• Leslie (10/5): - Our room was clean and comfortable, and the hotel was in easy walking distance of all the old town attractions and shopping and restaurants. The front desk staff was, without exception, very friendly,helpful and receptive to all our questions. One of the young men even called a friend to pump up our low tire!! The breakfast was very nice, a good selection of hot and cold options. We were very happy with our stay and would highly recommend it.

• Leacroft (8/5): Ideal location, nice hotel - This small hotel is ideally located right in the heart of the old town right. Rooms are very clean, and have really good air conditioning (which I was very glad of during a few very hot days!), a nice shower and a comfortable bed. There’s also a fridge in the room. The breakfast buffet has a small but appetising range of items. The staff were all friendly and very helpful.

• Crannah10 (8/5): Great location - This hotel is in a great location right in the middle of the old town, a short walk to all attractions and restaurants. The breakfast was ok, it was topped up regularly and had a fair variety although it does not cater for vegans/those with a dairy allergy as there was no plant milk or butter to have cereal, toast or coffee. The walls are very thin so you will hear the people in neighbouring rooms and also from the street (although this is probably expected in the town centre). The main issue was the pillows-they are terrible!! All the pillows in our room were hard and lumpy. The towels are also poor quality and are tatty and hard. No separate shampoo/ conditioner which gives a cheap feel. Overall I would recommend but expect more a 3 star hotel rather than a 4.
• Michael (10/5): E - This was the seventh hotel I’d stayed at on my current trip and perhaps I’ve become spoiled after decades of travel, but Hotel Old Town and Adnan especially were EXCELLENT! I almost want to dissuade people from going there so it won’t be crowded next time I go, but the truth is the rooms were very comfortable and as spacious as the area and price range dictates, the location was insanely good, and the way Adnan helped me with parking and then chatted with me the following morning gave it almost a B&B feel. Floored. Will be back 100% and the incredible experience here made me love B&H even more.

• Mario (10/5): - I had a great stay at the Hotel Old Town. My room was extremely clean and very comfortable. The shower had great water pressure, got hot immediately, and they don't have those terrible showers where the doors don't close and you get water all over the floor. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast had a nice variety and good quality. Plus the location can't be beat.

These were all Ottoman Era Mosques in Sarajevo, Bosnia.Dubai's Kadak Chai was available in Sarajevo Old Town. Lots of Turkish Restaurants for meals were there also.

• CAROL ANN (10/5): - Zaida, the concierge checked us in and she is vey kind, professional and knowledgeable. The hotel is located at the center of old town, lots of dining and shopping options nearby and a stones throw away from the attractions in and around old town including the famous Sebilj fountain. We love our room, it has a very nice view of the big mosque beside the hotel and old town itself. The shower is big and the bathroom is clean although the spray bidet in our toilet is broken. It came with the usual amenities. The breakfast buffet is fine and enough to start our day. Bed and pillows are comfortable and the most important thing for us, the air-conditioning is working even on a cold day in November. We want sleep in a cold room covered in duvet 😚 We loved Sarajevo and if we come back here we will surely go back to this hotel. 10/10!!
• BuckyCharms (10/5): Great Location, Good Value - The hotel isn't the fanciest, but it's good value for the money. Breakfast was sufficient and rooms were clean. The location of the hotel is terrific, in the old town. Walkable to everything. But what made my stay was the staff at the front desk. The young lady who welcomed me was lovely... and a special thank you to Adnan who was beyond helpful. Breakfasts were not fancy but very sufficient. I will stay here again if ever in Sarajevo!

The receptionist said that we need to make reservation for the parking, which I did not know when I made reservation three months ago.

• 43gerryl (10/5): Terrific value in pedestrian Old Town - My partner and I stayed for 4 nights in mid September. We would recommend i-Hotel Old Town as excellent value. The location in the pedestrian area of the Old Town is unmatched. It is a boutique hotel - maybe 15 rooms - but with a fast lift to upper floors. Rooms are of decent size with comfortable beds, very clean, and with a good bathroom and shower. Breakfast is unpretentious, with a nice variety of food. There are several good restaurants nearby - our best experience was at Careva Cuprija, less than 5 minutes on foot. The Hotel staff are outstanding in their friendliness and helpfulness - a special shout out to Adnan who organised transport and excursions. We hope to visit Sarajevo again, and would stay at Hotel Old Town without any hesitation.
• Claire (10/5): - We stayed here for 3 nights in Sept '24 and would definitely recommend this hotel for a stay in Sarajevo. The location is excellent, right in the heart of the old town and very easy to get to from the train station. The staff were always very friendly and helpful (eg, storing our cases early on our arrival day until check in). Breakfast had a great selection (hot food, cererals, fruit, cheese, cake etc) that slightly varied each morning. Room had good AC and a mini fridge. We would stay again.
• Elena (10/5): Amazing hotel right at the edge of barcarsija - The hotel was amazing! It’s right on the edge of barcarsija so it’s super walkable. We loved the fact that they had parking available (you need to contact the hotel ahead of time), the breakfast was great, and the bed was the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in. The room we had wasn’t super spacious, but we were only there to sleep and it did fit our 2 big suitcases, so it was fine. If we ever visit Sarajevo again, I will definitely stay at this hotel!

The staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome and they are very knowledge on the whole town so ask away! Bathroom was a little small but very, very clean. You can walk everywhere from this hotel. Great sleep.
• Cosmopolitan787818 (8/5): Great location, comfortable stay, but be cautious with breakfast - We recently stayed at this hotel in the heart of the old part of Sarajevo and overall had a mixed experience. The location is absolutely fantastic, perfect for exploring the charming historic area on foot. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep, and despite being in a bustling part of the city, the noise from the street was minimal. However, there are a few things to be mindful of. Parking is very limited and must be booked in advance, which can be a bit inconvenient if you’re driving. Additionally, while the breakfast buffet had a variety of options, both my companion and I experienced stomach pain afterwards. In summary, if location and comfort are your top priorities, this hotel is a great choice. Just be cautious with the breakfast and ensure you arrange parking ahead of time.

• Craigp0017 (8/5): Good location for all Sarajevo has to offer. - Well located in the older part of town. Easy walk to tour guides locations. A carpark was available. The staff were very helpful, special call out to Elma. The room was quite spacious, bed comfortable. Interestingly the hotel does not have EFT payment options, with many restaurants and shops having this functionality. The short doona and no top sheet for a tall person means the toes or the shoulders are not covered. The shower head is very low. Buffet breakfast is basic but acceptable.

• Sri (10/5): Nice hotel in the old town - Great location…at old town. Lots of happening at the hotel surrounding…restaurant, shops, money changer, mosques, museums…many more. Comfy bed, strong wifi, clean room & good breakfast buffet spread. Front desk staff, Elma is very friendly & advised me the best places to eat in the old town. Truly enjoyed my stay there. Highly recommended.

• markr427 (10/5): Fantastic hotel in an ideal location - The hotel is perfectly located in the middle of Old Town Sarajevo, so very easy to access all locations in the area. Breakfast is excellent. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The rooms are modern and clean. WiFi works great. This is the second visit here and it will not be the last. It’s a great - and charming - alternative to the larger hotels in the immediate area.

I browsed through many hotels & made the perfect decision to stay in Hotel Old Town Strategic location, very close to main attractions and public transports, in the heart of Sarajevo Old Town - can easily find places to eat and shop. Very very friendly and helpful staffs who’d make you feel welcomed instantaneously. Neat tidy & spacious room. Breakfast is included - gives you a taste of Bosnian morning delicacies. Highly recommended!

• David (10/5): Fantastic hotel - This hotel ticked all the boxes - great location, tasty breakfast, pleasant staff, and very comfortable rooms. Even though our hotel was on the first floor above a busy bar, we couldn’t hear the noise and slept soundly. The bed and pillows and perfectly firm. The shower has plenty of hot water and pressure. If you need transport to/from the airport, definitely reach out to the hotel for help. We got ripped off in a taxi on the way in, but thankfully one of the reception workers organized a taxi for us to return to the airport. I wish we had asked them to organize the transfer from the airport, too! I would definitely stay here again.

Everything is in walking distance from hotel. We come 2-3 times a year in sarajevo and we will return to this place for sure next time we visit!

• Jack (10/5): Perfect spot in Sarajevo - We had a great stay in Sarajevo at Hotel Old Town. The location was perfect right in the center of Old Town! The room was excellent with all the necessary amenities. It was very hot during our stay and we appreciated the excellent A/C! The included breakfast was good with both continental and American style items including fresh fruits and good Bosnian coffee! The best part of our stay was the welcoming staff especially including Alma who coordinated our late night airport arrival and made sure we were met and safely checked into the Hotel after midnight! Thanks to all the friendly and helpful staff!

• Patrick (10/5): You won’t get a better location !!! - The best location you will find in Old Town Sarajevo. It’s a small hotel with only 15 rooms. The rooms are small but very comfortable. No complaints at all. Due to the small size of the hotel, the front desk staff has a nice friendly connection with their guests. There is a free breakfast which is perfect. Steps away from the front door is a nice patio where you can end your day with some drinks. When I say steps, I counted myself taking 4 steps. Highly recommend this hotel. You will not be disappointed.

• whugirl (10/5): Fantastic Hotel - Absolutely perfect hotel. The location is unbeatable, right in the very centre of the old town so easy to walk everywhere. The staff on reception were very welcoming and polite and spoke fluent English. They looked after our bags and gave us a map and plenty of advice. The room is clean and comfortable and the breakfast very nice. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend if staying in Sarajevo.

The sheets, towels, bath everything was super clean. The bath was small but the showers were new and worked great. Our room overlooked a historical mosque. They have parking space a few feet away from their entrance. You have to reserve parking in advance and they will help you find your slot. The hospitality was great. Mr Adnan helped us with information to get around the city. They were very responsive to our queries even on phone. It general, great stay

They can organise airport transfer for 15 euro which worked smoothly both on arrival and leaving. Would definitely stay again when I next visit.

• imogentraveller1 (10/5): The best hotel in Sarajevo - This hotel was the best possible place to stay during my trip to Sarajevo, I really recommend it. Finding the hotel was easy, it is right in the centre of Baščaršija which is the main touristic spot of the city. Everything of importance is within 5-10 minutes walking distance, with the Gazi Husrev-beg mosque literally right outside. There is plenty of restaurants, coffee shops and markets nearby. Plus the assassination spot of Franz Ferdinand is literally a few seconds from the hotel. Check in and check out process was smooth, both of the gentlemen working in reception were absolutely welcoming and helpful during my stay, always with a smile and a greeting each time I saw them. My room was 103 which has a great view of the mosque. The bed was comfortable and large, plenty of wardrobe space, nice TV and a fridge, plenty of electronic outlets. The shower was really nice and plenty of towels, pillows, blankets, soap, toilet paper etc was provided without me having to request anything. The room was to a great modern standard. Breakfast every morning was simple but nice, they always offered to cook me some eggs however I liked, and they had on display plenty of fruit, breads, pastries & cakes, cheese, meat and biscuits. Coffee and juice were nice too. If I return to Sarajevo I will definitely stay here again, it was an excellent experience. Thank you very much to all the staff.
• Khalifa (8/5): - Very lovely quiet hotel. Respectful staff. The room was cleaned everyday. The hotel was close to all the shops and cafes. Only problems there was no bathtub in any room. No laundry. Also no water/coffee, had to bring from outside. Overall will visit again. Thanks.

The staff is attentive and the breakfast more than adequate. A special thank you to Adnan for all his help with boarding passes and everything else I needed help with. The room size was good, and we felt warm inside, although it was very cold this winter. Very strategically located in the old town and within walking distance of most key attractions. The breakfast was good too, with a decent soread for vegetarians.

• Ym (2/5): - This property is a joke. After a late night out, had a friend stay until the morning. They demanded I pay 20 euro because of this. They deactivated my keycard and locked me out of my room until I could come up with it. Horrible customer service, don't stay here.
• RP (2/5): - After a late night out, had a friend come and stay and they extorted 20euro out of me. Friend didn't have breakfast. Locked me out of my room until I paid up. There was no written policy about having another guest but they made it up that I had to pay 20euro. What a joke. Aside from this, the staff member was very rude and deactivated my key until I gave in to their extortion. I have never had this experience, ever. I don't recommend this hotel, terrible service and they make rules up on the spot.

• Darijo (10/5): Great little one!!! - Great small hotel with amazing location. Comfort bed and big shower. Very clean and people that work here are very pleasant. I will book this hotel again, that's for sure.

• Verified traveler (10/5): Wonderful staff and location - This was a perfect hotel location to visit the old town Sarajevo. Parking was a little bit difficult to figure out but they gave us a reserved spot as soon as we checked in. Until we figured out parking, we just went to the public parking space behind the Europe hotel which was a block from our hotel.But the hotel was close to all we wanted to see . Staff was delightful, food was good and we had a happy stay.

Adnan was a great help In recommending a driver to take us touring in Sarajevo. Driver was knowledgeable and informative. Will happily recommend Hotel Old Town to anyone travelling to Sarajevo.

• Alvin (10/5): Deserves Its Very High Rating - This hotel is great. It's only a couple of hundred feet from the point where Franz Ferdinand was assassinated in 1914. We parked only 100 feet from hotel and less than that from the assassination point. Near everything in town. Very helpful staff, across the board--great advice on tours and food. Good breakfast room; great bedroom and bathroom. Couldn't ask for more.
