- WanderlustMayhem (10/5): - Loved the view of the mountain range from our room! The room was great and along with the helpful staff. The only thing to mention was the water pressure in the shower was low. It took a while to take a shower, but other than that our whole stay was good.
- T5188OUmarkh (8/5): A good modestly-priced place to stay near the airport - I spent one night at this Hyatt-branded hotel, which I would describe as similar to Marriott's Residence Inn. I got in a 1:30 am and I was in my room minutes later. It's a short drive from the airport. The bed was comfortable and I can see this being a great place for an extended stay with a kitchenette and separate seating and dining areas. The bathroom as spacious. I was ale to make the room dark & cool. It as quiet as well. Normally, I skip hotel breakfast because they're lacking and I'm not that cheap. This one punched above it's weight, with free fruit (berries, not melon & grapes), a couple kinds of breakfast sausages, scrambled and hard-boiled eggs, pre-made breakfast sandwiches & burritos that just need to be nuked, etc. The lobby was bright and spacious.

Hyatt house was extremely clean and the staff was exceptional. Very easy check-in and the breakfast was delicious. Can’t wait to go back again which is the first I’ve said for a hotel in many years!

My room is always clean with good internet and upgraded TV channels. The bed is comfortable with a great shower and hot water. Overall, I feel safe staying at this hotel and that is most important to me.

The congeniality, professionalism, and willingness to go the extra mile by every staff member encountered from front desk to breakfast staff to housekeeping was astounding! We travel often and it is rare to have an experience where high standards are ubiquitous and consistent. Job well done, Hyatt House Anchorage!

- Adriana (7/5): - Buen ambiente, las recepcionistas de la mañana y la tarde son muy amistosas y amables. Habitaciones espaciosas, no se escucha el ruido de otras habitaciones, se descansa muy bien. Tiene transporte gratuito al aeropuerto. La recepcionista de la madrugada me gritó por que yo no sabia que la puerta para ingresar al hotel a esas horas se matiene cerrada y se debe de ingresar con la llave de la habitacion. Ella fue muy grosera y tampoco sabia que tenia un desayuno reservado para llevar al aeropuerto y cuando me lo dio, me dio un burrito y un croissant congelado.

The pool area was very clean and the gym was huge. The room was cleaned daily and it was very quiet. My favorite place to stay in Anchorage now!! Highly recommend.

- Jill (8/5): - The only negative is the proximity to the airport affected the sound quality of the room. We constantly heard planes taking off and had to sleep with Bose headsets on.

Slightly better than average breakfast buffet - I stuck to the fruit, yogurt and granola. Coffee and tea available all day. Not much to do in the area though. Lyft and Uber are easily available. Good place if you want a good airport hotel.

We stayed several nights on this trip which were separated by our travels to other areas then back again. Our first night I felt the room was very efficiently and nicely set up, however I did feel it needed a deep cleaning. There were spots on the sofa materiel and a stain on the carpet that was pretty bad. The second and third nights they upgraded us to a suite. Super nice. They allowed us early check in which was wonderful on the day I didn't feel so well and the deliver food from their bar for us. It was a very nice experience. Friendly and helpful staff. Would stay here again.

- pattycakecorner (10/5): Wonderful: Airport Shuttle, Hotel Staff, Free Breakfast, Ease of Getting to Seward - I highly recommend this Hyatt for anyone going a cruise leaving from Seward. The free breakfast was amazing, the airport shuttle was perfect for arriving and also for going back to the airport to catch the narrated bus tour to Seward. When you get to Seward, the bus drops you off right at the terminal and your luggage is transferred to the ship straight from the bus. The hotel front desk clerk recommended the narrated bus transportation to the cruise port, and it was a highlight. It is a dedicated bus that goes directly to your ship's terminal in Seward.
- 385lg (10/5): Great stay, had what I needed - Great staff, lots of options for breakfast. Plenty of parking. Room was clean and ready when I arrived early. Some things look a bit worn out, such as floors and blinds, but everything else looked great. Check in staff very friendly and offered ample assistance and answered my questions. Would definitely come back!

In addition to the cleanliness issue, the front desk service was extremely slow and unresponsive. Upon checking in, I had to wait a long time just to be acknowledged. Based on this experience, I don’t think I’ll be staying here again.

While the staff was professional, they did not clearly explain the security deposit, which is held from the account but not actually charged. It would be better if this was communicated more clearly and kindly, especially for tourists.

Breakfast is well stocked, busy, and delicious. They stored our luggage for our late flight. We rented a car for the day and drove to Denali and back. Great stay!

They had a complimentary shuttle from the airport and it was a very convenient less than 10 minute ride away, the front desk staff were also helpful and organized a cab for us to travel to the train station in the morning. Only stayed for one night but it was a pleasant experience, although it is not downtown so there is not a lot within walking distance.
- Scott (10/5): - One night stay in Anchorage after drive back from Homer and before heading out to Denali NP. We were quite tired after being up early for fishing trip in Homer. So quick check in was greatly appreciated. Also appreciated the black out shades. Bed was comfy. Only downside was our room faced mini nature preserve that is adjacent to the hotel and there are tons of sea gulls that made quite a bit of noise through the night and morning. Breakfast was okay. Overall enjoyed the stay.
- YUFEN (4/5): - The breakfast at this hotel was excellent, and the room was clean and tidy. However, the side facing the street was very noisy, with loud motorcycles and seagulls throughout the night. The hotel should consider installing double-glazed soundproof windows. We stayed at another Hyatt nearby, and it was much quieter.
- soojik216 (4/5): Excellent Breakfast but Poorly Cleaned - While the hotel is well located and the breakfast spread was excellent, I found that my room was not properly cleaned. For example, the shower drain still had hair from the previous stay, and the shower had a used soap bar as well. There were stickers on the kitchen countertop, which made me believe that it had also not been cleaned, and we found trash behind the bed. There was also a lot of crumbs along the kitchen baseboards. Thankfully, we only stayed the night, as there were no other rooms available.

Great staff, a pool, a Happy Hour bar, a small menu for dining there, great space to hang and chat with friends, best free breakfast ever which includes much more than other hotels. It is close in proximity to downtown Anchorage for tourists, short distance to the Alaska train station and to the airport. You have it all at the Hyatt House.

- nodramamamah (10/5): Great hotel for a stay in Anchorage - Hyatt House in Anchorage is Hyatt’s answer to AirBnb. The hotel is about a 10 minute drive from downtown Anchorage and has a beautiful open area behind the property that is populated by birds and the occasional moose. The rooms are suites and include a well stocked kitchen with plates, utensils, a fridge, cooktop, dishwasher and nice sized island that is also set up as a desk with outlets and an ergonomic chair. The Hyatt House has a full (included) breakfast with a lot of selections including eggs, a bar and a restaurant on site. There is a health club and an indoor pool as well. The general manager, Marlene, manages the property beautifully. The staff is very helpful and responsive, and the property is very well kept. The Hyatt House is a great stop for longer visits based in Anchorage.
