We enjoyed our breakfast delivered every morning to our villa and it was always tasty. All staffs were really nice, very friendly and attentive to make sure that we had a lovely stay. We love the tranquility of the locations outside of ubud center whilst they do provide a shuttle service to the town and returned. Definitely would be back to stay next year :) Nothing

• Moore (10/5): A beautiful location, gorgeous and kind staff, a great family location to unwind and soak up the generous hospitality of - This was a stunning retreat. The staff were so accommodating and genuinely lovely. It felt completely private and secluded, surrounded by greenery and water. The layout was stunning and connected with nature all around.

Piscine un peu froide, navette pour le centre-ville gratuite qu à certaines conditions horaires et SURTOUT sur plan deux adresses sont notées( pas le seul hôtel d’ailleurs ceux de nos amis aussi). On pensait être à côté d’eux et proche du centre ) et non plus d’1km de distance… à pied sur ces routes et cette chaleur ce n’est pas rien!!

Love the fruits during breakfast. The service was amazing. Starting from everyone at reception to the housekeepers. They are really good kind people. I love how they were willing to go the extra mile Only that they didn’t have a restaurant onsite where one can sit, they only do room service. The spa should have more treatments like facials.

They do offer a shuttle into town (10mins away) but on pre-determined schedules which timing wasn't great for us with young kids - but option for pick up or taxi is available for a cost. No restaurant on site so food options and quality limited but still fine - couple of nice places to eat near by too
• Anil Chowdary Kantamani (9/5): Great stay at Sativa, Ubud - We have taken 3 villas. One with 4 bed room and other with 2 bed rooms. The pools of 2 bed room villas are well maintained. The pool in the 4 bed room villa needs better maintenance. The room are well decorated and maintained. Especially the bathrooms are built very artistically. The villa location is not very far from the town. As we travelled by hicar, we do not have to worry about the location proximity to town etc. The breakfast is average. Not many options, will do for morning filling. The location is accessible for delivery by Grab. Hence we ordered food for evenings, which worked well too. The staff is very prompt and courteous. They arranged vehicles for all days and the drivers too were very prompt. The staff are very strict with certain things like taking signature of the receipts the moment we come out of the car. Its not a good thing that you a bill the moment a tired guest comes into the villa after a long day of travel. You can keep the bill there and just inform to sign later. Also counting each and every item (plate, towel etc) makes the experience more restricted. No one takes the plates or towels for personal use from the resort. In this business, its important to not give such experience to the guests.

• michelle (10/5): Fantastic service throughout our stay. - Firstly a massive shout out to the Manager Nuyman and his fabulous staff. Everyone was super friendly, attentive, chatty and always had a welcoming smile. The private traditional style Balinese villa are kept spotlessly clean with a delicious complimentary breakfast served in your villa. You can also have the luxury of having lunch and dinner served to your villa, which we did a few times. Food was of a good standard and a decent variety to choose from. Club sandwich, chicken salad and mie goreng were a favourite of ours. The mattress, pillows and bedding are 5 star quality. They provide the required toiletries and a bonus; a proper hairdryer! We’d informed the hotel that we were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary. We arrived to our villa and found towel art on the bed, a pretty bunch of flowers and a rose petal bath! On our anniversary day, we opted to stay in the villa for their romantic package. Couples Bali massages in the comfort of your own room followed by a delicious meal, candles and flower arrangements in the pool. We can honestly say that the service we received was impeccable throughout our stay. If you plan to spend a lot of time at your villa during the day perhaps don’t book before Nov 2025 as construction work next door till then causing noise. If you plan to be out most of the day it won’t impact you.

Il y a des travaux dès 8h du matin incluant le dimanche dans la villa en construction. Cela est très désagréable de se faire réveiller par le bruit des travaux et qui ne s’arrête pas de toute la journée. De plus, les travailleurs ont un visuel sur l’ensemble du jardin de la villa. Il n’y a pas d’intimité possible. Le personnel s’est excusé pour les travaux mais cela ne nous a tout de même pas permis de nous relaxer.

• René (9/5): Prima en fijne plek om te verblijven met haal en brengservice naar Ubud centrum - Fijne lieve mensen die je ontvangen en behulpzaam zijn om alles voor je te regelen incl een persoonlijke dagreis naar onze volgende locatie op Bali. Een duik in het zwembad is ook heel fijn evenals de massage daarna op het eigen terras. De geur bij aankomst maar dat wende ook snel, daarna roken we het niet meer.

• Melissa (5/5): Ok stay but could have been better - Spacious for family of 7 Dining chairs & couch were dirty. Kitchen cupboard under sink had previously had a leak, had yucky damp smell. Breakfast was VERY average. One piece of bacon come with American Breakfast.. Had a discussion with staff over mini bar. We were charged for items that we didn’t use. Brought our own supplies in. Unfortunately there was no manager onsite. This was done over phone with staff member & manager. I ended up paying for pringles & water. Was disappointed it ended like this, especially when the cost was only $6 & room was $1000 per night. Swimming pool had lots of sharp tiles. Our kids got slices over feet & hands (doing handstands).

The courtesy bus into town was great, its not that far from the centre but enough to get away from the crowded streets and very tranquil, loved watching the squirels run around the neighbouring trees of a morning and a fully relaxing holiday the Villa was huge and the kids loved having breakfast and being able to jump in their own private pool. It was also good as a convenience store was a few doors down. Definitely will recommend and return in the future. Nothing, Everything was great.

The Staff at the hotel were very attentive and very pleasant , special mention of Budi and Nyoman (i hope i got that right) Breakfast was excellent (served to the villa every morning). They had shuttle services to ubud palace and arranged pickup too , back to the hotel and had lots of recommendations on what was available to visit and see

• Jasmine (10/5): Relaxing and accomodating stay. Can’t wait to come back! - The villa was gorgeous, very clean, relaxing, quiet and fit all of our needs. The service and the staff were incredible! They honestly went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, organised our transport, trip to the zoo and we’re so attentive to my 1-year-old son. The room service food that we ordered was always of a high standard, flavoursome and very affordable. The wifi was also great, very quick. We also had lots of geckos around the villa which were super cute, they help with the mosquitos. There were lots of mosquitos due to the location. The villa provided spray and body insect repellent and provide mosquito coils for the villa but I would definitely recommend taking the best stuff you can find - they’re relentless.

The daily breakfast served in our room and the menu was amazing. Our Villa was very private, our pool and our day bed exceptional even the rain did not disturb us. Ubud centre was close and the restaurants and bars close by.
• Lauren (7/5): Lovely stay apart from phone being stolen - We liked the layout of the villa and the quietness of the location There was a lot of construction going on next door to us in the garden villa and the construction workers could see right in and were looking while we were swimming. The manager was lovely and apologetic and moved us to another larger villa with more privacy however there was still construction going on all day which was very loud. Unfortunately on the last day of the trip my iPhone was stolen from the villa as someone had come in and taken it from the pool gazebo while I had gone inside to shower. The staff tried to help as much as they could but we didn’t have a good phone connection to see where it accurately was taken to when tracking its location on another phone. I would recommend keeping important items with you at all times
• Duncan (10/5): Brilliant. Great villa with exceptional staff. - The rooms were really comfortable with great beds. Great pool and gardens with a real tropical feel. Too far to walk into town but there were free shuttles from the villas which made up for it.

• Anonymous (5/5): Passable - We spent the most unforgettable three days in Sativa Villa. We were welcomed with the iced welcome drink and we ate the cooked cup noodles using the water provided by the villa for dinner. On the same night, I had severe diarrhae and explosive vomitting from the night throughout the next day. My friends had the same symptoms on the next day. I really appreciate the reception staff for helping me get the emergency medical staff to come to the villa and save my life by giving me infusion. The villa itself makes us feel very close to nature. There is a sky high tree in the middle of the shower in a half open space. We shower with the tree. There are many friendly insects to accompany our stay. We found small spiders and ants family (big mother/father and small baby ants). However, gecko are my favourite. If you particular like smokey air, this is your best choice because during the day you can smell something is burning in the field just outside the door.

The staff we very helpful and the served breakfast was nice :) We were staying at Jasmine villa and the location was next to the road, so you heard the street noise. The neighbor of the property next door was listening to his radio or TV all night long…there are construction works going on, so during the day it is noisy! The only villa that seemed quiet was Gardenia at the very back.

• Anne (1/5): Nice place but impossible to stay for the next year because of construction right next to it - The rooms and staff are great. However, there are construction works right next to the Villa from 8:30am til 5:00pm every day - Monday to Sunday - huge noise - absolutely impossible to sleep, relax nor to read a book. The workers are overlooking the pool. Bring your advil for the noise. As we complained , the hotel compensated us with massages and free breakfasts, but even with that I would clearly NOT recommend anyone to choose this place until 2025, when construction is supposed to end. Note - the manager did not even greet us, say hi or anything. She was there on her computer when we checked out, not even a hello nor anything (not even dreamt of an apology for the disturbance). Super rude. Huge construction work noise all day long
• Anthony (10/5): It was the best value for money in our whole trip. Prices for food were so cheap we over ate. The food was very deliciou - The property was very clean and had a turkey relaxing and inviting feel to it as soon as we opened the does to our private villa. Everything was great
• Kim (9/5): Clean, friendly and spacious accommodation. - Staff are very attentive, and contactable, fixing a faulty bath plug promptly, changing towels, taking breakfast orders, and advising of any issues such as a change in dinner schedule. Every night they come and light the mosquito coils. Breakfast was included and you let them know of your order the night before. I recommend selecting the Indonesian style dishes. They will also inform you by phone before delivering breakfast so you can get the door open and ready. There is a free shuttle service to the centre of Ubud if needed and plenty of restaurants nearby serving delicious moderately priced fare. A small convenience store is about 150m away. The concrete floor around the pool can get easily slippery, a safety hazard. The pool is getting a bit in need of maintenance but the kids enjoyed it. There was some minor construction noises throughout the day, but you could not hear it in the actual room.

Clean and superb rooms with a great shower outside with a big tree. The staff was so nice wich really made the experience complete. Also the pool and food was very nice. If I ever come back to Ubud, this is the place we stay at! Probably the best review I ever wrote. A big thank you to all the staff members. I can't think of anything I don't like.

Wonderful service, great Balinese hospitality and effortless with all logistics. Meals were fresh, delicious and prepared on request. Clean facilities, Wonderful private pool and very private villa.

• Jess (7/5): Nice place but not really suited for young families - Staff were awesome, always friendly and happy to help. Location was ok, we walked into main centre but it was a bit of a mission with young kids although free shuttle service available at certain times. Good selection for breakfast which you choose the night before and is brought to your villa at your specified time. Comfortable beds. Nice pool, although quite deep for kids and doesn't get much sun. In-room massages were very good. The upstairs bedroom is only accessible by external stairs so we didn't feel safe having the kids sleeping up there by themselves, it seems like a completely seperate unit. Outdoor tiles are super slippery when wet not ideal when rains or so close to pool. Some of the fixtures need updating, A/C unit leaked badly upstairs, rotten timber doors, ceiling fans are very noisy. Safe wasn't working properly, can only use with key so you have to take with you when out.

• Achim (9/5): Good times! - The setting as a private villa was perfect for our family of four. 2 separate rooms, a large open living area including pool, dinner table, lounge sofa, kitchen etc. Breakfast/meals are served. The staff is very nice and is helping with everything you can think of. I couldn‘t ask for more. 10 min from Ubud center it was quiet and relaxed. We had a great time. The Bali climate is rather unforgiving. When we were there, the place was still in good shape. 3-5 years more without serious maintenance time will have taken its toll.
