• Mark (10/5): Highly recommend Lantana Rooms as a place to stay! - Sanja and her team were excellent. Really went above and beyond to help us and make the most from our stay. Location was fantastic. In the heart of the old city made for magical strolls around the sights by both day and evening. The social space on site was lovely, and we enjoyed evenings lounging under the stars before and after dinner.

• Angela (10/5): - Sanja, the owner, made our stay extra special. Since this hotel is in a pedestrian friendly neighborhood, the taxi cannot give you front door service. Sanja met us in the dark at the Taxi station and actually assisted us with our bags. The hotel is very quaint and in the perfect location if you're looking to stay in old town Split. You can walk to everything. Sanja gave us a map and recommended an amazing restaurant for breakfast called Ciri Biri Bella which was very close to the hotel. I would definitely stay there again.

• Kimberly (10/5): - This was a quant little boutique hotel in the heart of everything which we loved! The check in was easy and the check out was equally as great. The host had great communication with us and gave us some very good recommendations on where to eat and what to do/see. Our room was a bit small and our view was of a bar/street but we were ok with it as it got quiet around 11 so it didn’t disturb our sleep. The little court yard was cute although we didn’t use it as someone was always using it when we thought about it but that’s ok! All in all I would recommend staying here if you’re looking for a boutique hotel in the heart of everything! Dining, bars, shops all right around the corner from the hotel!

• GEORGIOS - ARIS (7/5): - Just on the margins of the historical centre, so very easy to access it. There is no parking offered but there is a private (open one) about 3 minutes walk (mind you its expensive). The room was spacious and fairly clean.

It is in the old town of Split and perfectly located next to everything and anything you may need. The team are lovely and so helpful. As a solo travel from Ireland I felt very comfortable and safe. It was super clean and tidy and you just knew attention to detail had been paid. I couldn’t stay longer

• Magdalena (10/5): True gem hidden in city of Split! :) - Amazing little gem near city center. Loved this spot. The location is hidden but close to everything. Clean, updated, accommodating. The staff is incredibly nice and accommodating as well. We arrived early and were permitted to leave our baggage on premises behind a locked gate while we waited for our room to be ready, which they were able to get for us well before check-in time. The staff was very friendly. The buiding itself is awesome. Restored, clean, cute. We spent a couple hours hanging out on the patio with friends which was an added bonus. Room and bathroom were bigger than expected and super comfy. The air conditioning was an added bonus!

Despite the central location we didn't get any noise on an evening in the room either Room was quite small but fine for a night when you have Split on your doorstep

It was within easy walking distance to all the highlights of Split: restaurants, shops, the port, and conveniently close to access transportation like Uber to leave the city center. Everyone we interacted with at the property was kind, helpful, and welcoming. If you’re planning to explore the Old Town area, this is a fantastic place to stay. While the Old Town is generally quite busy, the room itself is tucked away in a peaceful, quiet spot that made for a perfect first night in Split before boarding our boat. Highly recommended!

Wonderfully furnished modern rooms in quaint building with a quiet relaxing terrace. Efficient AC, which is key during hot summers. Very friendly staff.

Plus, lots of good restaurants and a grocery store nearby. And with its quiet outdoor seating area, it is a little oasis in Split.

• Elysia (8/5): Beautiful rooms and prime location - Location was prime, staff was incredibly kind. The amenities were gorgeous. Our air conditioning wasn’t working and unfortunately staff had gone home and couldn’t assist. Luckily it wasn’t too hot out. We arrived later with a rental car and the parking lot had filled up. No fault of staffs but better to arrive earlier.

Lanterna Rooms is located in the perfect spot with walking distance to all of the shops and restaurants around Split and not too far from the beautiful beaches!

• Sian (8/5): - Lovely little place to stay, rooms are very clean and well kept. Staff are friendly. It is located in an excellent area, can walk to pretty much everything. You can store your luggage there after you’ve checked out which is very helpful. Instructions to get to the property are clear and make it easy to find. The only issue is it can be noisy at night, there are bars and cafes right outside the window and it was very noisy the first night we stayed until very early morning. The other nights were quieter but you can still hear alot out of the window.

Cafes,restaurants and shops nearby. 5 minute walk to the Riva. Our room was super clean with a very comfortable bed. Shower in bathroom was great. The little patio area was a lovely place to sit with a coffee or glass of wine. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Nothing to dislike.

The service is impeccable, the courtyard a gem to relax and rest away from the city life and the bedroom was serene and incredibly comfortable. The room is a little larger than other places so you can move around more. The staff is kind and generous and helpful on many topics. Highly recommend!

• Rebecca (10/5): Lovely one night in Split - Quiet setting with a beautiful courtyard. Shower was good. Close to old town. Lovely owner(?) who met us from our taxi and gave us a nap and talked about things we could see/do even thought it was gone 9pm when we arrived

The room was very clean, quiet, and had all the amenities we might need. Most notably though, the staff were all extremely friendly and helpful and gave us lots of recommendations for Split and for the next city we were visiting. I would definitely stay here again if I return to Split!
