Guest Reviews
- clarecZ522EB (4/5): Don’t have high expectations and you won’t be disappointed !!! - My friend and I visited Sidi monsour on a short Monday-Friday cheap deal 2-6 March
Check in was ok our room had everything we needed towels changed daily plug socket were hanging off
The walls by the bed
The decor of
The whole hotel halls stairs and landing were in need of attention and dirty on the way to breakfast one morning cockroaches were on the floor at the bottom of the stairs
The food was absolutely dreadful hardly any choice salad was out at breakfast dinner and tea and not replenished bread the same so by tea time was rock hard a Cat was in the dining room all the time and was left to roam around !!!
Waiting staff were very unfriendly but the entertainment staff was the complete opposite and would not leave you alone which was frustrating
The pool area was lovely but not really warm enough to use although there is an indoor one which closed at 3 so
No good if you wanted a late afternoon swim there was no outdoor bar or any kind of service to get beverages outside without going through the whole hotel to get to the bar which wasn’t ideal if you had been wet
The nighttime entertainment was not that good more staff than guests
The beach is nothing like the picture on the booking and everywhere outside is full of rubbish and wild
Dogs
I understand it’s out of season it was a cheap deal and Ramadan which we wasn’t made aware of but standards should be met
So unfortunately we won’t be rerurning
- Freedom30084275252 (8/5): Very mixed. Overall ok. Not 4 star by western standards. - The main issue I had was nothing in the hotels control. If you're a light sleeper get a pool room. After 4 nights of continuous dogs barking all night and no sleep I had to change rooms. The man on reception obliged without issue. It confirmed my suspicion that as a single male traveller I was given a crap room even though I was staying 2 weeks, more than anyone else.
The food was ok. Very bland and mostly used low quality chicken wings and 'beef' which was mostly bone. They did good meat but that was more of a treat than a staple. Also gave me wind the whole time I was there.
The food labels were pretty non existent. A lady had to ask constantly if something is vegetarian to be told yes then it has meat!
I recommend the burgundy dip on the salad table, very nice and spicy.
Snacks none existent.
Beer, whisky and brandy was surprisingly decent quality. The evening bar man was very good and had good English, the day barman was rather miserable.
The facilities (tennis court, archery, boules) were dilapidated.
I didn't know there was a 'zoo' until near the end of my stay. The cages are small and empty of interesting things for the animals. They didn't seem too bothered. Still quite depressing though.
The first room had ill fitting patio doors making the noise even worse. The mattress was coming apart at the seams, the shower stopped working if you raised it above waist height ( I am 5ft 11), the TV only had half a dozen channels (no movie channel mentioned in the top tips), the beds are huge making the sheets not fit instead just lay on top, there are no locks on the doors, no plug in the sink, the tiny bottles of shampoo and shower gel are useless.
The outdoor pool was empty and took a week to fill. In hindsight that wasn't an issue as it was still too cold in February although some brave people had a quick dip
The indoor pool was good. Small but enough for me to swim at 9am mostly alone. Although there was a pile of fag butts in the corner the whole time.
The best bit for me was Sammy (the name I gave her), a friendly young cat. There are others in the hotel but the others are less friendly but can be bribed with cat food.
- R7117YEdanielo (10/5): Paradise. - Great check in asked for a pool view which I got very friendly staff always willing to help .no issues at all. For what I paid can't complain.if your do activities go through get your guide not the reps as they will rip u off
- O2640QPricharda (2/5): Brits not welcome - If you are from uk. Avoid this hotel at all costs. This hotel caters for French only. They get vip service whilst the brits get ignored.upon booking they promise snacks. Which upon arrival you discover don’t exist. Food choice is awful. Normally only choice of two meat dishes that are usually lukewarm. Restaurant staff suffer from awful attitude problems and act like they not wish to be there. Entertainment only happens when the animation team can be bothered. Watch out for the female member of the animation team Nutella who is a thief and was caught trying to lift a gentleman’s phone. Rooms are very dated as is most of hotel. With a smell of raw sewage frequently appearing in the reception area. Djerba is a lovely place but coming here could seriously prejudice you against it. You have been warned
- pauldB1261GY (10/5): Excellent hotel and a nice experience. - I have stayed in Tunisia five times now. And this is the best accommodation I have stayed in.
The receptionist Rabah on arrival was really helpful and welcoming. And professional and courteous
The Hotel has everything I need for a pleasant stay.

- narcyzp2025 (10/5): The Best Animators Ever in Hotel Sidi Mansour - Hotel Sidi Mansour looks great and is well-maintained, the rooms are clean and cleaned daily, and the food is excellent at any time of day — overall, the hotel is a big plus.
However, the most important role was played by the animators. We had a wonderful holiday made even better by the animators, who give their all!
Greetings from Zuzia and Narcyz to the best animators: Luca, Pikachu, and Rio!
- Climber63491278958 (10/5): sidi mansour - The weather was poor the entertainment was OK ramos yoza notlla louka rio absolutely bloody brilliant 👏 it's November I will definitely come back
- Aivabal8 (10/5): My honest review - We stayed at Sidi Mansour Hotel for a beach holiday in Djerba. The staff were friendly and the pools and entertainment were fun. Especially wanna say thank you to Ramos. The rooms and facilities feel outdated and cleanliness could be improved. Food was okay but quite repetitive. Good value for the price, but not a luxury stay.
- antantant11 (10/5): Perfect little winter break - Spot on for the price
Does what it says on the tin nice cheap and cheerful stay
Everything was as it should be for the price
Thank you for having us
- W8792FOrichardw (10/5): Animation team of the year 😁 - Absolutely fantastic holiday .. food lovely and the animation team are one of the best ive ever seen ... Nutella, lola, ramos and the team are absolutely non stop all day and night ensuringvyou have the best time on your holiday.
- C7677XBrobertt (10/5): Really had a great time from start to finish - The hotel was fantastic, the animation team were amazing, always willing to help with anything and very friendly, they have made the holiday a better experience,I would definitely return.
- davidtP3202GA (10/5): Wonderful sunny winter holiday. - This is a charming and very friendly hotel thanks to the wonderful and remarkable staff who go out of their way to help you in all departments but especially the reception team and the animation team who make this hotel a very special place to visit for a sunny and warm winter holiday
The hotel is kept very clean including the rooms by excellent housekeeping staff who are very friendly and considerate.
The pool area is immaculately clean and the Gardens are well kept with very friendly security guards around the site as well
The animation team as simply the best and offer a range of activities all day until midnight including entertainment and outside guest entertainers in their lovely bar areas cat friendly and clean by the excellent staff who contribute to the entertainment
The food offers something for everybody including children and is freshly cooked every day on the premises and they do an Tunisian night once a week.
All in all an excellent place for a sunny and warm winter holiday on Djerba island Island.
- julied286 (10/5): Amazing relaxing holiday 🌞🫶🏻❤️😎🏊🏻♀️☀️👙 - Such a wonderful friendly hotel with amazing staff who all worked so hard, the animation team were superb! Special thank you to Nutella, Ramos, Louis, Rio, youza & Chepo, this hotel was better than I expected, friendly receptionists, bar staff and pool staff, gardeners, as a solo traveller I felt so safe here, the security was amazing, lovely clean rooms, nice food , would definitely return ❤️🫶🏻made my holiday amazing experience
- Julie2908 (10/5): Great place for winter sun and relaxation. - Having read reviews from British people, I wasn't expecting much, but I was pleasantly surprised.
The hotel is very safe and has gates to get in and out with people staffing all entrances.
We had a lovely welcome from the reception staff. In fact all of the staff were lovely, welcoming and polite.
The main language is Arabic or French but everyone speaks English so it isn't a problem.
The pool is huge, and as it's out of season, there was a choice of sun beds. The pool is cleaned often. It is very cold though!
The food is ok. It could do with better labelling as I had no idea what some meals were. If you want a full English you will be disappointed but there are eggs, omelette, donuts, pancakes, toast, pasteries plus a huge selection of meats, cheeses and salad. For lunch and dinner, there is always a grilled meat, normally turkey plus potatoes. Salads, Tunisian stews etc. So while it isn't the best food there is always something to eat. The rooms are fine, cleaned daily with comfortable beds and a lovely balcony.
The best thing is undoubtedly the animation team. A special mention to Ramos but all the team are great. They work long shifts and always have a smile. They all speak at least 3 languages and try their best to get everyone involved in games during the day and dancing in the evening.
All in all I've had a great cheap getaway and would come back.
- claredO8417GL (10/5): Pleasant stay, great staff - We had 1 week at the hotel, all inclusive. The room was clean with a nice little sunny balcony. The staff were very pleasant and accommodating all round, particularly the animation team, specifically Ramos, Nutella, Luca, Rio and Khaola and Chepo (animation manager). There are not many holidaymakers from the UK, but this was not a problem. There are plenty of activities to do if you want to, and the evenings are fun with shows, dancing, kareoke etc
- connorbU5774JG (10/5): Great animation team - Lovely hotel, good food and the animation team are all very good and helpful, especially Ramos, Youza and Nutella . I will return. Thankyou
- Atthecastleinn (10/5): Relaxing, great games food acceptable - Amazing place, Friendly staff especially the Animation team, thankyou Nutella, Ramos, louka .Rio. youza , thankyou for a great holiday
- danielsM8661PJ (8/5): Isn't bad - Cool hotel does fine animation team gets along a few activities ,ok rooms pleasant people nice island pleasant weather
- hallanthony1977 (10/5): Excellent holiday - Absolutely fantastic holiday. Hotel was clean, rooms were sevice everyday with clean towels and bedding and all surfaces were cleaned and mopped. Food was good. Animation team were amazing so much fun and all worked really hard to entertain the few guests that were there. Will definitely return.
- Z2769LZpaulined (6/5): Don't go if you want your night sleep. - If you like to sleep at night don't go to this hotel. It is now 2.15 on a friday/saturday and music is still very loud. During the week music is loud till 23.30.
The hotel itself, the people and the food are lovely and good so if you sleep during the day it will be fine......
- J4769DKpaulah (6/5): OK for a cheap break - OK for a cheap.10 days . Stayed at this hotel with my father and partner . The rooms were clean and spacious and had also put is next door to each other. The food had a great range but had to use microwave as always cold. The bar staff during the day were amazing especially Kouba who always went out of his way to help smile on his face , polite and welcoming. The bar staff at night were rude on one occasion I got a drink when I went ro drink it the smell of bleach was unbearable this was not just mine but other people's drinks were the same . I went to reception to speak to someone about the problem and was met with a rude obnoxious man who said that there was nothing he could do and to speak to the bar staff . Not the best idea when they speak little English . The entertainment at night time was shocking bingo in the dark with tooth picks as markers .Karaoke were you could sing one song only . The entertainment was supposed to be 9.30pm but most times it was 10.30pm. Dont get me wrong the animation team were polite and pleasant but you could tell that they really couldnt be bothered. Would I stay at this hotel again no unless all the staff were like Kouba . Also dont book your trips through the guy in the hotel it's a rip off as is the shop . Just walk across the road half the price
- 886mandiem (10/5): Title: Fantastic Hotel – Made Extra Special by the Amazing Animation Team! ⭐⭐⭐⭐ - We had a lovely stay at this hotel! The place itself is great — clean, well-kept, and very comfortable. Our room was cleaned and replenished every day, which made such a difference.
The food was good, always fresh and plenty of choice, though it did tend to be quite similar each day. The daytime bar staff were fantastic — happy, friendly, and always up for a chat. The evening bar staff, however, could be a little moody at times, which was a bit of a contrast.
The biggest shout-out has to go to the animation team, especially Luka and Rio. They absolutely made our holiday! There isn’t a huge amount to do outside the hotel, but thanks to them, we were constantly entertained and never bored. Their energy, humour, and friendliness brought everyone together and made every day enjoyable.
All in all, a great holiday — made unforgettable by Luka and Rio!
Shopping Center vis a vis sehr gut.
- P2282BSharryg (4/5): A joke of a 4 star hotel - To begin with, the positives: the pool is massive and was always clean, with plenty of bins and ashtrays for smokers. The bar staff — Abdessattar, Marwen, and Hamdi — are exemplary and truly made our stay more enjoyable. They were always polite, friendly, and full of humour, even going out of their way to create a special cocktail for my 25th birthday. They’re a real credit to the hotel and honestly don’t deserve to work under such poor management.
Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. The hotel itself is in desperate need of major improvements. The rooms aren’t just worn — they’re dirty and outdated. We had stained towels, bedsheets, and curtains, and cockroaches crawling on the walls in two separate rooms. When we reported it, the reception staff showed no concern whatsoever. One of our group even had a shower curtain fall on their head, and the assistant manager just shrugged it off, saying she couldn’t do anything. No apology or care shown at all.
Even the basics were a challenge. Housekeeping had removed toilet rolls and failed to replace them, and we were made to wait over half an hour for replacements. Bathrooms had exposed electrics, which felt unsafe, and several of our group ended up with upset stomachs during the stay — hardly surprising given the poor hygiene standards throughout the hotel.
The food situation was another major issue. While there was plenty of variety, nothing was covered, leaving flies to swarm over everything. We even saw a cat eating from the pizza counter at the snack bar, and the staff member still tried to serve it to guests. Plates were often dirty, there was rarely enough cutlery, and the drinks taps were frequently broken.
As for the staff in general, aside from the brilliant bar team, many came across as uninterested or even sleezy — often making uncomfortable comments or being overly familiar with guests in ways that felt unprofessional. It created an uneasy atmosphere at times, especially for women travelling in our group who just wanted to relax without unwanted attention.
The animation team clearly put a lot of energy into their work, and while their enthusiasm was appreciated, their approach was often too full-on. It was difficult to relax when they were constantly trying to involve guests who just wanted to sit quietly. Some of their behaviour — like tickling or poking guests with straws to get their attention — might have been intended as playful but came across as intrusive. We also had an autistic guest with us, and despite explaining that loud noises were distressing, they continued banging drums nearby — even directly beside them — which was very upsetting. Some extra sensitivity and boundary training would make a big difference.
That said, not all of the animation team were like this. One member in particular stood out for all the right reasons — he was kind, respectful, and genuinely good with guests. He was never pushy and had a lovely way of getting people involved naturally. He even slow danced with some of the older ladies every evening, which was absolutely adorable to watch and showed what great entertainment could look like when done with warmth and respect.
By the end of the trip, we were counting down the days until check-out. When we asked at reception for the key to the luggage storage room, we were met with rudeness, eye-rolling, and muttered comments under their breath. That’s when we discovered there was no key at all — the storage room was permanently unlocked, meaning anyone could have accessed our belongings at any time.
All in all, this hotel is a far cry from the four-star standard it advertises (apparently awarded back in 2005, which explains a lot). If it lowered its rating and adjusted the price to match, it might be acceptable for a cheap, short stay — but right now, it needs serious management changes, staff training, and a full refurbishment before it can begin to justify its stars. Until then, I would strongly advise looking elsewhere.
- J2496LUcarolr (10/5): Fun place - Fantastic place. Animation team are great. Brilliant atmosphere. Plenty of food choices. Drinks good too. Beautiful pool, clean and spacious. Had the best time. Thank you
- B3201ZPsame (10/5): Fantastic week! - I’ve just come back from an amazing week away with my friends and honestly couldn’t have asked for better memories! The hotel itself was nice – a little dated in places, but very clean with housekeeping in the room every single day, which made such a difference. The bar staff were fantastic and always friendly, but what really made the holiday was the entertainment team. They worked tirelessly from morning till night, always smiling, full of energy, and making sure everyone had a great time. A special shout-out to Louka, Rio and Nutella who went above and beyond every day – absolute stars! We also met some brilliant people along the way, which just added to the experience. All in all, it was the most incredible week and one I’ll never forget!
- barrydixon52 (4/5): If from the UK don't go - If you are looking for a 4 star hotel do not go here because it is not be very lucky if it is 3 star the food is very nice if you are not from the UK the rooms are very basic and dirty if you speak French you definitely get better treatment they give these hotels 4 star to collect extra taxes i have been to mainland tunisia several times with no problem but will never go to djerba again and I have plenty of photos to back up complaints
- V5480JRkm (6/5): Budget holiday, great for the price, lots to do, can’t be bored - I’m currently at the hotel, I came to read reviews and have to say that a lot of the reviews are accurate but not all: and I don’t know what some people expect for such a cheap holiday. We read the review prior about small cups, thank god we did because they are tiny, we brought our own big plastic reusable cups and the bar staff were happy to fill it to the top :) just bring your own cup and this solves this issue, they will fill it with as much as you like, the vodka and gin isn’t good though, it doesn’t taste like vodka / gin, the vodka tastes like rum, and the gin is too harsh, you can pay for the branded alc but it does defeat the point of all inclusive. The food is good, there’s soooo much to choose from, different types of food available throughout the day. Breakfast finishes at 11 and lunch at 12:30 with a pizza bar opening at 3, then dinner at 7 with selections indoors and a freshly cooked meat section outside as well as pancakes and desserts etc, there is a lot to choose from in terms of food, although as a vegetarian myself and limited lables on the meals it’s hard to “try” food unless you’re willing to give anything a go. The salad is really fresh though. The animation team are incredible, it’s impossible to be bored here, I saw a review saying they wasn’t much to do around the pool which, I just can’t understand at all, there is about 5-6 pool and poolside activities each day with 1-2 big activities in the evening. The animamtion team are brilliant, they work from 8 am until 11 pm and are constantly doing something activity related. The all inclusive bar closes at 11, but you can pay for drinks until midnight, and can sit around the pool still with your own drinks until 1 am. Big shout out to “Nutella” and “Luka” I would recommend staying on the complex, especially if you’re a woman, a solo woman, or a group of younger women, you will be bombarded and it can feel intimidating, but that has nothing to do with the hotel itself. We went on a camel ride which was set up with the hotel, that was great, I would recommend NOT going to the markets, or, go with one of the animators for a small fee if you really want too. There isn’t many English tourists and the language spoken is mainly French, the wifi is good though, never an issue with it so it was easy to google translate if somebody couldn’t understand, although the animation team, reception and bar staff can speak basic English. The pool is really big, probably the biggest or one of in Djerba, the rooms are dated but not in a terrible way. The cleaning staff were so friendly and came in daily to clean with fresh towels. We paid 500 for 1 week all inclusive, I think it is worth the money, if you’re looking for something more glam in terms of hotel rooms and alcohol, then I recommend paying the £900+ to go somewhere else. For such a cheap holiday, I feel it is so worth it for the food, entertainment, pool and the weather. The weather is glorious. It’s been 31+ degrees all week, the rooms have aircon but we didn’t have a mini fridge (it did say it would on the website) and no, the room doesn’t have a kettle, but I’m happy with going straight down for breakfast and a coffee by the pool. Overall, if you’re looking for an entertained hot break without breaking the bank, I would recommend. The staff have been really helpful and there’s lots to do!
- AndyF12019 (6/5): Disappointed - definitely not a 4* , 3* at a push. whilst i found the rooms clean , well serviced and maintained as was the pool and pool area, i cant help felling the hotel lets itself down on detail. i often and to set my own table for meals and plastic beakers for nearly all drinks was really off putting especially given the small size. And being that its advertised as family friendly why was music being played loudly into the early hours? English isn't really spoken here, its almost exclusively French/Arabic which made life difficult. Food was good but poorly labelled if at all. i would go back to Djerba , just not here
- 50barriew (4/5): Hotel not 4 stars - Stayed for 10 nights , big mistake
Hotel is not 4* probably 2* at best. Hotel bedroom number 130 very poor and basic. The food is tasteless and the same every day . The bar outside , at times had big queues and only had 1 beer on draught served in little cups , they had spirits but with coke , lemonade or Fanta but again served in small cups , not good. The best part of the hotel is the pool and the animation team who do there best to keep you happy . Won't be coming again .
- TRACEX3 (6/5): Not a 4* - Definitely not a 4* hotel. Maybe a 2.5. Rooms very basic with not a lot of clothes space just one cupboard. No drawers. Plug sockets come of the walls when trying to unplug your plug. Mould under mini fridge which is not stocked at all. No bath mat so dangerously slippy. Basic shower over bath with shower curtain. Only one chair in room. Pool is good and quite warm. One pool bar with long queues but can only get one small drink in thin plastic cup unless u have beer. No kettle in room so no early morning cuppa. Pretty poor to be fair. Nothing around hotel to do apart from a coffee shop. Beach is quite a walk away. Mostly French here. Would not return.
- katiehS9351CD (4/5): Not worth the money. - Currently at the hotel now, if you want nice booze don't bother coming here, due to that we paid extra for better alcohol and they had topped a baileys bottle up with a cheap alternative then denied doing this. Also had diarrhea and vomiting and severe stomach cramping after 1 day. Hotel is ok but very dated and doesn't warrant a 4* rating. Paid for a garden view room and got something that resembles a industrial estate. On the plus side, most of the staff are wonderful and very hard working (with the exception of 1 who wouldn't give me a clean fork, even though he had some in his hand). Animation team are friendly and enthusiastic and the cleaning team pay attention to your needs ( used a folded blanket as a extra pillow and when I came back to the room they had provided 2 extra pillows).
- Moncef (10/5): Personnels supper gentils ❤️ - Magnifique Hotel
- Lasse_Ham (6/5): OK Hotel, but not 4* - We went here for a week at the end of August, and were hoping for a nice clean hotel, with a decent All Inclusive and nice amenities. What you want from a 4* hotel and from the pictures.
But this hotel is not really a 4* and do not have the amenities they claim. There is no doubt this hotel was really nice maybe 10 years ago, but now it is dated, in desperate need of some upgrades, and quite dirty all around.
The rooms are basic, beds not super comfortable, but ok.
The Pool area is really nice, definitely the best part of the hotel and plenty of sunbeds avaialble.
The Amenities are not really correct, with quite a few not there or in really bad shape.
The All Inclusive, cant fault the staff, they work hard and long hours, but a single bar for everything including water, mean a queue most of the time, and everything is served in small cups, meaning more visits needed. Really need more than one bar for sure, and the other bars were not open at all.
The Entertainment Staff certainly earn they money, and are generally great. Always something happening and super friendly.
The Buffet is ok, plenty to choose from, some nice food as well, but a lot of time it was hard to know what it was as there was no signage and the chef didnt speak english.
So all in all, we had a nice time, but the hotel did not live up to the standards we expected based on the details from the holiday company, which is always a bit disappointing.
- NorthStar49988566231 (10/5): Lots of fun - Great food, nice drinks, clean rooms, a lot of activities throughout the day, foam party, pool party, darts, bingo, mini golf etc. No chance to get bored.
- G7290XTshelleym (8/5): Lovely hotel with a few downsides -
We stayed at the hotel.for 2 weeks. We had 1 rooms that was a pool view tripple room on the ground floor. With easy access to the pool The 2nd room was a single occupancy disabled room. The rooms were clean but dated which was fine for us as only used to sleep in. The rooms are cleaned daily. Room towels were taken in morning but not returned until late aftermoon which can be a problem if you need a towel! The beds were comfortable although the pillows were lumpy. The bathroom taps and fixtures were old and rusty but work fine. Our hairdryer nozzle was attaches with masking tape. The rooms were cleaned daily and fresh towels were provided.
The single disabled room had a view of the front of the hotel. Beyond the balcony was a man hole coverr that smelt quite bad. The bathroom was very rusty. The hand rail came off whilst showering, causing a dangerous fall . This was reported to reception straight away and took 3 days of complaining until it was fixed with temporary towel rails then day 4 replaced properly.
The food was varied with lots of variety if you don't mind something exotic and different. Often the hot food was cold even when it 1st came out. The restaurant got very busy and plates, glasses and cutlery were sparse sometimes totally running out. Staff ran round taking items to wash out back for other tables and people stood around having to wait for them.to be replaced.
There was a snack bar at the pool that served pizza, chips and sandwiches on an afternoon. This was popular and had big ques at certain times of the day. There is an a la Carter restaurant in the snack bar on an evening. This was a lovely experience and the food was great. You have ro book this or get invited.
Mid afternoon by the bar they had fresh made doughnuts and pancakes for an hour.
The bar had a good selection of drinks including machine made cocktails, spirits, wine and beer. Open from 9am until 11pm. The glasses/cups are very small. And sometimes ran out I recimend to take one from home.
The pool was lovely. Always clean and tidy. Plenty of beds if your up early enough. The sun loungers had mattress so very comfy. There are parasols spotted around but they are attached to the ground so can't be moved.
The animation team work tirelessly working from 9 am until midnight. They are constantly round the pool encourage people to take part in activities. It can be a little annoying but they are friendly enough..Activities include mini golf, boules, darts. Zumba. Dancing. Football. Volleyball. Stretching, Aqua gym. Pool games. Water polo, water volleyball, Arabic language plus more. They have a mini club for kids.
Once a week they have a foam party on an afternoon and a pool party at night. Evening entertainment is varied and often run by the animation team. Mini disco every evening. Then a show or similar for example Bingo, Cabaret, snake man, tombola, Mr & Mrs competition, white parry plus others.then dancing at the end of the night.
Outside the hotel there is a fixed price shop. The hotel shop is more expensive and changes prices and barters.which i don't like. Thers is a cash machine next to the fixed price shop on the opposite side to the hotel The best way to get about is by Taxi, they are really cheap. 1 TDA per KM.
I recommend the crocadile farm which is a 10 minute walk.away and costs about 8 TDA entry this also includes.the museum. We went about 4.30pm in time for the feeding at 5pm and its a bit cooler. Other activities we booked were quad biking, Jet-Ski, starwars experience and pirate ship. We booked using the get your guide app which is cheaper than the hotel prices.
Beach is out the back of the hotel down a long track. There is a free horse and carriage every half hour but we prefer to walk as feel sorry for the animals that had no shade or water available. The beach has a bar that you can get soft drinks. We had a couple of cocktails.there but cost 45 TDA. The beach has sun loungers and water sports are available. They also have free animation activities on the beach occasionally.
Just a warning. We went into Midoun shoping one afternoon and a man came up to us saying he recognized us from the hotel. He said he was the chef and tried to take us into a shop to buy souvenirs. I spoke to a few people In the hotel and they had similar experience out and about. The shops try to sell you things at extortionate prices but they encourage you to barter. They can be very pushy and annoying. I prefer the shop opposite the hotel where it's fixed price and reasonable prices too.
- Sightseer36338249587 (8/5): Great holiday - Lovely stay with the family. Rooms basic , clean, dated but adequate for what to expect for price and area. Food very good with lots of options. Pool was always clean, warm, plenty of sun beds. Animation team was great, always encouraging you to join in activities. The night time entertainment was a little loud at times but not much else to do. Visit crocodile park (2 dinar taxi) Djerba hood ( 14 dinar taxi). Nice walk to sea, there also a ride on a horse and trailers. Be aware when going out wearing wristbands, people pretend to be workers at hotel but try and get you to buy things. Hotel is mainly a French speaking place, you can get by with English. Money exchange opposite hotel. Use shop opposite hotel, prices marked up and friendly.
- Maryywl (8/5): Pleasent budget hotel - The hotel's infrastructure is quite old (restaurant furniture, bathrooms). The food is definitely one of the hotel's biggest advantages. There's a wide selection, especially at dinner and lunch. Live cooking is offered daily during dinner on the terrace. A large selection of fish and meats. Good omelets, pancakes and yeast fritters for breakfast. We didn't have any stomach problems.
Limited drink selection – good wine, beer. Original Coke, Fanta. There is often a shortage of liqueurs. Bottled water (small and large) is available at the bar.
We had renovated rooms with a pool view. The staff – reception, waiters, animation team and cleaners – were very pleasant and helpful.
The beach is about 400 meters away. Hotel transportation (car or horse-drawn carriage) is available. Sunbeds on the beach are free, but not very clean. Beach service needs improvement (cleanliness of the road and hotel beach). The sea water is very warm, with some seaweed. A water center (extra paid) is available on the beach.
The biggest drawback of the hotel are the public bathrooms - they are cleaned too rarely and are simply dirty.
- 44sheenaw (10/5): lovely people but be careful with prices - This hotel is slightly dated but staff are friendly and welcoming. Food ok always find something to eat.
BAD POINT
I used the gift shop by the pool and being a bit naive I gave him 200 ( dinarsabout £50 ) for a few key rings and fridge magnets and that was apparently half price ! luckily realised how much it was just as I was leaving the shop so spun around and demanded a refund or I'd call the hotel manager !
- jasonjL6333XK (10/5): Thank you Nutella - Pisto - Amin! - This was my first holiday abroad with my 2 children. So I was abit worried for them 2, but the entertainers, Pisto, Nutella and Amin were brilliant all week! They were so friendly all week, nothing was an issue for them.
- B3755JBbarbarac (2/5): Nightmare - No way to take a shower before dinner, no water pressure at all, no hot water. Even at night it takes ages to rinse hair.
THE BALCONY DOOR DOESN'T CLOSE IN MULTIPLE ROOMS EVEN ON GROUND FLOOR.
Overcrowded place, no cutlery or plates after half an hour into meals.
Public toilets are disgraceful, puddles of liquids on the floor and no toilet paper in the afternoon
Also beware, at airport pick-up there's a man helping you load the luggage onto a bus and then requesting 5 euro, a lot of people pay thinking it's a bus charge, even though they already paid the transfer fee at the travel agency.
- davewW4268MO (2/5): Avoid! - IF YOU'RE AN ENGLISH FAMILY AVOID THIS HOTEL.
On arrival advised our room wasn't ready. Was told 1hr so we accepted this & went down to the bar only to go back up an hour later to be told 2 more hours tlll it was ready. Asked if we could have a pool facing balcony at this point & got told yes by the receptionist.
Came back 2hrs later to receive our key & the room as at the very back of the hotel facing a baren field 🤦 went down to ask about this & the same receptionsit didn't care at all basically saying it is what it is.
No safe or anywhere secure to store you're valuables in the room, as far as I could gather this is the same in all rooms from asking other guests during our stay.
Food
Barely any plates, forks, knives or napkins at any meal time, constantly having to ask staff to find some & that takes them ages. The food was hit & miss but that's like everywhere, it's a good job we didn't have our kids though cause the options for little ones were terrible, no chicken nuggets. Under cooked chips & sloppy pizza would of been the only warm things they'd of lived off deserts.
Staff.
Animation team were okay majority of the time but we're extremely pushy & wouldn't take no for an answer to the point it was getting to be a joke. Daytime bar staff were spot on down the pool bar nighttime was a different matter, 4 staff on at daytime only 2 at night... Queues 20+ mins long, diabolical. Also the cups they provide are an absolute joke they're absolutely tiny & you get moaned at if you ask for more than one drink after waiting all that time it's like they like to see you queue.
Entertainment is non existent majority is loud music for kids to dance too, 1 game of bingo & 1 game of tombola which was massively overpriced & I never received my prize always getting told they'd come find me all week everything else was poor.
Location
The hotel is close to some other buildings but the beach access is a 5 min walk & if you do walk be very careful as we walked down there & a pack of wild dogs were lazing about in the shade on the barren sandy track you have to walk down, my partner was quite scared as these dogs weren't small they were all near thigh height tall. The beach was shocking we stayed fr about 10 mins as the men down there were constantly trying to sell us this trip or that trip & wouldn't take no for an answer.
The weather was absolutely fantastic, couldn't knock it if only the service was te same.
The hotel has so much potentional but unfortunately it's being squandered how it's run currently. If your from the UK I would avoid this resort at all costs unless you like feeling out of place & ignored when people hear you're accent.
- Love_ez (6/5): Could be better - Upon check in, the receptionist wanted to scam us by charging tourist tax for 10 nights. The other receptionists also wanted to charge for 14 nights. We had to prove that we were only there for 7 nights. We checked in at 1am in the morning so maybe they thought we would be too tired to notice. This should have been our first red flag.
We had three rooms next to each other and two were connecting rooms on the ground floor (138,140 & 142). The files and insects were a lot when we entered the rooms. There were two very large cockroaches in room 138, not sure if it was because the rooms were on the ground floor. The rooms overlooked the garden and we couldn’t step outside in the balcony because of the bad sewage smell. This was disappointing as we were stuck in the room and couldn’t relax. The rooms are very dated but I had already lowered my expectations due to previous reviews. Lots of dirt on the bathroom walls and the fixtures and fittings were rusty. I doubt the hotel will be spending money to update their bathrooms. The towels were the worn out, some of them even had holes, however, I can’t fault that we had clean towels daily.
The two ladies at the reception during the day were not welcoming, and any questions asked was received with a reply ‘’I don’t know” in a rude manner. It was simple questions like using the phone, ironing service etc. Seems they only interact if you spoke Arabic or French. Why have reception staff that won’t treat all customers fairly and act professional.
The food at the restaurant was a hit and miss, you’ll end up eating the same food every day if you are a picky eater. The meat was always chewy, food was cold (there’s a microwave to heat up your food), and there were files everywhere. Be prepared by covering your food always. You’ll also often have to wait around for plates and cutleries. Please do check your cutleries are clean because often they were dirty.
The bar staff were friendly but the ques were always long. The pool table was situated awkwardly by the bar, and was a nuisance because of the ques.
The WiFi only works between 12am and 9am when everyone is sleeping so bear this in mind.
The hotel shop is very expensive, you are better off going to the shop across the road (1 min walk).
The only positives was that the restaurant staff were friendly (not all but the exception of Basil and a couple others). Please tip them because they work very hard and deserve it.
The animation team were great and I give them 100% for their customer service because I can see they are the forefront of the hotel. The DJ was also pleasant and played a variety of music and spoke multiple languages.
The cleaning lady Rakma was really helpful and always cleaned our rooms exceptionally daily. Even though the rooms were dated, we felt honoured that she took time to make the rooms pleasant.
Please meet with your holiday rep to get advice about booking activities. Don’t get ripped off by the hotel, overall they all like money and will over charge you. Have in mind a price you’ll like to pay before booking any excursions and ignore the photo albums they’ll use to entice you, because the pictures aren’t true to reality.
I would not return to this hotel again as the price we paid didn’t meet our expectations and you will be scammed from the minute you walk through the doors. The whole of Djerba is a tourist trap.
- trixieStaffs (10/5): Little gem - Lovely hotel many visits to Tunisia but first time to djerba.will not be the last much cheaper than mainland .yes hotel is dated but think Tunisia in general is dated but very clean which is the main thing swimming pool nice and big and clean cleaners always around cleaning area. Room clean towels old but did the job of drying you after shower.food we really enjoyed basic breakfast eggs omelette cheese ham pastry but plenty.lunch chips daily fish pizza lots of different meats lovely dinner outside cooking every night plus indoor lot of choice snax chips pizza .bar ok good beer take some plastic pint cups with you they will happily fill them vodka not good take your own from duty free staff all good from top to bottom.animation all great a big special mention for poutchi a lovely lady loads of energy and smiles you truly are one of a kind entertainment hit and miss pity no music at bar at night but would we return a big fat yes
- 488stuarto (8/5): Pleasant week away - Lovely week away, hotel is a bit dated but everything was good, always something nice to eat and the staff are very friendly! English film channels are MBC2 channel 839 and MBC MAX 840
If you want a bigger drink at the bar just buy a plastic pint glass from the shop over the road 👍
- Wouter2812 (10/5): My stay at Sidi mansour - The animation team is amazing, Pisto from the animation team is the best! They organize many activities and try to involve everyone, young and old!
- loudZ1978VJ (8/5): Good hotel for a budget price - First time in Djerba and a solo traveler. I couldn't have asked for a nicer welcome from everyone at this hotel. Reception staff, bar staff, wait staff and animation team were all wonderfully friendly, helpful and warm.
Food at the buffet was varied, and even if they didn't change it up each night you could still eat something different every day for a week. They also have show cooking and a BBQ every day. My only note would be that some foods were warm at best. The dining area could be considered dated, but nothing wrong with it.
Rooms were comfortable with daily service and towel change.
Always got a sun bed even late in the morning.
Able to stay until late evening for my late flight and still use all facilities, eat/drink.
Music is very loud round the pool, but my room didn't overlook the pool so not sure if this would bother me.
I would go back.
- asiamQ6709EA (10/5): - Amazing Hotel Experience!
The animation team was absolutely fantastic – full of energy, kindness, and humor. A special mention goes to Poutchi – such a warm and genuine person. He created an incredible atmosphere that made us feel like we had been friends for years. With him, there’s never a dull moment!
Even if you don’t speak the language, communication is not a problem – they know how to connect with everyone.
The bartenders were also super friendly, and the overall service was excellent.
Despite being busy, the waiters were always smiling and helpful. The food was delicious, with a wide variety of options – everyone will find something they enjoy.
The pool was clean, and the rooms were perfectly fine. Air conditioning and Wi-Fi worked without any issues. You’ll find everything you need here!
Thank you for making our family and friends’ vacation so memorable. 👊❤️
- 57ioannisi (2/5): STAY AWAY!Deceiving, appalling, disgusting food ONLY POOL WAS GOOD - READ THIS!!!
THIS IS THE WORST 4 STAR HOTEL IV EVER STAYED
honestly it's a 2 at a push. The pics are deceiving. The hotel staff are lovely and the animation team is amazing. The cleaners do a good enough job to keep the beds made and cleaned. Thats all the positive points of this hotel. The rooms are the most basic iv ever seen. No facilities in the room at all. Don't expect a kettle or hairdryer. Our room was missing a fridge. There is no safe in the room. They charge 3 dinar a day to keep your belongings behind reception. THERE IS NO WIFI! you can connect your device but no Internet at all all day and night. I complained daily and got no where. I am on ee and my sim did not work. I recommend buying a sim out here. The air con in the room is 30 years old. The hotel restaurant is very basic. Full of flies. No English labels. Food was worst iv ever had. Raw food most days. Fish and meat left outside in the heat to hang for 3 hours whilst cooking outside on bbq. Anything left over you get it for lunch next day. 1 point I saw raw meat sat on cooked meat! Drinks you have to wait in a queue for the bar because the pump machines are covered in wasps. First holiday iv lost weight. AVOID THE HOTEL SHOP!!! absolute rip off for everything. There is a shop 1 min walk outside the hotel where everything is cheap. The hotel shop sells illegal fake cigarettes which i will be taking further. They harass customers to looking at their junk. The pool itself was lovely, big and warm. You might have a fight with other guests over sunbeds be warned. If your British you are a minority compared to French and Polish. Hardly anyone speaks English. Avoid doing activities with the hotel rep. You will pay double for everything. It's cheap enough to get a taxi to anywhere. £1.50 to go to midoun to buy cheap clothes souvenirs ect. £5 to go to the souk. There is not much around the hotel apart from a crocodile park and museum and a cafe. Tip the staff i recommend as they really deserve it and work hard. Music playing really loud for 10 hours a day so don't expect to go sleep before midnight. They have pool parties at night everyone shouting and screaming. I was with my family 5 of us in total and all of us have the same opinion on this hotel. Stay away from this place I'm trying to help you trust me!!!
Airport around 30 mins transfer. Cheaper to get a cab tbh. Weather was incredible, pool was nice staff are great. That summarised my holiday here at sidi mansour. I rate this a 2 out of 5. Thanks for reading and stay safe if you go to djerba. Lots of scammers in the markets.
- johnhL3333HA (6/5): Is it worth a visit not so sure - Great food hotel is very basic with only one bar.the night time bar man is one of the most miserable I have ever had the pleasure to meet in 40 odd years of travel you’ll soon know who he is all other staff are pleasant animation team are good and work hard however there is no place to escape them the beach is a stroll but ok but you have to buy alcohol at the hotel beach bar which I have never encountered before towels linen etc very dated air con good the room no furnishings doors or draws shut properly it’s very poor.drinks are not great either very small glasses of beer and hard to find a spirit that’s palatable
Wine was ok ah yes another point you can’t get beer in the restaurant chefs are great I’d like to shout out to the lady on the omelette station who made our eggs every morning thanks you made our breakfast
The golf is covered in debris and the french bowls is really hot if you do these take at least two waters As an over view staff great except for night barman place is shoddy would we return Tunisia yes but sidi mansour it’s a no but met some fantastic peoplewe will stay contact with so thanks sidi mansour for a nice time
- LynneL106 (4/5): Not good - No won't return pictures are deceiving
Very outdated
Everything is closed in hotel, towels are really grubby if you get them back or toilet roll or sheets !!!
Beach looks great from an angle after 10 min walk down a filthy dirt track too a shack bar with coke and a sun lounger the stray dogs the highlight of the beach !!
Animation team if you like the hassle and loud music from 9.30am no let up until 11pm
Now you think you might get quiet time, don't be silly drunks in the pool screaming, shouting at 2am
Love Tunisia but not here
Do not recommend
- 280patrykl (10/5): I had one of the best holidays here so far. - animators entertain all day long - food is varied and delicious - photogra - one of the best hotels for families and couples. various delicious food and the best animators on jerba I highly recommend
- xxstaceyleexx (10/5): Amazing week in Tunisia. Can’t wait to come back 🤩 - We had an amazing week at this hotel and would absolutely return! The food was always fresh with loads of choice – grilled tuna steaks, outdoor BBQs, and we even booked a night at the lovely little Italian restaurant by the pool (no queueing and well worth it!).
The entertainment team truly made the holiday – Emma, Willy, and Nutella – you were fantastic! So much energy, fun and friendliness every single day. The hotel genuinely wouldn’t have been the same without you!
We made so many friends during our stay. There were plenty of English guests as well as lovely people from all over the world. We even met some local Tunisians enjoying a weekend break – the atmosphere was so welcoming and friendly.
Our room had a beautiful pool view, and the whole pool area was spotless and well maintained. Yes, the bathrooms are a bit dated, but everything was clean and comfortable throughout our stay.
As long as you’re not expecting five-star luxury, you won’t be disappointed. This hotel offers great value, a brilliant vibe, and the kind of memories you want from a holiday. Already looking forward to coming back! 🌞💛🌴
- lynnel2022 (6/5): More like club 18 30 holiday - HONEST REVIEW
This hotel is not a 4 star at all
Hotel area
There is nothing around the hotel at all 5 dinah to midoun
Place looks very run down
Rooms
Spacious with air con but very loud at night so no sleep
Beds are rock hard and very uncomfortable
Food
Not bad abad, alwaysthing to eat
Animation team
Work hard so you can enjoy your stay
Only 1 bar which is open from 0900 til 2300 after thus you have to pay
Beach
This is a joke 15 minute walk and there is a bar no food
- garymK7551PF (8/5): Excellent hotel great value for money - We have just stayed at this hotel a family of six. We had three rooms between us.Rooms where always clean just a little dated. The food was excellent a different theame every night and lots of choice, staff very friendly and accommodating. The animation team made the holiday they where fun and friendly . They have different theme nights and no day is the same. Loved the pool party such a fun night. I would recommend this hotel. The pool is always very clean and around the pool there are plenty of sunbeds. The beach is very nice water clean and shallow to swim in, there are lots of beach sports activities to do if you fancy it .
- Kezviz (6/5): 4* rating given in 2005!! - Rooms cleaned daily and towels replaced, dated but comfortable.
Animation team all amazing and polite, all work extremely hard and not pushy if you dont want to join in.
Bar staff always pleasant and knew your order within the first day.
Evening entertainment ridiculously loud but ends around 11.30pm.
Pool lovely and clean set in well cared for beautiful garden.
Food...not my cup of tea so made sure i always had a good brealfast, always loads of flies which i accept cant be helped but could be managed better with covers or zappers. Bbq food of some description every night,
Day trips booked on site not overly expensive but also not great, paid £60 for 2 to do a 1.5hr buggy or quad trip to the blue lagoon (it was a stunning 10min visit haha) the rest of the trip was mainly off road driving through scruffy rough areas and a 20min visit to a cafe!! The crocodile park is a 20mins walk away and really well worth a visit for approx £8 per person, set in beautiful grounds and possibly the cleanest place in Djerba!! The streets of the painted town in Djerbahoood could be amazing if more care was given to the cleanliness of the area, such a letdown as it should be an amazing little trip out.
I believe Brits have only been able to travel to Djerba since Nov 2024 after a ten year hiatus, this does sometimes create a language barrier, most people seemed to be French..we got by..
Beach was ok and the sea stunning (a 5mins walk through the hotel amd across a road) but no sunbeds or place to get a cold drink when i went..
All in all it was a very cheap nice break with lovely weather and nice people but i wouldnt return. (cost approx £1600 for 2 weeks all inc for 2 people) there is hotel/holiday tax which worked out at approx £63 for 2 people for 2 weeks..
- hannasC4028QW (10/5): Animator team! ❤️ - I’ve never had so much fun on vacation! The animation team is what makes this place amazing ❤️ I’ve honestly never met such a great group! You definitely won’t be bored at this hotel – there are always games and activities around the pool, dance lessons, yoga, stretching, and zumba.
In the evenings there’s a mini disco for kids, followed by animation shows or fun competitions, and then a disco until midnight (the DJ will even play your songs if you ask 🤣).
This is definitely not the place for someone looking for peace and quiet – there’s always something going on. For me, that’s a big plus!
A huge bonus is the big swimming pool. The rooms are fairly clean, though the bathrooms have seen better days. The hotel isn’t very high standard, but the animation team totally makes up for it.
The beach is a short walk away (3–5 minutes), but you can also take a free horse-drawn carriage ride there. Just a heads-up: the towels from the hotel (with deposit) are small, so I’d recommend bringing your own for the beach and pool.
There are some seaweeds on the beach, but it’s manageable – the water is beautiful!
There’s also a crocodile park nearby — I recommend going by taxi on your own, it’s much cheaper that way.
The hotel has a great location – there’s a shop right across the street with very low prices and no need to bargain. It’s also not far from the town.
If you’re looking for a budget-friendly vacation without luxury, I definitely recommend this place!
- R6449CVmichelleh (8/5): Fab place to stay, if a little dated. - Just come back from an all inclusive week here. On arrival, reception staff were welcoming and got us checked in quickly. The rooms are a little dated but clean and it's only somewhere to lay your head. The beds were a tad hard but some people might prefer that. The evening entertainment is noisy, especially if you want to go to bed early, however, after a day by the pool, I had no trouble sleeping, despite the noise.
The hotel is very clean, and the bar staff are constantly clearing tables and empty glasses after meals and from around the poolside.
The food is varied and lots of choice but can get repetitive, they have a good outside BBQ and lots of fresh fruit.
The entertainment team made this holiday. They don't stop and work incredibly hard. They are always smiling and greeting everyone and don't push activities on you if you say no. They are always encouraging and keep you informed on the day and evening events. This team deserves praise for their enthusiasm.
The guy in the shop is a little pushy, even when we bought a few things, he always pushes for more when you walked by.
- robertsJ6567NA (10/5): Best holiday - The Best animatoons and the Best People to animatipns on the world
the good hotel and good eat and the Best drink and we love Tunezja
- OurClair (8/5): Don't judge a book by its cover. - Dated hotel but trying their best to restore to its former glory. The bathrooms are dated showers leaking needed new towel rails and shower curtain and curtain rail. No idea how we developed a puddle in the bathroom door but we did. Room 122.
Bath towels were always replaced and not the best but not hand towels and never had a bath mat so floor was very slippy.
Great wardrobe space but only 5 hangers.
Fab air con. Decent beds, lumpy pillows, furniture dated and marked with paint splashes. Beds made and changed regularly. Fridge rusty and old but kept water cold. No kettle so if you like a brew take your own.
No patio furniture at all so couldn't use the terrace apart from drying washing.
The pool is brilliant. If you struggle for a bed speak to the lifeguard he will shift the towel of absentees.
The beach is OK but there's too much traffic for my liking. The parachutes are in the way of your sand burning sprint to the sea. The first week we could use the cabanas the 2nd week we were told there was a charge. Beach staff were happy to lounge around in them. Lifeguards security and sunbed guy were happy lounging all day.
The food is great for anyone. Even me and I have the pallete of a toddler. The dining room has a great selection. Breakfast is brilliant. Loads to choose from. The bread selection is 2nd to none.
Lunchtime has lots of different dishes great dishes to choose from.
There's the snack bar for lots of pizza and sandwiches. Chips are available but sometimes it feels like you're asking for too much and they don't want to give you any.
The evening meal is another experience there's all kinds of dishes indoors and bbq outside just a different experience.
The drinks are small and not very good. The daytime bar staff are better than the evening staff. They make small strong drinks including coffee. They'd rather have 6 people queuing than 1 person bringing 6 drinks. Diet or zero drinks aren't always available. We took bigger cups for coffee but couldn't get more milk no matter how hard we tried.
The animation team are fantastic and will try everything to include everyone. From pool games beach Aqua fit or the evening entertainment they never stop absolutely brilliant.
There is a massive difference in the way different nationalities are treated but not by the waiting staff in the restaurant or the animation team. Bar staff and snack bar staff do treat you differently. The maintenance team and cleaning staff are so hard working.
- MEHDI (2/5): - A fuir
Merci Djerba
- saffiah1 (10/5): No listing of allergens - Hotel nice animation team was amazing
My only gripe was the food been served was not labelled in English but was in a few outher languages so didnt really know what u were eating I did talk to the manager about this
Second I am one of many people who is a epipen user who suffer from severe allergies mine been nuts
There was no allergens listed on any food
And food containing nuts were all on the same plates as the ones free from nuts plus same utensils were used
I did talk to manager and outher staff about this but they had no conception of the dangers of this
I rang a family member who speaks English and Arabic to talk to the manager to make them aware of the severity of this.
So for me it was a issue as had to keep inspecting the food I ate
Outher than that had a good holiday

- Compass54445252593 (8/5): Hotel Sidi Mansour Amazing - I booked this trip to celebrate what would have been my daughters 21st bday on Friday. I'm midway through my holiday and I am absolutely loving it.
I've been made to feel so welcome. The animation team are second to none and I love them all. They dance talk and always make me smile. They work long days and are always smiling. Nothing is too much trouble.
I will be coming back!!!!

They are a good team, especially the hotel, it is wonderful, and the staff at the reception are wonderful, and everything is wonderful, and the pool is okay and active for young children, and everything here is wonderful, and this makes me happy, and I will come back one day, God willing. Thank you very much, my friends.
- 560cliffk (10/5): It's a very nice hotel especially the animation they are very good and the restaurant is very good everything is good bu - Chris Abdul night mares but fantastic guys made us so welcome just hope they leave me alone lol great people It's a very nice hotel especially the animation they are very good and the restaurant is very good everything is good but not bad and I will come back again and my wife and it was a really incredible holiday thank you all and special thanks to my friend
- T8406MEk (10/5): Magical - I went with my mum and we had a fantastic time. The food was absolutely delicious, authentic and fresh. I would have preferred to have a bigger selection, but there was nothing I didn't like.
The rooms are spacious and airy, very clean, although the bed was uncomfortable - this was easily fixed for me when I asked housekeeping for an extra blanket to put under my sheet. All the staff were kind and helpful.
Location-wise, it's a short walk to a beautiful beach, there aren't many shops around but a short taxi ride fixes this. I highly recommend going for the morning walk with one of the animators, as they showed me a different place each time.
I was never short of something to do, whether exploring some of the island or partaking in the endless activities provided by the animation team. I played boules and mini golf, went walking, aqua gym, shuffleboard and more. The indoor pool needs some love, but the big outdoor pool is awesome. Every night, there was different entertainment on, and it was so much fun. The animation team worked tirelessly and are a beautiful team, they made our visit very special. Thank you all so much.
I could go on and on but in conclusion, the hotel itself could do with some tlc but this was so forgettable considering we weren't there much and how lovely the staff and particularly the animation team are. I would definitely stay here again.
- Kevin (8/5): Djerba, Tunisia is an absolute SH-IT HO-LE! - The Hotel & staff are well worth the money. All inclusive, breakfast, lunch & evening meal & alcoholic beverages for just £35 a night.
The problem is not the hotel, the problem is Djerba, it’s an absolute pile of FAECES! (Sh-it Ho-le!
Nothing to do, it’s dirty with litter everywhere. Beach is dirty & full of seaweed!
Everybody in all the hotels which there are many stay inside them & rarely go out because there is nothing to do!
Tunisia is country number 74 that I have been to. I have never found one that I didn’t like & wished I was back at home until I visited Tunisia!
Don’t ever bother wasting your money coming to Djerba, Tunisia, it’s cheap for a reason & the reason is it’s an absolute pile of FAECES! (SH-IT HO-LE!
- Verified traveler (10/5): Loved it - Really nice place with friendly staff and guests.
- William (4/5): Poor. Avoid. - Having been a hotel manager this hotel was a major disappointment it purports to be a 4 star resort and certainly from the outside it looks the part (well done to the outside maintenance team - the pool and outside areas were spotless), the reception area was also very well kept. The accommodation wings of the hotel are quite dingy and very down at heel and in need of a major review and revamp. The room we were in also dated and whilst clean it wasn't exactly spotless. We were 1/2 board and the meals were very mediocre. If you are a vegetarian, suggest you give this hotel a wide berth as very few vegetarian dishes other than salads or cooked rice/potatoes/courgettes - everything else had meat and signage for what the dishes actually were was very poor. For a 4 star hotel catering for an international clientele there were no signs whatsoever for any allergy information which is very bad. The facilities show wi-fi but NO WiFi available in the room and we were told that tholny WiFi available was in the reception area, dining area and bar. On check out the hotel tried to charge us for laundry but we had not had any laundry done - this took a time to sort out but no apology given for the hotels mistake about this. On general housekeeping towels were removed when used but not always replaced which was annoying also soaps and shampoo not replaced at all during our stay. All in all generally poor and more like 2 star rather than 4.
- Marc (6/5): - A 3 star hotel. Competitive price. Needs a refurbishment. No so good meal, altough high variety. Not bad, not good. Staff tired and not so motivated, altough not rude. An option just to sleep and if you don't expect to eat above the average. Better options in the zone, it is worth to pay a little bit more.
- Amira (6/5): Average-Nice - Not bad, a nice hotel but too noisy. Food is okay but the staff are awesome
- daho (4/5): - La cuisine est différente !!! Que celle présentée dans les vidéos publicitaires. ?
- Ahmed (6/5): - I recently spent three nights. The facilities, while showing signs of age, offer good value for money. The food was average. However, the standout feature was the staff who made the stay great with their hospitality. During my visit, there were ongoing upgrades, and it's worth noting that it was not the peak season. Overall, a budget-friendly option with vintage charm and a promise of improvement.
