• Itaru (6/5): 料金的には割高な感じでした。 - 何時でも無料でコーヒーやジュース等が飲めた事。 部屋の掃除は断りましたが、タオル、バスタオル等は毎日交換してもらえた。 大風呂が有ったので、部屋の風呂は使わず大風呂を利用しました。 部屋のトイレで水を流す為のレバーが壊れていました。（自分で修理しました。） 駐車場が足りなくて、最終日の夜は外部の有料駐車場を利用しました。（費用は個人負担でした。）
• Janie (8/5): Good clean, comfortable accommodation with friendly, helpful staff - Pleasantly surprised we were expecting a lot less and instead really enjoyed our stay. Everything was comfortable and clean and we received a warm welcome when we arrived. It was a perfect position for us to collect our bike the next morning and start riding the Shimanami Kaido. There was a restaurant on the opposite side of the road, that served the most amazing barbecued meals.

Très bon rapport qualité / prix pour une étape. Une pancarte en anglais dans le hall pour dire que la réception est au 2F serait la bienvenue pour les étrangers. Petit déjeuner un peu trop exotique 😬 Hôtel un peu vieillissant mais bon vu le prix !

The hotel accommodations were basic, but they offered any additional services or items in the front which you could easily take with you up to your room. I appreciate this method as it reduces waste per room. The breakfast was EXCELLENT and I felt safe parking my bicycle. Would definitely stay here again if I come through Imabari. No AC, but we got a fan to fix the problem~

• Mamioni (9/5): Superb - Being from New Zealand it was a pleasure to have a Japanese style room. It was clean and very Japanese. There was complimentary coffee and drinks (certain times) in the reception area. We especially enjoyed the onset and made full use of it. The location was perfect as it was basically at the Imabari end of the Shiminari Kaido cycle way and across the road from the railway station. We were able to securely leave our bikes locked in the foyer and were also able to recharge our bike batteries overnight in our room. The hotel wasn't particularly obvious until we noticed A small sign near some steps that were a dead end. Further investigation revealed an entrance to the left. However then we took a few minutes of investigation to work out that reception was up the stairs.
• Jasmine (8/5): Great place to rest after doing Shimanami Kaido - Very close to the JR station. Was perfect for a one night stay after doing the Shimanami Kaido. Comfy room with a decent bathtub. Love the drink bar in the lobby. Wish it was open in the morning to have a coffee.

• Gregory (9/5): Great value for money and delicious breakfast. - located across the road from the JR station, we were able to drop our luggage off before check in time. The staff were helpful and friendly. Lots of nice little extras like a welcome drink, free little sweeties and hot drinks and soups you can make for yourself in the lobby. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Free massage chairs too. The breakfast buffet had lots of choices and the food was delicious. Fresh juice and coffee was great to start our day. I would stay here again. While the men had access to the public bath for long sessions , the Womens bath was small and only 2 people could access it for 30 minute sessions in the evening which had to be pre-booked by calling the front desk. (quite daunting if you speak little Japanese) . Also there needs to be English signs on the ground floor telling customers that the reception desk is on the 2nd floor.
• Matthew (9/5): It is a great place to stay and not too expensive. - The staff were very helpful. I really liked that there were bicycles available for free on a first-come, first-served basis for use by customers. They are not great bikes, but they did did the job. It is about a 10 min easy bike ride from the hotel to Imabari Castle. The hotel is also close to the train station. All in all, this was a very clean, comfortable place with a very good breakfast. I recommend it.

• Jenny (7/5): Great location for Shimanami Kaido, comfortable beds and friendly staff. - Interesting experience staying in an old-school business hotel. Clean and friendly place and the staff were super helpful sorting out our luggage transfer to Onomichi. Perfect location if you are cycling the Shimanami Kaido as it is conveniently located near the station and cycle hire place. Would recommend for someone looking for value for money and a glimpse into the past. Breakfast was poor by Japanese standards but decent by international standards.

Also very close to the train station, bike rental and restaurants. The bed was a bit uncomfortable and small for 2 people.
• Finocchiaro (8/5): A little gem in Imabari! - This hotel is a little gem; the best value for money! There is a lingering smell of cigarette smoke. That’s the only fault of this hotel.

The bed could have been more firm and supportive and the carpet was really worn in the room. Also there was no sign with an English name except on the back door stairs.

• Adam (10/5): A great value in Imabari. I slept like a baby, drank like a fish and ate like a cow. - We stayed here after biking from Monomichi on the Shimanami Kaidou. They have alcohol vending machines at the front till 22:00, really comfortable beds, and a yummy breakfast. This place was a really good deal, we would stay here again.

• Stephen (8/5): Shimanami Kaido finale, reasonably priced business hotel - we were cycling the Shimanami Kaido from Onomichi to Imabari so the location - right in front of Imabari station was a suitable endpoint. also nice was the big hot bath and welcome drink. staff were also very helpful and patient with us as we arrived at different times and some without passports. price was very reasonable, with buffet breakfast (Japanese style) Bath could’ve been a bit hotter for my tired legs. it was set at 40 degrees. but that’s just splitting hairs. the rooms we had smelt of smoke. ok, they were advertised as smoking rooms, so no surprises, but really quite strong smell.

A little bit smoky-smelling but faded after a while. Hotel was clean but definitely old.

• s,k (8/5): 立地は良い - 初めての宿泊でした！今治駅すぐ！とあって分かりましたが…隣在するホテルも沢山ありましたので、直ぐには分からず、駐車場も分からず、丁度到着した時に誰もおらずで。 フロントでは有料Pの場所を教えて頂きました。 一度チィックインし外出、再度インした時には深夜でしたので、セルフ的な物で持ってあがりたいものが無かったのが残念でした！ セルフでも部屋にお茶一つでもあると良いかなぁ！ 初めてで、色々な予定時間がギリギリでしたので使い勝手が分からなかったです。

• Verified traveler (6/5): Imabari Towels - I travelled to Imabari to check out the famous Imabari towels, this Hotel was not convenient for that although close to the statation. The Hotel was very cold, the airconditioner took all night to catch up. No Imabari towels (of quality in Hotel).

• k808a (8/5): Homey, well-situated little hotel in Imabari - This hotel may be mostly a business hotel, but it's also a very good jumping-off point for the attractions of the Shimanami Kaido, as well as being 15-20 minutes’ walk from Imabari Castle. It's located across the street from Imabari’s train station (which also has a car-rental outlet.) Free wired-only Internet, speeds consistently ~45Mbps. Room rate includes breakfast buffet, with good-quality Japanese and Western options. Well-appointed modern rooms, though without room safes and using metal keys -- to be dropped off at the front desk when you’re away from the property -- rather than key cards. Friendly staff at front desk and breakfast bar.
