Guest Reviews
- JamesN2861 (4/5): Good food but disorganised service, poor supervision and poor attitude - Good food, but disorganised service and poor supervision
We hosted an office party at the Swiss Lenana Mount Hotel, Nairobi, on 31 October 2025 to celebrate 25 years of our firm and the 50th birthday of our longest-serving employee. The food was genuinely good, but the service fell well below expectations. Drinks took far too long to arrive, our server repeatedly forgot items and had to make multiple trips, and the team seemed unfamiliar with basic wine service—struggling to use a corkscrew, unsure how to pour, and even serving a sweet red when we had ordered a dry red. The bar also did not stock Coke Zero, which several guests requested.
What made matters worse is that we had to clear used dishes from our own tables because the servers were not doing so. When I asked a supervisor for assistance, he dismissed the request, saying it was not his station. This venue has potential, but it urgently needs better training in bar and wine service, attentive table clearing, and stronger supervisory oversight to match the quality coming out of the kitchen.
Date of visit: 31 October 2025
- 490akifa (10/5): Very good stay - It is very nice hotel to stay and staff is very cooperative, and very clean hotel
Good staff, very cooperative nice food and breakfast.
- Mustaf (8/5): - Overall the experience was good
- 391davism (8/5): Well trained staff - I’d like to give a special thanks to Charles from the engineering team at Swiss Lenana Mount Hotel for his incredible assistance. I had an issue with one of the electrical sockets in my room, and Charles was quick to respond when I reached out. He arrived promptly and was immediately able to diagnose and resolve the problem. Not only did he fix the socket, but he also ensured all the connections were secure and safe, taking extra care to make sure everything was in perfect working order.
What really impressed me was Charles' professionalism and his friendly approach. He made sure to explain what the issue was and how he fixed it, all while ensuring I was comfortable with the solution. His quick response and dedication to providing great service really enhanced my stay. If you’re ever at the hotel and need assistance with anything electrical, I’d highly recommend reaching out to Charles—he truly went above and beyond
- RUNOrestaurant (10/5): Highly recommend it! - A wonderful stay, amazing conditions: fragrant linens, a soft bed, high-pressure showers, fresh towels, delicious food, excellent coffee, beautiful views from the terrace, and wonderful service. In short, I highly recommend it!
- Thomas (10/5): - Great experience
- camannion (10/5): Great value Nairobi hotel - Lovely helpful staff, clean rooms, wide choice of foods for buffet breakfast. Enjoyed our brief stay which was excellent value for money.
- Mobile64004875540 (10/5): Excellent customer experience! - The food was great! The waiter (Simon) offered excellent customer service.
Highlights of the food was the lamb chops, greens and sauce. W
- Trevor Paul (10/5): - The surrounding area and hotel is amazing
- W7579IGeunicem (6/5): Concerning - This was my second time here, normally the place is warm with friendly staff but this time something had changed, the staff looked more sad and worried. The excitement was no longer there . One staff told me that they were scared that the Chinese boss was gonna fire them.
This is so wrong I feel as a company you should motivate your staff to do better and not demoralize and threaten them . The staff are the image of your company.
- naka345 (4/5): OK Hotel for a short Trip - I would like to start with the positive points of this hotel.
According to African standard, this hotel is quite nice. Relatively clean and spacious. Good location and quiet surroundings.
We liked the size of the deluxe rooms very much. The Standard rooms are so tiny, not even one suitcase would fit. (The standard rooms are not adviseable if you travel with suitcases.)
Shower and hot water work perfectly. There is a water boiler in the room for tea and coffee. The room and the linen smelled good and clean. Bottled water and (usually) fresh fruits are complementary.
The Spa is amazing. Especially the Swedish Massage. It's a real treat!
But.... sadly our experience was not as pleasant as hoped for. We traveled as a group of 13 people. We had booked the Hotel for one night only. We checked out and left. 3 days later we came back to Nairobi and checked in for another 4 nights stay.
We arrived at 3 p.m. but our room was not ready. We were offered a free downgrade from the payed Deluxe Room to a small Standard room.
Of course we didn't accept and had to wait till 6 p.m. for our room to be ready.
What we got was a room with broken smelly furniture, no fruit plate, no hairdryer and missing towels.
Whatever complaint there was, the desk ladies had no authority to take any decision. The standard answer was: We need to contact the manager. (Everything takes soooooooo long. At the pool I had to wait 45 minutes for a towel.)
The next 2 days furniture kept coming and going and the hairdryer was installed at the wall. It was like living on a construction site.
This was very unpleasant. Neither the Hotel crew nor the manager did anything to apologize or to make up for our inconveniences.
The treatment got even worse and more frustrating at the breakfast and dinner service. Customers are lied in their face with a smile and are being ripped off whenever possible.
First the quite expensive Breakfast. At our first breakfast we got offered Capuccino. When we came back to the Hotel the second time, we were told, Capuccino is only free the first night. We told them this was our first night, as we had checked out and now we came back. They invented silly excuses and rules why this doesn't count as "first night". The gap between stays has to be more.... maybe a year or so.
I was shocked at so little professionalism.
Is the breakfast worth its money? That's relativ. For African standard, the price is way too high. The eggs and fruits are fresh and very delicious. Everything else is not fresh. The bread and pastries are not recommendable. Dry and tasteless. Sausages, beans, potatoes, meat etc are cold and old.
The dinner service is very frustrating. Waiting time for orders of the menu are 60 to 90 minutes. Food is served cold and soggy. The burgers, when freshly made, are good. But they can be bought burger patties, depending on the chef, and they taste dreadful.
The 3rd day we ordered pizza from pizza-in. The food arrived quicker, hotter and yummier than what we were served in that hotel.
The menu offers also a choice of fresh juices. It says, they are served in 500ml glasses. But the juices are not fresh! And they are served in a 250ml glass. I insisted in 500ml fresh pressed orange juice and the waitress told me, I'm mistaken, the menu doesn't mention any of it. So I insisted in her bringing the menu again and I showed her what was written. She smiled and left. After 20 minutes she came back with a 250ml glass full of ice cubes and some orange juice poured over it.
That was unacceptable. Especially for 500 ksh.
Fazit:
It is a nice specious hotel with an amazing spa.
Sadly the team and the management try to take advantage of the clients. Foreigners are not treated as guests but as Muzungus.
"Give us your money but don't expect anything in return".
- David (10/5): - Accesable
- rlahuddin (8/5): The breakfast is amazing - My airasia flight arrived at midnight so i must find a hotel that cheap enough but also reliable to get check in at midnight. I choose this hotel because it is not far located from the airport. Room is clean. Hot water is running perfectly. Room is so quite and the security is friendly. When i visit this hotel, most people are in business attire not a tourist. Breakfast is so delicious and they also have rooftoop bar with a beautiful city view
- udo-Deppisch (2/5): First and last - Rating is minus 1
Most of the staff is nice and friendly.
The event rooms where :-( the event technic was :-(
Breakfast buffet first a small selection and than alit food was gone 30 before the buffet closed.
Rooms sometimes not cleaned or just half.
- Jafar (10/5): - I am sattisfied with every aspect of the hotel
- PatT1546 (8/5): Great location and customer service. Will return. - Positive
Pleasantly surprised. Location is excellent. Rooms are very clean, and Overall Customer service experience great. The staff go out of their way to meet your needs,
Great service from the restaurant staff, and especially from Jackline, whose great service was always with a great smile.
Negative
Placing Plastic flowers on the dining table is outdated, rather do without.
Plastic neon blue laundry basket, spoils the rooms decor, it screams cheapness
for a great hotel.
- Sandra (2/5): - I stayed here for 9 days. HORRIBLE.
First of all, the elevators smelled like feet all damn day long. Secondly, the sinks look visibly dirty. So the first day that I got here, I noticed that and brought it up to the receptionist who told me that the manager said the sinks were clean. I went back to the room and the sink was dirty still visibly dirty. I later came to realize that the sink have a dirty stain on them so no matter how much they’re cleaned, they’d still look dark and dirty.
Next problem is the bathroom. The door was broken so my husband could not get into the shower. Is this not something that should be looked at before assigning a room to a paying guest? We got moved to another room and YES, the sink was still dirty looking.
No AC so good luck if you are not from Kenya and not used to the heat. No robes, no slippers, no shower cap… basically they provide NOTHING. You will have to call reception if you need something and that to me is such an inconvenience. They do not change the bedding so this is also something you’ll have to request by placing some green placard on your bed.
Don’t get me started on the food!
I will absolutely not be returning here and I do not recommend this place at all!
- keitho76 (10/5): Excellent - Best hotel, best view, food up to standard and delicious, service team they are warm and welcoming especially the tall maxwell always happy.... Security nixon was my favorite, front office Masinde was full of comic, yvonee was ever smiling..,..
- marcellogS1967ZP (8/5): 5/5 - Comfortable stay and great service, stayed for a couple days at 7th floor everyone was welcoming, room was always clean, breakfast abundant and tasty. Great touch the rooftop with the pool, hope to come back again, assante sana Nairobi!!!
- Brou Stéphane Roger (8/5): - Good experience
- U7601KPkena (6/5): Needs some improvement overall - Fair. Structure and rooms are OK. Service wasn't exactly as 4starish as I would have expected.
I had a few issues with WiFi outage and bathroom/toilet.
Overall, I would recommend some general maintenance of some facilities.
The elevator sometimes takes forever.
- satoshi (10/5): perfect - ナイロビ出張びいつも、ほぼ毎月のように滞在していますが、とても素晴らしいホテルです。何よりレストランでの中華メニューがあり、私はegg fried riceをいつも食べています。
- Collins (8/5): - I liked the exemplary reception I was accorded. It was great.
I liked how the first cook showed me around/how to get started with serving breakfast. Other cooks just kept staring.
I was stunned in the morning to pay Kshs 2000 for breakfast yet it said it was included. What do these terms mean “breakfast included, breakfast available “?
I would give it excellent if not for the breakfast which I felt robbed of.
- Q7343IYbrendak (10/5): Swiss Lenana Mount experience - Gstone Swiss Lenana Mount Hotel has the best offer, very pocket friendly for the quality jeweleries .I would highly recommend them again and again! We got a great customer service from Shantel who was so patient with us, she helped me choose the best.
- gurneals (2/5): Terrible service horrible wait staff - Their service is totally crap I went to their roof top bar and had to wait one hour for a pizza I ordered and then the bar tender is playing pool and texting on his phone what sort of service is that and image you portray to their customers? The restaurant supervisor does not really care either. So dont support the hotel
- Betsy (8/5): Quick Place to rest - Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Fruits left as a welcome, very nice.
Beds are super comfortable.
It’s nice place but 30 minutes away From airport. Bathroom can use a better cleaning.
- Bobby (10/5): - The bar is upstairs nex to the pool. Very nice change.
- Dwight (6/5): - Stain wash sink and , bed not very comfortable
- Milana (10/5): - Great place to stay. Staff was excellent and hospitality was great.
- David (8/5): - Nice Lobby and rooms rooftop pool and bar Overall a nice place to stay a few little Oddities stopped it from being 5 star.
- wanjohi_ke (10/5): Cozy, nice city view - Exemplary service. Location is ideal, close to the city but in a quiet neighborhood. It's close to major shopping malls, entertainmeny joints and few minutes to the airport. Staff were very helpful and reachable at any time. Value for money.
- Verified traveler (10/5): A place to be - My stay was good a very serene environment. I enjoyed my stay and recommend to anyone visiting
- PJ (8/5): - It was good stay, value for money
- Iyce (6/5): Needs tlc - The hotel is very outdated and needs some work, the sink was grubby, the staff or friendly, the hotel is not 4* it’s 3 at a push. Waited 1hour 30mins for masala chips which in Nairobi is unacceptable
- jrf25 (10/5): Clean, comfortable and very welcoming - My husband and I stayed two nights in this hotel ahead of our safari. It was chosen by the tour operator but we thought it was a great choice. We enjoyed the Asian influence, especially the interesting foods at breakfast. We were able to walk to the CBD to pick up cash, snacks, and a SafariCom SIM card, but chose to take an Uber back. We also used Uber to go out to a restaurant for dinner, which was very easy. Everyone on the hotel staff was welcoming and professional toward us. We enjoyed the rooftop bar on the second night, including the pool table. Overall a great stay!
- Martin (8/5): - Fittings in bathroom could be renovated here and there
- Aden (10/5): - The only thing I have seen is inside the hotel and outside are not matching. Outside is needed to be renovated
- Ray (10/5): - Friendly staff and great hotel
- Byron (10/5): Best service - Really nice service from Yvone at the Front Desk, will be sure to come back soon
- Verified traveler (2/5): Businessman and philanthropist - The Deluxe Room that I rented had cockroaches and other bugs crawling around the room, I killed 6 and the last bug that I killed was right in front of the Porter who moved me to another room the next morning. To be charged extra money for a room because of the Hotel’s negligence was totally unacceptable. I was refused a credit and charged full price. Never again!!!
- kevinpat968 (10/5): Very clean and welcoming - I stayed two nights in the hotel; the room was comfortable and very clean, with a good view of the city. The welcome fruit bowl was appreciated too. I ate in the hotel and enjoyed the food, there is a tremendous menu with much to choose from. I can see the only issue could be that there is no air-con in the hotel, and so in the summer months, it could be an issue; for me in May, the window ventilation was fine.
- David (10/5): - I felt I could leave my things in my room and have nothing stolen . no one went in my room if I didn’t ask, the staff were very friendly and kind, the food was not bad, except you had to wait some time. The room was nice and clean. The high point is that they had very kind and amazing customer service.
- Mistahlong (6/5): OK ish hotel - Stayed in this hotel for 3 nights, has an overwhelming Chinese influence and vibe, momentarily assumed I was back in Beijing. Breakfast was nice and the staff were super attentive. The one thing that struck me as quite odd was the no air-conditioning in the bedrooms?!?... Its 2023 in a hot African city and they have no AC?!.. I was dumbfounded.
They eventually found a make ship fan, but we'll not got back for your very reason.
- MOHAMMED (10/5): - Cleanliness
- Mike (4/5): - Did not like the food on the menu. Limited visiting inf for tourists.
- Ciara (10/5): - Swiss Lenana has become my favorite property in Nairobi and the only one I’ll book now. The last time I stayed there I booked it even though my meetings were all the way in Bomas, creating at least an hour commute to them but I don’t mind it if it means staying there
The staff are so kind and attentive, they ensure I have a soft mattress when I come as it’s my preference and remember that I prefer a fan in my room and have one waiting for me when I check in. The breakfast is nice, the rice porridge is my favorite, and the team greets you with a smile first thing in the morning
But what I appreciate the most is the safety for women traveling alone. Security once brought a package up for me and when I moved out of the way for him the gentleman politely said “I cannot enter your room” and sat it at my doorstep. When I went to move it he politely requested that I close and lock the door while he was standing there (to ensure no one could enter as my door was right next to the stairwell). While perhaps the first one is to protect their staff from ever being accused of anything, I also appreciate the personal safety side of it, this is the reason I will continue to book at Swiss Lenana, even if it means I’ll have a 2 hour commute to my meetings
The value for the price is above and beyond :)
The only thing I would change is that the shower water gets hotter but that might also be intentional to reduce shower time leading to less water consumption ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
- Levis (10/5): - They are cordial respectful and remember treat returning clients as family. Clean and the free breakfast is to die for
- Glyn (4/5): - Just a bid old and shabby. Also had a problem when staying as the bar next door held a party until 4.00 so not able to sleep. I was leaving early at 5 so a bad experience. I did complain but nothing was offered to compensate
. The roof pool is a joke. Would I stay again NO!
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Room was infested with bugs. Cleaning was superficial. All items in rooms and common area are worn.
- Caihong (10/5): - It was really a good experience. I booked a deluxe room with city view. The room is spacious and bright, the view outside is mostly green. The staff members were very responsive and friendly and considerate of my needs.
- jamesbE1719CB (2/5): Do not stay here unless it’s just a bed you need for the night. - In one word —- TERRIBLE.
The worst hotel I have ever stayed. The Restaurant isn’t a restaurant it’s a hall, there is an instant smell of mould and dam smell, the food is unbelievable no taste and expensive.
The room is just ‘okay’, bed is comfortable but on my sheets I found blood stain…. Unacceptable.
Local Staff are pleasant and have the same opinion of the hotel as the customer. They try to make the hotel bearable and hospitality is not bad.
The walls are paper thin and you can hear everything including the 0500 wake up call from the room next door obviously having something to celebrate or breakfast news.
Definitely not what was expecting from a Chinese original brand to a fake Swiss, only thing that is Swiss is the word Swiss everything else very poor standard.
- Nour (10/5): - The staff was incredibly professional and cooperative. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The hotel's design was lovely. The hotel kindly provided me with a fan at request but it would have been perfect if they had ACs in the rooms.
- Mercy (6/5): - The staff was nice and helpful. The rooms are descent although some could use some maintenance. Water in the shower can be lukewarm at times. The carpet in the hallway maybe a little musty. Food is good but could use variety in fruits, water runs out sometimes and is not replaced even if you ask.If you’re a fan of cats then you’re in luck coz they are all over the dining area. The gym is a museum for old and broken equipment, there was water on the floor and nothing to clean the equipment with. The exposed pipes in the pool don’t make it appealing. Overall lighting could be better, some areas are dim.
- Yick Wing (10/5): - Staff was friendly and the room was clean. However, my room was on the quarantined floor and I was unaware and unnoticed, wish they could’ve informed me before they put on there.
- mohamedaG1150QF (10/5): This Hotel deserves to be 5 star hotel especially because of the hotel staffs. - Best service ever. Friendly staff and very welcoming.
Safe area, clean and very nice breakfast which is made for you as like it personally.
The staffs are very nice people. They do everything you would like you'd ask. ASAP!
Thanks to all staff working there from the guards to chefs to the receptionist. Especially receptionist Ann and others who are working at night.
I will book this hotel every time I'm going to be visiting Nairobi and also the hotel is very safe for your valuable staffs. there's a safe at the room but your other bigger stafs like laptobs are also safe
Thanks, Ann and Others that work mostly at night. You guys made my vacation unforgettable.
- Richard (10/5): - services
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The hotel is nice 👍 and the staffs are friendly.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - The property is abit old. The staff are very accommodating but overall facility lacks basic comfort. We were there for 7 nights and for the first three nights the power to the building went out. The on-site generator didn’t work and we showers in cold water due to the solar water heater collector rely on the power. The breakfast mainly catered to Asian clientele and not the other overall guest.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - No hot water for shower and water pressure is very low. Showers and bathroom need an upgrade.
- MutisyaJay (6/5): My Stay @ Swiss Lenana Mount - Been here twice this year and the one constant good feature is the friendly staff.
That said, everything else is a disappointment. The restaurant is pathetice and right next to the washrooms. I mean?
The bar is averagely well stocked but like many Kenyan bars, the staff do not know their alcohol well and the cocktails suck.
The rooms are clean and comfortable with good views either side you on.
It is a fairly priced establishment though, so maybe we are just expecting too much from them🤡
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The hotel was really nice except the restaurant served some pretty bland food for breakfast, lunch & dinner. The front desk staff was great & the Spa was Heaven. I had 2 1.5 hour massages from Joanna. She is consistent, Professional & friendly.
- Ahmed (10/5): - it was a very god Hotel
- Ahmed (8/5): - All are good but no A/C
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Nice clean place the receptionist went extra mile to help me with issues had roof top swimming place spa and great valinetine dinner options basically run by the Chinese so good Chinese breakfast was always available
- Raymond (10/5): 1st trip to Kenya.. - Very safe and secure environment. Great location and awesome view from the top of building. Pool area could use a lil work but the building is in very good condition. The staff is professional, and courteous. The room I chose (Kingbed) was spacious with nice bathroom. Enjoy my stay and would come again..
- Abdi (8/5): A view from my window - Excellent room , quite , had a view from my window.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - It was an amazing stay, received good service. Room was comfortable. Will go there again.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - It is ok. Near the town and near my office. I will book next time
- Esther (10/5): Feeling home - Excellent stay feel at home
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Cleanness, quite and staff are supportive. As well, proximity to other locations.
- Richard (8/5): Single Traveller - Good clean smart hotel
- Sharon (8/5): Good for 1 night before leaving Nairobi. - Comfortable room and bed, in March. No a/c at hotel so would not choose it during hot season.
Service at restaurant OK. Main menu is Chinese food which was quite good. A dirty, old paper menu has western food. Clean lobby, room, bar and patio area. Desk staff very welcoming and efficient.
- Rose (10/5): - everything was perfect...the staff were so friendly...the food was super awesome
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great facilities nice open spaces , room and staff excellent
- Pascale (4/5): - Un accueil exécrable, un restaurant inutile (aucun plat au menu, obligé de prendre un snack)
Tentative d’arnaque au paiement.
A fuir !
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Service was good and facilities (except for 9th floor Toilets were clean)
- Verified traveler (8/5): Good but noisy and unfair service charges. - # A nice place with green environment. Good services and polite staff.
# Well spacious rooms and Good food.
# But the place is very noisy and disturbing. Noise of people,
slamming
and knocking on doors, and walking all over the night.
# Power failures ( Interruptions) are frequent.
Serving the food in broken and chipped plates and cups.
# Very unfair charges for room services and extra requirement.
- Andrew (6/5): Useless restaurant staff - Good reception staff but utterly useless restaurant staff who paid zero attention to you, took an order for an order abd only said after 15mins it was off tg6e menu. So instead they offered a sandwich...10 mins later that was also off the menu. This was in a restaurant of 3 customers
- Verified traveler (10/5): - awesome worthy to go back
- Aidan (6/5): Disappointed - This is certainly not a 4 star hotel... Dirty bathroom was the start and then both my colleague and I getting ill after breakfast on the second day was the reason for this post and poor review. Photos of the hotel on the website are not a good indicatuon of the establishment but rather very cleverly taken to leave you with a better impression of the reality. Only positive is that the staff were very friendly and helpful when approached.
- Ronald Joseph (8/5): Safe place to stay - The service personnel are quite wonderful. It's a hotel that is struggling in some respects. But even though I could have chosen another place, I came back because I felt at home there. There are some things like music advertizing the hotel plays over and over in the lobby that is very annoying and it bleeds to the dining room. It drove me crazy.
- Esther (10/5): Highly recommend. - Superb service from the whole team and exemplary customer care from the reception.
- MAK (6/5): - The property needs upgrades.
The Restaurant and food is catered to the taste of the Orientals (mainly Chinese) only.
The Expatraite Mangers are rude and need to learn how to deal with customers.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Not AC, not the nicest hotel, slow server, slow staff response... serves the purpose for a nights sleep, but not going to wow you and left disappointed for a large price paid.
- MAK (2/5): - The property is designed and servied for certain group of people, Chinese, and difficult to understand the Management Group. Additionally, the noise between the rooms was annoying where you could hear the next door guest snoring as they lay next to you. However, the poorly paid local staff tried to accommodate us with difficulties from the managers.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - No AC. Long waiting times during ordering. Terrible hard bed
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very modern rooms and very clean. Hotel is very close to City centre and transport system is good.
- eli (6/5): - Amazing location close to center. The beds and pillows were not very comfy. Breakfast was ok.
- Marco (10/5): . - Excellent
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The bathroom chrome looked dull giving a sense of uncleanliness. Breakfast buffet was the most disappointing as food was always cold. We hardly enjoyed breakfast. No one got the eggs right when we ordered over-easy.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Though the service at the restaurant got spoiled by only one waitress who ignore us and we overheard the bar tender answer our quary rudely to other waiter fellow, but the rest of the service experience was good handled by others. Just that they need to learn to smile and say hi to the customer when they are not in their work area, we met this front office lady who checked us in at the restaurant and i smiled at her but she just walked by like she doesnt know us.. lol. People we saw there are not use to smile.. but it was not a problem at all. The room in the other hand is clean, bed is comfortable, sheet are fresh, bathroom is clean and good set of toiletries with hair dryer. Though the TV was not have many selection and picture wasnt that clear, we Will recomend this hotel to a friend without hesitation. It was great hotel so far as we concern.
- A (8/5): - Beds extremely hard.
Only 1 UK electricity plug outlet in the room which did not work.
Food, dinner as well as breakfast was not HOT, just warm
- Bjoern Jarle (6/5): Average - Great average hotel. Nice location.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Very unfriendly staff, breakfast extremely poor, internet so slow
- John (10/5): - One of the better hotels in Nairobi. I have also stayed in an adjacent hotle that was a similiar price but certainly wasn't as good. The location is good. Near foriegn embassies and police complex. Not a long walk to the centre of Nairobi. I did feel that Nairobi is not that friendly a tourist city. I started a trip across East Africa from there and I ceratinly found that the Swiss Lenana was a very good hotel.
- Nikolaos (8/5): I WOULD RECOMMEND - EXACTLY WHAT I EXPECTED FOR 3 NIGHTS IN NAIROBI.
- Brian (10/5): - It was very clean with friendly employees at the hotel. Will definitely go back
- pierre (8/5): Lovely stay in the heart of Nairobi - Good value, clean with friendly helpful staff. We only stayed one night on return from safari, it was a pleasant supprise being so comfortable and bring room with a view. Unfortunately we did not get an arranged early breakfast as the message did not get from reception to kitchen.
- Mahlatsi (8/5): Disappointing - Service could be improved and a bit more attention to detail. I asked for late checkout (and there was a fee) so i could sleep in. Reception annoyed me and called to remind me to check out. The breakfast... you’re better off without it.
- Marya (4/5): - No hot showers or air conditioning. Couldn’t add food, laundry to room charges. There wasn’t snacks available for purchase at hotel.
