The breakfasts excellent. The rooms are large and very comfortable. Exceptional. Nothing. Some people might have trouble with the steepness of the walk between the activity centers. But Uber is easy.

It is in a quiet leafy neighbourhood just a few minutes walk from all the excitement of La Provenza. The hotel is so welcoming, thanks to the incredible staff. When I had to take a very early flight within the region, they made me a sandwich for the road! The decor and layout are gorgeous. My husband was working at the hotel while I was working in the city and he loved the peaceful environment. The balcony was lovely and the terrace where a beautiful breakfast is served every day. I will stay here every time I go to Medellin. We just loved it. Nothing

AC usually no issue but the outside temp was warm, the room was street-front and the hotel (really bed & breakfast) was not inexpensive. Re refrigerator, there was no food other than breakfast and any lunch and dinner options were not easily accessible by foot. There was a "Personality Desk" in room that could not be used for real work. Service a bit iffy especially if you are not Spanish-speaking - that being said, every employee was super nice and friendly.

Jan (9/5): Great location. Lovely staff. A few facility quirks. - Beautiful grounds, wonderful staff, excellent breakfast. We were in rooms across the street from the main building. The Costa Rica room was very dark. Poor lighting. There was no water when we arrived. We weren’t forewarned of this problem. While it wasn’t their fault, they had not made provisions to mitigate until it came back on. We had to request larger bottles of water. Other guests just left.

Zachary (1/5): OUR ROOM WAS ROBBED AT THIS HOTEL OVER $6500 OF STOLEN GOODS. THE OWNERS OFFERED US NOTHING ASIDE FROM A ROOM REIMBURSE - The staff was great OUR ROOM WAS ROBBED AT THIS HOTEL OVER $6500 OF STOLEN GOODS. THE OWNERS OFFERED US NOTHING ASIDE FROM A ROOM REIMBURSEMENT (much less) AND EVEN THREATENED TO SUE US IF WE POSTED THIS REVIEW Nobody should give these family owners their money, they are terrible people. Basically this is what happened: The hotel is two houses, one on each side of the street. There is one overnight security person at the main house but nobody at the 2nd house. We assumed that was simply because it was safe. But that was clearly a wrong assumption. Based on what follows I would assume it’s because the owners are cheap. The only night we happened to be the only guests in the 2nd house, while we were out to dinner our room was robbed. With the help of the police we understood that the thief had climbed a border wall that had no barbed wire on it (the police pointed out this wasn’t safe), broke our bathroom window (glass was not the safer glass used on the window doors) and ransacked our room. They stole a laptop, 2 iPads, all chargers, sunglasses, cash, my passport and multiple credit cards. They went through everything and stole everything of value, as nobody was in the house they had all the time in the world, no security person, no security system. We also found out, by asking the owners, that the same house had been robbed in January the same way, and yet they did nothing to improve the security. Ok, so far pretty bad, but the worst is yet to come: the behavior of the owners themselves. When we spoke to the owners they asked how they could help and we said they could help by reimbursing for our stolen items. They said they were also the victims in this situation and got rude and said “absolutely not, that’s an unreasonable request”. I don’t think it’s unreasonable at all, they weren’t even willing to offer a portion of the cost, only a room reimbursement which was $1200.

Felt very homey - like a bed and breakfast feel, comfortable, welcoming and helpful staff. Really wonderful stay and highly recommend! Hot tub did not work though wasn’t indicated seemed to not be working for a while.

Some of the staff had a bit of attitude and we were in the house opposite which means having to go to reception to be let in every time you leave your room etc. surely they could give you an access code? Quite expensive compared to our other hotels in Colombia.

Mindy (8/5): Very good - The setting is just gorgeous. In the jungle with lush vegetation and yet short walk to thriving restaurants. Breakfast was good...very repetitive though. Fresh orange juice!! Maracuya jam they make themselves. Quiet....city is noisy so great to get away. Tv didn't work.

It is split between two houses a short walk from Parque Leeras but its very quite and very safe too Easy walk to the Poblado Metro Station Nothing I didn’t like other then it is/was a little expensive for Medellin

Michael (10/5): Great hotel boutique - Travelled with friends, we loved this hotel boutique. Nice owner and morning staff they always tried to advise us well. We felt well taken care of. This well-curated house is beautifully organised and decorated you feel the owners thought every detail. The terrace deck where you take breakfast is breathtaking you are in the middle of a green oasis in this buzzing city and you can hear birds all around. The breakfast was great and we liked the free drinks and coffees we could enjoy after a long day. Wonderful interior design that’s also why we came for a different experience. We loved the peace and location. Nothing

Suzanne (9/5): Superb - The boutique B&B is an oasis, located close to wonderful restaurants, bars, and cafes but just far enough away (10 min safe walk) so that you can return to tranquility. The patio has a wonderful view of tropical plants, trees and birds. The staff were knowledgeable and helpful.
Ashley (10/5): Wonderful little Hotel , a Gem - Beautiful little hotel in the heart of Poblado, wonderful “jungle” garden. We loved the beautiful terrace where they serve the breakfast. Breakfast was delicious with a special mention for the homemade croissants and eggs. We appreciated the gratuity for coffees capuchinos teas and delicious limonadas. Very friendly staff always willing to help and accommodate to our requests. Beautiful Interior design room and the House, like a designer dream 😄 At 7 minutes walking to very good restaurants and nightlife yet still very peaceful and secluded from the noise and busy city. This is a 2 - homes renovated Hotel, rooms in their second house are spacious, the private terrace beautiful. We always travel to little Hotels and this one is a gem! Nada

It was really noisy during the weekend though (somewhere nearby people were partying till the morning)

Pat (9/5): Nice stay - Nice and big rooms, good breakfast and top location. El Poblado can easily be reached by foot and still the nights are very quite so you can sleep well. There are two buildings, if you are not in the main one, you have to always go and ask for the keys. Mounting a lock that can be opened by a code (for example) would be nice.
Tracy (10/5): A hidden gem! - This quaint, boutique hotel (formerly a traditional Colombian estate) is perfectly located. It’s within walking distance of all the action but set back just far enough to be quiet and peaceful. The garden and landscaping are gorgeous; the breakfast is wonderful, and the owners and staff are incredibly friendly and gracious.

Marc (9/5): Fantastic staff, tasteful interior design, good location. - The decor was extremely tasteful. Allot of thought had gone in to this. The area felt safe with fashionable restaurants. The staff were wonderful and went out of their way to accommodate us and questions. They even gave us a metro pass with credit which we topped up before we gave back for the next guests. It was a nice touch. The breakfast was healthy and high quality (but the owner is French and they pride themselves on their food). Our room was in the annex which felt a bit out of it. Having the toilet in the bedroom, all be it separated by a screen felt a bit odd. It was more of B and B than hotel. Sometimes I wondered about the management leaving all the doors to balconies and patios, accessible from the street felt unwise. When we left we would lock them and come back and all areas were open. We did have a lock on the room and a safe, but anyone could have climbed in which seemed unwise.

Although you are in the city, it felt very private. It would be more comfortable if there was a ceiling fan instead of relying on portable fans.
