Guest Reviews
- Edyta (2/5): - My one-night stay at this hotel was the worst accomodation I've ever had. I booked through Expedia, where it was advertised as having a private bathroom, towels, toiletries, and Wi-Fi. However, the reality was far from this description. The bathroom was unusable, with a big crack across multiple tiles. The hot tap did not work in the shower or the sink. The toilet was missing parts and couldn't flush, making it effectively non-functional. Additionally, the door connecting my room to the next was damaged, with a knob that had fallen off, leaving a hole through which I could see into the other room. This door didn't close properly, leaving a 1 cm gap at the top and bottom, so I could hear my neighbours whispering.
One of the beds had unclean linen with blood stains, and the ceiling above the bed had a large stain, indicating a big leak when it rains. Thankfully, it didn't rain during my stay. There was no sign of towels and toiletries and the Wi-Fi was non-functional, despite the efforts of the receptionist, who was very nice but unable to fix the issue.
I would never recommend this property and believe it should be removed from booking platforms, or at least come with a warning that it deserves only 1 star out of 10. The area between different buildings had some slight charm with small paths surrounded by lush green plants but it was also poorly maintained and of course could not compensate the horrible condition of the room.
- Shamiso (6/5): - If you are on a budget trip, Tatenda Safaris is the best option.
- Allan (2/5): - There was no running water electricity & internet . Hotel did not have backup generators.
- SINIKIWE (2/5): A mess lve ever seen - Disaster disappointment a mess lve ever seen l actually couldn’t stay in the premises more than 20minutes mosquitoes everywhere dirty filthy they cleaned my room in my presents first impression shattered. I wanted my refund the lady was rude didnt want to give me my money back . That place is not supposed to be advertised by u guys all reviews are the worst
- Verified traveler (2/5): - This property is highly overpriced for what you get.
We went through three rooms - the first room had broken doors with actual holes through them, broken towel racks left broken and sitting on the ground, and the kicker no toilet seat.
we asked if it was normal for the room at $100 US a night to be like this.. we waited for another room that was super small and SO hot.. the bathroom had actual chunks missing out of the sink and bath... ants EVERYWHERE!!... no hot water!
We asked for hot water for them to say we could use another room to shower and go back to our room...
When we walked into a third room that was HUGE, nice tile floor... BIG bed A/C and (minimal hot water)
Why did it take three rooms to get a room that was SOME WHAT liveable?!?
We wasted $200 American on this place but it was a big festival and things were hard to get into..
DONT stay here.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Bathròom and shower unit were crammed together with no space to move around. Breakfast was served cold
- Verified traveler (2/5): - No accommodation provided. States, unable to confirm booking with orbitz and requested us $85 per room per night to be paid out of pocket. So we were forced to seek accommodation elsewhereand therefore requesting a refund from Orbitz.
- Ben (4/5): Not the best - The people were friendly, however, we needed to ask for amenities multiple times before anything was done. There were A TON of bugs in our room including roaches in the evening. The ceilings were crumbling and there was no shower curtain. Room needs updating.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Hotel près des chutes - Chambres très vétustes. Le restaurant est plutôt un réfectoire.
Petit déjeuner soit disant anglais ??????
- hans (4/5): Onverzorgde kamer - Kamer niet netjes; sober ontbijt {smakeloos)
- Shirley (8/5): Tatenda Safaris at Victoria Falls - Tatenda Safaris at Victoria Falls was pleasant. However the breakfast was definitely not up to standard and I am contacting the persons concerned about this.
