- David (10/5): Fab Lake District stop over, recommended! - Near centre of Keswick,
Comfortable room, friendly welcome and great breakfast Nothing

- Susan (9/5): An excellent stay , thank you - Spotlessly clean , comfy bed and great location . Breakfast was good too Had a single room which was very small but it did the job and the bathroom made the most of the small space too
- Hannah (10/5): Cozy stay with awesome staff and amazing food - Beautiful B&B that was really close to the downtown area. The staff were super friendly and the included breakfast was really tasty. The ensuite that I had was comfy and had all I needed N/a
- Julie (8/5): Small but perfectly formed ! - Location for Keswick town centre and parking !!!!
- Thomas (8/5): -
- David (10/5): - Barry is a great guy.....recommended. Nothing
- Robert (10/5): - Owners are brilliant - helpful and friendly Nothing
- Norman (10/5): great time and would certainly book again - Perfect breakfast, and good hospitality I liked everything, we had no concerns whatsoever
- Jon (9/5): Conveniently located clean and good value for money - Very convenient location, clean room and well equipped Room and bathroom a little too compact
- Aileen (10/5): Comfortable, welcoming & a great breakfast ☺️ - Warm and welcoming…nice touches in the room too. No complaints at all.
- John (8/5): -
- Andrew (10/5): Keswick is a lovely town in beautiful countryside and the accommodation was perfect for us, with good facilities and loc - Warm room, good breakfast, parking outside, hot shower, owner answered the door (sometimes accessing accommodation can be quite challenging and stressful). All our needs met. This is not a criticism of the property but… we had no phone reception anywhere in Keswick. Fortunately we’d screenshotted a Google Maps image showing the location of the property, otherwise we would have struggled to find it.
- Brown (9/5): - Lovely breakfast owners very friendly 😀

- Rachel (1/5): Very poor service and disastrous stay getting shut out in the early hours - When I tried to get into the guest house in the early hours I couldn’t get in. It looked like I’d been locked out. Luckily I could stay on a sofa at my sister’s rental otherwise I’d have been stranded. In the morning I could see that the door has been planed at the top so it must have swollen and jammed in the rain. I didn’t ring the bell because the evening before no one had come at 7pm so I didn’t expect they would answer in the early hours as I thought I’d been locked out on purpose. The next day when I was leaving and wanted to tell them about my problem I rang the bells and knocked on the doors and waited and knocked and waited but no one came. In the end I gave up and left.
- fergie (9/5): Lovely short stay, amazing breakfast, would definitely recommend and come back again! - Gorgeous place, amazing location not far from anything ! Jammed door could not get in using the key fob late at night.
- diane (8/5): - It was good to be able to park outside and the walk into town was only 5 minutes. Breakfast was nicely cooked, the shower worked well, and the owners were friendly.
- Wieslaw (9/5): Excellent stay! - Excellent. Proper B&B, lovely room, excellent bed, very comfortable, excellent duvet and bedding, bathroom spotless , good proper English breakfast. Very efficiently managed. Credit to the proprietor!
- Tianyao (8/5): quite good - Very close to the town centre, the room was very quiet, and the host was extremely friendly. He not only looked after my luggage for me but also kindly took it up to my room. The hotel wasn’t particularly good value for money, but that’s probably because the Lake District is a popular holiday destination and accommodation options are quite limited, so it’s understandable.
- Roger (7/5): - Great location, breakfast was excellent The room was cold. A little cramped for room, to prepare my walking stuff
- Richard (8/5): -
- Dave (4/5): - Good quiet location, only a few minutes walk to the town centre. Free on street parking.
Very good breakfast. Not a particularly warm welcome.
Room was the size of a broom cupboard. Not even room for a chair.
- Nicola (10/5): - Very good
- lisa (7/5): Warm, clean, comfortable, good location - Comfortable rooms, easy walk to bars & restaurants, good breakfast Unfortunately there was some other guest staying, that was shouting and screaming in another room, all the other guests heard him , as discussed at breakfast and he was asked to leave thankfully!! Do not let this put you off your stay though!

- Divers (9/5): Really cosy room in great location - Great location, very clean and comfortable Nothing
- Galina (10/5): The hotel is very cozy and safe to stay in. Great view from the window!!! - Everything was wonderful. The owner was very kind, polite, and friendly. We really liked the hotel.👍👍👍 I liked everything very much. Thanks!👍

- Sarah (6/5): Misleading - A nice guest house, comfortable stay. Greeted with a warm welcome. Location was good. I specifically chose this guest house because they said they cater for vegans. I told them when booking that I was vegan. Yet, they weren't prepared for me. No plant milk. No vegan options at breakfast. If an accommodation says they cater for a particular diet, there are certain things that the customer expects as a minimum. Just removing any meat or dairy products from the breakfast and calling it catering for vegans is substandard. Youre not giving these guests the same experience as your meat eating guests. Just buy some vegan sausages and keep them in the freezer. Get some long life plant milk. Its not difficult. I had to leave my breakfast at the guesthouse and buy my breakfast from a cafe in town. Very disappointing. If I'd have known you didn't cater for vegans I would've chosen to stay elsewhere. Don't advertise that you do if you dont. Simple.

- Ryan (10/5): -
- Lindsey (10/5): Great location, clean, comfortable and a lovely breakfast. - The breakfast was great, freshly cooked and delicious.
The location was really good, just a short walk into the town centre. The streets surrounding the guesthouse were busy with parked cars so it was hard to find a space, but what was good was that it was free parking.
- James (10/5): - Everything. Comfortable, nice breakfast and location. Nothing
- Shana (8/5): A night in Keswick - The location was pretty good, and easily accessible. The host was waiting to let us in although we were quite late. The rooms were clean. Claire was a gracious host, and on our check-in, she gave us pointers on where to find dinner. Breakfast was good - freshly prepared to our requests taken the previous night. For the size of the room, and the fact that we got there to late, and check out was at 10 AM, for me, the value for money was not justified. But to each their own expectations!
- Stephen (8/5): -
- McKie (5/5): It was OK for a few days - Good location Room very small
- steven (9/5): - Everything N/A
- Stephen (10/5): Very pleasant stay. Tasty breakfast. - It was close to town Nothing
- Rhiann (8/5): - Great central location and easy parking for a Friday. We arrived in Keswick early Friday morning and comfortable leaving our car near the property. Easy check-in and clear instructions. Comfortable bed and warm. N/A
- Elmansoub (9/5): -
- Alison (10/5): Amazing stay with delicious breakfast - Absolutely amazing guesthouse and would definately return. The bed was so comfy and breakfast was 1st class Nothing at all
- Ellie (7/5): - Great location for Keswick Vegetarian sausages or similar replacement options would have been nice for the Full English breakfast.
- Rachel (9/5): - Very convenient for a short walk into the town and close to the cinema. Free parking available on the street. Great shower and comfy bed after long day out on the fells.
- Mignon (9/5): I would recommend it to family and friends traveling there. - Everything was nicely appointed to make it comfortable and cosy. The owner was friendly and helpful. My food intolerances were well accommodated. Nothing- everything worked out well.
- Deborah (10/5): Clean and comfortable room. - Clean and comfortable room. Nice breakfast.
- Joby (10/5): -
- Gaynor (8/5): Nice B&B but could be better - Nice and clean, close to the town centre. Breakfast was nice but the vegetarian option was just a full English without the sausage and bacon. They didn’t add anything extra like 2 eggs or more mushrooms. Couldn’t find the host to check out so had to wait.
- Monika (7/5): - Exceptional brekfast, really nice room ,clean and comfortable 👌 The only issue we had is the parking free on street parking but we couldn't find space at all it took us good 10 minutes to find a spot but then we needed to walk with all the bags to the hotel
- Allan (10/5): Excellent guesthouse close to centre of Keswick - The staff were friendly and welcoming and the property was well decorated and maintained. It was also very clean and the room was serviced each day. The guest house offered a good breakfast which was cooked to order and was included in the price.
The guest house was close to the town centre which was a major reason we decided to book. There was ample free on street parking nearby. There was nothing we didn't like. The single room was on the small side and the stairs were quite steep, which might not suit everyone, but it wasn't a problem for us.
- David (8/5): Good location for Keswick - Did what it said and breakfast was great Didn’t like the impersonality of booking in property.
- Andrew (9/5): Very comfortable and welcoming with tasty breakfast. - Lovely and comfortable with friendly hosts. Good breakfast.
- Simon (9/5): -
- Elaine (9/5): -
- Debra (10/5): -
- Michelle (10/5): Charming Keswick B&B - Breakfast was superb. Various choices and options of cooked breakfast or more continental.
Room was lovely, clean and comfy. Short walking distance into town.
- Russell (10/5): Solid Stay - Solo traveller for one night and this was absolutely brilliant! Comfy bed, clean room, decent shower, filling breakfast and friendly service.
Great location too, about 6mins to the main high street.
- krinie (10/5): - Excellent host – beautifully maintained property and a fantastic breakfast.
- Biggs (9/5): Perfect for what we needed excellent breakfast - Close to town centre
- David (8/5): - One night trip, beautifully maintained building and welcoming hosts. Good breakfast and pre order system worked well. Room had everything I needed and quiet, despite central location. Recommended if in Keswick.
- Stephen (7/5): A good and friendly example of the classic British B&B. - Nice couple, situated on the edge of town in an area with many B&Bs, but best side of town for the lake and Castlerigg
- Jo-Anne (8/5): -
- Klaudyna (10/5): -
- margaret (8/5): -
- Jean (10/5): Excellent accommodation - Spotlessly clean and very well presented. Comfy beds and a good breakfast. Very friendly hosts and easy walk into Keswick Nothing
- Storey (10/5): Very nice stay - Easy access to the town centre No complaints
- Pip (7/5): -
- Bryan (9/5): Thouroughly enjoyable stay. - Very comfortable and clean accomodation, nice view of the countryside over the top of the houses, lovely location close to the town centre, helpful staff, tasty, well prepared breakfast, would highly recommend Glendale to anyone wanting to visit the area.
- Emanuele (9/5): Very relaxing - It was a quiet stay in a very nice venue. The owners were absolutely lovely as well! I'd definitely book again. Nothing
- Thomas (10/5): Exceptional - Great little B&B in the heart of Keswick. Very handy and was everything we needed. Only thing to bear in mind and this is nothing to do with the property, but the streets around are packed with vehicles so parking is very tricky. But other than that it was great for us!
- Leo (10/5): Exceptional -
- Stephen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Arran (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mira (8/5): Clean, and tidy room — nice and quiet too. Would definitely stay again. - Clean, and tidy room — nice and quiet too. Would definitely stay again.

- Angela (9/5): Superb - Very nice welcome, rooms very clean and comfy, location ideal , breakfast delicious and service very well organised
- Harry (7/5): Decent enough - Breakfast and hosts were amazing. Really good shower which was very much needed after a day of walking. Great location too with it being only a couple of minutes walk from the centre Room was very small, even for a single. There was also no temperature control (not even a fan) which wasn't comfortable in the recent heat. Also not fond of the motion sensor lights which kept going off.
- Emma (10/5): Exceptional - Great to have a full breakfast available, room had everything we needed
- Helen (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely clean and comfortable room. Bed was amazing! Breakfast was excellent and a perfect start for a day on the fells.
- Hannah (10/5): Exceptional - A warm welcome, great location and lovely room.
- Ruth (9/5): Superb - Excellent bed. Good bedside lamps. Ensuite very good. Would have liked a bit of decaf coffee in the room. Hosts were not there when we arrived at the expected checkin time. We were a bit confused what we were supposed to be doing, but after we rang the Internet connected bell the host returned after only a few minutes.
- Jay (10/5): Good place to stay. - Good Location. Great breakfast. The price was reasonable. The room is compact, so you're limited on space.
