Guest Reviews
- Sven (10/5): Absolut Perfekt - das Essen , die Getränken und die Atmosphäre mit Kaminfeuer!
- McKerrell (10/5): New Orleans meet Karro-glamour - Such a wonderfully vibey guest house, it is like New Orleans meets Karoo-glamour. The decor was stunning, the welcome warm and attentive from the managers and the room lovely. We also visited the hotel in the dorpie and had a drink there. I highly recommend it.
Our meals there were fabulous, I was so pleased we stayed there. The bathroom door in our room should ideally be a barn door or a slider as it opens inwards into the room and is a bit of an inconvenience, but this is really the only improvement I'd suggest.
- johannes (9/5): - The dinner and breakfast were really very good! The room was as advertised, and we enjoyed our stay. Nothing to complain about.
- Eloise (10/5): Carina was a wonderful host. The rooms were spotless, beautifully furnished and comfortable. The food was excellent. 10& - Safe, clean and conveniently located off the N1
- Tshegofatso (9/5): A perfect place to rest - Very comfortable and cozy place to rest at. The food and service received was absolutely amazing None

- Marlene (8/5): -
- Anita (8/5): Safe and convenient overnight stay between Cape Town & JHB - Very comfortable bed. Wifi iffy, mushrooms growing out of the washbasin pipes, toilet paper holder just hooked onto the clip, fridge not on, space between bathroom door and bed awkward.
- Danny (1/5): We hardly slept and my wife being Asmatic had to use her ventilator about 4/5 times as she is asmatic - Nothing At first the lady gave us room that was infested with bugs and mosquitoes. The room was absolutely substandard as it looked like it had water seepage issues. The main door we had to force to close due to rain damage.
She eventually moved us to another room and that was much better but the shower was continuously making a noise with water falling.
- Mathew (9/5): Great and will return! - Not far from the highway and about midway from Cape Town to Johannesburg, it exemplifies the Karoo and its typical homes! Nothing not to like. It is in good hands and efficient supervision!
- Wim (8/5): - Friendly staff, confortable room & great dinner Close to church; bell tolls every hour & 15 minutes
- Adrian (10/5): -
- Mareli (9/5): Attention to detail, wonderful staff - Beautifully styled interior spaces. Attention to detail. Nothing
- Angela (8/5): -
- Amanda (8/5): Pleasant stay but check where to enter, not same as address on your website. - We ate supper on the property. Was definitely “moreish”! Cozy room and dining room. The entrance was locked, rained at the time, however a message was sent that I did not see to indicate to go to a street behind. So little confusing. But food made up for that!
- Hayley (9/5): Chef Roxane cooked us the most delicious lamb chops! We will be back ! - Carina was so welcoming after a long day of driving. The home is a little oasis in the village.

- Philip (9/5): Very well located, comfortable rooms. The dining experience was excellent with attentive and First Class service. -
- Ann (8/5): The guest house was a pleasant surprise. - The property had a beautiful garden and pond seating area. The dinner was carefully prepared and delicious. The property was set quite far into the town which is quite desolate and intimidating. It took some time for the gate to be opened as there is no intercom. We felt quite vulnerable waiting out in the quiet street.
