- spyridon (6/5): - super friendly staff and nice building, both inside and outside The AC wasn't working properly, even at full blast and at 18 celcius we were lying in our own pool of sweat on the bed. Can't open the windows as the shutters are on the inside (common in old houses but rather unpractical)
- Dimos Thomaidis (10/5): -
- Amanda (9/5): Superb -
- Hayata (10/5): - the stuffs are so friendly :)
- Enrico (10/5): Exceptional - The hotel has a unique charm and the staff is incredibly kind and helpful.
- Steven (9/5): Excellent location with brilliant staff and great value for money - Excellent location with great views (we had a sea view room). Traditional interior with interesting architectural features. Staff were very welcoming and attentive. The AC could have been a bit better.
- Pol (9/5): Superb - The building is an old charming burgeois house Impossible access with vehicle. But this makes it also quiet
- Mary (6/5): - The staff was kind and friendly like the staff at every other hotel in Greece; nothing remarkable. They don’t answer when you call and the wi-fi barely works so it was the least tech savvy hotel I stayed at. There were moments when no one was in the hotel except one housekeeper so it felt deserted most of the time.
The rooftop views are gorgeous but they don’t have an outdoor seating area. I went up there to take photos and the door locked me out and no one was able to help for over five minutes and no one answered the phone or email. I would not return.
- Fotini (10/5): most magical stay - everything perfect historic mansion experience with the most magical balcony overlooking all of ermoupolis located on my favourite corner directly across the magical metamorphosis church poor bed/mattress quality
- Georgios (6/5): Pleasant -
- Pascal (9/5): Good value for money and very quiet, well located - Family hotel, Good value for money and very quiet, well located. We would have prefered a buffet breakfast but not served.
- Patrick (10/5): Beautiful bright sunny and well kept - Beautiful room with lots of lovely (indirect) sunlight, so I had wonderful light without the sun glare!
Breakfast superb, great service. Friendly staff. I like everything about the Hotel.
Note that - because of the way the town is built - to access hotel does require guests to either take a taxi, Or climb 250 meters up stairs, then stair landing, then more stairs, then another stair landing, for 5 to 6 minutes straight until you reach the hotel.
However, the hotel is worth the climb!
- Henk (9/5): Superb - From the moment we arrived we were warmly welcomed by the amazing hostess, she was very friendly and very helpful, our stay was perfekt,
The location is fantastic, central and peaceful, making it easy to explore the area,
We had a beautiful room with a super comfortable bed,
The breakfast each morning was delicious, that maked us ready for the day.
The service, the location, the atmosphere
Was fantastic,
We highly recommend Omiros Hotel
😍
- Vasiliki (8/5): - Beautiful old building, allowing you to experience what an old “archontiko” would be like. Perfect location for us, but there are some steps that cannot be avoided.
Staff are simply wonderful and incredibly kind. With a few simple changes this place can become exceptional.
Our A/C unit was pretty old and was not doing a good enough job.
Room amenities could be improved. A bottle of water in the fridge for example would be very much appreciated.
- Constance (10/5): Excellent Hotel! - Very nice hotel, beautiful room with amazing views!
Very nice service! Nothing
- Allen (10/5): - Really loved our stay at Hotel Omiros. It's a very charming heritage building with an amazing view of the harbour. The staff were all wonderful and very helpful.
Pros:
1. Very close to town. A few steps and a pleasant walk.
2. Very charming building with really good interior decor.
3. Balcony was great and had an amazing view.
Some cons:
1. The mattress needs to be replaced. It's very hard and not comfortable at all. Couldn't sleep well.
2. I understand it's an old building but for you to lock the door from the inside, you have to use a key. You also need a key to unlock it from the inside. If there is a fire, you won't be able to make it out quickly. I didn't feel safe knowing that.
Overall, it was a pleasant stay.
- Panagiota (9/5): Superb -
- Thomas (8/5): Very good -
- Dababneh (9/5): Amazing - Amazing owner and staff, very helpful, I loved it , it’s like an old house with a beautiful view U better have a small bag because there is no elevator
- Christina (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ioannis (8/5): Very -
- Dina (9/5): Superb -
- Sarah (10/5): - Staff was very helpful and friendly.
- Kyle (10/5): Great, Enjoyable - Enjoyed my stay, Historic property with character, Hotel was very clean and well maintained. Hotel staff member was friendly and helpful, Breakfast was simple but was very nice , fresh fruit, fresh bread and nice yogurt
- Despina_al (10/5): Exceptional - Great location, neoclassical style, excellent host

- Brendan (9/5): Superb - Beautiful hotel
- Constantinos (10/5): Exceptional -
- Andrew (8/5): The hotel is in a perfect position, great views across the city, yet really quick to walk into the town. Our room was be - The lovely position of the hotel. Nothing
- Elina (9/5): Superb - Great location, very near ermoupoli and ano syros (many stairs). Very kind and helpful people Wi-Fi didn’t work in our room
- Andreas (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing place and the people at the reception were very kind.

- Γιωργος (8/5): Very good -
- Georgia (10/5): Super friendly and helpful stuff !! - Friendly stuff, clean, close to the main attractions
- AITOR (10/5): - So good
- Vrasida (8/5): Very good - The hotel is very nice and the people very friendly. It is an old traditional building with design details. It is like a trip in time! The building is traditional and old and although very carefully restored, there is no lift for the upper floor. It is a little pricy.
- Maria (8/5): Very good -
- Simon (10/5): LOVELY HOTEL - Staff could not be friendlier. It is a beautiful historic building to be appreciated. Very quiet area and close to all bars and restaurants Nothing really. If your room is on the upper floors you will have to walk the stairs as no lift. But reason why no lift because you would ruin that lovely old house
- Douglas (7/5): Good -
- Alexandra (9/5): an extremely nice hotel, good value for money close to the city centre - the room was very nice and clean, the staff where extremely nice and accommodating a shower would run out of hot water quickly and the breakfast was very minimal
- Joan (10/5): Experience the Best of Grand Old Ermoupoli - Stately old home converted to hotel. Wonderful feeling of spaciousness and elegance to common areas and rooms. Well cared for by staff, from reception, cleaning to breakfast service. Beautiful garden area where breakfast was served and I could store my bike safely. Be prepared for a climb to hotel, but easy to access main features of town from hotel location. Thought that breakfast hours could be more consistent.
- Stergios (6/5): Our stay was just OK! - Decent breakfast, close to the most central square of Ermoupoli (Miaouli Square). Very Friendly staff !! Bed sheets were not changed until we requested to do so. That happened at the 3rd day of our stay. Lack of basic accommodation e.g. drying loft, although that was somehow solved with a rudimentary solution. Generally, could be cleaner!!
- Argyro (9/5): Superb -
- Ioanna (8/5): Very good -
- Sara (10/5): Exceptional -
- Marantzidou (10/5): Exceptional -
- Charalampos (8/5): Very good -
- Jayson (10/5): Superb hotel & room in a beautiful port city - One of the best hotel stays I've had. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The old but impeccably maintained building and room make you feel like you're part of the history of the city. Breakfast was great. Walking distance to all interesting parts of Ermoupoli.
- Gaylyn (3/5): Poor -
- Stephanie (10/5): Cozy, convienent, quiet and central!! - This place was terrific. It is tucked away on a cascading stairwell with a view of the two Central churches on Syros and depending on your room you can see the ocean! The staff is extremely helpful and picked us up and dropped us off at the ferry port. The walk along the Romantic staircases nearby is terrific. The continental breakfast was nice. Highly recommend this place predominantly because of the location and how accommodating and kind the staff was. Price is also very good.
- Judy (8/5): Traditional - We really liked this hotel but it does need a little sorting - breakfast was terrible. It takes very little to supply fresh bread and good coffee. The rooms were large and comfortable. The pillows are bad. The whole place was charming but crumbly.
- Irene (8/5): Syros Yes, Omiros Maybe - It was great to be in Syros. Our room was on one of the higher floors. Great view but not recommended for those with knee problems. Maid service was not the greatest. Breakfast each day was exactly the same - juice, tea or coffee, two pieces of cheese, ham and bread.
- Nikolaos (6/5): ΚΑΛΟ - KAΛΗ
- Nikolai (8/5): Authentic Greek, aristocratic, excellent service - Terrific hotel experience in a beautiful little city and a most charming Aegean Sea island. Good friendly service, close to charming plaza.
