthia (8/5): - Bon rapport qualité/prix. Le petit-déjeuner était copieux. L'hôtel est récent et les chambres confortables. A noter, le restaurant propose de bons plats, à un prix accessible en soirée. Pratique puisqu'il n'y a beaucoup d'options pour dîner à proximité. L'emplacement n'est pas vraiment optimal. L'hôtel est situé à proximité de l'aéroport mais éloigné des points d'intérêt de Langkawi. Il est cependant possible de se déplacer avec des Grab sans difficultés.
